This issue, Kitching & Elson bring us “Pirates of the Mystic Cave” and- …Amy’s been kidnapped again already? Gosh darnit, that’s not off to a good start for her!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/871b960e6e98b2733a4b51ccfc892216/6cd49dfd601278cf-63/s540x810/eb4e563db97f8ad9ab4487f63202ea5f7be7ca64.jpg)
Okay, at least she went out protecting Tails. According to Johnny, who may or may not have had a crush on Amy and wanted to defend her honour. I really don’t know
Also, we get a rare bonding moment between StC Sonic and Tails to enjoy! See? It wasn’t all bad between them. Tails is the only one who got through the door, so Porker and Johnny will be twiddling their thumbs (or hooves, in Porker’s case) until they get back
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/e834fdca521944940b0119910dbc1de0/6cd49dfd601278cf-32/s540x810/e0d716388c4f200178807552473768c02ebaf0dc.jpg)
The two encounter some badniks, which knock them both out. I like the detail of Tails’s tails spiking as he gets gets shocked
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8b9000c3cae909ce4c7858ab26014d9e/6cd49dfd601278cf-b7/s540x810/6016665de7a12666e55229c59565c7540ae1c5ef.jpg)
Here he is, Captain Plunder! Along with some of his crew, which doesn’t presently include one of its better known members, Simpson the Cat. Regardless, Plunder is here to boost the non-Robotnik villain roster and, also, Amy doesn’t seem remotely worried, so good for her
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a9b3dbeebde4f2437da7e744dd44c921/6cd49dfd601278cf-e0/s540x810/2700d80cff486e655b765d2783684ea298be2465.jpg)
This is a good issue for the “No, StC Sonic really does care about Tails, he’s just very British about it” argument
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/15943770074f8c5dc228e097dd11201e/6cd49dfd601278cf-9d/s540x810/397e66fb68fd5982b88b104129db6adf0cc907f1.jpg)
What Plunder actually wants is the Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic refuses to give him on the grounds that he doesn’t want Robotnik to have them. I guess that casually confirms that Sonic does have all the emeralds right now, which would make sense, given that the comic is set after Sonic 2 and we’ve seen him go Super Sonic a couple of times. Yes, they didn’t imply his super transformation was because of the Chaos Emeralds during either of those times, but that’s how I’m reasoning it in my mind
Anyway, this is when Plunder confirms that he’s not working for Robotnik, he merely stole the badniks and now they listen to him
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9cf8a74bc96dd0056daa68c942e45b39/6cd49dfd601278cf-a1/s540x810/b24ba2a1f6d0e9724987e398ac8ef3d4c23d930e.jpg)
I feel like most of you have probably seen “Tails! You can fly you idiot!” before, but now you’ve got the context for it
We also get a proper introduction to one of Plunder’s crew, Filch, who Plunder killed himself. I love how casual Filch is about this. Like, he becomes a ghost and is like “Oh well, I shouldn’t have taken that extra biscuit” and then continues to serve Plunder. You have to admire that
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/34e104e31c1caef160e3dad4ec78160d/6cd49dfd601278cf-ea/s540x810/6ed344ba9aecf8b69aeac92d456a3579724356c9.jpg)
Amy is the one who ends the conflict by using the age old logic of “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”. I know some could argue that this is a typical “girl character stops the boys from fighting” angle to throw at her, but I’m just glad to see Amy getting to solve a conflict after being kidnapped for her first two appearances
And it looks like “villains confusing Amy for Sonic's girlfriend” is just the running gag of the time
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/6b28692059507f2fde4fa221518389f9/6cd49dfd601278cf-f9/s540x810/e5f279c93c1627b8e7a78a61d71a8ecf18062cb0.jpg)
To no one’s surprise, it seems that Plunder doesn’t intend to make good on his side of the agreement, since he wants the Chaos Emeralds more than anything that raiding Robotnik’s air freighter could get him. I guess part of that plan could be letting the trio go today and maybe we’ll find out next time, since the teaser says the story is called “Slave Ship”. Or maybe it’ll be further down the line? I actually don’t know. Especially since Metal Sonic’s appearance is also on the cards
Like I’ve said before, I like Captain Plunder. There’s no deep reason behind that, I just think pirates characters are fun and I’m glad to see more villains outside of Robotnik. We have had several other villains before now, even some who’ll be recurring, but so far they’ve all worked alongside Robotnik to some degree. Plunder and his crew are the first ones who are doing their own thing and I feel the comic is ready for it by this point

In a Guardian interview, Maj Gen Aidarus al-Zoubaidi, the president of the STC and vice-president of the UN-recognised government of Yemen, said the planned talks on the country’s future had to be reconfigured to meet that new reality, including by putting the issue of a separate southern state at the foreground of discussions. [...]
