CPN : 3/24 LRLG Post

As if the excitement that we all have today, the eve of Weibo Night where they will be at the same event isn’t enough, LRLG had to go ahead and bless us with an update. A very recent one at that. Usually, the contributions shared to us are events that happened months ago. This is why we are able to match which is which fairly easily or notice something we haven’t before.

It starts of saying “today”, meaning this happened 3/24, XZ’s arrival in Shanghai. I have thoughts on LRLG deciding to share this today and who allowed it. If we’re going by the assumption/speculation/clownery— whatever you wanna call it, that these contributions are sent out with xz/wyb’s “blessing” then there must be a reason why they are switching from the usual pattern. They could have easily shared this after the whole weibo night craziness. As what they did in previous events, but they didn’t. So what’s changed? I’m not looking at this as a negative in any way, I am just curious. Did they see how excited BXGs are so decided to give us something? Are they also just dying to be in one place again so they are sharing this happiness to us? No matter the answer, All I can say is : “Bless Shanghai!🙏🏼”

now onto the fake rumor itself. same disclaimer applies. this is all fan fiction. ‼️

It starts with a phone conversation ( i think ) between the boys and it’s mostly yibo. As you will notice in this entire scene/s, it’s all on WYB’s perspective ( literally only one red circle in the entire post ) so again, we have an additional “clue” that this lrlg person is from wyb’s team.

WYB: "Wear more when you come"

XZ: "Okay, I'll use it for you..."

WYB : "sock"

WYB: "I can't see your news anymore, you tell xx"

WYB: "good"

This exchange is so simple and sweet. Their love language is being attentive towards each other and what the other might need, even as “simple” as needing extra clothes to wear because of the weather. And so GG decides to wear a Tod’s biker jacket that makes him look so sexy instead ( as seen in photos / videos of him boarding the plane today and arriving ). 😂😂😂 I mean, WYB & I are not complaining with his choice of clothes but I hope it does keep him warm. and GG’s “ i’ll use it for you..” he really can’t say No to his puppy. He will do it if his puppy wants it. I just. I’m done with them.

The next part is his staff ( a woman based on the emoji ) is saying how unfortunate it is that he has work today and he is mildly pissed that has to because if he didn’t, then he can pick GG up at the airport. I mean. That’s interesting. I wonder if he did that before and i’m surprised at how brave he is to even consider “planning” to do that out of all days. It’s the day before WB night, paps are waiting for all the celebrities to arrive at the airport so if he goes — there is a higher chance for him to get spotted compared to just the normal day. Or maybe he knows the ins & outs already as he’s almost always filming in Shanghai over the past years so he might know how to make it happen.

Then you have a scene where people are playing cards, and I think there is drinks involved. but he ( wyb ) can’t come and join because he has works. The people are telling him to try and join because tomorrow ( WB night ) is busy and there will be lots of material to shoot. I just love WYB’s dedication to work and cackling at the emojis LRLG is using for him — I can totally picture his face like this and going “what are you all doing???”

in the meantime when the subject is XZ, he all sweet smiles.

I don’t know if he’s fuckin trolling himself at this point, because this is same/similar label said about him by that yangyang paparazzi. the same one he refuted was false because they were saying he single then the next sentence has ambiguous relationship with an older woman and so on.

so i am looking at this like, he’s trolling and this only applies to GG. It’s not necessarily real for him, cause i highly doubt it— looking at how they live and thrive as individuals too. He’s using it and also making fun of that ridiculous rumor spread about him.

They said they will fix just small things he can carry and also provide him warmer. Awwww. They are so sweet and caring of Bobo 🥹

yeah, the confidentiality agreement kinda threw me off but at the very least, she didn’t share a video or actual photo. that should keep them a bit safer. and anyway, not that i doubted this candy or szd at any point.

Cheng Yi has posted a comic strip she commissioned, and in the comments said that the confidentiality agreement has expired and she is now free to reveal that the comic accurately illustrates what she witnessed during the recording of Wuji.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I'm not at all surprised. I think we all suspected that they had a brief moment of holding hands during recording. It seemed pretty obvious given their facial expressions and demeanor.

On the other hand, the way she confirmed it so openly and referred to the expiration of the confidentiality agreement left the whole thing feeling a little awkward. It makes it clear that she is sharing something she would have otherwise been unable to share, and that begs the question of whether or not GG and DD would approve of her sharing this information.

So this isn't as exciting a candy as I would have expected it to be for me. No shade on anyone who gets excited about it, but it gives me more questions than it answers.

Of course everything could be totally aboveboard, and anyway it's not something that has much risk of harming GG and DD. I was just a bit surprised by how her confirmation made me feel less excited about the candy than before it was confirmed by her. 😅

I'm going to add a few points I made in the comments so that people can get a better sense of how I feel about some aspects of this revelation:

Remember they're not really at liberty to share anything about their private life, at least not directly. Anything that is shared about things like this is going to come from other people, or is going to come from an oblique angle.

