CPN : snow heart, skiing, voice messages & thinking of each other. 💛💌💭
This is my version of how various events connect to one of the most loved bxg candy. @untamedconnotations already talked about it before over here. I feel like everyone knows this already but I just need a play by play and to see if there are more clues. Again. This is CPN. ⛔️
PART I. DC Wrap party
youtube
Douluo Continent held their wrap party, 7/3/2019 and it gave way to one of people’s favorite video of GG. Xiao laoshi looking up the sky and watching some fireworks, celebrating with the cast and chilling. It’s like he’s still filming and is the main character when he was just being his normal self. Fans gave comments when this video started going around such as :
"He is lonelier than fireworks, with stars in his eyes"
“The final video after Douluo ends, Xiao Zhan looks at the smoke in the crowd fire. The surroundings were very lively and the fireworks were dazzling. But he seems to be an island. What was he thinking at that time? How much effort and hardship he has put in for his dream.”
and yes I must admit it was a sight to see. He looked like a mix of lonely, hopeful and content. but was he really ‘alone’ in this moment? Well here comes the important of our CPN : at some point, He looked at his phone— listened to a voice message + recorded one himself. All of these wrap up fireworks and stuff were happening at around 8:50 PM. If you watch the fancam, what makes it more endearing is how he smiled softly while using his phone. So it makes it more 👀.
(original video source of this GIF is here)
Who is he talking to???
Well, the same day, an episode of CQL was airing and they both posted about it. GG even tagged Web. Now look at the time, before the whole fireworks thing— Web already posted and he was at work too. Then, 20:54 minutes after the fireworks started, GG forwarded a post. Remember at this time, they don’t have ‘studios’ to do this kind of work for them. They had to do the interaction themselves. Yes they have an assistant but not a ‘team’ like they do now. So with this, It’s not a stretch to think that these two probably had a conversation going on. Did Web see GG tagged him and thought— well, let me send him something. Let me show zhan-ge what i’m up to now.
after this fireworks display and voice messages he continued on and made this heart gesture 👇🏼. This is the last part of the fancam.
Why did he do that, why a heart in particular?
The next part of this story might give us a clue.
PART II. Extreme Youth episode 9 ( Skiing )
On the other side is WYB at work ( 7/3 - 7/4 2019 ) and shooting an episode of EY. How do we know this? It was posted.
“Variety show "Extreme Youth" on the 3rd and 4th Jiangbei Sunac Park recording, guests include Cheng Xiao, Wang Luodan, Wang Yibo”
So, WYB was carving a heart made out of snow. Unprompted. There was no challenge or whatever that instructed him to make one. He was just there, minding his own business and making his masterpiece carefully. ❄️🤍
After that, he goes out of frame and the segment continues. People on the barrage/live comments were actually asking where is he. Some even commenting maybe he was still playing with that heart made of snow.
Where is he. What is he doing.
If you’re asking a clown, he took a photo of the heart and sent it to GG. We know WYB is someone who is particular with how he takes photos ( as evidenced below). So he probably stepped out, took his time to snap a photo and sent a message. If you add GG making that heart sign as well then what are the chances of these 2 people doing a 🤍 sign between a close span of time. Coincidence? Also, you have this video (1:26) where a staff was caught saying what sounds like “xz” in the segment after the skiing portion. Take it or leave it. This is not the first time each other’s name were caught in places where they shouldn’t be.
The master photographer Yibo everyone,
The episode is below if you wanna see. Not subbed tho.
youtube
Part III. Other Clues and connections
A. The Day after - 7/4/2019
GG posted a variety of photos and with selfies. What seems to be out of place is a Dog. Who is gouzaizai? Well. The same one who wears a bone necklace all the time. 🦴 Yibo also posted showing him skating and continuing on with his shoot.
B. Their wish to ski together & Bobo necklace
• This one is a CLUE. In this SINA interview at 6:19, they start talking about their plans to go skiing. How it started since last year, but then Bobo said he went skiing first and that he SENT A PICTURE. Does this confirm our speculations or what? At the very least, it confirms they send photos to each other of what they are doing. They have that communication open.
• GG said it himself in a separate interview. They both had plans to ski and hopefully if they have time, they will. Some long time fans even said it was not usual for GG to share things like this but he did.
• Another example was this interview ( same one with zgsg )
“what are your thoughts if a variety show arrange for both of you to ski together?”
xiao zhan & yibo: wah~ can!
yibo: i’ll teach him
xz: forget about it
yb: why not?
xz: you just know how to ski not long ago?
yb: then do you know ‘falling leaf’?
xiao zhan: is it just snowboarding?
yibo: yup. the most basic is “falling leafs”
xz: you already said it’s the most basic
yb: yup
xz: can can. no problem
translation source.
• Qeelin skiing necklace that GG wore during promotions and even after. I talked more about Qeelin here and it’s significance if you have no idea why it’s important.
In an episode of TTXS, he also said he wanted to Ski. Even last year, in his fanmeet Bobo mentioned wanting to ski even if it wasn’t one of the choices. Plus his not-really-a-selfie selfie this year. I can go on and on, it’s so obvious that it’s what they both want to do together. That if one is doing it, he’ll definitely tell the other. My CPN brain tells me this is not limited to skiing topics. They will send each other photos ( or videos ) of what they are doing.
C. Both of them likes making voice messages
We first see this in the Yibo’s 21st birthday video where Web is recording one. Yin zheng also once posted a voice message sent by WYB about his moto riding but what later deleted. He uses it himself instead of typing things out ( said in an interview ). I can’t find ones for GG except for that video and we have limited fancams of him actually using his phone post his CQL popularity. It’s just so personal, sending a voice message. I’m jealous. Lol. Photos and Video are one thing, but to have voice clips of your s/o is something else. I am happy with candies like this cause it shows how willing they are to stay connected. And to think it’s not just them talking about their day but imagine GG singing and sending it to WYB. Ah. 😭😭😭
Bonus: Fake rumor that GG was talking to someone on the phone, post Web’s moto accident. He was saying “be worthy of your heart”. Who knows if he was actually talking or he can also be recording a voice message right? 🎤
Yibo and his 🤍 fixation + GG following suit with that requires a whole different post altogether. However a few examples would be : heart shape @ loreal fanmeet, heart in the water @ summer surf shop, their own uniq finger heart sign for each other, GG’s valentines day drawing etc etc. It is a recurring theme.
PART IV. Conclusion
I have always been a believer of this CPN and this is really just for me to have it on my blog. I cannot NOT have this special candy discussed. At the end of the day, we’re all just speculating. Whether you believe they were talking to each other that night or that they are in a romantic relationship, I think it’s clear that there is/was something. No one can deny that. && BXGs will always be here for them.

There are 19 types of smile but only six are for happiness
By Zaria Gorvett , 10th April 2017
Full article below
:readmore:
Our grins are not as simple as they seem. There are a myriad different ways to smile – and some of them can conceal some less than happy feelings.
As they hovered over their victims, knives at the ready, Carney Landis issued his instructions. The beheading was ready to commence.
It was 1924 and this particularly sadistic grad student had lured an assortment of fellow pupils, teachers and psychology patients – including a 13-year-old boy – into a room at the University of Minnesota.
To put his subjects at ease he had redecorated, concealing laboratory equipment, draping cloth over the windows and hanging paintings on the walls.
Landis wanted to know if certain experiences, such as pain or shock, always elicited the same facial expressions. And he was prepared to inflict them in order to find out. He sat his subjects down in comfortable chairs, then painted lines on their faces so that he could better see their grimaces.
In Western cultures smiley faces tend to focus on the mouth, as opposed to the eyes (Credit: Flickr/Alisha Vargas CC BY 2.0)
Over the course of three hours, they were repeatedly photographed while being subjected to a series of bizarre and unpleasant pranks, including placing fireworks under their seats and electrocuting their hands while they felt around in a bucket of slimy frogs. The climax came when he fetched a live white rat on a tray and asked them to cut off its head with a butcher’s knife.
Landis’ methods were certainly unethical, but perhaps the most uneasy revelation was what he discovered. Even during the most violent tasks, the most common reaction wasn’t to cry or rage – it was to smile. He wrote: “So far as this experiment goes I have found no expression other than a smile, which was present in enough photographs to be considered as typical of any situation.”
What was going on?
The dark origins of smiling
Fast-forward to 2017 and we’re head-over-heels for this simple reflex. Today reminders to ‘smile’ are ubiquitous, printed on fridge magnets, adverts, self-help books and occasionally hurled at us by well-meaning strangers. Those who smile often are thought of as more likeable, competent, approachable, friendly and attractive.
But the truth is far more sinister. Of 19 different types of smile, only six occur when we’re having a good time. The rest happen when we’re in pain, embarrassed, uncomfortable, horrified or even miserable. A smile may mean contempt, anger or incredulity, that we’re lying or that we’ve lost.
True ‘felt’ smiles were first discovered by repeatedly electrocuting a middle-aged man (Credit: Wellcome Library, London)
While genuine, happy smiles exist as a reward for when we’ve done something helpful to our survival, the ‘non-enjoyment’ smiles are less about what you’re feeling inside and more about what you want to signal to others. “Some evolved to signal that we’re cooperative and non-threatening; others have evolved to let people know, without aggression, that we are superior to them in this present interaction,” says Paula Niedenthal, a psychologist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Many are polite gestures which demonstrate that we’re following the rules. But they can also be an effective way of manipulating others or distracting them from our true feelings. More often than not, the universal symbol of happiness is used as a mask.
Duchenne smile
The first steps to decoding this multi-purpose expression came from the 19th Century neurologist Duchenne de Boulogne. He was the son of a French pirate and had a penchant for electrocuting his patients – among other things, he was a founding father of electrotherapy. Duchenne was interested in the mechanics of facial expressions, including how the muscles of the face contract to produce a smile. The best way to study this, he decided, was to attach electrodes to a person’s face and jolt their muscles into action.
In some places in the world, perceptions of genuine smiles don’t seem to depend on the presence of crow’s feet at all – Paula Niedenthal
The procedure was so painful, initially Duchenne was only able to experiment on the freshly severed heads of revolutionaries. Then one day, quite by chance, he met a middle-aged man with facial insensitivity in a Paris hospital – he had found his human guinea pig.
In all Duchenne went on to discover 60 facial expressions, each involving its own dedicated group of facial muscles, which he depicted in a series of grisly photographs.
In the most famous of these, the unlucky man has his face contorted into a broad, toothless grin. He looks idiotically happy, with his cheeks pushed up and crow’s feet around his eyes.
In chimpanzees and dogs, smiling is an expression of fear (Credit: Zanna Clay/ Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary)
It’s since become known as the ‘felt’ or ‘Duchenne‘ smile and it’s associated with genuine feelings of pleasure and giddy happiness. The smile is long and intense, though it involves the contraction of just two muscles. First the zygomatic major, which resides in the cheek, tugs at the corners of the mouth, then the orbicularis oculi, which surrounds the eye, pulls up the cheeks, leading to the characteristic ‘twinkling eyes’.
But there’s a twist. “In some places in the world, perceptions of genuine smiles don’t seem to depend on the presence of crow’s feet at all,” says Niedenthal.
Which brings us to a question which has been baffling scientists for over a century, from Darwin to Freud: are our expressions instinctive and universal, or do they depend on the culture we’re born into?
