| Steve x Eddie x afab!Reader x Billy
Okay.... I know I said tag teaming between Steddie and their girlfriend but what about if we include Billy?๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ
[This is super rushed but I just wanted to post it</3]
[โœง - nipple sucking, humping, overstimulation(very brief), cum dump elements(also verryyy brief)hickeys,]
Your legs are sprawled open, loads of cum leaking out of your puffy cunt. Billy's lips are attacking yours, while Eddie and Steve take a mound of your tits into their mouth. Eddie's latched to you like a starved man, Steve is playing with you, swirling his tongue around your sensitive perked-up nipple. Your moans are muffled by the kiss, Billy's cock is rubbing against your cum soaked hole, and your clit is overly sensitive.
He's humping you like a dog, his arms trap you beneath his hold, Steve and Eddie gliding their free hand across your body.
Billy pulls away for a split second, looking down to see his leaking precum mix with his other boyfriend's cum.
"Billy," You gasp, "Please fuck me.". Billy smirks, his blue eyes looking deeply into yours.
"Of course you'd beg for it." He teases. Your face flushes red, overheating but still ready and needy for Billy.
"Yes. Please, need it so bad." You beg.
Billy looks over at Eddie and Steve, "Think she deserves it?"
Steve and Eddie look at each other. Before they begin feeling you up again.
"She's been good... real good." Eddie says, nipping lighting at the skin on your tits.
They all look at you then, Billy's cock prodding at your hole. You clench around nothing, your hands fall to your chest, tracing over to deep purple bruises that litter your body.
"C'mon Billyy... want your cum too.." you whimper, thrusting your hips up, showing off Eddie and Steve's work.
How can he say no to that?

Reposting a comment I made on a post and adding to it
x Reader fics need to handle writing โ€œreaderโ€ better sometimes
As a 6ft afab person whoโ€™s built like a man and has never been super feminine and has a more unique haircut thatโ€™s shorter I hate to read about โ€œreadersโ€ petite, small, pale body and her โ€œlong flowy straight hairโ€, etc.
Reader is meant to be ambiguous!! And if itโ€™s important to the plot please mention it at the beginning!!! If itโ€™s not important to the plot why is it being included???
Some people who are reading may be tall, fat, skinny, short, or even somewhere in between. The readers could have a hijab, 4c hair, locks, braids, long hair, short hair, wavy, no hair and even more.
Stop making all readers so sweet and innocent, I want a reader whoโ€™s petty and sassy sometimes. Iโ€™ve noticed also that so many readers are either too baby to do anything or over powered.
Personally I also hate reading about obviously toxic men and relationships that the reader goes back to because they are โ€œso in loveโ€, like no please let me deck that sucker and leave them in the dust and be happier.
Also, if you label your post with the tag โ€œ___ x readerโ€ or titled with โ€œ___ x readerโ€ and then make descriptions and then ADD A NAME!!! Itโ€™s not an x reader fic and I heavily want to block you.
Edit:
Hey hello! I just wanted to add that I heavily respect and love fic writers! So many have a talent that I will never reach or have and I appreciate your content being put out at all! I made this post as a 5 am ramble and was half delirious lol
People can write as they please and Iโ€™ll ignore it if Iโ€™m not interested or Iโ€™ll make slight internal edits to fit me if I am

Lipstick Stains
Tumblr media
Billy Hargrove x Harrington FemReader
Summary: There has been some new gossip floating through Hawkins High. The gossip being that Billy has a lipstick stain that just so happens to match a certain girl's iconic shade.
....................................................................
You were a Harrington. You had a certain standing that you had to keep cause of the expectations of your parents. One of those expectations were not making out with Billy Hargrove in his car in the back of the school parking lot during lunch. But your parents were never home so you didn't really give a damn.
"Billy we have to go back into the school at some point." You said releasing your lips from his. As you tried to pull back he pulled you in for another quick kiss.
"Oh come on, we don't have to." He smirked to you.
"Listen Mr. Bad Boy, I know you don't like school but I have a test." You said to him. He gave you a small pout at your response to which you just laughed at him. "You also messed up my lipstick." You said as you flipped the visor down to use the mirror to reapply your dark red lipstick.
"That's not the only thing I can mess up." He joked. You just gave him the look, he knew the look. It didn't need a name.
"Well Hargrove I have to get going." You brought yourself close to kiss his neck then up to the apple of his freckled cheeks. You collected you things to go back into the school before the bell. Before you shut the door you look back at Billy to see the two kiss marks that you left on him. You just smiled at him.
"Love ya, see you later." You said then shut the door to go to the school.
Billy continued with his day like usual. Thinking that nothing would go out of the ordinary. He knew he was hot shit so people were staring at him as perusal but he didn't know what they were staring at. In each class he had stares his way, to which he had to tell some off for looking too long.
"Nice job man." Tommy Hagan laughed as he patted his back. Billy was just confused about what he was talking about but he continued as nothing was wrong. The bell rang through the halls to signal that the school day was over. Billy made his way to the doors top the parking lot to leave when he saw a certain Steve Harrington staring him down from his locker.
"You got a problem Harrington?" He asked.
