I got my Steiff husky yesterday, I unstuffed her, washed her, gave her new stuffing and brushed her while the fur was still wet.

Here's a before and after!

Fur was dirty, super scruffy, matted and dry.

Now she's clean, her sandy colors and white parts are brighter, her fur is untangled and softer, and she's a little squishier after getting some new stuffing. She was missing the collar that this plush usually has so I ordered a cute red plaid collar and dabbed it with a bit of lilac oil to make her smell super nice.💜🪻

Oh my Merlin!!!!!!! Look what I just won on Ebay!!!!!!!! So happy! Because these are very rare and limited and usually price ranges to £345 but managed to snap this Steiff Hippogriff up for £50!!!!!!!!! Looks like I'm naming this one Highwing!!!!!! And my Mc plush can happily be placed on her back!!!

May even add a future Poppy Sweeting plush to my HL shelf in the near future....since I actually loved her character... she's A right... for a Hufflepuff haha 😄 💛 🦡 heard that Slytherins and Hufflepuffs get along great! Which is true since I have alot of friends in that house! 💚🐍💛🦡✨️✨️✨️✨️

Milka Cow by Steiff

Purchased on eBay March 2023

A rather lovely plush cow. She is gorgeously shaped and has such a gentle expression. I believe she was made between 1998 and 2001.

Resi (short for Resident Evil) the cow went on a trip today and met up with her pal Sage the Thylacine (belongs to @thylacines-toybox) at the Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh!!

We had lots of fun and saw lots of rhododendrons! She had a pistachio lemon bakewell tart for lunch.

She also met a friendly squirrel or two!

Would it be a deplorable abomination to slightly modify a vintage Steiff stuffed animal? I have one on the way I plan on restoring (I like to restore old and scruffy stuffed animals as a side hobby) but I'm thinking about making it weighted by adding lots of beans to it's tummy. (And maybe some lavender or lilac)

(to those who don't know, Steiff brand plushies are expensive detailed stuffed animals that are made in Germany and are considered collectable 🤷🏻)

Today was a good day🩵 It was Jira's first day on the job with me I think she enjoyed herself! It was gloomy today it wasn't too hot which was nice! 💙 I got her a collar today!