Fear smile
One clue comes from our closest cousins. In fact, though the felt smile may seem like the most natural today, some scientists think it may have evolved from an expression with a very different meaning. “When bonobo chimpanzees are afraid they’ll expose their teeth and draw their lips back so that their gums are exposed,” says Zanna Clay, a primatologist at the University of Birmingham.
The ‘smile revolution’ began in 19th Century Parisian coffee houses (Credit: Alamy)
The ‘silent bared teeth display’ looks so much like a smile it’s often featured on birthday cards, but in chimpanzees it’s a gesture of submission, used by low-status individuals to appease more dominant members of the group. Clay cites a popular video of a chimp stealing a rock. “She snuck off with it and then broke out into this big, cheeky grin. It looks like she’s laughing, but she’s probably nervous,” says Clay.
And though we don’t tend to associate smiling with feeling fearful in humans, there are tantalising hints that the fear smile may have lingered on. In babies, a broad grin can either mean they’re happy or distressed and studies have shown that men tend to smile more around those considered to be higher status.
The ‘miserable smile’ is a stoical grin-and-bear-it expression
Darwin believed that facial expressions are instinctive, having originally evolved to serve practical functions. For example, raising the eyebrows in surprise increases the field of vision, which may have helped our ancestors to escape ambushes by predators. In chimpanzees, fear smiles show the teeth tightly clamped together – as if to show that they’re not about to bite.
To prove his point, Darwin improvised an experiment at his home in Downe, a sleepy village just outside of London. He chose 11 of Duchenne’s photographs – the two were in regular correspondence – and asked 20 of his guests to guess which emotion they represented. They unanimously agreed on happiness, fear, sadness and surprise, among others, and Darwin concluded that these expressions are universal.
Miserable smile
We now know that smiling is indeed instinctive, but not just when we’re happy. The ‘miserable smile’ is a stoical grin-and-bear-it expression – a slight, asymmetric smile with an expression of deep sadness pasted over the top.
Since Landis’ classic study, psychologists have found this tell-tale smirk on the faces those watching gory films – they were filmed by a hidden camera – and among patients suffering from depression. It's a socially acceptable way of showing that you’re sad or in pain.
Schadenfreude is often expressed as a broad, angry grin (Credit: Getty Images)
For decades, psychologists believed that this counter-intuitive habit might be learned, but in 2009 a team from San Francisco State University uncovered tantalising evidence that it’s programmed into our DNA.
By analysing more than 4,800 photographs of athletes competing in the Athens Summer Olympic Games, they found that silver medallists who lost their final matches tended to produce these smiles – even if they had been blind from birth.
The dampened smile
But it’s a little bit more complicated than that. As it turns out, genuine, happy smiling hasn’t always been as celebrated as it is today. Back in 17th Century Europe, wearing your emotions openly was considered highly improper; it was an established fact that only the poor smiled with their teeth showing. The ‘smile revolution’ finally kicked off over a century later in Paris, kick-started by French nobles who were having such a good time in the newly opened coffee houses that they brought the smile back into fashion.
In many parts of the world, this change of etiquette never happened. One common Russian proverb translates as ‘smiling with no reason is a sign of stupidity’, while a government leaflet on working in Norway warns that you’ve been in the country too long if you assume smiling strangers are drunk, insane or American.
In Japan, where etiquette dictates that emotions are stifled in public, there’s a greater emphasis on smiling with the eyes
The dampened smile is an attempt to control an automatic, happy one and exists because some muscles, such as the ones controlling the mouth, are easier to suppress than others. “The cheeks will be raised but we pull the corners of the mouth downwards or press the lips together, like “I shouldn’t be smiling”,’ says Zara Ambadar, a cognitive psychologist at the University of Pittsburgh.
This is thought to explain why in Japan, where etiquette dictates that emotions are stifled in public, there’s a greater emphasis on smiling with the eyes. Intriguingly, this discrepancy even stretches to the way smiles are typed: vertically, with a flat mouth and squinting eyes, as opposed to dotted eyes with a curved mouth. This ^_^ instead of this : ).
The urge to smile may be universal, but when it’s acceptable to – and how it is interpreted – depends on cultural rules. As usual, Darwin hit the nail on the head, remarking that though facial expressions have been hardwired by evolution, ‘once acquired, such movements may be voluntarily and consciously employed as a means of communication.’
Embarrassed smile
The ‘embarrassed smile’ is identical, though the two are easily distinguished – if not by the flushed cheeks, then the uncomfortable situation which usually precedes it. Another tell-tale sign is moving the head downwards and slightly to the left.
Qualifier smile
From the check-out assistant who watched you queue for 10 minutes, only to tell you sweetly that ‘returns are only available on the fourth floor’, to the receptionist who explains that the next available appointment is in a year’s time, the ‘qualifier smile’ aims to take the edge off bad news.
It begins abruptly, raising the lower lip slightly, and is occasionally accompanied by a slightly downwards and sideways tilt of the head. It’s perhaps the most irritating of all the smiles, since it often traps the recipient into smiling back.
In Russia, gratuitous smiling is considered a sign of stupidity (Credit: Getty Images)
It’s the spitting image of three others, though they have quite different uses; the compliance smile, often awkwardly deployed by the victims of the qualifier to show that they aren’t going to make a fuss, the coordination response smile, which shows agreement, and the listener response smile, which tends to accompany ‘mm-hmm’ noises and a reassuring nod that you’re still paying attention.
Contempt smile
Another tricky expression to swallow is the rictus of utter contempt. The ‘contempt smile’ indicates a mixture of disgust and resentment and is disconcertingly similar to a smile of true delight, except for the corners of the lips which appear tightened.
In East Asian culture, which is less centred around the needs of the individual, negative emotions are often concealed with a smile to maintain social harmony. “Where I’m from in Indonesia, anger is usually not considered socially acceptable. Instead people tend to smile a lot when they’re angry,” says Ambadar.
Angry-enjoyment smile
Translating roughly as ‘malicious joy’, schadenfreude is the thrill of discovering another’s misfortune.
For obvious reasons, this deliciously mischievous emotion is best concealed from others. But that’s not always easy. “If individuals are alone and feel unobserved, they usually express feelings of schadenfreude by so-called ‘Duchenne smiles’ and ‘Duchenne laughs’,” says Jennifer Hofmann, a psychologist at the University of Zurich.
When we know someone’s watching, the best we can do is plaster an expression of anger over the top, resulting in the fixed, creepy grin which has become a staple of horror movie villains.
This blended expression is just one of several smiles with a similar formula, such as enjoyable-contempt, enjoyable-fear and enjoyable-sadness.
Fake smile
Thanks to Duchenne, it’s widely held that you can easily spot a fake smile by simply looking to the eyes – he believed that the eye muscle only contracts when we really mean it. But we now know that most people – around 71% - can voluntarily contract the inner portion of the orbicularis oculi.
A 2013 study found that simply faking one in a shop mirror makes you more likely to buy what you’re trying on
“There is nothing intrinsically genuine about Duchenne smiles and evidence shows that they are easily faked,” says Alan Fridlund, a psychologist at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Most of us have a lot of practice. Since smiles tend to accompany greetings, we’re used to politely lying about our true feelings – saying we’re fine, even when we’re not – with these expressions fixed on our faces.
And from currying favour in the courtroom to bonding with your boyfriend’s nightmare parents and even landing yourself a better job, there are plenty of good reasons to. Smiles are so universally appealing, a 2013 study found that simply faking one in a shop mirror makes you more likely to buy what you’re trying on.
In fact, when judged by their facial expressions alone, people are judged as most truthful when they are lying. As the American humourist Kin Hubbard once said: “If you haven’t seen your wife smile at a traffic cop, you haven’t seen her smile her prettiest.”
How can you tell if a smile is authentic?
Silver medallist Allyson Felix smiles after losing out on gold at the 2016 Olympics (Credit: Getty Images)
When we encounter a face in everyday life, our brains instantly compare its geometry to thousands of others that we have encountered, to see which expression it fits. Next we think about the context – is a smile expected? Finally, automatically mimicking their face allows us to test how it makes us feel.
Niedenthal warns against placing too much emphasis on context. ‘’It is important not to assume that a smile that you see in a situation that wouldn’t make you smile is false. It may be genuine for this person in this culture or situation!’
But there are other tell-tale signs. When they’re used deliberately, smiles may be too abrupt or too lingering, or occur too soon or too long before the phrase they should accompany. There’s more to a convincing smile than squinty eyes and a flash of teeth.
Flirtatious smile
No list would be complete without a reference to the most famous smile of all – that depicted in the Mona Lisa. For all its mystery, categorising this vanishing smile is easy. Psychologists have known for decades that Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece captures an act of flirtation; his sitter smiles radiantly while gazing into the distance, then risks a sideways glance and an ‘embarrassed’ smile before quickly looking away again.
The Mona Lisa smile is often described as enigmatic, but it’s actually a classic ‘flirtatious’ expression (Credit: Beyond My Ken/Wikimedia Commons)

So the next time someone tells you to ‘smile’, remember – it’s up to you which one you choose.

Bicycle Gnome
Menace is another exemplary from rockstar games. Referred to for such games as the great hoodlum auto arrangement, Bully follows a large number of similar missions however is set inside a school yard. As such there is no guns, no slaughtering and some new fascinating side lines.
Of remarkable interest is the most ideal approach to get your wellbeing expanded to double its ordinary leve .... You kiss - snog is presumably a superior portrayal.
You can likewise build your wellbeing in domineering jerk by drinking soft drinks.
Alongside the life experience school subject you can get various weapons of an adolescent sort - including smell bombs, sling shots, spud firearms, bottle rocket weapon, tingling powder, fireworks, sacks of marbles, eggs, paint jars and obviously your own clench hands. This is the place where the Nintendo Wii takes menace to another level far beyond what different consoles can offer. You need to box on with somebody - you box on, trust me you can get a serious exercise. Particularly when you battle in the preppies boxing ring for 16 rounds!!!.
You can become familiar with various moves to expand your battling capacities, including leg clears, head butts and the exemplary knee to the crotch (having endured this specific move, in actuality, I am personally familiar with the harm and torment this can cause), such a ton better to leave this sort of conduct in the virtual world.
Their are 87 missions that I've finished, most follow a focal story line between you the principle character - James (Jimmy) Hopkins and Gary Smith - a profoundly upset young fellow and Pete your weak side kick!
Different characters in Bully incorporate the Preps (elitists), Jocks (huge brandishing types), the domineering jerks (white shirt and pants), the greasers (50's oddballs), Nerds (in the event that you don't have a clue what a geek is, its probable you are one), alongside small children, the greater young ladies (the enormous chested ones ;), just as the regents (the ones who bust you and hammer you to the ground and drag you off to the chiefs office), and the instructors. Around are police, grown-ups, understudies and arranged failures.
Similarly as with most hero games, menace has various guides that gradually open dependent upon you as the game advances. The principle town, the privileged rural areas, the ghettos, and more mechanical ghettos. Running all around this tremendous town would take ages, fortunately there are various other vehicle choices including your consistently helpful skateboard (and the back to the future ride hitch), bikes, bikes, and the go kart. When you have the go kart - this will be the lone way you well decide to get in and out of town as it is lighting quick. Get this by winning all the go kart races - it sits tight for you outside the front of the shop close to you individual carport.