"Yeah, not with you though." Steve replied slamming his locker shut to go find a certain sister of his. Billy didn't know that, he was just confused and thought nothing of it. He finally was able to make it to his Camaro to wait for Max. Students around him were still looking at him. Some girls looking in distaste, not at him but at the kiss marks on his cheeks. Some guys were just laugh in congrats to him. Billy just wanted to get the hell out and get Max home so he can go see his girlfriend. Billy looked over to see a certain red head making her way over to his car.
"Get in shit-bird, I got places to be." He said as he got in the drivers seat while Max got in the passenger seat. She just stared at him, more than she would usually. Which is not at all. Billy glanced at her a few times.
"What?" He asked annoyed with her staring.
"What's on your face?" She asked. Billy was confused until he thought back to lunch. He grabbed his sun visor to look himself in the mirror to see the two kiss marks on him. Just as he thought, one on his cheek and the other on his neck. He just laughed what he was looking at.
"Well that explains a Lot." He sighed starting his car to drive away.
Later that day Billy was able to make it to the Harrington house hold. Instead of parking down the street, he parked in the driveway. Instead of climbing through the window of his girlfriends bedroom, he simply knocked the front door of her house. Which, unfortunately, the other Harrington answered. He and Steve just stared at one another for a moment.
"Hargrove."
"Harrington."
"What are you doing here?"
"I think you know why exactly I'm here, or you don't."
"I do know why you're here." Steve stated sternly.
"Then tell me, why am I here?" Billy gabbed at him with a smirk playing on his face.
"Can you guys stop having a dick measuring contest for once." Your voice was heard in a very much over it tone. "Get out of here Steve."
"But-" You stopped him from continuing.
"Eh, I don't wanna hear any more then I already have. You're being a Buttface." You sassed at him. "Now I would like to talk to my boyfriend."
Steve just rolled his eyes and sighed. Walking away from his enemy and his sister in the same door way. You turn your head back to Billy with a grin on your face.
"So what are you doing here, handsome."
"Well, I am here to see my girlfriend that I have to have a small chat about." His voice going a slight octave lower. Something that you loved.
"And what do you have to chat about?" You stilled teased at him.
"Well I made out with this gorgeous woman at lunch, and after I thought my day would go by like usual. But I had people staring at me all day. I didn't know why until I looked into the mirror to find that the exact pretty girl I was kissing left some marks on me." He explained to you. "Now I am at said pretty girls house to get a reason why she did that."
"Well I think she just wanted to have a bit of fun with you, if you ask me."
"Well as much as I love that, I think I would love to have some fun with her right now."
"Well you'er gonna have to wait on that, handsome." You said." Big Bro ain't to happy with me, I've been getting an ear full for the past hour."
"I can wait." He reassured. "I will always wait for you, gorgeous." You just smiled at him and dragged him into your house.
"Is he staying long?" Steve's distant voice was heard.
"Shut up Steve." You yelled out to him. "Like I said, ear full all day."
You and Billy just laughed at the situation. But at least you both can enjoy each others company in the end.
...................................................................
I hope y'all enjoyed this. Sorry if it is short. I know I haven't been to active, writing wise, lately. I'm trying to get through school right now.
I will try to get more out for Boots and Trumpets, and Practically Magic later.
Thank you for reading.

Stranger Things Preferences
Their Pet Name for you.
(Featuring: Steve Harrington, Eddie Munson, Billy Hargrove, Jonathan Byers, Dmitri Antonov, Jim Hopper, Alexei, Murray Bauman, Robin Buckley, Argyle, Henry/001)
Warnings: Mentions of sex. This blog is 18+ Minors do not interact.
A/N: My first preference! There will be quite a few of these across quite a few fandoms so if you'd like to be tagged in future preferences or future stranger things posts please let me know in the comments! :) Also any Russian is taken straight from google translate so pre-apologies if I have butchered it! Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Steve Harrington
Steve keeps his pet names quite generic, baby, babe, sweetheart. It's not so much the names he uses but how he says them. Most of the time he's most comfortable using the shortened version of your name or nickname he has for you, but the amount of affection he would put into it would make you melt. If he's being especially flirtatious you'd even occasionally get doll. He doesn't miss the effect it has on you when he calls you that.
Tumblr media
Eddie Munson
Eddie is as theatrical with his pet names as he is with anything else in life. He loves to call you princess, especially during Hellfire meetings when he can incorporate you into his campaign. I think Eddie would switch between a few pet names to try to keep it interesting, baby, sunshine, sweetheart. It doesn't matter what he calls you it never fails to give you butterflies. Let's not pretend that if you two are hanging out in his trailer while you joke around and play air guitar together that he doesn't call you his little Rockstar.
Tumblr media
Billy Hargrove
Billy's pet names for you depend on two things; his mood, and who you are around. In public you're only getting the less heartfelt pet names, he refers to you as his girl a lot in front of other people. Not only does he love the small smile it brings to your face but it also feeds into his possessive side, knowing that everyone knows you are his. When you two are alone and have been together for a while, Billy finally shoes a softer side of himself. He will compliment you a lot and attach all sort of pet names to those compliments, baby, sugar, sweet thing, still loving to resort to calling you his girl. You're mad at him and he's trying to make it up to you? Get ready for him to bargain his way back into your arms, wrapping his arms around you as he whispers in your ear, "Come on sweetheart, you know you can't stay mad at me."
