kento often asks himself why he had returned to the world he despised — the jujutsu society; his old high school. the sprawling curses everywhere are the main cause of his current misery.

he had been sent out on missions left and right, not catching a break in hopes of reducing any more civilian causalities than necessary. kento had even thought that maybe his previous 9-5 job wasn’t as bad as he had considered it.

overtime was every day for the sorcerer now. that wasn’t the worst thing - no - the fact that he was pratically living a long distant relationship with his beloved irritated him most.

a thought he had in his high school days reoccured in a moment of distress: ‘why not leave all those missions to gojo?’

you were still pretty understanding of his situation. kento appreciated that, though the guilt still ate away at him whenever he tried to sleep. an empty bed welcomed him each time he re-entered his hotel room — you saw the exact same scenery when returning home to your shared apartment.

both of you were adults; both knowing that life was unfair. the two of you being unable to see each other from time to time was a part of your life. kento and you still maintained a healthy relationship. that was all that really mattered in the end.

11:49PM. . . tonight wasn’t unlike any other night; you were preparing yourself to go to bed—changing into your pyjamas after showering, snuggling to a pillow under the covers and texting your lover one last message.

‘good luck on your mission as always! stay safe, i love you.’

you stare at your phone screen for a minute longer than intended. even if you tried to be mature about it — you longed for kento’s warmth and undivided attention. you want him with you, his strong arms holding you to his chest as you rest, his deep voice sending shivers down your spine in the best way possible.

you sigh defeatedly and put your phone down on your nightstand. just two days until you could see your partner again. you can hold onto that hope to keep you calm.

despite you trying to stay positive, you tossed and turned in your bed as you thought about kento’s safety. there was always a chance of him not coming home to you — always the possibility of that bed to be empty for the rest of your life.

all you could do was pray for his safety in your head whilst your eyes eventually closed from fatigue, your mind drifting off to a deep slumber.

03:14AM. . . kento opens the door he had wished to have opened way earlier. the door that lead to the place where his heart lays; the person who claimed his heart and soul for eternity. you.

he didn’t think he’d actually do it. kento had originally planned to finish his last job as soon as possible and then get home afterwards, but there seemed to be a change in routine.

the special grade sorcerer simply assigned the mission to ino — the person whom he could trust most to finish the job in one piece. as much as kento dislikes to put his juniors in possible risky situations, there are also situations where it’s fine to depend on them. besides, the mission could easily be done by a grade one sorcerer.

kento sighs. the familiar scent of your home was one he could recognise from miles away. one that could calm his nerves instantly. it was that same distinctive scent you carry; thus why your lover sometimes calls you his home.

‘i can’t wait to be home’ ‘i want to be home’ ‘i’m going home’ — all these sentences, which kento has uttered before in earlier conversations, weren’t referring to a place. rather to a person he held dear.

“oh, my sweetheart.” the blonde man whispers under his breath as his eyes catch the shape of your figure under the blankets. he quietly enters the master bedroom and closes the door behind him, not making a sound as to not interrupt your well-deserved sleep.

kento slowly undoes his dotted tie, along with the upper buttons of his blouse. he probably needs to go take a good shower before he could settle down with you — but that’d risk waking you up.

you look extremely angelic in his eyes. especially with your left cheek squished by the soft pillow your head rests on. you never once fail to convince him that you are indeed the woman of his dreams; the woman kento ever had and will have eyes for. it’s like you get more attractive to him as the days go on.

“mh,” your sudden and soft groan makes him realise just how disturbing his behaviour could be interpreted as. kento’s body was hovering over your sleeping one and he was just. . . staring at you with a soft smile. a smile which he didn’t even notice had permanently found its place on his weary face.

kento sits down on the edge of the mattress, callused hand gently tucking you in properly, putting the blanket over your shoulders to make sure you didn’t get cold. he can’t rest if you’re not comfortable— even if he himself was exhausted to the point his eyes were starting to feel heavy.

yet that exhaustion doesn’t last long. it never does when kento’s able to see you again after a tiring week of countless missions and other jobs. your presence alone grants him the energy to stay awake and take care of you. and himself. you’re the reason he keeps it going.

kento sure was a romantic. even when you’re unaware and asleep.

he couldn’t help it; the feeling stirring inside of him. the feeling of adoration and love for you. you are simply resting, yet kento felt an urge to kiss you all over, show you the unending love he has for you. but. . that’d probably be disturbing your peace. you are sleeping after all. he

your eyes flutter open due to a sudden presence hovering over you. your entire face and neck area was feeling ticklish, like someone was placing tens of kisses all over the skin.

strands of blonde hair is the first thing showing up in your blurry vision. kento’s face follows afterwards as his head tilts back up, the warmth against your jawline disappearing along with it —

“ah, i’m sorry.” a low and almost guilty chuckle tumbles out of his sore throat. the visible confusion on your face makes him let out another, “shh, shh, it’s just me, sweetheart.”

your arms flew around kento’s torso the second the realisation dawns upon you. your heart went from a slow pace to one that caused your entire body to warm up immediately; the adorable reaction and increase in heart rate not going unnoticed by your lover.

you wordlessly hug him — almost still in shock by the sudden appearance. kento doesn’t fight off your tight embrace, instead, welcomes it with open arms. the delicate kisses on your skin continue, each being placed with precision whilst one of his hands keeps your head tilted a little — rough fingers being a contrast of the gentle grip they had on your jaw.

“i missed you lots,” kento murmurs, eyes closed as he basks in the warmth of your body, his lips refusing to let go of your neck, “i couldn’t wait anymore. i couldn’t be separated from you any longer or i’d lose it.”

his gruff voice sounded even deeper than it usually would. maybe due to the overuse of it during his missions. the lone thought makes you pout — the thought of kento working super hard just to provide for you both.