Menace has various 'collectibles', including annihilating dwarves, gathering cards, elastic groups (which gets you another elastic band ball weapon when you have them all). There is one troublesome elastic band on top of a rooftop around with no stepping stool to arrive - you can't bounce the hole from the adjoining rooftop top - you need to hop while on your skate board - a precarious move, yet I got it on the third go. Likewise 6 radios are collectible and you can exchange them to a transient to instruct you battling moves. Read More
The lone irritating thing with the Wii form of the game is the camera control in certain missions, which can be extremely precarious - you need to push the Wii distant hard at the screen and afterward point it cautiously - the originators might have utilized more reasonable choices to coordinate your camera - the camera is expected to finish a few missions and require year book photographs - or simply glad snaps of your game.
Menace is set in a live-in school so obviously you have CLASSES - with an assortment of educators you presumably met some time during your school profession - if to some degree over performed. The classes incorporate craftsmanship, english, science, maths, shop, music, exercise center, photography, science and topography.
English is the hardest and Maths is no push over either - ascertain quick or pass up a major opportunity.
Exercise center is incredible to learn new battling moves.
Music, craftsmanship and photography are probably however silly as they seem to be in 'genuine' school. Photography in any event gets you a camera.
Shop gets you a fluctuating movement of better constantly BMX bikes.
Science empowers you to concoct tingling powder, smell bombs and fireworks in your apartment.
The primary structures in the school are the young men and young ladies residences, the fundamental school building - homerooms, cafeteria and chiefs office; the rec center, the shop, the library, Harington house, the arena and sports field and the observatory. Its simple to get around on skateboard - however bouncing the two arrangements of steps to the fundamental structure requires pin point timing - yet is conceivable.
Some fascinating school asides - playing dodgeball, pulling the alarms, kicking the soccer ball again the divider and simply making an annoyance of yourselves. You can stow away from power figures in canisters, storage spaces and porta-loos until your warmth level chills off - it you can't discover one - just flee, skate or drive away. Try not to attempt to take on the officials - I've figured out how to take one out, so I attempted the spud weapon - I got two however the other two consuls nailed me.
Menace is an extraordinary game - all the demigod splendor without the blood.
Different spaces of revenue - the festival - bunches of fun games, rides and capacity to procure tickets. The shoreline and wharf - to get that keep going little person on the canal boat remember to utilize your super slingshot. The psychological refuge, the apparel shops, tattoo 'van', hairstyling parlors, theater and comic shops, BMX track.
You can even get unspecialized temp jobs and bring in cash making food conveyances, paper round and trimming yards. You will require the money to purchase all the garments to get 100% consummation.
My solitary objection about the game is the principle story completes some time before you complete 100% and the world it so enormous it takes ages to 'gather' everything. Incidentally the Wii controls - especially in science and shop are difficult to "duplicate" precisely - you will perceive what I mean.
The most amazing aspect of menace - boxing on, causing commotion and kissing the young ladies. Funnest part - watching your lady friends pull every others hairs, least amusing part - being kneed in the crotch by an irritated sweetheart - both can happen when your got out exploring every available opportunity.
I suggest Bully as an unquestionable requirement have game for your Wii assortment.

ACT I - ABOUT VEIL AND IMAGE
EXT. GARDEN - DAWN
LENNY arrives at the WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE. Here is the garden and around it some flower beds, a space cultivated for flowers for Margot, to make a spray for her hair, to perfume the sheets.[2] The WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE embraces him warmly with its garden.
WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE
Every man must create it new and different out of himself: new and different. [3] Once on a June evening, in those long gone years when the ends of days sank into silence, I was waiting for a total eclipse of the sun on a terrace facing a garden, overlooking the foliage of a maple tree. [4] And I thought of you Lenny. In the sudden darkness I saw you, hidden behind a veil, the massive walls of the Vatican Palace. A faceless silhouette.
LENNY
I have no image [...] because I am no one.[6] To become like everybody else; but this, precisely, is a becoming only for one who knows how to be nobody, to no longer be anybody. [9] And so, for my first adress the lightning was so dim, no photographer, no TV cameraman, and not even the faithful saw anything of me but a dark shadow, my silhouette. They did not see me because I do not exist.[10] The prim speech imposed upon them, the lessons in good behaviour, the veil of mystery you profess to hang before their eyes, serve but to stimulate their curiosity. [7] In being everywhere and nowhere I was [...] the object of much social curiosity; people payed attention to this, spoke about it, remembered it.[8] Now that I am pressed on all sides, I maintain my equilibrium, because, no longer attached to anything, I depend on myself alone.[10]I love the immediate presence of him who is in possession of no space other than that in which I exist.[11] I keep praying for You to make something happen so why this awful, crawling feeling that nothing ever does? [11]I either hardly feel it, or don't feel it at all.[12] God does not shout. God does not whisper. God does not write. God does not hear. God does not chat. God's infinite silence...[13] I said to myself: Why should I strive to find what does not exist? [14] By extending myself precariously I exist, outside of the stability where the other subject remains asleep or dead. [15] And in the end I only thought of her[16], my Margot. I don’t know her yet but you will help me find her.
WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE (hesistates)
The new is born of the old; the new is only the repetition of the old.[5] What you’re looking for is a complete inversion. Again a mystery, a face that is not yours but this time it will not be no image but all image. The new self is constructed from a triple contingency: faith and doubt; hope that will be happy at an indeterminate time; bonds of unconditional Love.[18] When i watched the total eclipse of the sun that summer evening it soon became dark and an eclipse wind, like a wave, had risen when suddenly from the neighbouring house burst forth a sort of wild dance, with the strange, biting, astringent sound of Pan’s pipes. Young people were celebrating some festival, they had confused shadow with twilight and were playing as night fell. However much one knows about it, the veiling of the sun’s light is disturbing and transports one to another world. [18] I saw you cover up in darkness and now i see you longing for the unveiling of the sun. And in this twilight a party shall rise so that the heart, that obscure, celestial flower, undergoes a mysterious blossoming. 19]That is the only way great loves stories are born and I don't want any more part time believers.[20]
ACT II - ABOUT BEES AND HONEY
EXT. GARDEN - MORNING
LENNY discovers a garden in this Genesis, naturally, and in this garden only the apple tree interests him, tempts him: he can see its flowers.[21] He walks towards the tree. The WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE is observing him. As LENNY reaches for one of the blossoms a bee flies out of it.
LENNY
But how can i find my Margot in this city still so strange to me?
WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE
You have to understand what she likes. Margot is the bee and you are her honey. What does Margot like?
LENNY (looking at the flowers)
Margot likes wind in her hair and salt cristals on her skin, lace and hoodies, rings on her fingers and flowers in her hair, black panthers and partridges, walking barefoot on wet grass and wearing mid calf boots, day dreaming and ADHD, dancing underground and sleeping in white sheets, birch trees and skyscrapers, gel nails and knitting, smocking and drinking tee, equal rights and mini skirts, her birthday and celebrating christmas with her family, a Ferrari Portofino and umberella pine trees, Fellinis Roma and Mario Cart, Los Angeles and Palermo, seashells and pinecones, Zorra by Bad Gyal and playing the Bach Suite Nr. 1 on her Cello, passion fruits and rough fights, oranges and jeweled persian rice, fig trees and Coke, dry white wine and soft cheese, creaky parquet and soft carpets, stone basins and hot springs, ....
WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE
The mask does not hide the face, it is the face.[21] Your new face should combine all these elements to a story. You become invisible by making, on the contrary, a lot of noise.[22] [...] the veil of mystery you profess to hang before their eyes, serve but to stimulate their curiosity[23]. In being everywhere and nowhere [...] the object of much social curiosity[24] people will pay attention to it, speak about it, remember it. And I will be the embodiment of your story the place where all elements manifest in a happening. A great feast Margot will want to attend.
ACT III - THE INVITATION
INT. MARGOTS MURCIELAGO - AFTERNOON
A downpour of summer rain patters on the front window. MARGOT is waiting at a red light. Her phone buzzes and she opens the message.
TEXT ON SCREEN
My darling friends, there’s one spectacular party in the making! Join us tonight at the Wittgenstein House to another glass of white wine under the fig trees, eating fresh fish on soft carpets next to blossoming anthuries. Glowing cheeks from dancing till dawn. Bring a delicate, floating, spring bouquet of florets in new leaf green, cherry blossom pink, and marigold yellow[25] and we’ll serve everything else. XOXO EROS (Gossip Girl, Prince Charming, SHY GIRL, haha)
ACT IV - THE PARTY
EXT. THE CITY INT. AVAS FERRARI PORTOFINO - SUNSET
The rain had stopped. The water evaporated on the hot asphalt and left a sultry summer evening air. AVAs car is speeding down the Ringstrasse. The roof of the cabrio is folded down and the wind blows through their hair.
AVA (lost in thought)
Do you think EROS will attend the party today? I wish we’d find out who’s behind all this uproar. Maybe it’s one of our friends hiding behind a second persona. It would make sense because EROS seems to like all the things we do.
MARGOT
Some weeks ago we’ve never heard about him and now he's everywhere. Noise, ruckus, rumors spread.[27] I’ve heard the parties are supposed to be unique in its kind and his face, enveloped by a more or less dense veil[26] has sparked many suspicions. (sighs) I think he looks like Hauru, wearing drop earrings made of rubies and emeralds combined [...] dripping down[27] his lobe, a radiant boy [...] his blonde chin length hair making him the cynosure of all eyes.[27]
AVA shakes her head and starts laughing.
EXT. THE SITE - RADIATION INTO NEIGHBOURHOOD - SUNSET
It’s dark but the garden is enlightened by the colourful lights emerging the windows. The WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE is radiant and reaching in all directions, emitting visual, audible and perceptible vibrations. The air smells of Un Jardin en Méditerranée. The Ferrari Portofino enters the SITE. AVA and MARGOT step out of it. Instantly they are surrounded by an electric atmosphere. People get chauffeured around in Mercedes Benz with Cristal champagne.[28] On inspecting the entrance facade, you can discover a series of metaphors and symbolic signs.[29] It would be too strong to call this fantasy a portal to Hell, but it is surely no entrance to a Heavenly Jerusalem[30]. AVA and MARGOT join the stream of guests walking through the garden towards the WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE greeting, kissing, hugging.
INT. THE ENTRANCE - APERO - THE FIRST IMPRESSION - SUNSET
The party begins as people are moving in, gathering in the entrance hall and taking a stand up cocktail.[31] There is champagne, caviar and fireworks.[32] Ahead, some distance from the entrance, is a great mural of brilliant color.[33] Opulent Ornaments, heavy textiles, reflecting surfaces. The materials come from the everyday domestic sphere, much having to do with ornamenting the body: copper and brass wire, buttons, beads, baubles, hooks, eyes, straps, false fingernails, makeup, hair, ribbons, lace, thread, shells, feathers, and bones. The amulets are fetishes, beautiful ornamental objects, and they are connected to the fetishism of architectural representation.[34]
WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE (whispering to the YOUNG POPE)
This is the moment we’ve been waiting for. First Impressions are made. About me as the entrance always affects the following impression of the whole house and about you. Especially Margots first impression of you. I am preparing you, bit by bit, so that, at the desired moment, I can give you the final instructions and have it all fall into place.[35]
MARGOT (whispering)
Ava! Look at this man sitting on the seashell sofa in the garden. He’s knitting all alone while everybody else is clinking glasses.
