Hedwig is definitely at the top of the list. I was a bawling mess when she died. She was Harry’s first friend.

Ron - he gets a bad rep among the fandom but he is the MVP, I love him

Hermione - also MVP, she keeps Harry & Ron alive and is the one who has the two braincells of the three of them. 🤣

I'm incredibly socially awkward (not as much as Newt) and sometimes rather anti-social unless with family and long-time friends, with them I switch into Tonks, all bubbly and happy and talking endlessly. Newt is adorable and reminds me a lot of myself, though he is much braver with bigger animals than I am. I'd wet myself 😭

Teddy the Niffler - he’s adorable, I'd give him all my gold

Tonks — she is so cool, my favourite of the newer members of the Order of Phoenix.

Bellatrix - she is the crazy, rich, cool aunt that tells you everything about life, is completely shameless (love it) and takes you skydiving or sth crazy. She's very clever and a very powerful witch. Idk why the fandom thinks all there is to her is just her obsession with Voldy (even that can be great, but there is more to her) — I ship her with her husband, the Lestrange brother (I always forget which is which 🤣)

Thanks for asking ^^ I am very happy to answer some questions. (And you literally read in my mind. Just before reblogging I was reminiscing about school years XD)

4.  how did your elementary school teachers describe you?

When I was in elementary school In Poland it lasted 6 years and consisted of 2 stages. In first we had 3 teachers and in the second one around 10 XD

My first teacher was a bitch (And I don’t even feel bad about calling her that XD) I used to be bullied and beat up by another student and in her opinion I should just become stronger and deal with it myself. I was 6-7 and she probably considered me a weak little crybaby. (Fortunately I changed classes several months later).

My next homeroom teacher was a really sweet woman, I liked her a lot. She was young but had several years of experience with teaching. I remember we used to sing, do puzzles or draw during breaks between studying. I actually have a written report she wrote about me (this is a thing for children in 1-3) and she described me as a quiet, dutiful girl and a great student, but added that I have troubles with connecting to other children.

Most teachers probably had similar views. There is one that I am almost 100% sure that she liked me and I still tend to go out of my way to talk to her. She was my nature studies teacher (and then in junior highschool also physics teacher). She was the very strict headmaster and every other student hated her, though I actually enjoyed her classes and pace of learning. She also used to go on and on about how nice, polite, hardworking girl I am which did wonder for my anxiety (unfortunately I learned she used to tell it also to other students, so a lot of people hated me and I am not sure if I forgave her that yet... though I still think rather fondly about her. I explain it to myself that she is just as socially inept as I am).

15. favorite book you read as a school assignment?

Ok, I love books, or at the very least I loved them when I was younger (highschool destroyed it a little, nowadays I mostly read interactive novels and fanfics). So I enjoyed many obligatory readings we used to get. But to name my favs :)

“The Children of Noisy Village” (”Six Bullerby Children”) by Astrid Lindgren - I loved all these small adventures these kids used to get into. This is the book of my childhood.

“W Pustyni i w Puszyczy” (”In Desert and Wilderness“) by Henryk Sienkiewicz - Story about 2 children/teenagers Staś and Nel kidnapped during Mahdist War and their journey as they tried to return to their families.

55. favorite fairy tale?

I really hope that “Mulan” counts. I had a great time when I saw it for the first time and I still watch it occasionally. (I also really enjoyed film that was stylised to be some sort of a fairy tale “Stardust”. It was wonderful and I cannot recommend enough watching it during a free moment.)

58. four talents you’re proud of having?

This is by far the hardest question... I don’t think I have any talents (I probably should return to doing this sort of exercise though...) Ok, so let’s try. 

I am rather quick learner, not a very good one, but normally I manage to organise myself enough for studying be be rather easy for me. 

I am not sure if it is a talent, but I am so very happy with my english skills and that they allow me to communicate with so many wonderful people. 