Tumblr media
Jonathan Byers
This soft, shy, adorable baby will probably be hesitant to use pet names for a long time. I honestly doubt you would hear them until you two begin to get intimate and he's too lost in the moment to think about what he's saying. He's pussy drunk and rambling into your neck, pet names would all be soft and sweet while he's chasing his high, beautiful and sweetheart would be at the top of his list. Getting high in his room? This sweet man would be telling you how you're his sunshine, rambling on in his delirium about how you light up his life.
Tumblr media
Dmitri Antonov
While this man's English is very good, he still prefers to use pet names in Russian. There's something about the way he looks at you with his intense gaze as he slips back into his native tongue that just turns you into an absolute puddle. His favourites include ะบะพั‚ะตะฝะพะบ (kitten) and ะผะพั ะปัŽะฑะพะฒัŒ (my love). The thought of this man holding you while you curl up in bed for the night, arms wrapped around you while he whispers endearing words in Russian into your ear is enough to bring butterflies to your stomach.
Tumblr media
Jim Hopper
Let's not pretend like for a goooooooood while this man affectionately refers to you as kid even if you are barely a few years younger than him. He's a tough shell of a man that will refuse to open up or show his feelings for a long time, but when he does you realise its worth the wait. He doesn't throw around pet names and words of endearment a lot as he prefers to save them for moments when he feels it's right. When it's just the two of you and you're sharing a soft moment, sometimes referring to you as darling in his softer moments. Occasionally you might even get a cheeky baby.
Tumblr media
Alexei
Another Russian baby, this adorable man will always call you pet names in Russian, it doesn't matter how much his English has improved. It just means more to him coming from his native tongue. His regular go to include ะณะพะปัƒะฑัŒ (Dove) and ะผะธะปั‹ะน (Darling). Although, Murray taught him how Americans us Pumpkin as a term of endearment as a way to screw with you both and now it's one of Alexei's favourite things to call you. Jokes on Murray because seeing Alexei's face light up as he reaches for you and calls you pumpkin is enough to fall even more in love with him.
Tumblr media
Murray Bauman
I feel like Murray cannot find it in himself to call you soft names to start off with. He's still confused by the fact that you even want to be with him, he's not going to possibly embarrass himself further using some pet names that might cross some invisible line he's set up for himself. He refers to as lady a lot, or another unique name that fits your looks of personality. Once this man is comfortable and more secure in your relationship I think the names would still stay light and not too sensitive. You would definitely get honey a lot, I don't think Murray would be able to resist yelling through the house when he gets home, "Honey, I'm home!"
Tumblr media
Robin Buckley
Robin would also keep her pet names generic just like her bestie Steve, but less out of originality and more just to play it safe. Robin would have some insecurities going into a relationship after all the careful steps she took just to get to where you two are now. She is hesitant at first to say the wrong thing so she sticks to a lot of sweetheart and babe. One day you were spending time together and she slipped up and called you buttercup. She panicked for a second worrying what you would think of the nickname, but seeing your smile wiped all of those worries away and it became one of her favourite pet names so far.
Tumblr media
Argyle
Okay so we all know this cutie is not going to call you any conventional pet names unless he's sober which is not very often. You're going to get a lot of my dude and bro but he does really mean it affectionately with you. Other than that you're definitely going to get a lot of made up names that mean absolutely nothing but to him they mean a lot; wicked lady, cream puff, anything. He would totally refer to you as "my queen" when he lets you into the van which he refers to as your chariot. Your favourite pet name would be the time he said, "My pretty girl is gonna get all the pizza she wants" he couldn't understand your reaction as you couldn't think of what to say next after hearing Argyle call you his pretty girl.
Tumblr media
Henry/001
I whole heartedly believe this man would refer to you as pet. He does mean it endearingly but he also can't resist how you scrunch your nose up at hearing the teasing term. He also uses a lot of "My little..." whether it be bird, bunny, dove. He constantly feels the need to protect you and he shows that in his terms of endearment by referring to you as small and innocent. I know this man would call you his good girl, and you will have to pry that thought out of my cold dead hands.
A/N: Hope you guys like this! Reminder that if you want to be tagged in future Stranger things posts or other preferences to let me know in the comments and ill create a tags list :)

Y'all literally write fanfics like you're men. How is it that in your own fantasy world, you're not getting pleasure from it? With every reader x character, it's you pleasuring the character. Women write fanfics like how men view porn.
You're so feminist that even in your own fantasies, you think that you are ugly and that this character would never want you. So unless they're degrading, using, and beating you. That's the only true way you think that they could ever desire you.
I'm not even going to get started on the of-age-reader x underage characters because if I need to tell you why that's wrong, you need to be put on a watch list.

LOVER BOY.
dating eddie munson headcanons
Tumblr media
SUMMARY โ€” relationship eddie headcanons
A/N โ€” i just wanna say a quick thank you to everyone who liked my other eddie headcanons post, i wasn't expecting all the love, but i appreciate it immensely :))
MASTERLIST | STRANGER THINGS | BACK
Tumblr media
when he likes someone, he thinks he's being really subtle, but he's not
him, a stuttering, nervous wreck; "uh hey, cool shirt"
you, deadpan; "it's your shirt, that you gave me to wear, because you thought i'd look cute in it"
always tries to impress you in silly ways
"wanna see how fast i can run?"