AVA (teasing)
Why don’t you bring him a glass of Prosecco. I know it, I feel it, and you will say it.[35]
MARGOT (concentrated)
You just know me too well and yes, he is cute.
EXT. THE GARDEN - THE TALK ABOUT LOVE - SUNSET
MARGOT walks over to the LENNY carrying a glass of prosecco. Rising up in a warm haze, the innumerable modern statues towered on their pillars half way up the golden webs of sunset.[36] The garden is a collection of living beauties, rare Plants, exotic Flowers and Fruits. The trees are old and high and in between long white cotton cloths are hanging in the trees, blowing in the wind, rendering shadow plays. LENNY is sitting in the seashell sofa sheltered from the wind, warm sunbeams began to play, streams to flow, and groves of pines diversified the rocks. [37] MARGOT hands him the glass.
MARGOT (laughing)
Hello strange man, what are you knitting?
LENNY
Some of the more exotic plants have to be taken indoors for protection from the cold night air and swaddled in thick woollen garments.[38]
MARGOT We have, indeed, become a flower growing people.[39] So you’re actually a textile and dress designer[40] for plants of all kinds. (laughs)
LENNY
When, on a summer evening, the melodious sky growls like a tawny lion, and everyone is complaining of the storm, it is the memory of the Meseglise way that makes me stand alone in ecstasy, inhaling, through the noise of the falling rain, the lingering scent of invisible lilacs.[41] Or when I reach out to touch a fragile tree and blossoming spicules float downwards and fade, each with its clear, tiny tinkle.[42] These are the moments I cherish most. I am in love with them and that is why I take care of them.
MARGOT (hesistating)
But for me love is not only loving and caring. It fun when it starts getting way more complex. It is raucous, low, full, pleading, vulgar, sharp, cutting, jovial, harmonious, commanding, harrowing, seductive, explosive or irritated[...] noble, high pitched, servile, majestic, ample, sick, affronted, clothed in silence, echoing with the sea or forest, undercut by the twittering of birds, howling like a wild beast, [... ]asking questions and saying come here, an alarming voice, broken, sobbing [43].
LENNY (sighs)
Until now I’v only got to know a more one-sided monotonous love but thats another story. I’d be excited to get to know your kind of love.
MARGOT (excited)
Oh look over there! It’s a real black panther prowling through the peach trees!
EXT. WINTER GARDEN - DAWN
People are appearing in the open doors of the WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE following the excited call of MARGOT. People start bringing out plates with all kinds of foods. The WITTGENSTEING HOUSE opens all the windows that all the curtains flow in the summer breeze. A stone basin appears and now the air is filled by lapping and cricket chirping.
INT. SALON - DANCING AND TEASING - NIGHT
After eating the WITTGENSTEIN HOUSE starts playing Promiscuous Girl by Nelly Furtado. Slowly the dancefloor is filled with curiously dancing people. Tossing their hands in a wanton and lascivious manner, rolling around, twerking. MARGOT catches LENNYs eye and they dance towards each other.

The Introduction to Canon PowerShot S110 Manual
By the record, a manual is something that is really important as a complement for an electronic product, especially digital camera. From this manual, there will be a lot of information obtained.
https://kawaiicowboycandy.tumblr.com/post/638308396977782784/mitsubishi-ek-wagon-user-manual-in-english. Something like specification, instruction, camera parts, settings, features, and other related information will be something possible to obtain.
This is why we aim to bring the Canon PowerShot S110 Manual here. With this manual, we hope that we can help users as well as enthusiasts to understand more about this Canon camera product.
Canon PowerShot S110 Camera Whole Appearance
Before getting deeper to the Canon PowerShot S110 Manual and its specification, firstly, we will talk about the overall look of this camera first. As we all know, it is generally stated that upgrading the products from time to time is the digital camera manufacturer’s key success.
This step is done to fulfill the users need as well as following the world’s trend. By this reason, Canon also pays more attention on this thing. Not only upgrading the specification, but they also upgraded the look of it. Are you curious about it? Here is the review of Canon PowerShot S110 Look.
As you can see visually, this Canon PowerShot series is so similar with its predecessor, the S100. Canon replaced the S100 with this S110. It appears to be a typical compact point and shoot digicam because of its size.
When you function it in auto-mode, it would be nicely done. Based on the Canon PowerShot S110 manual, even though this camera is compact, the construction is also robust with all metal material and completed with the premium moisture/dust seals.
You can add all your personal inputs into the process of image-making. The S110 is looking quite retro that is designed for those who like photography. This point and shoot digicam is a good camera for the general uses. The small size is not intimidating to subjects.
The Specification of Canon PowerShot S110
It’s a cool compact camera that is pretty popular amongst others. This kind of camera is trending among photographers who look for camera to be carried around all day long. You can carry this camera without being weighted down.
This cool compact camera offers some great functionality and user control with greater degree that you can also have in DSLR cameras. In 2009, canon released the PowerShot S90 which begins the success of this PowerShot series. The only serious competition of this camera was the Panasonic Lumix LX3.
Then in 2012, these kind of camera markets was much more crowded. They have Nikon p310, Samsung EX2F, LUMIX LX7 and the RX100 from Sony.
What about Canon PowerShot S110, did it has what it takes to take down the others?
Based on the Canon PowerShot S110 manual, this camera has the ability to shoot still images both JPEG and RAW. The ability that comes from the succeeding PowerShot S100.
The customisable control ring is still there around the lens base. It’s able to take full manual control all over the camera. The upgrade of the S110 from S100 is not huge. It’s just like a gentle refresh of its predecessor. It has the same 12.1MP High Sensitivity CMOS sensor. For image processor, this compact is still using the DIGIC 5, just like the S100. Wanna get a good capture from a quite far range? The 5 times fixed zoom is still here though.

Apps and Websites to Search Multiple Streaming Services
With an expansion of real time features now accessible in India, it's not in every case simple to sort out what's accessible where. Without a doubt, all Netflix firsts, for example, Stranger Things and BoJack Horseman are clearly on Netflix, HBO shows from Game of Thrones to Curb Your Enthusiasm can be found on Hotstar, and Amazon is extraordinary for… an all-male setup of stand-up satire firsts.
Multiple Streaming Services
However, in case you're searching for an irregular film or TV show – state, Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible – it's not as self-evident. Opening each application and physically search can be a task, and that is not what anybody needs to do with their time. Fortunately, there are a couple of administrations that search across the different lists, and help find what you're searching for.
So in the event that you wish to invest more energy viewing and less time thinking hard, this is what you should utilize.
1. JustWatch
Of the relative multitude of choices on this rundown, JustWatch is best for those of us in India, as it underpins the conspicuous streaming stages in the nation: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar. What's more, it likewise glances through iTunes, Google Play, Voot, Hooq, Mubi, and GuideDoc. JustWatch is accessible through its site – ensure the URL says justwatch.com/in - or the application, for both Android and iOS. Utilizing the application, you can just tap on the distinctive review alternatives it shows in its indexed lists to dispatch the fitting application.

Even better, JustWatch permits you to change different channels, so you can limit the overabundance of substance accessible all over. You can browse films or TV shows, and set delivery year, sorts, cost, and rating. The remainder of those backings both IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, in the event that you were interested.
You can even make a watchlist, however that requires a free record. JustWatch is accessible in an aggregate of 31 nations, including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
2. GoWatchIt
For perusers in the US, GoWatchIt is an extraordinary option in contrast to JustWatch as it has a significantly longer rundown of real time suppliers, including YouTube, and some lesser-referred to ones, for example, Tribeca Shortlist, and Dox. In addition, GoWatchIt additionally takes a gander at actual retailers, so it's incredible for the individuals who actually lean toward purchasing Blu-beams of their cherished motion pictures and TV shows occasionally.
What's more, it has a possibility for TV tune-in, so you can help set an update for when the following scene airs. You'll have to set up a free GoWatchIt record to get those notices, however. GoWatchIt has applications for both Android and iOS as well, however they're a long ways from the site's satisfying look.
3. Hurray Video Guide
Another US-just alternative is the Yahoo Video Guide, accessible on Android and iOS, which has the best look of all the applications recorded here. It's weighty on cover craftsmanship, and even utilizes short recordings to feature well known arrangement. You can look across an aggregate of 30 suppliers, with the application assisting you with picking the ones previously introduced on your telephone.
Yippee Video Guide's best time highlight is its Mood Picker. Here's the manner by which it works: pick a GIF from accessible choices, for example, "Winter Soldier taking a gander at a vehicle exploding" (Action) or "Mythical beast burning down everything" (Fantasy), and afterward the application recommends pertinent titles. You can choose numerous GIFs as well, and Video Guide at that point limits appropriately.
4. Stremio
You can make things one stride further with Stremio, which searches lists of various administrations, yet additionally underpins playing (a few) content straightforwardly in its application. You can either watch on your Android and iOS gadget, or send content over to a Chromecast/brilliant TV that is associated on a similar Wi-Fi organization. It look through a huge (however generally US-driven) rundown of substance suppliers, however it does exclude Hotstar at the present time.
Stremio's supplier list underpins additional items, so you can add stores that you don't see from the start. This incorporates some free independent film stages, and some free local suppliers. Stremio has additionally gotten famous for the capacity to introduce additional items that snare onto downpour destinations – somewhat like the brief sensation Popcorn Time – however this is certainly something we don't overlook.

After Sienna’s revelation the gang had began exploring the edges of the forbidden forest in hopes of find Morana. After Albus reminded everybody about the man that had attacked him for his ‘mistress’ it became clear to the group that they were servants of Morana. Rose devised a careful schedule that allowed for Albus and Thalia to spend as much time as possible on the journal and her, Scorpius & Sienna to patrol the edges of the forest in case there were any more trespassers. Rose had everybody’s day scheduled down to the minute in order to allow time for examining the journal, patrolling the borders of the grounds, classes, homework, food (with the unfortunate sacrifice of certain meals a day) and a few hours of sleep a night. At first Albus thought this to be completely over the top but when he found himself barely awake in his 3pm potions class with no clue whether he had a free period for journal study in the common room, quidditch practice or his allotted eating time he found himself thankful for Rose’s colour coded schedule.
As the looming celebrations got closer and closer Albus became more and more thankful for the welcome distraction from thinking about, what felt to Albus, a glorified press conference with his parents Infront of the entire school. Rose on the other hand had gone into full planning mode, preparing her outfit, preparation interview questions for when the paparazzi inevitably hounded her and various poses and outfits to be photographed in on top of all her other commitments. Rose often prided herself in her time management skills and wonders how she’d cope with being the daughter of the minister of magic without it. Scorpius wasn’t worried about the upcoming events however, as he had already planned his escape to the room of requirement as soon as the inevitable questions about his death eater father came. at least he didn’t have to worry about his father being there like Albus did, it was clear his father wasn’t welcome here.