Zoubaidi also tried to assure the west that the sea lanes, ports and oilfields in strategically critical southern Yemen would be secure under an STC-led state[...]
A former army commander and governor of Aden, Zoubaidi has survived car bomb attacks, and been strongly backed by the United Arab Emirates since he formed the STC in 2017. He said the STC was the most structured organisation across the eight governorates in the south including Aden, and the dominant military force capable of combating the Iranian-backed Houthis. “The new reality is that the Houthis control the north and the STC governs in the south,” he said.
His visit to the UK, including a talk at the Chatham House thinktank and meeting with the Middle East minister, Tariq Ahmad, represents his most concerted effort yet to convince the west that he and a separate southern Yemen state can unlock an elusive peace.

The Yemeni Houthi group described on Tuesday the national charter signed by members of the Southern Transitional Council as a "complete coup" against the Republic of Yemen, Anadolu news agency reported. "The escalatory step announced by the Transitional Council with a complete coup against the integrity of the Republic of Yemen cannot take place without a green light from the countries of aggression" said Deputy head of the Houthi negotiating delegation, Abd al-Malik al-Ajri, on Twitter, referring to the Arab coalition.[...]
On Monday, political factions from the south participating in the meeting signed a "national charter" in Aden, the most notable clause of which included "the restoration of the state of the south with its political and geographical borders according to what was before 22 May 1990," in reference to the unification of the former states of North Yemen and South Yemen.

Over in Speedlines, we see that they’re immediately getting letters asking to bring back the Tails solo stories, after they’ve only been absent for one issue. Not only that, but another kid has sent in money for Megadroid. I do enjoy how Megadroid is mostly mean to the kids in the letters’ column and they’re still like “Megadroid, here is some money, you deserve workers’ rights”. It is kind of funny to picture the guys behind writing this section having to come up with a reason to stop kids from sending in their pocket money while still staying in-character to Megadroid

Facing Two Fronts: COVID-19 amidst the Yemeni Civil War | CSPPS
See on Scoop.it - COMPARE RISK COMMUNICATION
Facing Two Fronts: COVID-19 amidst the Yemeni Civil War CSPPS Coordinated Response to Support Local Action during COVID-19: an interview with Yemen’s CSPPS Member Youth Without Borders Organization for Development (YWBOD) At times of acute crisis, it is easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. A global pandemic, like the one we are facing today, is a perfect example of where our natural response is to focus solely on the aspects which are most acutely affected: a nation’s healthcare system and its economy. However, the trickle-down effect of COVID-19 can seriously affect other crucial areas of life, particularly peace and conflict. CSPPS has launched this series of articles, which zooms in on the role of civil society in supporting local response action. Via interviews with frontline responders, we discuss the short-term and long-term effects COVID-19 is having on prospects for peace and stability in their countries. “Our world faces a common enemy: COVID-19. The virus does not care about nationality or ethnicity, faction or faith. It attacks all, relentlessly … Let’s not forget that in war-ravaged countries, health systems have collapsed. Health professionals, already few in number, have often been targeted. Refugees and others displaced by violent conflict are doubly vulnerable. The fury of the virus illustrates the folly of war.” (UN Secretary-General’s Appeal for Global Ceasefire, 23 March 2020) Once the magnitude of the current pandemic became clear, so did the fact that those in a state of ongoing conflict will be impacted most severely. Following the appeal by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the Saudi-backed coalition declared a two-week unilateral truce on April 8th in an attempt to contain the devastating impact of COVID-19 in an already war-torn Yemen. However, this has not been upheld. Instead, conflict has spiked over the past weeks, leading to multiple deaths on top of the already towering death toll. And although the Saudi coalition announced a month-long extension of their unilateral ceasefire on April 24th, scepticism about their actual compliance to this statement cannot be said to be unfounded. The Yemeni Civil War has been ravaging the country since March 2015, after Houthi opposition forces overran the capital Sana’a in 2014, which prompted an international response, led by Saudi Arabia in support of current Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi. The Saudi response to the Yemeni situation can only be described as abhorrent: civilians, young children, nobody has been spared in this struggle for power. A draft of the 2017 UN report on children and armed conflict condemned the Saudi coalition, stating: In Yemen, the coalition’s actions objectively led to the listing for the killing and maiming of children, with 683 child casualties attributed to this