"bet i can jump and hit that sign without running"
"i caught you a squirrel because you said they were cute that one time"
is touch starved
as such, he will always be touching you in some capacity; hand on your knee while in class, hand on your thigh or fingers interlaced with yours while driving, he will sit on you if there's nowhere for him.
when you hug him, kiss him, or cuddle with him he will hold on and refuse to let you go until you're late, like really late, you'd have to leave ten minutes ago late.
is big on pet names when you're alone, but mostly calls you by your last name or a shortened version of your name when in public
he's big on baby, sweetheart, dollface.
angel and prince/princess are reserved for when he's fucked up royally, or you're sad or sleepy.
will touch everything you own
perfume/cologne sitting on your dresser? sprayed himself in the face with it the first time he picked it up, but really liked how it smelled so he puts a spitz on every time you leave him alone in your room. just spent the day at the pool and he needs to shower at yours? he will use your shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and even your deodorant "do you want me to stink? :(". every time he comes in he finds something new to play with. old stuffie under your bed? he's carrying it around/hugging it/holding it until he leaves. trinkets on the top of your bed frame? he'll make them talk to each other when he's bored.
has a hard time sleeping when you're not close
he and sleep have rarely ever been on the same page, so he finds things to do to occupy his time, so when he's in a relationship that usually means he's dragging you along with him; be it going for a swim at 2am at lovers lake, a quick trip to the gas for snacks, or just straight up falling ungracefully through your window and crawling into bed with you to try and grab a couple hours of sleep (while simultaneously scaring the shit out of you because you were already sleeping).
because of the above, he will constantly nap around you while you're hanging out
you're his safe space, he spends most of his time in your presence passed out; laying on his back on the floor with his legs tossed over the side of your bed with his feet tucked under your thigh while you study, arms crossed over his chest while you're head's in his lap as you read out loud to him โ€“ he swears he's awake but every so often he lets out a soft snore, sitting on the couch watching a romcom with his head on your shoulder as he struggles to keep his eyes open, literally any time you touch his head/hair he's out like a light.
100% is glued to your side and tells everyone you're his best friend as well as his gf/bf
he goes on errands with you and spends 99% of his free time with you, he drags you along to band practice โ€” which you usually use as an opportunity to feed baked goods to his bandmates (who absolutely adore you for it), when he's working you usually sit around with him passing him tools as he needs them โ€” "uh need 9/16 wrenchโ€“" and it's already in your hand like you read his mind.
when you're not around, brags about you to anyone who will listen to him, and carries a picture (that he switches out for newer ones he takes) of you in his wallet that he shows off constantly โ€” "look how cute they are" "my girlfriend/boyfriend is hotter".
writes songs about you
sometimes he'll write them just for himself, or for your ears only recording them on a tape just for you to have a reminder of how much he loves you.
you better believe that wayne loves you for being a good influence on him
you make him eat all breakfast, lunch & dinner โ€” before you he would forget to eat and usually pumped himself full of caffeine only, you get him a reuseable water bottle (which you bribe him to carry it around and actually drink from it) โ€” to his credit he now drinks at least one full bottle, you make him wear sunscreen & a hat on sunny days, waterproof footwear and jacket on rainy/snowy days (he's shocked when he doesn't get sick as often).
at first wayne was wary of you, unsure of whether your intentions were genuine or if you were going to pull one over on eddie โ€” which disappeared the first time he came home from work and saw you too cuddled up on the couch watching one of eddie's favourite movies (it was the way you were staring at him as he shared his favourite parts or something he read about it, or a fact about the filming/production โ€” wayne tells this story at your wedding all teary eyed about his eddie being all grown up and so very obviously loved).
takes photos of you all the time
cutesy date night photos, spicy half-naked photos (or just straight up naked naked), you sleeping, you making an ugly face, you mid-sneeze, you smiling, he has it all caught on film and he loves each and every photo so much.
total softie for you and you alone
you've gotten him to do things he's straight up refused to do for his friends, and even wayne
does literally anything you ask, and even sometimes you don't have to ask, he just does it because he knows it'll make you happy and that's all he strives for, you being happy.

Sitting On Their Lap
Tumblr media
Eddie:ย "Woah-" He'd chuckle. Immediately, his hands instinctively went to your waist, sitting you down on his thighs completely. "You're being cute again.." He'd tease, smiling warmly in your direction as his hands slipped down towards your thighs, gently rubbing up and down your sides lovingly
Gareth:ย Heโ€™d smile and immediately put his arm around you, pulling you a bit closer as his other hand slides down your hip. Heโ€™d love your hair in his face and your warmth against him.
Steve:ย He'd definitely be surprised at first. He'd chuckle softly before wrapping his arms around your hips and pulling you a little closer against him. Then he'd look at you with a cheeky smile. "Now, what do we have here?"
Robin:ย she'd have a surprised/flushed look on her face until she realized it was you. After that, she would wrap her arms around you and pull you closer. She'd ask, "And what is this for?"
Nancy:ย Sheโ€™d gasp and be surprised, but then, sheโ€™d smile. She'd wrap her arms around your waist and pull you against her chest, and bury her face into your hair.
Jonathan:ย โ€œHey woah, hi to you too, love.โ€ Heโ€™d smile up at you, his hands landing on your hips before theyโ€™d wrap gently around your torso, securing your position on his lap in place. Heโ€™d let out a content sigh from your proximity, taking comfort in your weight on top and pressing closer against you. โ€œWhatโ€™d I do to earn the honor of being used as your personal chair?โ€
Argyle:ย He immediately stopped what he was doing and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you close so your back was pressed tightly against his chest. He could feel the heat radiating from you. โ€œHey.โ€ He said with a grin.