With Albus and Thalia completely preoccupied with journal deciphering in their free time and Rose in full on preparation mode without a moment to spare, Scorpius found himself left with Sienna often. Scorpius held nothing against Sienna, but he hadn’t spent an awful lot of time with Sienna, of course they’d had their group meetings together, but she was mostly focused on Albus during this time and they hadn’t really been alone a lot. But now with Rose’s scheduling system it meant that Scorpius, Sienna and Rose rotated patrol in pairs, so Scorpius had many hours now patrolling with just Sienna, which Scorpius found were the quietest times. When he patrolled with Rose she almost couldn’t seem to shut up, discussing theories as well as their upcoming homework and exams came naturally with Rose, it was easy for Scorpius to talk to her. But Sienna and he had little to talk about, every now and again one of them would attempt small talk but it never got far, that is until the particularly hot summers day the day before the celebration when Scorpius and Sienna were patrolling in between there care of magical creatures and Ancient Runes exams. As they were approaching the boating house Sienna unexpectedly turned to him in another attempt to make small talk and asked,
“Excited for tomorrow?” Scorpius could see it was just another attempt to make their patrol more exciting but as with all their attempts at conversation, they had little to talk about.
“I’m not going, I’ll make a quick appearance, watch Albus’ Dads’ speech then I’ll head up to the room of requirement for the rest.” Sienna’s eyes narrowed slightly in confusion as they sat down on the boat house steps as Rose instructed them to do while patrolling the perimeter.
“Why? Everyone’s talking about how epic it’s going to be. There’s supposed to the grandest feast hogwarts has ever seen, and I saw Harlow setting up the quidditch pitch earlier so you know there’s going to be some kind of contest, and Penny swears she overheard Longbottom and Hart discussing a fireworks display…” Sienna rambled to try to fill the silence but was quietened by Scorpius’ response.
“And a bunch of press. Forget the feast, the only thing we know for certain that will be there are press. I don’t really feel like getting a camera shoved in my face and being asked if I’m a death eater, or if my father approves of my Gryffindor lifestyle, or where my mother is” Sienna was quieted for a moment before smiling slightly and asking.
“Don’t know why they’d bother asking you that when your scandalous love affairs are far more interesting! Who wants to read about politics and death eaters when you could read about a torrid affair between you and Rose and Albus!” Scorpius snorted as he laughed with her for the first time in what felt like a long time.
“Me, Rose and Albus!?”
“Oh, come on! You know that slimy Rita Skeeter been all over you, Rose and Albus’ friendship since you all started Hogwarts, it’s only a matter of time before she starts reporting about how your breaking Rose’s heart with your romantic rendezvous’ with Albus!” Sienna held her arms out as if she were imagining a newspaper title “I can see it now ‘Malfoy caught with Potter in a secret shameful love affair breaking Weasley’s heart!’” Scorpius was laughing down to his core now, desperately trying to catch him breath as he and Sienna were nearly doubled over in stitches.
“Oi you’d better watch it tomorrow, if you get caught with Albus you’ll be the Slytherin temptress ruining his heroic Destiny” Scorpius countered making Sienna almost choke with laughter. As the continued to imagine various newspaper headline and the imaginary stories the press would run with them it was 17 minutes after there expected leave time from there post that Sienna and Scorpius finally calmed down and realised how late they were. As they began walking along the lake Sienna turned to Scorpius to ask,
“You can’t let the rubbish they write effect you. None of what they write matters. You’re a good person and you’ve got friends that have your back and that’s all that matters, not the way a bunch of idiots who hang onto the Daily Prophet’s every word sees you as. You should come tomorrow, have fun.” Scorpius was thrown by Sienna’s profound insight and was once again reminded of how much of a mystery she was to him.
“Thanks. But It’s not so much the fact that the press will be there but the fact that it’s just another reminder of who’s not.” Scorpius looked down at his feet as he tried to regain his composure.
“Look I know what it’s like to get constantly reminded of what you don’t have, believe me I get it. But at some point you have to stop focusing on the fact that you don’t have a mum and focus on the fact that you’ve got us, stop fixating how you don’t have a dad and remember that you have Teddy and the Weasley. You could spend your entire life feeling jealous of what you don’t have but you’ll never be able to appreciate everything you do. At some point parents stop mattering as much as having a support system around you to call family. Couse we’re each other’s family now, you, me Rose, Albus & Thalia were a family, we’ve got each other’s backs. So yeah, your parents aren’t there but who needs them!? Your family will be there with you.” Scorpius studied Sienna’s firm expression and it became clear that this talk wasn’t just for him.
“Are your parents not coming either?” Scorpius tentatively asked, he knew how well prying into Sienna’s private life usually went.
“Don’t have any. Care home kid.” She responded he pace quickening, so she was slightly ahead of him.
“Oh…. I’m sorry I didn’t know.”
“Don’t be sorry, can’t miss what you never had.”
“But you can miss the idea of it. The idea of that perfect family life you always imagined having, parents to come home too in their little cosy house, you can miss the idea of a family without ever actually having one.” Scorpius thought about all the times he’d imagined what it would be like to live in a simple little cottage with his parents tucking him in and reading him stories and healing scraped knees. The memory of all those nights spent wondering still stung Scorpius today. Sienna’s face softened as she allowed Scorpius to catch up with her and Scorpius wondered if she too and stayed up at night imagining what a real family might feel like.
“Yeah not having parents sucks. Especially on days like tomorrow when you look around at everyone with the perfect happy little families and wonder why you don’t get to have that. And as much as I like Albus seeing the way he complains about his parents just makes me want to rip his head off…”
“It’s like he doesn’t even realise how lucky he is! He has a mum and a dad that just want to love and care for him and he doesn’t even appreciate it!” Scorpius interrupted finishing Sienna’s thought.
“Exactly! I can’t even listen when he’s in his whiny complain about his dad mode! Like he expects us to feel sorry for him because his dad loves him too much!” Sienna rolled her eyes.
“I thought you liked Albus?” Scorpius dared to be brave now that Sienna’s guard was lowering to try and figure out more about what was going on with Sienna and Albus.
“I do.” Sienna saw the analysis on Scorpius’ face and raised her eyebrow in defiance. “Just because he’s cute doesn’t mean I can’t also find him annoying, I thought you and freckles would understand that blondie!” Sienna smirked.
“Rose… no… we’re not... I mean...” Scorpius looked over at Sienna’s smug face and realised how pointless denial would be at this point. “Rose doesn’t think of me like that.” Scorpius sighed in defeat.
“Rose doesn’t think of anybody like that right now. She’s so wrapped up in organising and scheduling and schoolwork to see anything else. Doesn’t mean she doesn’t have feelings though.” Scorpius tried to hide the optimism in his face, but he judged by Sienna’s smirk that he hadn’t done a great job.
“So, if you think Albus is so cute why haven’t you made your move yet?” Scorpius countered to try to let the blush in his face go down.
“Same reason you’re not making your move on freckles. He’s too busy with that stupid journal and Thalia to take a second look at me right now.” Sienna noticed the look of silent judgement on Scorpius’ face and her eyebrows knitted together in frustration. “What!?”
“Oh, come on! That’s such a load of rubbish!” Sienna opened her mouth to protest but Scorpius cut her off before she could even continue.
“If you’re so wise about MY love life, you tell me mister know it all why haven’t I told him yet?” Scorpius studied her face for a moment, challenge and defiance written all over it.
“You’re scared. You’re scared he might turn you down. You’re scared of letting someone in, only to have your heart shattered. You’re not holding back because he’s so busy, you’re holding back because he’s been so busy with Thalia. Your worried that you might tell him how you feel only to have him reject you for Thalia. You can act as tough as you want but your just as scared of rejection as the rest of us!” Sienna was stunned into silence for half a moment before taking a deep breath and raising his hand ready to object but as Scorpius looked at her with his eyebrow raised in challenge, Sienna realised it was pointless, after all the stuff she’d already said to Scorpius today what was one more secret. So, against her better judgement Sienna sighed as her body deflated. No words seemed to be able to leave her mouth as Scorpius met her eyes and all the was able to do was shrug.
“it’s okay to let yourself be open with him. You may get your heart broken, you may not, but the important thing is you tried. You gave it a shot which means you won’t spend your life wondering what could have happened. It’s okay to let yourself be vulnerable every now and again. You don’t have to keep this guard up.” Scorpius placed his hand on her shoulder as he sat next to her against the quidditch pitch which was there next designated post on patrol. Scorpius thought Sienna might cry he’d never seen her show this much emotion. Sienna seemed incapable of words as she feared the second, she opened her mouth her body might betray her, and the tears may fall instead.
“I mean if you never give it a shot, you’ll never get to be the slytherin temptress pulling him away from his torrid love affair with me! What will the papers write about then!” Sienna couldn’t help but laugh as a few tears escaped down her cheeks and she quickly brushed them away.
“You’re such a hypocrite Blondie! You’re telling me what to do when your too cowardly to tell Freckles you dream about her every night!” Sienna rolled her eyes trying her best to deflect from the heavy stuff Scorpius had said that was still sitting in her chest.
“Hey! That makes me sound like a lovesick puppy… I’m not that desperate…” Sienna raised a knowing eyebrow, Scorpius started to protest before letting out a big groan. “I’m pretty pathetic, aren’t I?”
“Pretty pathetic? You’re a mess!” Sienna and Scorpius laughed.
“She’s just so driven, especially with everything going on lately… I just don’t want it to get in the way for her…” Sienna rolled her eyes in disbelieve
“Dude! You gotta toughen up! Rose Weasley is a headstrong badass, that girl will eat you alive if you don’t Gryffindor up! Freckles needs someone who can’t be bossed around by her. She needs someone to bring her back when she goes to far and push her when she starts to doubt herself, if your gunna stop pining after her and start being with her your gunna have to be brave enough to stop letting her tell you what to do all the time! If I recall in first year you didn’t take any of her bossy stuff, what happened to that?” Scorpius thought back to first year for a moment, how frustratingly stubborn Rose had been and how he’d stuck his ground against it. It was different then; she wasn’t like she was now… or maybe he wasn’t. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but something had changed.
“It was different back then…”
“Look do you want to be Rose Weasley’s boyfriend?”
“Yes” Scorpius reluctantly admitted
“Then you need to stop letting her treat you like your little pet and make her realise you’re here and a viable option. And that starts with telling her how you feel, even if she’s too busy to hear it. Put yourself out there.” Scorpius realised she was right as he thought back to the many times he’d put her first without even thinking of his own feelings, now was the one time he needed to think about himself and stop thinking about whether it inconvenienced Rose and tell her how he felt.
“I will if you will.” Scorpius challenged. Sienna read his face for a moment realising how serious he was.
“Okay fine. By the end of the summer, I’ll tell Albus if you tell Rose.”
“Deal.” Scorpius and Sienna shook hands and for the first time Scorpius wondered how he and Sienna had avoided properly talking up until now. She felt like the first person to really be able to understand what he was going through; he felt a kinship with Sienna he hadn’t felt with anybody else. Maybe this was what it felt like to have a sister, someone to always have your back even when she’d constantly annoying you.
“Come on Blondie, if we waste anymore time Freckles is going to have us hung, drawn and quartered by the school gates!”
“I don’t get it! Why do you keep calling me Blondie, your blonde too!” Scorpius finally spoke up about the question that had been bugging him since he met her. Sienna laughed as he leant up to put her arm around his shoulder and rustle his hair.
“I have my reasons, not that you’ll ever find them out, Blondie.”