They were also in a room full of cameras. You can see multiple cameras in the shot of the video of them recording. Even with confidentiality agreements, they know all such agreements expire. They likely knew that the recording could come out eventually. That is likely why it was such a brief handhold.

And it is also worth remembering that GG and DD have plausible deniability, because they were recording a song for the soundtrack of a drama they did together. There's nothing directly romantic or sexual about what's happening there. They could just be good friends holding hands. I don't think this poses any risk to them, not even if the actual video came out.

I’ve been super busy this month and haven’t been able to pay as much attention to fandom but I saw this today and…

Another thing that makes this interesting: the fact that it’s in a post tagging GQ 😏 Given all the rumors and drama that was swirling not long ago about their editor in chief and his potentially disparate feelings toward Yibo and XZ… It’s a bold move. (I’m not going to post any links to the Rocco rumors but they abound online if you look for them.)

I’m not proficient in mandarin, so while it seems to me that the use of the wording seems out of place for this post, I’m not qualified to completely call it out as sus.

But I am saying that if I was rumored to be in a [socially unaccepted yet wildly popular] relationship with my former co-star and it wasn’t true, I certainly wouldn’t throw fuel like this to the masses.

One of the best things about Xiao Zhan’s recent vlogs has been discovering new music and musicians! I am SO grateful to him for using a song by Sarah Kang, bcz I had no idea she existed and she’s now one of my new favorite artists 🥰💗 Such a beautiful voice! She’s an indie performer in the US and doesn��t have a huge following (yet!) So I got to thinking - how in the world did Xiao Zhan even hear about her??

Well, I think I might have found a clue 😏 I noticed that one of her Instagram followers is Henry Lau - who just happens to have been on SDC season 4 with Wang Yibo.

Sarah and Henry actually follow each other and have had some cute interactions! She is originally from South Korea, where Henry trained as an idol - I’m not sure exactly what the connection is, but it seems clear they know each other at least professionally!

It seems pretty likely to me that performers like Henry and Yibo (and Xiao Zhan) would talk about music and other artists, and make recommendations to each other based on those discussions. Or maybe they have a SDC captains group chat where they share about new artists they like? 😄

Either way, the ONLY connection I see for Chinese superstar Xiao Zhan to come across obscure US-based Korean talent Sarah Kang is through Yibo 🔥

I'm back to this "space-time loop" with birthdays again. When I see a huge number of coincidences and strange things, chaos appears in my head, so there is a desire to put it all in order.

All this is fake, CPN and my speculation.

So, on October 5th the magic circle with birthdays and DD's journey closed. New circumstances have emerged, and this makes this magic cycle even more interesting.

The Discovery episode about the desert was filmed in Inner Mongolia, this place is called 阿拉善 (Alxa League), a few hours drive from Lanzhou, where DD arrived, and it turns out that this is the same place where GG filmed his vlog on August 5, 2021, which was released on his birthday on October 5, 2021!

Of course, this is pure coincidence, perhaps this place is very suitable for filming picturesque desert landscapes, so different film crews at different times choose the same place. But it very luckily fell into this magic loop.

This year DD posted the photo of the desert with the caption "27" on August 5th, the desert episode came out on October 5th, and DD posted the photo of the desert on October 5th within 1 minute of XZS's post, and he put 3 emojis 3 times each — "33".

The turtles conducted an experiment on their phones, I don't really understand what this function is and how it works, but it is with this combination of emoticons with the tag #探索新境 that the number 33 appears. But the strangest thing is that if you enter this combination without the tag, you get 27! What kind of magic is this that connected the numbers of their ages?

If we continue playing with the number 33, it is literally everywhere: DD posted a total of 33 photos on his personal account during the series' release until October 5, on October 5 DD posted 6 more photos, and 6 is, as we know, 3+3. And also the connection between their ages: 27 is 3 cubed, that is, 27=33. I feel like my brain is refusing to process this information anymore!

In GG's night photos we can see deserted night streets of Beijing, but at the same time, on these streets, next to GG, motorcycles (or battery-powered cars that look like motorcycles) appear. What’s even more interesting is that in one of the photos, GG is standing next to a motorcycle, on the trunk of which, quite by chance, “Adventure” is written and a snowy mountain is depicted. This motorcycle is on the edge of the photo, it could easily be cropped. Why is it there?

At 11:59 PM, the last minute of October 5th, GG posted the video with he singing "Thank you for wishing me goodnight," this is the exact wish that DD had been saying in every part of his journey before going to sleep. And there is one more nuance: in the video, GG says the words “thank you” exactly at the 18th second, and the words “good night” at the 23rd. On this mysterious note, October 5th ended.