Billy:ย He was surprised a bit but smiled at you. He wrapped his muscular arms around your body and pulled you close into a hug, his muscular chest pressed against your back. "Hey, you." He said and chuckled softly in your ear. He let one hand wander down your side until it rested on your thigh.
Henry:ย He would be surprised first and look at you with a suprised expression, but after that it would probably just make him smile as he would wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him. He might also bury his face into your hair and place a small kiss on your neck.

Undercover Connection.
Billy hargrove x mechanic! male reader.
Tumblr media
You, a senior in highschool works at Hawkins local mechanic shop, where Billy brings his Camaro for repair after a particularly reckless night. But your calm demeanor intrigues him.
CW: strong language, mild violence, implied abuse, smoking, emotional vulnerability, tense situations, minor injury(s), soft romance.
word count: 3,163
Tumblr media
Sometimes the people you meet are a blessing or a lesson learned.
You were quiet but you were also skilled. This is how you got a part-time job at the Hawkins mechanic. Being reliable and skillful was rare, like a blessing.
People knew you were reliable with cars, and also keeping things to yourself. Preferring the quiet hum of engines over the noise of high school drama.
Your quiet demeanor is nothing compared to Billy Hargrove. He was hot-headed. Unbearable. Reckless. You two were complete opposites.
It was a Friday after school, the sun was hotter than usual. It felt unbearable, every sweat that went down your face felt like a bullet. Your face read nothing, like it always was.
But your brain was a jumple of thoughts clashing into each other.
You were working on an old pick up truck. You were too busy on tightening the bolt on the old pick up truck.
As you were too focused on working on the truck, the bell above the garage door jingles sharply, cutting through the rhythmtic hum of tools and clanking metal.
You notice Billy Hargrove stride in. But your attention was focused on working on the truck. Why should you give all of your attention on some dick head at school? Yes, Billy Hargrove was very pretty. His plump lips wrapped around his cigarette made you question things.
But that doesn't make up the fact he's a reckless selfish dick.
Billy's usual cocky smirk was plastered all over his face. Even though there was a flicker of annoyance in his eyes. His Camaro sat just outside, steam rising faintly from the hood, a testament from his reckless driving.
Behind the counter, you barely glanced up, you were busy with the truck. The sound of heavy boots approaching didn't faze you.
"If you're here for a quick fix, you're out of luck. I'm the only one working today, and I've got three cars ahead of yours."
This catches Billy's attention, making the curly head pause by the indifferent tone. Most people in Hawkins either flinch or try to hard to please him, but you? You don't even seem to care.
"Yeah well, my car's not exactly running right now, so you'll have to make time. Can't have Hawkins' bad boy walking everywhere, can we?" Billy sharply said as he leaned against the counter, smirking.
This makes you finally look up, raising a eyebrow as he takes in the sight of Billy. The infamous mullet that is a dirty blonde color, leather jacket, fluffy curls, pretty blue eyes, and a perpetual smirk. Everything about him just screams trouble.
You can tell he is obviously impatient.
You spoke up dryly, "Bad boy or not, your Camaro is not special. You're getting in line like everyone else." You said as you rolled your eyes in annoyance. He was starting to get on your nerves.
"What, you don't think my 'baby deserves VIP treatment?" Billy responsed to you, in a mocking tone.
You shrugged and turned back to the truck, "Your 'baby' looks like it got into a fight with a tree." You mocked at Billy back.
"Be glad I'm not telling you to scrap it." Billy just rolled his eyes at your mocking. He let out a sharp laugh, more genuine than he expected. He steps closer, peering over your shoulder as you worked.
"What's your deal, huh? You always this charming, or just saving it for me?"
"Just for you. Now either tell me what's wrong with your Camaro or find another shop." You said as you were still focused.
Billy felt his eyes narrow in response, but he doesn't argue. He's not used to being brushed off like this, and he isn't sure if this annoys him or intrigues him.
Billy started to grumble. "Engines overheating. Won't stay running for more than five minutes."
As Billy said this, you finally set down your wrench, wiping your hands on a rag in a fast motion. You step out behind the counter, motioning for Billy to follow him to the car.
"Pop the hood. Let's see if I can save this piece of junk."
Billy watches you approach the Camaro with ease that rivals his own confidence. For the first time in a while, Billy feels like he's not the one in control, and he's not sure if he minds it.
The Camaroโ€™s hood is popped, and the garage is filled with the faint smell of oil and overheated metal. You leaned over the engine, flashlight in hand, while Billy stands off to the side, arms crossed and eyes fixed on the scene in front of him.
โ€œWhenโ€™s the last time you checked the coolant?โ€ You said as you were focused on the engine.
Billly shrugged again in response, โ€œWhat, you think I keep track of that stuff?โ€
You smirked faintly. โ€œYeah, I can tell. This thingโ€™s running on fumes and bad decisions.โ€ You responded, amused.
Billy raises an eyebrow, leaning casually against the workbench, Billy grinned.
โ€œYouโ€™re real mouthy for a mechanic.โ€
You shot Billy a glance
โ€œYouโ€™re real cocky for someone who canโ€™t keep his car running.โ€
Billy lets out a short laugh at you, surprised by the quick comeback. He picks up a wrench from the workbench, spinning it in his hand absentmindedly.