The next morning the Hogwarts ground became entirely unrecognizable almost over night. Banners, streamers & balloons had filled the grounds, the quidditch pitch had been transformed into a competition and entertainment ground with a duelling ground on the one side, a wizard on a pedestal doing various transfiguration tricks to an impressed group of children, a flying display from the English national quidditch team and various other attractions, mainly designed to keep the large number of young children and teenagers occupied. Between the pitch and the castle a multitude of tables of covered in every food and drink known to man had been prepared, thousands of blanket and sun blocking umbrellas had been set out next to it for families to sit and eat the prepared food in a picnic style. At the base grounds of the castle a podium had been set up ready for the number of speakers the ministry had managed to procure, highlights included the opening speech by Minister for magic herself, Hermione Granger, a message on the importance of preserving Hogwarts by former headmistress Minerva McGonagall and a most anticipated inspirational speech from the man himself, Harry Potter. A number of benches had been set up between Hagrid’s hut and the Herbology green houses to view the speeches, Headmaster Harlow had tried to place some under the Whomping willow but the tree had simply swatted them away until they simply gave up trying and moved the benches just out of the trees reach. Many local businesses had set up stalls for people to sample and buy their products in the designated stall area by the lake reaching around to the boating house. By far the most exciting though was the huge preparation area along the right-side of the lake where a multitude of fireworks were being set up for what was sure to be a fantastic closing display.
As Albus watched the mass crowds began to seep through the mass security set up at the gates. He knew he wouldn’t be catching a glimpse of his father among the crowd, oh no. His father would already be in headmaster’s office. Both his Father and Rose’s Mother were far to important to be let in with the rest of the crowds, they’d likely be preparing their speech in there already. Albus was thankful when all the other boys in his dorm room had began to filter out so he could enjoy at least a few moments peace before he had to meet his father and play perfect son again. As Albus buttoned up his smartest maroon shirt and dark blue jeans he couldn’t help but wonder how it felt to just have a normal family. Not to have a hundred photos taken of him or every watching and listen to him as he spoke to his dad. But just to be able to simply be with his dad like any other normal kid. But he wasn’t any normal kid and his dad wasn’t a normal dad, he was a Potter. He learnt long ago that came with sacrifices when it came to the press. As Albus did up his shoelaces Rose stuck her head through the door.
“Are you still not ready! Professor Harlow was very clear that we were to be in his office at EXACTLY 9am! Come on!” Albus quickly finished his shoelaces and examined his hair in the mirror, desperately trying to get it to lie flat, if it lay flat maybe he’d look a little bit less like him… but just his luck even his hair failed him. Eventually he gave up and turned to follow Rose who Albus couldn’t help but noticed looked perfect for the occasion. Rose’s hair looked neater than he’d ever seen it Albus wondered how long it had taken her to get it to fall flat in the twisted bun behind her head. Albus hadn’t seen Rose in makeup before at least not that he’d ever noticed. Her eyes had a hint of blue eye shadow behind and her peach lip gloss was undeniable. Albus hadn’t been aware till now that Rose even had her ears pierced but the blue studs in her ears looked lovely next to her sapphire sun dress. As he came closer, he noticed she seemed taller, almost the same size of him now and he realised she was wearing heels. He hadn’t seen Rose in formal wear before, he was used to her jumpers and tights he supposed he shouldn’t have been that surprised but she looked so comfortable in her formal wear that Albus was painfully reminded of how much more she fit into this famous parent world than he did. Everything about Rose exuded the daughter of the minister of magic whereas nothing about Albus screamed son of a famous hero. As he and Rose met up with their siblings and headed towards the office a looming sense of dread filled into Albus’ gut. As they opened the doors Albus was first greeted by his mother in her tight green dress who gave him a hug. Albus found his mother was a lot easier to deal with than his father most of the time, but events like this often reminded Albus that his mother was also a famous quidditch player as well as a war hero, meaning she was just another person for Albus to let down. As his mother straightened his brother’s shirt and brushed off his sister’s skirt, she talked the three of them through various things the press might ask them and what to say and what not say. Albus tried to focus but all Albus could focus on was the mounting tension filling in his gut. In a few moments he’d step out there and thousands of pictures would be taken all day of him and his parents and if he didn’t do everything just right they’d all be discussing how he was the disappointment of the family again, no matter what his mother was telling him Albus knew there was only one rule today, don’t be himself. No one wanted him today they wanted the perfect little image they’d created of Harry Potter’s son and he needed to be that, or he’d disappoint everyone. The all too familiar buzzing filled Albus’ ears as his thoughts flooded with all the things he had to do and say to make sure everything he did was what they all wanted. Suddenly Albus was brought out of his spiralling thoughts by his fathers’ hand on his shoulder.
“You doing okay bud?” Harry looked down at his youngest son. Albus gently nodded. “Should be a fun day all in all.” His father stared out of the window listening to the gathering masses outside.
Albus couldn’t help but think about how easy it was for his father to go out there and make all the public appearances and still have fun doing it. Albus couldn’t enjoy a day filled with worrying about what everyone else was going to think about him or print about him, how could he do it all so easily? The speeches, the press, being that heroic person, they all wanted to see. Of course, it was easy for him Albus thought, he’s not pretending like I am, that’s just who he is, none of this is me.
“Is Uncle Charlie coming today dad?” Lily asked as she came up next to Albus. Harry was brought away from his thoughts and looked down at his daughter with a smile.
“Of course! He’s the one in charge of the dragon they’ve got opposite the greenhouses.” Lily’s face immediately lit up and Harry chucked as he watched his daughter’s immediate excitement.
“Look guys, if nothing else please just remember this, just be on your best behaviour and remember your representing not just yourself but all of us today… that means you James! I don’t want to deal with another junior marauders prank today, especially not Infront of all this press!” Ginny’s strict expression turned towards her eldest child who smiled wickedly at her.
“Wouldn’t dream of it mum!” James laughed at Ginny’s narrowed eyes.
Albus once again wondered how the thought of representing the ultimate war hero didn’t absolutely terrify his siblings the way it made him almost want to vomit. He noticed Rose and Hugo talking with there mother on the other side of the room and wondered if they were getting a similar speech or if aunt Hermione and uncle Ron just knew that Rose and Hugo would be perfect representations of them.
“It’s time” Professor Harlow gently tapped Aunt Hermione’s shoulder and Albus took a deep breath knowing what that meant… time for the charade to begin.
Thalia was excitedly showing her parents and little sister Violet around the school, and with Albus and Rose preoccupied with their parents, Scorpius had no choice but the find a bench and sit alone waiting for the opening speech, that was until Sienna sat down next to him.
“This seat taken?” Scorpius gestured for her to sit down and smiled over, realising that she wasn’t just making sure he wasn’t alone, she was making sure she wasn’t alone either. Scorpius’ smile faulted as he caught sight of a figure behind her in a smart coat, a coat Scorpius recognised, as the stranger turned to face him Scorpius was left to wonder, why on earth his father was here.
As Thalia sat Violet on her knee while the minister gave her speech on the importance of coming together as a community. she was reminded of how amazing magic had felt to her at 6 years old too, the wonder in Violets eyes reminded her of the first time she’d seen hogwarts.
“Balloon!” Violet shouted in excitement as she caught sight of a bunch of green, red, yellow and blue balloons meant to represent all the hogwarts houses. As Thalia watched her almost jump out of her arms pointing at the balloons she smiled.
“Go on then, go get one” She resigned herself much to her 6-year-old sister’s joy. Thalia placed her onto the ground and watched her run off to man nearly handing out the balloons to the children. Thalia glanced up to see Rose solemnly stood by her mothers’ side and was realised how well Rose fit into the role of minister’s daughter, her put together demeaner made her perfect for the role. Thalia made a mental note to remember to introduce her parents to Rose, it would be nice for them to see she had some friends here.
Thalia glanced back over to see if Violet had selected her balloon yet and her heart skipped a beat as she realised, she couldn’t see her anymore.
After her mother’s speech Rose had taken multiple photos for the press and answered some of there questions, after which she had some time to enjoy the day. She, Hugo and their parents had enjoyed a lovely lunch on one of the picnic blankets before entering the stadium, formerly the quidditch pitch. Rose knew how anxious these public events made her younger brother, so she resolved to keep him close to allow her to step in if needs be with any pushy photographer or rude interviewer. As Rose was taking note of the fantastic quidditch display and remarking to her father how much more remarkable it would be if they’d got the Chuddley canons, her and her fathers’ favourite team. Rose felt her arm being tugged away. She looked up to find a particularly star eyed woman who’d just snapped a photo of her.
“Rose! What’s your opinion on your mothers new law allowing the recognition of centaur land rights?” As Rose gave her standard rehearsed answer, she got hounded with more an more questions, each one she tried to answer with the same composure, she’d practiced this after all Rose noticed her family had moved on and quickly excused herself. It wasn’t long before she found her fathers familiar orange hair and re-joined them. Only to notice one significant member missing, her brother Hugo.
“What are you doing here!” Scorpius hissed, after the speech he’d excused himself from Sienna and made his way over to the bench his father was sitting on alone. He had managed to gain significant attention; it was hard for Scorpius not to hear the whispering as people stared at them.
“There are no restrictions on who can attend this event, and as a father of a pupil at the school I felt it my place to…” Draco failed to meet the desperation in his sons’ eyes willing him to be anywhere else.
“It’s NOT your place!” Scorpius tried not to raise his voice so as not to attract anymore onlookers.
“Scorpius, you don’t talk to me like that!” The all too familiar firmness filled Draco’s voice mixed with a hint of surprise at having his son speak back to him.
“I will speak to you however I want. Go home father. This is a celebration, a day of remembrance and joy and your presence here is unwelcome” Draco looked down his nose at Scorpius meeting his eyes for the first time.
“You haven’t been home…” Draco began changing the subject Scorpius quickly cut him off.
“I’m staying with extended family. Now why are you here.” Scorpius met his father’s eyes with a fierce defiance his father didn’t recognise in him. There was a hint of pride in his face that filled Scorpius with hatred.
“I’m just as entitled to be here as anyone else. Are you going to join me in seeing the activities of the day?” Scorpius’ body filled with disgust; this was a press opportunity for him. A chance to parade his son around to show their family paying their respects and making amends, except he didn’t mean any of it.
“No. This may just be a chance to be seen for you, but it actually means something to those people who fought in the battle, lost people… how could you use that as a publicity scheme!”
“I…” Scorpius cut him off by walking away. It made him sick to his stomach to stay there a moment longer, he looked out to try to find Sienna but found she’d left her seat at there previous bench and saw trace of her.
As lunch time began to approach Albus mentally congratulated himself for making it through half the day without breaking. He’d smiled for all the photos, answered all the questions and withstood all the stares. But as he stood in the transfiguration yard with his father and brother listening to his father rehearse his speech Albus knew his real challenge would be in the next few minutes. Getting through his dads’ speech without breaking would easily be his hardest task, luckily, he was saved from his downwards thoughts by his mother’s abrupt entrance to the courtyard that had stopped his father in his tracks.
“Any sign of her?” Harry asked Ginny, fiddling with his cue cards out of habit.
“Nothing! Last I saw her she went to see Charlie and the dragon, but Charlie said she wandered off, I can’t seem to find her. We’ll just have to do it without her!” Ginny sighed. Lily’s frequent wondering trips had often been a point of annoyance with his parents.
“Oh, Merlin it’ll look awful if it’s just the boys, I can see the headlines now, they’ll say we’re neglecting her!” Harry argued, Ginny sympathetically met her eyes.