party, and, as a result of being responsible for 38 verified incidents, for attacks on schools and hospitals during 2016.” The struggle over control of the nation has left approximately 80% of the population relying on humanitarian aid and has led to more than 100,000 casualties due to the violence, of which 12,000 are civilian. Additionally, more than 85,000 people are said to have died from famine as a direct consequence of the war. All the while, the country suffers from the worst epidemic of cholera in modern history, making the Yemeni situation the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. A looming pandemic over this already dire situation only intensifies the need for a sustainable peace. For the third article in this series, the Secretariat of the Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (CSPPS) discussed the reality of the ceasefire in Yemen in light of COVID-19 with Maged Sultan, member of CSPPS and Chair of the Youth Without Borders Organization for Development (YWBOD) in Yemen. “In spite of the pandemic spreading all over the world, the warring parties in Yemen pay no attention to work together to face this crisis. Instead, the violence and armed conflict continue, and each party is trying to gain more political and military victory over the other.” Despite the ceasefire declared by the Saudi- and United Arab Emirates-led coalition, which promised to stop airstrikes for two weeks, the opposing Houthis have come with unreasonable conditions from their end and have called the declared ceasefire a “ploy”, Sultan explains. Both parties have since continued their struggle for power. Since the failed call for a nation-wide ceasefire, Sultan states, “the Houthis have escalated violence against the forces of the internationally recognised government in Ma’rib, the north of Yemen, and they could gain some more geographical areas and military camps there. Also in Al-Jawf, violence continues, and the internationally recognised government forces continue to try to restore some of the areas lost to the Houthis. Just two days ago, they managed to regain one of the military camps there.” “The Houthis have escalated violence against the forces of the internationally recognised government in Ma’rib, the north of Yemen, and they could gain some more geographical areas and military camps there. Also in Al-Jawf, violence continues, and the internationally recognised government forces continue to try to restore some of the areas lost to the Houthis. Just two days ago, they managed to regain one of the military camps there.” The Houthis are imposing a ban on travel in Taiz, and conflict has soared since the start of the pandemic. In a similar manner, the Southern Transitional Council (STC), which seeks to separate the South of Yemen from the rest of the nation, continued to exercise its power over Aden, undeterred by the Riyadh Agreement struck last November. By issuing decrees of curfew and other measures, supposedly to contain the spread of COVID-19, the STC had found additional means of asserting its control over the region. On April 26th, this escalated into a declaration of self-rule, completely shattering the Riyadh Agreement and, with it, any prospect of imminent peace. The independent control over the Southern governates only further jeopardises the possibility of an upheld, nation-wide ceasefire in Yemen, bringing the state of the nation to a political as well as military boiling point amidst COVID-19. “I just want to say again: the warring parties in Yemen did not respond positively to the global spread of the virus. Instead, they take this matter as a means of gaining more political or military control.” On April 10th, Yemen’s first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Hadhramaut, sparking panic amongst its incredibly fragile population. To illustrate the extent of this fear, Sultan told us of the many posts on social media that circulated after the announcement of the case, calling for the patient to be killed in order to spare the rest of the population. In a society where the majority of the population owns weapons, a scare like this can easily escalate, or result in a much faster spread of the virus when suspected cases are withheld out of fear of the repercussions. Misinformation and fear amongst a fragile population, as we have seen in our second article on the Liberian context, will undeniably worsen any status quo. In this context, amidst the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, a global pandemic could very well be the final blow to whatever is left of the Yemeni nation. “The majority of the population (more than 70%) depends on daily earnings, aside from the exorbitantly high percentages of poverty and unemployment across the country. A curfew will take away those daily earnings, and there are no alternatives provided, not by the government, nor by other actors. What will such people do? Robberies and other crimes are the expected consequences, which poses a real threat to national cohesion and communal peace.” Sultan recalls a meeting he had with security forces two days before our conversation, in which he asked what procedures were being put in place to prepare emergency security teams in the event of the virus spreading within the city. “Nothing”, was their response, “there are