โ€œYou always this pleasant, or is it just my lucky day?โ€
โ€œDepends. You always this much of a pain?โ€ You added as you returned to the engine, not missing a beat
Billy chuckles, the sound low and genuine, and for a moment, thereโ€™s an unspoken truce in the air. He watches as you methodically works on his car, the faint glow of the flashlight catching on the streaks of grease smudged across their cheek.
Your hair sat perfectly on you as you worked effortlessly on his car. How could someone look great while having such a, dirty job?
Billy paused for a while, โ€œYouโ€™re good at this.โ€
You glanced up at him, startled by the unexpected compliment. But then you shrugged.
โ€œHad to be. This town doesnโ€™t exactly offer much else.โ€
Billy shifts, his cocky demeanor fading slightly.
โ€œTell me about it.โ€ Billy added as he leaned against his car.
The garage falls into a quiet rhythm the hum of tools, the faint tapping of raindrops starting to hit the roof, and the occasional creak of the workbench as Billy leans against it.
After a while, Billy breaks the silence.
โ€œYou ever think about leaving? Like, just packing up and getting the hell out of here?โ€
You started to pause, glancing at Billy.
โ€œSure. All the time. But itโ€™s not that simple, is it?โ€ You said as you looked straight at him.
Billy meets your gaze, something vulnerable flickering in your eyes.
โ€œNo. Itโ€™s not.โ€ Billy responded softly.
Thereโ€™s a weight to his words, a quiet desperation that you recognize but doesnโ€™t push. Instead, they offer a small, knowing smile and return to the task at hand.
โ€œWell, if you ever figure out a way, let me know. I could use a ride out of here too.โ€ You added as you chuckled.
Billy doesnโ€™t respond right away, but the corner of his mouth twitches upward.
โ€œYeah. Maybe.โ€ Billy said as he quieted down.
The moment lingers, and for the first time, Billy feels like someone understands what heโ€™s been carrying.
โ€”-
Over the past few days, Billy returns to the shop under the pretense of checking his car, though it's pretty clear he just wants an excuse to talk to you.
You're guys' conversations start out casual but then gradually start to turn more personal. And you start to notice that Billy begins to let his guard down. Which surprises' you.
The big bad boy starting to be vulnerable to you? And you guys aren't even friends..
The rain has grown heavier, pounding against the roof of the garage in a steady rhythm. You start wiping grease from your hands with a rag while Billy sits on the workbench, idly spinning a screwdriver in his fingers. The Camaro is still half-repaired, but the tools have been set aside for the night.
It is a Tuesday after school, and a storm started not too long ago.
โ€œGuess youโ€™re stuck here for a bit. That stormโ€™s not letting up anytime soon.โ€ You broke the ice as you glanced at the rain.
Billy leans back and faintly smirks. โ€œWhat, you offering to babysit me now?โ€
You shrug, leaning against the counter โ€œJust saying. Unless you wanna swim home, you might as well get comfortable.โ€
Billy chuckles softly, but it doesnโ€™t carry the usual bite. For a moment, he just watches the rain, his expression uncharacteristically thoughtful.
โ€œYโ€™knowโ€ฆ sometimes I think about driving until I run out of gas. Justโ€ฆ keep going until Iโ€™m somewhere else.โ€ Billy said quietly.
You start to study him, sensing the weight behind the words.
โ€œWhatโ€™s stopping you?โ€
Billyโ€™s jaw tightens, and he looks away, gripping the edge of the bench.
โ€œNeil.โ€ Billy pauses, then adds bitterly, โ€œAnd all the other crap tying me to this place.โ€
You decide not to push, recognizing the name as Billyโ€™s stepfather. Instead, you let the silence stretch, giving Billy space to continue if he wants.
Billy broke the long pause
โ€œItโ€™s likeโ€ฆ no matter how hard I try to get ahead, heโ€™s always there to remind me Iโ€™m nothing.โ€
You cross the room and lean against the bench beside him, your shoulder just brushing Billyโ€™s.
โ€œYouโ€™re not nothing. He just wants you to believe that so you donโ€™t fight back.โ€ You said softly.
Billy looks at you sharply, his defenses rising instinctively, but you don't flinch. Your calm, steady gaze unnerves him in a way he doesnโ€™t understand.
Billy scoffs.โ€œWhat do you know about it?โ€
โ€œMore than you think.โ€ You responded as you shrugged.
Billy opens his mouth to retort but stops himself. Thereโ€™s something in your tone an unspoken understanding that keeps him from snapping back. Instead, he sighs, running a hand through his hair.
โ€œWhy are you even talking to me? Most people either hate me or keep their distance.โ€
You started to grin.โ€œMaybe Iโ€™m not most people.โ€
Billy huffs a laugh, shaking his head, but the tension in his shoulders eases slightly.
โ€œYouโ€™re weird.โ€ Billy said muttering.
You started to smirk.
โ€œTakes one to know one.โ€
The rain continues to fall, and for a moment, the only sound is the rhythmic drumming on the roof. You lean your head back against the wall, glancing sideways at Billy.
โ€œYouโ€™re allowed to let your guard down, yโ€™know. At least for a little while.โ€ You spoke up gently.
Billy meets your gaze, something vulnerable flickering in his eyes. He wants to argue, to brush off the comment, but instead, he just nods slightly.