“You’re on in 2 minutes there’s not a lot we can do. Hopefully she’ll turn up, but you know what Lily’s like! What else can we do?” Albus’ wondered what adventure his sister was having this time and as his parents discussed their options Albus’ couldn’t help himself but wonder towards the window and glance out at the crowd. Wondering where his sister had disappeared off too this time.

Fourth of July Magic
A lot of things come to mind when I think of The 4th of July. I’m reminded of red, white, and blue streamers, the whistling sounds of fireworks, and let's not forget the savory smell of barbeque on the grill. Now imagine that on a grander scale which includes elevated foods and drinks, a firework's production, multiple parades, and an overwhelming sense of joy. Are you picturing it? If so, great; because Disney World has that and much, much more. Here is a closer look on how Disney celebrates America's Independence Day!
(credit: Disney)
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is known for its larger than life fireworks. On the evenings of July 3rd and July 4th, guests will see a spectacular sky performance matched with a patriotic musical score. Earlier in the day, you can catch The Muppets Presents: Great Moments in American History in Liberty Square. All your favorite characters will be part of the production, showing off their patriotic duty in a whimsical way. The event is performed several times a day. Another tradition is the Flag Retreat which takes on Main Street U.S.A. During the event, a veteran is selected for the honor and guests can pledge allegiance and hear patriotic songs as the flag is lowered. Delicious food is everywhere including a quick serve spot called “Casey's Corner” which has a yummy footlong all-beef hot dog on the menu.
(credit: Disney)
Hollywood Studios
Star Wars is definitely the biggest pop culture contributor to the Disney franchise, and this accomplishment has not gone unnoticed. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular show is truly one-of-a-kind and will leave you in awe. The Carolina Footlong is a tasty meal you can enjoy while watching the fireworks show. This quick serve meal can be found at “Dockside Diner”.
Epcot
One of Disney's yearly tradition is the Voices of Liberty acapella group. An amazing group of performers can be seen inside The American Adventure pavilion on July 4th and they have their special performances at the America Garden Theatre. As some traditions continue, others will soon come to a close. The nighttime finale of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth will have its final 4th of July performance as it is scheduled to end September 30, 2019. While visiting Epcot, “Liberty Inn” quick serve has a mouth-watering pull pork sandwich to top off your day.
Animal Kingdom
When it comes to live performances, Animal Kingdom is my favorite park to visit. The Rivers of Light: We Are One captures the essence of mankind and animal. With the beautiful stars, fireworks, and Disney animal-inspired themes including scenes from "The Lion King"; this event will not disappoint. The show is scheduled for two nightly performances. Be sure to visit "Flame Tree Barbeque" because there's a delicious rib meal with your name on it.
There are plenty things to do and plenty to see, so do not forget the amazing photographers known as Disney cast members who are waiting to take your photos. The best part is you can show your Patriotic spirit in many ways with Disney Photo Pass services. Options include: 1776 era themed photos, 4th of July props, and unique angled videos of the park. Of course, this is a limited-time offer that begins July 3rd to July 4th at various locations throughout Magic Kingdom. There's more to cover like the waterparks, Disney Springs, and the Resorts; but I'll leave it to my Disney travellers to join in on the discussion.
Please add to the fun. Disney has wonderful food! What Disney deserts are in store for us during 4th of July? Looking for ways to celebrate a fun Independence Day at home? Try out this Mickey Mouse: Red, White, and Blue Patriotic Cookies (credit: Patty Holliday).

Dad Letter 050519
5 May, 2019
Dear Dad--
Happy Sunday! Hope it’s as beautiful where you are as it is in Austin. We got some heavy rain (like...biblically heavy, with flooding, water rescues, the whole shit) a couple of days ago, and now everything green is experiencing explosive growth. It kinda looks like the end of Logan’s Run, when they go to Washington, D.C. and everything’s covered with vines and weeds. Zach and I just got back from our weekly breakfast taco peregrination, and it was as satisfying as always.
That thunderstorm was about the most exciting thing that happened in the past week. It was supposed to rain all last week, and just because I was looking forward to it, it hardly rained at all. Then Friday night happened, and we got (I think about) five inches of rain in roughly as many hours. It was mildly exciting! Because I live on the third floor, which means I’m at no risk of flooding, but at greater risk of tornado-ing, and by the way, I may not get flooded all the way up here, but my A/C unit, electrical lines, etc. might., because a lot of that stuff is down there on the ground. Again, through, I have insurance, and I try not to have too much sentimentality for the stuff I own, lest I lose it. So the apocalyptic rain didn’t damage anything, and it kinda scrubbed my car clean.
Pardons for making talk about the weather. It really was bad enough that the cat freaked out and went to his safe spot. I hear they make special garments (Thundershirts!) for cats and dogs that get freaked out over loud noises, like thunder or 4th of July fireworks.
Something happened at work on Friday, also: my friend Alissa and I were taken off the tasks we were doing and instructed to get up to speed on a different, new process that we are to help with. The new process has eight jillion steps, involves all kinds of different apps and websites, requires all this THINKING, and is generally too hard to understand after just 2-3 hours of working on it. And that’s how Friday ended. Alissa and I were struggling through this new process, very slowly and unsteadily, consulting our notes, and feeling not the least bit competent about it. I brought some of the instructions home and I’ll re-read them today, to keep as much of it in my head as possible. And I’ll start working on it again Monday morning.
As if by an afterthought, we are going to Boulder next weekend! That means I probably won’t be emailing next weekend, at least not until later in the evening, because we’ll be flying. And it feels odd. We originally wanted to see what it’s like for folks who live there, but have since determined we can’t afford to move there. So we’re just going to Boulder because we already paid for the plane tickets and the room, an incidental vacation, as it were. We’ll rent a car and zip around the city and see some mountains and eat at a place called Smashburger. We heard of Smashburger on the internet; it’s actually a kind of upscale burger place. In other words, and this is true, it’s a place that does burgers, but also cares about presentation, making sure it combines good ingredients to be delicious, AND to look beautiful on the plate, so people will want to take pictures of it (of their HAMBURGERS) with their cell phones.
Now, the last time Zach and I went on a vacation, we went to Seattle, and the flight back was a nightmare. It didn’t leave until 11:00 at night, and it never landed in Austin, because the weather was too bad. That was the time they flew us to Houston instead, and said, “Okay, get out,” and we had to rent a car and drive home from Houston, through thunderstorms. Perhaps this is a first world problem, but ohmygod, that was such a nightmare. We want to get home, we get a shitty overnight flight, we get to Austin, and they literally can’t land the plane, so we end up in Houston. We imagined the cat was home, contemplating suicide, since Zach and I were obviously never coming home again. Stacy offered to come to Houston to rescue us! I should have let her.
So this time we’re a bit gun-shy about the flying. We wonder if bad weather might happen (which, quite obviously, is not out of the question), causing us end up someplace we never wished to visit. “Sorry, Denver International is closed due to blizzard conditions, so we’re flying everyone to Dover, Deleware instead.” I’m guessing the chances of this happening are not great, but hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
I suppose I should just shut up and relax and enjoy visiting Boulder, Colorado in the spring. The nearby mountains are called The Flatirons, and I plan to photograph the shit out of them. And Boulder actually has the same taco establishment (Torchy’s Tacos) where we eat breakfast every Sunday, so we’ll be able to have the same thing in Boulder! I know we probably shouldn’t do that. We should eschew the familiar for something local and different and new! Except fuck that, because when you find a place that does tacos fifty times better than the next best place, you stick with it, if you can. One thing I have always liked about Austin is that it gives people strong opinions about tacos. This must be similar to the passion some people feel about their local sports team.
Oh, speaking of which, I just saw a T-shirt online that I’m going to have to buy for myself, because it perfectly encapsulates how I feel about sports. The shirt says, “I Just Hope Both Teams Have Fun.”
More next week. Love to you both!

The Stables (Jumin x MC)
Victorian! AU: You’re invited to Jumin’s to visit his estate.
Word Count: 1298
Fun fact before I could pronounce horse I would call them Nee-Nees. I also really REALLY loved horses. I have a big boy named Socks, and I love him. Anyhow, I hope you have a splendid day and enjoy! Thank you!
Other Victorian!AU prompts:

—————————————————————————————————-----------
Wednesday couldn’t have come fast enough, each day seemingly dragging until it arrived.
You could hardly contain your excitement, tapping your feet anxiously as your carriage lead by horses trotted down the cobblestone streets to what you could only imagine to be his grand estate.
Yet you couldn't care less about the property.
What mattered was getting to see Jumin.
Just the thought made your heart flutter.
It was odd, though, this had never happened before.
Perhaps he was just as confused as you?
You were snapped from your thoughts eventually however as the carriage came to a halt before a massive home that seemed larger than life itself with the ornate build and grandeur of it all.
Your jaw nearly dropped, hardly able to draw your attention away even as you stepped out.
Yet you were quickly drawn to something else, lighting up like a firework in the dead of night.
Jumin.
He stood just before the opened brass gate, giving you a prompt bow as he greeted you.
“Good afternoon MC.”
You quickly noticed he wasn’t wearing his typical suit, instead wearing khaki breeches and a tweed jacket, riding boots as well replacing his usual attire.
You curtsied chuckling. “Good afternoon Jumin, did you just get back from riding?”
“No, but I was about to visit the stables. I don’t suppose you’re much of a rider yourself?”
“I’m afraid not.” You shook your head. “Certainly not your level at least.” You thought for a moment, enveloping your fingertips together. “What sort of riding do you do anyways?”
“I do National Hunt Racing. Instead of simply racing on flat land they add in obstacles.” He hummed. “I usually ride out along the trail behind the house. It’s very nice, I think you’d like it.”
He pointed out the trail leading into a sea of trees, shrubs, and woods, as though it were an entirely different world.
“That’s assuming you can even get me onto a horse.”
“It’s not hard I promise. The horses here are very well trained and gentle. They’ll suit you fine.”
“Do you have a specific horse you ride?”
Jumin nodded as you entered the stables, the sound of cobblestone echoing against your heels.
Lanterns hung overhead, just before the numerous walls of wooden pens, glimpses of the horses catching your eye.
“Yes, I do. I’ve been racing with her since I started partaking in the competitions.”
He stopped before one of them, opening it slowly to reveal a slender, sleek thoroughbred mare towering above you.
Her mane was tied into hunter braids, a piercing blue gaze staring back at your curiously.
“Her name is Elizabeth 3rd. She was the first I was given when I arrived here.”
“Who gave her to you?”
“It was an old friend of mine, Rika. She was V’s fiance. I’m sure he’s told you about her plenty.”
Memories flooded into your mind of V as he would ramble about little details about her, an adoring glimmer painting his expression the moment her name ever came up.
You had never met her, though.
But he had shown you enough photographs to feel as if you had before she passed.
“Oh yes, I knew about her.” You exclaimed. “She sure did give you a stunning horse.”
“Yes, she did. Would you like to pet her? I think it might help you feel a bit more comfortable.”
“U-Um...”
“Here, let me help.”
He took your hand, guiding it to Elizabeth’s snout as she lowered it, sniffing you before your fingers was raised right above her nostril.
Her coat was softer than silk as she let out a soft breath of approval, sinking into your touch.
Jumin lowered his hold away, watching as you began to stroke her face, comfort beginning to settle in you.