security teams in place, but they are not prepared to work effectively within the COVID-19 situation. Most likely, policemen will run away out of fear of infection, rather than enforce peace.” As regards gender-based violence especially, Sultan foresees a surge once a nation-wide curfew is imposed. “Once men and women will be confined at home, there will be an increase in domestic violence. This is exactly what happened in 2015, at the beginning of the war: because people were forced to stay at home, the terrible economic situation and the lack of awareness surrounding gender equality, a lot of gender-based violence occurred. On the other hand, if security provisions will fail out of fear amongst the security forces, we can expect to see an escalation of cases of rape and sexual harassment on the streets as well.” As no security institution is working adequately at the moment, especially not with the looming pandemic, local insecurity and conflict are on the rise. Sultan, as Chair of the Youth Without Borders Organization for Development and member of CSPPS, has therefore initiated a peacebuilding project, in collaboration with the local police and communities. In Taiz, they install security cameras in some high-risk areas which are directly connected to a server based in the police station, to reinforce whatever sense of security there is left. Additionally, they engage in the distribution of masks and hand sanitizer, and have started public sensitisation campaigns, as have other civil society organisations across Yemen, to raise awareness about social distancing and other precautions to avoid infection. In order to support the faltering healthcare system (only half of Yemen’s healthcare facilities are still fully functional, and there are only 500 ventilators available in the whole country), YWBOD is providing logistic and medical requirements like oxygen tanks and hand sanitizer to two emergency units, but this effort does not suffice as challenges are mounting nation-wide. As UN Secretary-General Guterres put it in his most recent appeal on April 23rd: “The COVID-19 pandemic is a public health emergency – but it is far more. It is an economic crisis. A social crisis. And a human crisis that is fast becoming a human rights crisis.” “People – and their rights – must be front and centre. …. We have seen how the virus does not discriminate, but its impacts do – exposing deep weaknesses in the delivery of public services and structural inequalities that impede access to them. We must make sure they are properly addressed in the response.” (Secretary-General of the United Nations, 23 April 2020) Upon the question whether Guterres’ appeal for a global ceasefire has been fruitful so far, Sultan states: “As the world is busy with the coronavirus, the conflicting parties of Yemen abuse the situation in their favour, rather than taking actions and measures which can bring solutions to the virus.” Sultan urges for the Riyadh Agreement to be enforced, and for the international community to put further pressure on all the warring parties, whether local or international. “Especially amidst COVID-19, a nation-wide ceasefire to solve this immense humanitarian crisis should be the priority of everyone involved. This, however, requires voices from inside the country, as well as real pressure from the global level. In order to do so, we need to meet the urgent needs of a ceasefire, mobile resources as well as joint efforts to fight COVID-19 from a holistic perspective.” The international community has an obligation to protect and respect human rights, not least the rights of the most vulnerable. More than 6.7 million Yemenis, an unprecedented figure, were already in need of assistance before the COVID-19 outbreak. The pandemic can only worsen their predicament. In his recent briefing to the United Nations Security Council, UN Special Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths painted a picture of the current situation, saying that “Yemen cannot face two fronts at the same time: a war and a pandemic. And the new battle that Yemen faces in confronting the virus will be all-consuming. We can do no less than stop this war and turn all our attention to this new threat.” Facing two fronts, Sultan calls upon the international community, including the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding, of which CSPPS is part, to support the call for a true ceasefire. Yemen needs a nation-wide ceasefire, to be upheld, respected and supported by all stakeholders. As CSPPS, we support Sultan in his plea, and call for a global community in which members hold each other accountable for their actions, and the devastating consequences thereof. The urgency is undeniable. Amidst this global pandemic, especially when it threatens those who have already lost so much, there is simply no more time left to lose. The time to act on peace is now. 2018 Champions Herlings and Prado End Season With Italian Wins
The Italian circuit of Imola has hosted another historic weekend of racing with the final round of the 2018 MXGP FIM Motocross World Championship. The weekend was a finale to 20 rounds of racing around the world over 8 months and today the 2018 Champions from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado, capped of the year with another pair of dominant wins.