Billy decided to speak up, barely above a whisper. โ€œMaybe.โ€
The moment hangs in the air, charged but quiet. Billyโ€™s usual bravado is gone, replaced by something raw and real.
"Here." You said as took out something out of your jeans pockets. It was a pack of cigarettes. This catches Billy's attention as you also pull out a lighter.
As Billy watches you light the cigarette, he also watches as you press the cigarette to your lips. Making Billy feel something weird inside of him. It felt like his body was on fire. A fire that he could not put out.
His gaze starts to linger on you. There was a fleeting moment of unspoken attraction.
As the silence continues, Billy stares into your eyes as you stare into his pretty blue ones. You looked at Billy fondly as you puffed smoke out of your lips.
Billy then snatched the cigarette out of your hands, looking at your beautiful (color) eyes as he took a drag. This sudden movement catches you off guard, but in a good way. It felt like he set something off in you.
Your left hand goes and twirls in Billy's dirty blonde curls. Watching him take more drags on your cigarette, making you grin for a second.
The silence was loud, but it felt amazing.
--
The rain has slowed to a steady drizzle, but neither of them has made a move to leave the garage. Billy sits on the edge of the workbench, fiddling with a lighter he pulled from his jacket pocket. You lean against the counter across from him, arms crossed as you watch Billy with quiet curiosity.
You decide to break the silence. โ€œSo, whatโ€™s your plan? Gonna sit there all night, or are you actually gonna say whatโ€™s on your mind?โ€
Billy glances up sharply, the lighter snapping shut in his hand.
โ€œWho says anythingโ€™s on my mind?โ€
โ€œYour whole vibe, Hargrove. Youโ€™re like a radio stuck on static.โ€ You said smirking faintly.
Billy huffs a laugh, shaking his head.
โ€œYouโ€™re real funny, yโ€™know that?โ€
You shrug โ€œI try.โ€
Thereโ€™s a beat of silence before Billy speaks again, his voice softer this time.
โ€œItโ€™s justโ€ฆ different, alright? Most people look at me and either hate my guts or try to get something out of me. But you? You donโ€™t even flinch. Why?โ€ Billy said as he looked at you, confused.
You start to tilt your head, studying him for a moment.
โ€œBecause I donโ€™t think the guy you show everyone else is the real you. Youโ€™re just good at pretending.โ€ You responded calmly.
Billy freezes, the lighter in his hand forgotten. He looks away, his jaw tightening.
Billy spoke up defensely. โ€œYou donโ€™t know me.โ€
โ€œNo. But I want to.โ€
Billyโ€™s head snaps back toward you, his eyes searching your face for any sign of mockery. But all he finds is quiet sincerity, and it throws him off balance.
Billy gruffed, โ€œYouโ€™re crazy, you know that?โ€
This just made you grin in response.
โ€œProbably.โ€
The tension between you too is palpable now, the air thick with unspoken words. Billy fidgets with the lighter again, his usual cocky demeanor slipping further away.
Billy started to hesitate.
โ€œI donโ€™tโ€ฆ I donโ€™t know how to do this. The wholeโ€ฆ opening up thing.โ€
You step closer, closing the space between the two of you. You lean against the workbench beside Billy, their shoulder brushing his.
โ€œYou donโ€™t have to figure it out all at once. Justโ€ฆ start with what youโ€™re feeling right now.โ€ You added, gently.
Billyโ€™s gaze drops to the floor, his fingers tightening around the lighter.
Billy responded quietly, โ€œI feel like Iโ€™m falling apart. Like Iโ€™m trying so damn hard to hold everything together, but itโ€™s never enough.โ€
You didn't say anything right away, letting Billyโ€™s words hang in the air. Instead, you reach out and place a hand on his, stopping the nervous movement of the lighter.
โ€œYouโ€™re stronger than you think, Billy. You just donโ€™t have to do it alone anymore.โ€ You said with a firm tone.
Billyโ€™s breath catches, his usual mask cracking wide open. He turns to face you fully, his blue eyes flickering with a mix of uncertainty and something deeper.
Billy, almost whispered, โ€œWhy do you care?โ€
โ€œBecause I see you. The real you."
Billy saw you smile faintly.
The words hang between you two for a moment before Billy leans in, hesitating just inches away from you.
โ€œTell me to stop.โ€ Billy said softly.
You met his gaze. โ€œIโ€™m not gonna.โ€
Thatโ€™s all the permission Billy needs. He closes the gap, his lips crashing against you in a kiss thatโ€™s both desperate and tender. For a moment, the world outside the garageโ€”the rain, the town, everythingโ€”fades away.
When you two pull back, Billyโ€™s breathing is unsteady, his forehead resting against your own.
โ€œYouโ€™re trouble, you know that?โ€ Billy said quietly.
You just grinned at this.
โ€œTakes one to know one.โ€
Billy laughs softly, his hand still lingering on theirs. For the first time in what feels like forever, he feels grounded.
---
Days have past and the rain has stopped, and the first hints of dawn are peeking over the horizon. The garage is quiet except for the occasional clink of tools as you finish tightening the last bolt on Billyโ€™s Camaro. Billy leans against the car, watching them with an expression thatโ€™s unusually soft.