“It looks like she’s fond of you,” He proclaimed. “I don’t know what I expected, though.”
“What do you mean?”
Pink dusted his cheeks for a moment, as he confessed.
“...Well, I just don’t know how anyone could dislike someone as lovely as you if I’m to be honest.”
“O-Oh.” You stuttered, reddening. “T-Thank you.”
“A-Anyhow!” His gaze darted to the ground, hurrying out as he attempted to hide his embarrassment. “L-Let me show you a horse I think you’ll work well with.”
He led you a few stalls down, opening the door to unveil a smooth, proud chestnut thoroughbred, white socks wrapping up to their knees, and a diamond patch of the same color upon their muzzle.
“This is Theodosia.”
She gave a small snort, stepping with perplexity towards you.
“She’s very nice, go ahead and let her sniff your hand.”
You did as he said, Theodosia quickly lightening as you began to pet her, a quiet whinny escaping her.
“Here, while I get Elizabeth 3rd ready, I’ll have one of the stablehands help you get her set up.”
“Set up? What for?”
“A ride of course.”
The stablehand had been quiet most of the time, only speaking to instruct you on how to manage the other side.
You thanked them as they finished, their only response being a mere dip of the head before giving you the reins.
You lead Theodosia out of her stall, finding Jumin waiting for you patiently.
“I hope you didn’t have much trouble did you?”
“O-Oh no! The people here have been very polite.” You frowned. “B-But are you sure about a ride? I-I’ve never even ridden a h-horse before really.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on you in case anything happens. Let me know if anything is wrong and I’ll keep a hold of the reins and help you until you feel comfortable.” He cooed. “Trust me, I won’t let anything hurt you.”
And you didn’t have a doubt in your mind.
You nodded, watching a gentle smile draw to his lips.
“Now, do you know how to get onto a horse?”
You didn’t respond, watching as he gave a content reply.
“Alright, just do as I say okay? It’s fairly simple, but I know it was hard my first time.”
He knelt down, reaching out his hands to his lifted knee. “Use my hands for support. I’ll give you a boost when I stand up so that you’ll be able to lift your body onto the saddle. But be sure to round your left leg to the other side.”
“I’ll try.”
“Sounds good.”
You set your foot onto his palm, feeling his body lift as he stood, your other leg stretching out to the other side, finding its place on the left stirrup as your other foot did on the opposite side.
You let out a delighted squeak, beaming. “I-I did it!”
Jumin took your hand for a moment, giving a tender squeeze that left your heart near bursting.
“You did wonderfully.” He said, soon taking his place on Elizabeth 3rd before turning back to you with that same tint in his eyes that were only aimed towards you.
“So, would you do me the honor of joining me for a ride?”
You replied with utter certainty, a dash of red painting his features at your quick response.
“I’d love to.”

Do’s and Do Not’s
"Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit." --e. e. cummings
Happy Halloween, everyone!
It’s been Halloween in Disney since August, so even the most ardent Halloween lovers are getting tired of it. Thankfully, in Disney, as soon as Halloween stops, Christmas begins! The Christmas season is my favorite time of year, and I know I’m not alone- my trainer at my new job says that the music they play during the holiday season makes the guests happier and friendlier!
Speaking of my new job, it’s going great! I just finished my second day of training and I’m having so much fun. On day one we had a tour of Magic Kingdom and got to experience some of the fun Main Street has to offer, like meeting Tinker Bell, riding the steam train, and watching the Festival of Fantasy parade!
Today, we got to watch (and participate in!) the Move It, Shake It, Dance, and Play It Street Party! We watched as the parade came down Main Street and into the Central Plaza in front of Cinderella castle, then we all joined in the fun as the characters led everyone in a big dance party!
We looked totally foolish, but had so much fun. We helped escort the parade, danced with two ADORABLE tiny princesses, and hung out in the street with Nick Wilde from Zootopia. And that was just what we did before lunch!
I’m really enjoying my new role and I can’t wait to learn more about it. I have my first shift working the beloved Happily Ever After fireworks show tomorrow night, and then I’ll be trained on day parades like Festival of Fantasy and Move It, Shake It, and special events like the Christmas Parade!
I’m also looking forward to having family visit this week! This will be my first family visit since I’ve arrived in Orlando, and I want their trip to be the best it can be. As a result, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make the most of a Disney vacation, and I’d like to share with you some of my Disney Do’s and Do Not’s so those of you planning vacations or CP’s can enjoy them as much as possible! Let’s get started!
-DO: be respectful to Cast Members, no matter what! This should really be a no brainer. We’re people too! Listen to Cast Members when we give you directions or instructions and speak to us politely when you have a question or complaint. With very few exceptions, we want to make your visit as amazing and special as possible. Trust me, we’re not here for the money: we’re all here because there was something about the story and mission of Disney World that spoke to us. Sometimes we do have to tell you things that are less than magical, but don’t shoot the messenger; if a Cast Member tells you something that you don’t want to hear, like a ride is closed or they can’t find your dining reservation, please stay calm and courteous while you work with them to find a solution. Cast Members are trained to do anything in our power to keep our guests happy, and if you are patient and understanding I PROMISE you will get better service than someone who is screaming and causing a scene. We will take care of whatever problems you encounter in the park, and if you feel like a Cast Member isn’t, all you need to do is politely ask to speak to their Coordinator or Leader. These are people who have been with the company for a long time; they’re the Disney equivalent of managers. They are experts at Guest Relations and if you feel like a regular Cast Member hasn’t taken care of your needs, they will be more than happy to step in and help.
-DON’T: assume that you know better than a Cast Member. This is my pet peeve. If a Slide Operations CM asks you to take off your sunglasses, don’t say “oh, they’re on a cord, they’ll be fine.” If a Parade Audience Control CM tells you not to stand in the parade route, don’t say “oh, well I could stand here when I saw the parade six months ago.” Every single rule at Disney World is in place for a reason. They are there because something happened and we don’t want it to happen again. Sometimes rules change. If you’re curious about why a rule is in place, it’s totally okay to ask, as long as you’re polite about it and open-minded about the response. We LOVE big Disney fans, but no one knows everything about how the parks operate- not even us! Rules are set by people several steps above us, and even Coordinators and Leaders can’t change them. If you have a concern, feel free to bring it up to one of these higher-ranking CM’s- as I said before, they’re happy to help.
-DO: your research! I cannot stress this enough. Especially if you’re traveling with children or guests with special needs/accommodations, be as prepared as you can be. Know which rides have super high waits so you can use your FastPasses accordingly. KNOW HOW TALL YOUR CHILDREN ARE, in inches if possible! Disney’s measuring system isn’t perfect, I’ll admit- there’s room for human error. If you know your child is juuuust at 48 inches or 44 inches or whatever the height requirement is for a ride, you can mentally prepare yourself (and your child!) to be turned away and sent to another attraction. If this happens, you can always ask the Cast Member what they recommend instead. If you’re traveling with a guest who will need any kind of accommodation, know ahead of time what they will need and talk to a Cast Member at the park as soon as you can. Know which rides can accommodate wheelchairs and which rides require transfers, which rides have loud noise or flashing lights, etc, etc. All of this information, and I do mean all of it, can be found in the My Disney Experience app. You can look up any attraction and see height requirements, accessibility information, current wait time, and a description of the ride.
-DON’T: force your child to go on a ride. “What?!” you say. “Who would do that?!” Believe it or not, in my time as an attractions CM, I have seen SO. MANY. PARENTS physically force or bully their children onto a ride they are terrified of. Not only is this, in my opinion, awful on a moral level, but it’s not safe. If your child stands up or starts thrashing around on the ride, they could be seriously hurt. It doesn’t matter if the ride is one we commonly deem as “not scary”; kids don’t know any better. If your child is getting nervous about going on a ride, ask a Cast Member if you can step out of line and watch for a little bit. Talk to them. Try to build up their courage and lead them to the decision to go on the ride for themselves. If all else fails and they just aren’t ready, don’t ride the attraction. I’m sorry. Being a parent is about sacrifice- Disney World is no different.
-DO: take alternative forms of transportation home from Magic Kingdom at night! This is very specific but really one of the best pieces of advice I can give. It is always a zoo getting out of MK after the evening fireworks. It just is. Anytime between then and park close is just as bad, no matter how long you wait. This is because, unlike the other parks, Magic Kingdom doesn’t connect directly to its parking lot: guests must take a monorail, boat, or bus to get in and out. YOUR FASTEST OPTIONS IN THE EVENING ARE:
-the Resort Monorail (stop #2 is the Transportation and Ticket Center, or TTC, where the parking lot is)
-the Resort launches (small boats that take you to the resorts around the Lagoon; get off at the Polynesian and walk to the TTC, about 10 minutes)
-Disney buses (take a left when you exit the park; there are two bus lines that run to the TTC and they’re usually not as popular. Ask a Main Entrance CM for more information)
-DON’T be afraid to take breaks! Yes, the parks are awesome, but it is so easy to burn out if you plan to be there all day. Head back to the hotel in the afternoon for a nap and a swim, then come back or head to another park for the evening. If you do choose to stay in a park all day, build in some quality rest time; all parks have “decompression zones” designed to be a little quieter and more peaceful. You know what I’m gonna say: Ask a CM where they are and take all the time you need to sit, charge your phone, and rest up for the rest of your day.
-DO: bring water and snacks! You’re allowed to bring in all the outside food and drink that you want (except alcohol), so take advantage of it! I’m not going to lie, park food and bev is EXPENSIVE. A bottle of water is $3.50 now. Bring your own water bottle and ask any quick service food location for cups of ice water to refill it with- they’re free! If you have picky eaters or you’re just looking to save some cash, bring your own meals and snacks, too! I will often head to a park around 2 with my water bottle, a couple snacks, and a sandwich, and stay there quite happily until close without buying anything. Another money-saving pro tip: buy kid’s meals! Disney portions are huge anyway and CM’s will always let you get one- you could be buying it for a younger sibling or child!
-DON’T: get lost in the photographs. Please, take pictures of your vacation! Those memories are so special- I would never ask anyone to stop taking pictures of their friends and family. However, I have seen guests become so absorbed in documenting their vacation, they forget to experience it! Those pictures could vanish any day. Your camera might get stolen, your phone might get wet, but you will have your memories forever. Make good ones. Don’t stop every five minutes in the Flight of Passage queue to snap a selfie: take one or two or three, then enjoy the beautiful surroundings for yourself. Don’t hold your phone in the air, filming the entire 20 minute fireworks show; really watch it. It’s spectacular. If you want to relive it at home, there are dozens of professional recordings on YouTube. Plus, the constant photography can be annoying to other guests if it holds up a line or blocks someone’s view: be aware of those around you and pick appropriate times to get your phone or camera out.
That’s it! Ta da!!!! Obviously, all opinions expressed here are my own, and they are just that: opinions! I’m sure other people will have their own thoughts and that’s just fine. These are some things I have learned in my three months here, but every experience is unique- do what you need you for your own personal visit. If you’re planning a trip and have any specific questions, just ask! I don’t profess to know everything, but I love Disney and I want to help everyone else enjoy it as much as I can.
Thanks for bearing with me through this long, ramble-y post. I hope it was helpful at most, informative at least. Coming up: Working a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, birthday fun, and more Main Street Merriness.
Have a magical day, everyone!