Imola’s Autodromo Enzo & Dino Ferrari track was the venue of choice with over 25,000 cubic meters of dirt added to the natural elevation of the circuit for the weekend. The historic venue was the first in Italy to host Motocross International racing in 1948 and now on the 70th anniversary has seen the conclusion of one of the most competitive World Championship seasons ever. Taking the 3 spots in the final MXGP championship standings were the only three riders to win a GP in 2018, Jeffrey Herlings, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Antonio Cairoli, and Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Clement Desalle. Meanwhile in the MX2 standings Jorge Prado, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Pauls Jonass, and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thomas Kjer Olsen finalized the top three spots.
MXGP The new MXGP World Champion, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings, had nothing to prove this weekend but still came out and dominated with double race wins to take the final MXGP overall of the year.
The first MXGP race was started with a season first Fox Holeshot from Gebben Van Venrooy Kawasaki’s Alessandro Lupino in front of his home crowd as Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Antonio Cairoli opted out of racing to recover for next week’s Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.
Behind Lupino was Team HRC’s Tim Gajser, Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team’s Jeremy Seewer, and then Herlings. Seewer and Herlings banged bars in the 4th corner was put the Dutchman up to third. Gajser took the lead from Lupino before the end of the first lap along with Herlings.
Lupino was then third but a collision with Seewer dropped the #77 out of the top 20 and the Swiss rider to 10th. Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Clement Desalle took over third with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Gautier Paulin 4th and Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP’s Shaun Simpson 5th.
On the third official lap Herlings took the lead from Gajser and a lap later Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Julien Lieber went to 5th past Simpson. In the remaining 16 laps the top 5 held their positions. Herlings had the race win ahead of Gajser, Desalle, Paulin, and Lieber while Seewer made a last lap pass to get by teammate Simpson for 6th.
Race 2’s Fox Holeshot belonged to Herlings who had Gajser and Desalle just behind him. Simpson had another good start in 4th with Lieber again behind him. Paulin was in 6th and had to deal with pressure from Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Jeremy Van Horebeek.
After 4 laps of heat from the Belgian Paulin lost 6th and Van Horebeek then went after Lieber. With 5 laps to go Lieber moved past Simpson for 4th and Van Horebeek put the Wilvo rider another spot back to 6th.
Herlings took the race win with Gajser again 2nd then Desalle, Lieber, and Van Horebeek. Paulin took 6th after passing Simpson with 2 laps to go. In the overall Herlings was the clear winner for the 84 time in his career as Gajser took 2nd and Desalle took third.
Jeffrey Herlings, “It is a great way to finish of the year, to finish with a win. I am very happy and thankful, it has been a great journey, a great experience, a great year, and I have met a lot of great people. I really want to thank especially my team as without them I wouldn’t to be able to do what I did… it is something that will be hard to ever accomplish again. The most beautiful way to finish off the year is to go 1-1 at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations and if I can accomplish that it will be the cherry on top!”
Antonio Cairoli: “I am really happy to be here, it is such a great place for racing and I think this is a great way to step up our sport. I am looking at the bigger picture of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations next week, it is very important for me and the country of Italy. Like I have said congratulations to Jeffrey and thanks to Youthstream for another good and very intense championship. They have stepped it up with a more professional staff so I am really happy to have another 2 seasons and follow my dream to fight for another world title.”