And this is just part of what happened on October 5th. Everyone has probably already heard about the same clothes, the portrait on the wall, DD's sudden love for bicycles…

And one more touching moment: by chance or not, but the last photo of the six DD's photos and of all the photos that DD posted during the Discovery show is a sunrise in the desert. It is so symbolic and so good, it looks like a good wish, like a good omen - the darkness will dissipate, and the dawn will surely come. May everything be well with them. 💚❤️.

So TIT Copenhagen, I have many thoughts and I decided that I would write them here.

We weren’t due to go to Copenhagen but luckily we were hanging out with @kavat recently who convinced us (didn’t take much) and I’m so glad we went.

Firstly, the weather in CPN was so nice, the sun was shining so much and that always makes me feel nice. @calvinahobbes had organised a phannie meet up (you’re the best) and there were about 16 of us altogether having lunch. This is one of my favourite things about phandom, just the people and meeting up with them. It was really nice and people had made crafty things to hand out and ahhh it was so nice.

The show itself, well I went in spoiler free which was hard but well worth it, I had no idea what to expect.

There are sections to the show, I’ll try and remember them if I can and will put them under this read more section so I don’t have a super long post - I’m likely to waffle soz.

- The opening part. The stage design is really nice. There is a good production (a lot like WAD), good lighting and the music is good. It seemed like they had the same people working with them (Ben and James are definitely back). I really liked the build up to the entrance and it gave me goosebumps. Seeing them both on stage together again was so nice, I missed Phil.

- Who are Dan and Phil. This bit was so funny. My face hurt from laughing. The set designs were amazing and anytime they mention the two flats it makes the part of me that wasn’t fooled by them laugh a lot. They seemed to do a lot of putting the dolls on top of each other in sexual poses on purpose. They know what they’re doing 😂

- the ad-lib section maybe was next. I wasn’t too sure on this section but maybe it needs a bit of time to grow. Dan calling Phil Capita£ester though, incredible. Also the audience shouting “cum” and Phil trying to hide it on the screen was soo funny. This part is definitely only going to get stupid things like “piss” “moist” “penis” shouted out much like all the other tours.

- ice berg part. Bloody Philip lying to us 😂😂 - can you believe in the last a sleepless night with Phil he recorded the video at like 8pm and slept through the night (innocent my ass haha). This bit was kinda fun but if you’re gonna let the audience pick the options at least follow what they shouted out (the vegas option is gonna turn into the cake scene for sure)

- the ghost scare part actually did scare me, but it was funny.

- the end part of the first section about doing what the top YouTubers do to be famous, well before the break I was like helloooo what is going on here but the part after the break SO FUCKING GOOD OMG. Dan came right in front of us, it was wild. The whole part being so choreographed the way it was!! The props, their acting, my face again hurt so badly from laughing / cheering etc. Ahhh I can’t wait to see it again it was sooooo good. Phils chest literally I was dead. I grabbed poor Maikes leg about 100x as it was so funny. Phil calling Dan and Cunt, the announcer saying Phil was squashing Dan with his “massive buttocks” omg it was just sooo good.

- Phil playing subway surfers whilst Dan ranted on about his childhood again, nice I guess but rehashed from WAD (sorry) and I wouldn’t be upset if this got cut.

- Phil does his own section which was nice but he was nervous (imo) and I’m sure this will get better as time goes on. It was so sweet what he was saying and he is a genuinely nice guy.

Phandom confessions. Good bit for audience interaction, Sister Daniel and Father Phil. Loved it, loved the outfits, loved the water gun, some of the confessions were very funny. It reminded me a lot of the past tours with the audience participation so I’m glad they have something in there. Dan looks so good in the nun outfit I’m not sorry.

- the ending. Well all night long I kept saying if they don’t do a song it just wouldn’t be right and let’s say they did not disappoint. It was better than I could have imagined. More choreographed moves (which were done wrong but it makes it all that better), the ukulele, the rave time, the lights, the thumping music fuck me it was incredible.

Things that I think will definitely improve with time, let’s not forget this was just day 2:

- their positions on stage, they seemed to be just walking into each other at times, not really sure where to stand or where to go

- Dan yaps a lot and Phil just does filler “yeahs”, I’m sure this is more of a confidence thing in the beginning. We all know Dan is a natural performer and thrives off it.

I am so ready to see it again, sadly it is not coming to the UK until January so we will just have to be patient but I’m so so so glad we have been already. I can’t wait to see how it evolves over the next few months and I’m sure January will be here before we know it.

Also, the trading cards as merch, fucking amazing idea.

Ps. I had such an amazing time hanging out with everyone as always. So grateful to Deps for bringing the best people into my life ❤️