Maybe drawing for the next one? Several days ago I saw my first sketches from more than 10 years ago and it was a shock XD 

During last 2 years I also learned that I am way more resistant than I ever thought. This is not really a talent, but noneless my preservance until now makes me proud.

any phobias?  ⇨  just really specific and weird ones but nothing common but... i do not like stone statues esp angels bc of doctor who or reflections in mirrors that don’t do what they’re supposed to do in media (bloody mary terrifies me thank u very much) and people i love dying in my presence (i always have to listen to people breathing at times just to know they haven’t dropped dead next to me) but i don’t think those effect my daily life very much except maybe loved ones dying around me but that is more situationally triggered than having the fear that they’re just gonna have a heart attack out of nowhere, it’s mostly when i’m having a sleep over with friends or my dad sleeping on the couch next to me when this phobia triggers me, used to hate spiders but i’m chill with them nowadays actually pet a tarantula this year so i’ve come pretty far with that one would still flee like a wraith was after me if i ever saw a huntsman (i know they’re harmless but they’re BIG)

favourite childhood sports? ⇨  was in a swimming club and i still do love swimming a whole lot also mini golf was always fun and i liked the children’s sports club that i was in where we played different group ball games

Random thoughts about GoT “The Bells” I wanted to write because I am tired of everyone being salty about his episode. I write this for me, not start fights in the comments or sth... (And I don’t have time to spell check all of this, so sorry for bad english) I am so fed up with everyone complaining during the whole season of how bad it is, just because 1. everyone else is complaining 2. your fav characters aren’t fav anymore.  Dany turned out to be mad? Oh really? You are surprised by that? It was known from like the beggining? She is the last one of the line of constant incest. She coulnd’t be normal... Let me explain sth. The only thing she craved was POWER. Protecting the people was the additional thing, not the main. She knew that setting people free can bring her the position and allies she wanted. She now saw that she won’t have the kingdom she fought for/dreamed of, because she was certain Jon will take it away from her (she is so blinded by obsession of power, that she can’t understand that Jon sincerely doesn’t want to rule), because he “betrayed” her, as she thinks. It was mentioned several time throught the show, that she knows she can rule people by fear. And now she did exactly what she wanted from the beggining: Destroying King’s Landing, she said it while being Khaleesi.  She wanted to be feared, wanted revenge and wanted to do what she was preparing for. And she did that. All of this mouring 2 of her children (and Jorah, the only guy who always stopped her before doing cruel things). Because she loved the dragons just as Cercei loved her lion pups. Sometimes characters we like turn out to be bad guys, sorry.  Second most often complain: Jamie character development is trash now!!!111!!1!!1  No it’s not! Jamie loved Cercei. It was the only thing he really sticked with. Yes, He has a lot of good in him (relationship with Brienne and Tyrion) but he’s madly in love with Cercei. He couldn’t stand how she wanted to betray the Starks, because he knew the Battle of Winterfell is the most important thing ever, for the whole kingdom, and for them (still, protecting Cercei from her stupid decision). Being away from Cercei, trying to make out with Brienne... he realised it’s not the same, that he still needs Cercei and misses her. He specifically told Brienne he’s a monster, just to not make her miss him, cuz he knew he would never love her, as he loved Cercei for the whole time. We all know, people do crazy things for love. And this is what Jamie did - crazy things for Cercei.  Quick break: pls, let’s make sth really clear. No matter what the writing was in this episode... the cinematography was SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE BEST ONES I’VE EVER SEEN. Omg, all the shoots were like... perfect? Lighting, composition, maaaaan what a masterpiece. The scene of Lone Arya was absolutely beautiful. One of the most visually pleasing scenes of all time in tv series.   The only REALLY bad things about this season are:  1. Mirculously low death toll among main characters during the battle with the dead. Yes I agree, that it was really weird all of them survived. 2. Mystic Horse in the middle of the ruined city (or it’s a Uber called by Bran, than fine, let’s be it) And most important 3. Jon not hugging Ghost. Seriously, as much as I want to find reasons why this season is good, nothing will change how bad the Jon and Ghost farewell was. CGI limits? Dany is riding the fricking Dragon the whole season and you can’t animate 10seconds of hand touching fur because it’s too difficult? Shame on you HBO, shame. This is the real bullshit, not the writing. One last thing from me: Do you really wanted the happy ending with Dany and Jon ruling happily all of the 7 kingdoms? Because all of the stuff you don’t like, is the stuff that ruins this exact happy ending, nothing else.  If they ended the show with happy ever after, everyone would be complaing that it’s lazy writing just to make fans happy. I guess you will naver satisfy the fans nowadays. Especially with sth with such ENORMOUS expectations.  (it was kinda the same with Endgame...) And let’s not forget, that the ending of this story is still the ending GRRM told them to do, so everything that happens leads to original GRRM ending... just sayin this to all those “omg if GRRM wrote the books it would be better” Yeah, I’m finished, and I totally wait for the last episode :D