Clement Desalle: “Finishing third in the championship is really great, also it is a great feeling to be on the box at the end of the championship. My whole team works to be the best possible and to beat those guys and have the best result in the GPs. It is not easy but we are very motivated… it was a very good season overall.”

MX2 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado came into this weekend already knowing he was going to be crowned 2018 MX2 FIM Motocross World Champion but it didn’t stop the 17-year old from taking his 26th Fox Holeshot of the year.
Kemea Yamaha Official MX2 Team’s Ben Watson was a top qualifier yesterday but jumped the gate to early today and was back outside the top 15 on the start. Prado lost his lead to Yamaha SM Action MC Migliori’s Simone Furlotti in the first corners and went back to 6th.
Honda 114 Motorsports Hunter Lawrence was third behind Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thomas Covington but pushed the American off the track to take second.
Covington rejoined the track in 4th behind Prado while Lawrence went on to take the lead from Furlotti who then dropped another spot to Prado. The following lap Covington was up to third but lost the spot 2 laps later to his teammate Thomas Kjer Olsen.
STC Racing Husqvarna’s Henry Jacobi was impressive along with Yamaha SM Action MC Migliori’s Michele Cervellin. Jacobi came from 9th on the first lap all the way up to 3rd after a bike issue ended the race for the leader Lawrence.
Prado took over first after the misfortune of Lawrence and held the lead to the finish where he was met by the Red Bull KTM crew and media to celebrate his 2018 MX2 World title. Olsen took 2nd and Jacobi 3rd while Cervellin made it up to 4th ahead of F&H Racing Team’s Marshal Weltin.
Race 2 started with a 5th Fox Holeshot of the year for Thomas Covington ahead of ASTES4-TESAR Yamaha’s Samuele Bernardini and JD Gunnex KTM Racing’s Richard Sikyna from Slovakia.
Prado was up into 2nd quickly while Kemea Yamaha Official MX2 Team’s Anthony Rodriguez held 4th ahead of Olsen but the #19 fell and handed 5th to BUD Racing Monster Energy’s Brian Moreau in his first MX2 appearance.
Prado then went for the lead and took the spot from Covington as his teammate Olsen took 5th back from Moreau. Olsen was pushed back out of the top 5 on the next lap by Lawrence.
The Aussie was on a roll and took positions away from Rodriguez, Bernardini, and Covington in the following laps. Lawrence gained multiple seconds on Prado in each of the final laps but it was a little too late as the Spaniard took the race victory and his 12 overall win of the season. Lawrence finished second with Covington third and Olsen 4th but in the overall it was Prado, Olsen, and Covington taking the podium.
Jorge Prado’s season has been nothing short of impressive, the 17-year old becomes the first Spanish MX2 World Champion via 10 pole positions, 331 laps in the lead, 17 individual race wins, 12 overall victories and 17 podiums. Prado scored 873 points in 20 rounds of racing averaging 43.6 points per race of the maximum 50. Prado becomes one of only 3 riders to win the title at such a young age joining Ken Roczen and Jeffrey Herlings and is also now tied for 3 most career MX2 Overall wins with Tyla Rattray behind Herlings and Antonio Cairoli.”
Jorge Prado: “I knew I was World Champion already on Thursday so it was a great moment that I didn’t expect. It was a great weekend and I am really happy to finish off the season with a win.”
Thomas Kjer Olsen: “I am really happy to finish third of course, I would like to be closer to Prado and Jonass but I did everything that I could this season. There was a lot of positives this season and there are a lot of things I have learned. I am super happy with my 10 podiums and I don’t think I can be anything other than happy.”

We’re had three Sonic covers in a row, lucky us! This is the first cover in my read-through that I don’t think I’ve ever seen before and that Robotnik sure looks terrifying! Not only that, but the cover uses the small animals from the games. I think the comic itself is mostly moving on from them now, but this cover doesn’t actually reflect the comic inside, which doesn’t even include Robotnik. I guess it was just too good of an opportunity to not use him on a cover with a release date close to Easter