You, wiping your hands on a rag speaks up,
โ€œAlright, sheโ€™s good to go. Donโ€™t push her too hard, though. Sheโ€™s not as indestructible as you think.โ€
โ€œYou talking about the car or me?โ€. Billy responded to you as he smirked.
You grinned.
โ€œBoth.โ€
Billy laughs, a sound that feels lighter than usual, and you canโ€™t help but smile back. For a moment, the two of you just stand there, the silence comfortable.
โ€œYou didnโ€™t have to do all this, yโ€™know.โ€ Billy said quietly as this catches you off guard but you shrug.
โ€œYeah, well, maybe I wanted to.โ€
Billy steps closer, his hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket.
โ€œWhy?โ€ Billy said softly.
You paused for a moment, meeting his gaze.
โ€œBecause I think thereโ€™s more to you than what everyone sees. And becauseโ€ฆ I care about you, even if you think you donโ€™t deserve it.โ€
Billyโ€™s expression falters, vulnerability flickering across his face.
โ€œYou donโ€™t know how much I needed to hear that.โ€ Billy added as he almost whispered.
You reach out, brushing your fingers against his.
โ€œWell, youโ€™re gonna hear it again. And again. As many times as it takes.โ€
Billy exhales sharply, almost like a laugh, and squeezes their hand.
โ€œYouโ€™re too good for me, you know that?โ€ Billy said as he looked into your eyes, smiling. A genuine smile.
You grinned at this.
โ€œYouโ€™re probably right. But Iโ€™m not going anywhere, so youโ€™re stuck with me.โ€
Billy shakes his head, a small, genuine smile tugging at his lips.
โ€œGuess Iโ€™ll have to make it worth your while, then.โ€
The Camaro gleams under the faint light of the garage as Billy pulls the keys from his pocket and tosses them in the air.
โ€œCโ€™mon. Get in.โ€ Billy said smiling
You raised an eyebrow โ€œWhat?โ€
โ€œYou said you wanted out of this town, right? Letโ€™s go. Just for a drive.โ€ Billy said as he stared right into your pretty eyes.
You start to hesitate for a moment, surprised by the offer, but then you smile and grab your jacket.
โ€œAlright, but if your car breaks down again, youโ€™re the one fixing it this time.โ€
Billy grinned. โ€œDeal.โ€
You climb into the Camaro, the engine roaring to life as Billy revs it. You glance over at him, the streetlights reflecting in his eyes, and for the first time, Billy looks free.
As they pull out of the garage and onto the open road, the town fades into the background. The sky is painted with streaks of orange and pink, and the cool morning air rushes in through the windows.
You smiled, โ€œWhere are we going?โ€
Billy glanced over at you. โ€œAnywhere but here.โ€
You lean back in the seat, the weight of the night lifting as they drive toward an uncertain future together.

Tumblr media
Steve: It's a really simple moment. You're with everyone just gathered at Steve's house for a movie night. Steve is sharing the couch with you, and he'd been doing a good job of ignoring that fact until your head rests on his shoulder with a gentle thud. You fell asleep and you curl up by his side. He's terrified to move, not wanting to disturb and risk ending this moment. He tries to remain completely still, except when he lifts his arm to wrap around your shoulder- of course you sleep through it. Having you so close to him, knowing you feel safe and comfortable enough around him to fall asleep- he's a goner.
Eddie: You match his energy, and you aren't afraid to argue with him. Heated debates about literally anything- usually something pointless. You don't stand down either, no matter how ridiculous it gets. He even just likes to get you riled up so he can get a reaction out of you- he loved seeing you so fired up. One night, the movie you both watching is paused because Eddie made a bogus claim the actor was in another movie- he wasn't. You're arguing, talking with your hands frantically to prove your point and you don't even catch on that he's stopped caring and he's just watching you with a smirk on his lips. He just loved you so much.
Gareth: You'd been dating for a couple of months. After dinner together, you end up walking into the record store. You're in the next row across from him- just mindlessly looking through the selection. He watches your eyes light up when you find a record you already own, but love- just happy to stumble across it out and about. It makes his heart skip, and he realizes that he wants you to share things you love with him all the time- for the rest of his life.
Jonathan: When you aren't paying attention, Jonathan loves to take candid photos of you. There's a time you're both at Lover's Lake and you're skipping rocks. Looking at you through his camera, it kind of just hits him all at once. You look over and smile for the photo and it's his favorite photo he's ever taken. After that, you can tell something changed between the two of you. He finally confesses his feelings after months of pining and you start dating immediately afterwards.
Argyle: You're sitting with him in the back of the delivery van after your shift. There's already a large cloud of smoke that has engulfed the two of you. Through the haze that has pleasantly taken over his brain, he watches you- your skillful hands rolling another joint for the two of you to share. His mouth hangs open slightly watching as you bring it to your lips, your mouth opening just enough to poke your tongue out so you can seal it. It's probably the hottest thing he's ever seen and he immediately just falls for you in that moment.
Billy: You're laying on your stomach on his unmade bed. You're flipping through one of your notebooks, trying to study. He's laying on his side, kissing your shoulder and rubbing your back- wanting your attention and pouting he needs to compete with your homework. He observes you read behind those beautiful lashes of his, and he loves the way you face looks when you're concentrating and focused. Despite that, he still wants to toss the book on the floor and kiss you stupid, but he'll wait because he knows it's important to you to do well on this test. His resolve doesn't last long, but he does try to be good- because he loves you.