They’re disasters as parents but they try their best and are always having fun - Nori adores them! In their house not a minutes goes by without someone laughing, they’re all super loud and cheerful always~ neither of them has any problem dealing with Nori’s quirk, Sero has spent a whole lifetime learning how to deal with sticky stuff and tape and glue so he knows all the tricks to save clothes and furniture from accidental quirk usage and so on, while Mina’s own quirk makes it easy to counter any glue that might end on her - the main thing actually is that the quirk itself was a surprise! Since Nori looks a lot like Mina, both she and Sero had expected her to have acid like Mina so when she started gluing herself around in places and walking along walls and stuff it was a surprise (they had expected to have to deal with the house being constantly half destroyed by acid though, so glue is nothing compared to that haha)

(part 1) ur gonna roast me for this but im legit curious why mafia AUs are so bad? im asking in a non confrontational way, i get it romanticizing mafia is wrong, but i also believe that 1)most mafia AUs are a really toned down type of mafia;2)they do make for some interesting kinds of dynamics with fanart and with fics; 3)in a fic specifically u can create your own world and call something mafia and still make it so they don't kill innocent people but only idk members of other gangs or sth

(part 2) plus theyre a way to put ur charas in a completely diff context and see what theyll do. i mean i dont believe that writing ships in a certain context (like mafia) equals romanticizing that context. mafia AUs arent even my fav things to read (in fact i almost never do), im sure many ppl romanticize it and i obvs dont agree with that but im just trying to udnerstand bc i believe fandoms are a way to explore things that we normally wouldnt.

okay, so, let’s have it out of the way: I have nothing against mob aus or crime aus. I have a problem against calling them mafia AUs because in the US mafia = organized crime at large, in Italy mafia = ACTUAL EXISTING ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE ACTIVELY HARMFUL. now that I introduced the topic I’ll c/p you the reply I gave to another anon who while discussing the issue pointed out that most writers don’t even know Italian mafia is a thing, which is pretty much on the same discourse so...

*The thing is - in the US it might not be enough of a deal anymore and I honestly do get why people make the mafia = regular mobsters, since the mafia was the first foreign organized crime being exported to the US via italian immigrants (sorry if this sounds horrible in English but I just woke up and I still didn’t have coffee) so I understand that mafia became the umbrella term.But the thing is that - as you said, these people don’t even know that there’s a mafia in Italy anymore or where the word comes from.

 I’m going to link to italiansreclaimingitaly’s tag about the mafia and its perception outside Italy because they posted about this extensively and it’s an excellent resource, but meanwhile I’m gonna do a very short bullet point list and about the topic:

Mafia might not be a big deal in the US, but it still is here. We have the beauty of four different mafias (Cosa Nostra - the Sicilian one, camorra which is the one in Campania but has tendrils spread everywhere, the 'ndrangheta which is in Calabria and the Sacra Corona Unita in Puglia) which are all active [especially camorra and 'ndrangheta] and whose actions have direct impact (negative) on our economy and on our society. Actually mafias are one of the main reasons we’re currently economically fucked up, and if I start talking about how mafia culture keeps some areas literally backwards I could talk about it for three months.

There are still people who are killed for standing up against them. These days the most prominent personality is Roberto Saviano who is a writer who dared to put together a book documenting minutely the way camorra works and he’s been living under protection for years by this point. Like, they want him dead because he wrote a book. And I’m sorta sure that he was talking about leaving Italy and going to the US after years of sticking with it here because he can’t take it anymore but I don’t know if it was a taken decision or if it’s still debating it.

It wasn’t even thirty years ago that we had the stragi di mafia - in english it’d be something like the mafia slaughters, basically around the beginning of the nineties there were a number of bombs planted by the mafia targeting people who were trying to oppose it including judges Falcone and Borsellino, actually the anniversary of Falcone’s death is like... tomorrow. And they’ve killed people for way longer than that. Here is a list of only Cosa Nostra victims including the ones from the eighties/nineties. And people are still dying because of it. The slaughters I’m referring to are just the ones in the nineties which are enough of a number.

