Possible Third-Party Voters, Heads Up!

After almost a year of hearing "Of course I want to prevent a Trump presidency, but I can't vote for Harris." I am DELIGHTED to inform anyone and everyone that it is POSSIBLE TO DO BOTH. Yes, in this two-party rigged system, there is a way to preserve your third party vote AND get in a vote to prevent Trump.

There is still time: Check out Vote Swapping. It is a completely legal method people have used in many past elections where those in swing states are paired with those in solidly blue states to use the rigged system of the electoral college to your ADVANTAGE to increase the impact of your vote.

The Harris campaign needs all the swing state votes it can get to beat Trump, but that doesn't mean your dissent and condemnation of the genocide in Gaza needs to be silenced. Make your vote COUNT, actually COUNT. With vote swapping.

To all my friends in blue states who oppose genocide but are afraid of Trump, this one's for you:

YOUR ELECTORAL VOTES GO TO KAMALA NO MATTER HOW YOU VOTE IF YOU'RE IN A BLUE STATE!!!

A third party vote in a blue state does not split the vote or go to Trump. You CAN vote your conscience and stand against genocide, without the fearmongering and vote-shaming that you're somehow causing a Trump presidency.

And if you choose to vote Jill Stein, your vote can actually make a difference! If the green party gets 5% of the vote, they get a real platform and funding and guaranteed ballot access so that next election we're not stuck with 2 genocidal options. Those of us in blue states have the privilege to act out of hope and not fear. Don't waste it loves. <3

Oh, I just know that Jake Gyllenhaal's nieces are still Taylor Swift fans because Maggie Gyllenhaal posting this wasn't on my bingo card. I mean, this is obviously a nod to Taylor's post.

disappointed but not surprised Maggie and Jake have always been the same brand of white feminist that Taylor is; Jill Stein was right there for them to give their endorsement, and yet they chose Genocide Harris, white rich people doing white rich people shit; what else is new?

I think it's funny how Taylor wrote about how she didn't fit into Jake's world because, as a fan of both, if you think about it at the end of the day, they are two sides of the same coin.

both choose to associate themselves with problematic people, whether they are friends, people they work with, or their current significant others who are truly awful ugly people, so Taylor and Jake have more things in common now than back when they were dating.

As I've said before, it's good to call your faves on their bullshit and not follow them blindly. I certainly didn't expect both my favorite actor and favorite singer to end up on the same wrong side of history, but here we are.
