Appreciating the good bits and the small little wins . . From the impromptu long phone calls with friends who I wish I could spend more time with . . To the kindness of total strangers that manifest in a group of fabulous ladies trying the help me fit a cabinet into my car . . To the Uber driver who was “willing to give it a go” as well as the guy at the antique center who help me carry the thing to my shop . . Don’t get me wrong, there are days where I think the world is full of a-holes all working towards making my day hell, but yesterday I chose not to let them get me down even though at one point I was close to tears! . . I'm living the chronic pain life today. Invisible illness is hard. Little things can have a big impact. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sitting for several hours at Cirque du Soleil on uncomfortable seating has had a run on effect for the whole weekend.