They also perpetuate a culture where if you testify against your mafia-employed relatives you’ll be shunned forever. There are women who testified against their families and couldn’t see their children anymore never mind that they weren’t automatically considered a relative anymore the moment they sided against the mafia. Some people have committed suicide after becoming witnesses also because our police force/justice system can be terribly non-supportive in this kind of situation so they got left on their own. Never mind that back in the day - it was the beginning of the nineties? - I recall at least a particular story of - I think, correct me if I remember wrong but I can’t remember the names for the life of me - where this guy testified against the local mafia when he either used to work for them or was forced to pay them the pizzo and in retaliation his six-year old (or five? Anyway he had a son younger than ten for sure) got kidnapped, killed and thrown into acid to dispose of the body. That happened in what, 1993? 1994? It’s pretty much yesterday. And now the camorra is doing the same - there’s a list here of camorra victims among which accidental passerbys that got killed because they were in the way which I can tell just by glancing is not complete. And I’m not even going into the 'ndrangheta. That is to say, here mafia still kills people and cripples our country.

Now, I get that it’s a word, but the point was: let’s say that instead of the Italians the Japanese came to the US first and the umbrella word for organized crime was yakuza rather than mafia and let’s say yakuza was still what it was originally in Japan while in the US it stopped being a big deal and people write yakuza!AU instead of mafia AU. Let’s say someone Japanese gets angry at that and goes like 'listen the yakuza is a real deal it does this this this and that and it’s a plague in our country so can you please at least look it up before writing your fanfic’, which is what had happened way back then when this whole mafia and fanfic thing blew up. A bunch of people told us to get over it because it’s just a word and if it’s a problem in Italy it’s not in the US so why should they care? Now, if we had been Japanese (or Chinese or Russian or Mexican) would they have said the same thing? Considering the general tumblr attitude I’m pretty sure they would have received either an apology or 'this is an important deal let’s keep that in mind’ with signal boost reblogs and stuff. 

It’s the fact that we should get over people not knowing that it’s still a real problem for us and that they can’t take five seconds to google it that is the problem imo. Especially when instead of mafia au you can just say mobsters au or tag it as organized crime and everyone is a lot happier, mostly because as the tag above explains romanticising the mafia is a good thing for them because it means they can act outside Italy with less stigma because everyone thinks that the mafia is dead or not relevant anymore, if I’m explaining myself. (And it’s active outside Italy - like, there was a mafia kill in Germany in 2007 where six people died (sorry the link is in Italian but there isn’t an English wiki page, if you look the city up you’ll find something probably) and it was because of the 'ndrangheta.

I’d really like to not get worked over it because it meant it was a thing of the past y'know, but the problem is that it isn’t and I’d rather spread some awareness in hope some of these writers look it up (because it’s a good thing that people know what mafia is since as stated they have tendrils everywhere - if you read Saviano’s book the entire first chapter is about how camorra regularly deals with Chinese import/export in Italy for one) than shrug and figure that since they’ll think everything is good for fanfic then it’s not even worth my time.*

I mean, people here like to shit on the sopranos but that show was actually excellent representation of Horrid Criminals Who Were Never Supposed To Be Good People and the small arc that happened when one of tony’s friends turned out to be gay (closeted) was REALLY well done. btw, it ended that when they found out he was gay most of the crowd rejected him and thought badly of him until I think they killed him also for other reasons, but that spiraled from finding out he liked dick. and that’s american mafia that they actually based on well-done research of the culture in Italy it came from, I assure you that here it doesn’t work that differently. like. the shit above is so inaccurate and frankly offensive, it’s like... What made you sign up to Tumblr? It happened in 8th grade when I was trying to lose weight and followed all the pro-ana blogs and also tracked my progress. I wish I’d known better lol

What did your blog start off as being? Well, as I said, I was tracking my weight loss but it quickly changed into a kpop blog and that’s how I stayed for lots of years tbh

Have you ever received any creepy asks, and if so, what did they say? Lmao yeah the creepiest was this girl fantasizing about me and kyungsoo back when I was into kpop and it was weird af

Have you ever had a bad experience on tumblr? Yeah some chinese girls tracked me down and bullied me bc i would edit photos taken by them

If you had to pick a favourite English monarch, who would you pick? Idk man im not good at this

Do you prefer hot or cold? HOTTT but id rather die by cold

Do you have a phobia of anything? Yeah, i dont like rats, small or crowded places.