“i missed you more, love.” you mumble, bottom lip trembling a little as kento’s hug triggers a whole lot of emotions in you. his hugs were special, his muscular arms giving you a sense of comfort you couldn’t find anywhere. no one could hug you like he did, “you did well. you did so well.”

those were all the words kento needed. his lips come to halt right above your collarbone, his breath a bit heavy from how much he's holding himself back from doing more. one hand moves from your cheek to your waist, fingers toying with the fabric of your shirt.

“thank you, dear.” kento says. his words carrying a load of unending affection. your simple words of appreciation and encouragement makes him shiver in delight. this is what he longed for; this is what he did it all for.

it was clear. the answer to his question - of why he had returned to the jujutsu world, to become a teacher at his former high school - it was all for you. to be able to be with you, see you and hold you like this. to have someone like you appreciate all of his efforts.

“may i?” kento asks through a quiet whisper as he gently removes the blanket covering your figure, his eyes darting down towards your cleavage. he's asking for permission to cross that barrier — to cover you in the love you deserve.

you just stare at the blonde man above you for a second. you watch as he climbs onto the bed with you; the bed which was once empty and dull, now suddenly becoming your favourite place to be at. your fingertips graze against kento's sharp cheekbones. a habit you always did when you were appreciating his looks.

•Denki loves to tease and flirt with you while in battle trying to make you he's the type to say the most unhinged thing without hesitation so he can see your reactions and coo at them his favorite is when you get scared he loves to see you flustered, embarrassed or scared it makes him have that shit-eating grin

Sero is more of a manipulative and possessive type he seems like a chill person who just goes along with the group but deep inside is just as obsessive as the rest of them dude would get angry easily every time he sees you talk with someone and when your away he beats them up and tapes them up somewhere

•Mina is clingy and a bit sadist type she is always taunted. about how much of how cute you are in your hero suit and fantasize about how she wanna use her acid to burn your costume and maybe your skin

•Bakusquad would always try to find a way to "Take you away from harm" but the Dekusquad was like "HELL NO" and always ruined their plans, For example, bakugo and Kirishima were going to get you while you were alone he planned that if they snatch u up while it's alone then no one will find you it was just when the 2 boys were about to jump out he saw todoroki and his worse enemy Deku walking beside you and bakugo and Kirishima glared at how Deku and Todoroki were looking at you like you were there's how Deku was holding your hand and shoots arm was wrapped around your shoulders Kirishima snarled while bakugo growled how dare that scum gets to touch what's theirs but no worries if they ever get you they'll never let you go

Hero Dekusquad

•Ever since Bakusquad has taken a like over you they have been more protective than ever

•Iida insisted that you should train more with him( even on the weekends) and give you advice about how to protect yourself and would give you things like pepper spray, hidden weapon items, and even a taser! Even if you reassure them that you'll be ok he'll always excuse the "you'll never know what will happen"

•izuku and Shoto will take turns walking you to your house checking around their surroundings and making sure that nobody is following you home once you get home they'll secretly stay around your house checking if the bakusquad will come to Shoto convince you to get a ring camera in your house just in case.

•Ochako was like ur knight and shining armor as much as she swoons over you saving her she also wanted to protect you she always wanted a sleepover cause she's scared (and to make sure no villains will break in) When you go to sleep she makes sure that every door, window and even attic is locked up tight she watches out in the night to be sure that mine doesn't hang around on those trees or Kirishima secretly taking photos

•Tsuyu is like Uraraka but a bit more chill Uraraka she'll also make excuses to sleep in your room to protect you and will reassure you that no villain is going to get you and the 2 of you cuddle up while Tsuyu sings you to sleep or either give u cute head pats if Uraraka come over as well she'll bake sweets for the 2 of you and watch movies to get your fear off villains ever coming here

•The dekusquad all live together while u live alone but like a few blocks away from their house

• izuku and Shoto will also help you when you training with Iida Izuku hyping you up and showing you new moves to try out while Shoto makes sure you drink plenty of water and helps you take a break maybe massages ur shoulders or brings you somewhere relaxing and quiet once our training is done

• Mina, Ochako, and Tsuyu would always bicker with each other about who knows y/n more and who they prefer is safer

"What happened?" Bachira wondered as Nagi and (Y/n) ran over to the boy. His breathing was pretty heavy and it looked like his face was getting redder and redder by the minute. Cautiously, (Y/n) put her hand on his forehead, flinching at how hot it was.

"He has a fever. Nagi, can you carry him to the nearest medic room."

The white haired boy quickly nodded his head and picked Reo up and ran out of the training hall.

"The rest of you continue practice. I will inform Ego-san what had happened. Please don't cause a ruckus."

"Sure!"

"Don't worry, I will keep them at bay."

"Everything will be fine." (Y/n) smiled at their words and ran out of the room, hoping that it was just a fever Reo had.

"(Y/n) is so considerate~" Gagamaru said as the others nodded in agreement.

A while later (Y/n) came back with the food, just in time as Reo was waking up. She put the tray down and walked over to where the boy was trying to sit up.

And so, truthfully to (Y/n)'s words for the next few days she barely left Reo's side during the day. Whatever he needed she would get for him, check his temperature and talk over the most random things while (Y/n) was cleaning up for the day. Reo himself felt at peace after a very long time, knowing he was cared for so much by his own crush really meant a lot to him.

'She looks even prettier today than yesterday. I wonder how the others are doing without her... must suck being them!'

3 days have passed and while Reo was enjoying his time being sick, the rest...well they didn't like this new arrangement at all. Not only will Reo miss out the practices for the next few days, but (Y/n) will also be gone. Nagi didn't like any of this, the substitute manager didn't allow him to play on his phone during the break. Baro, Rin and Isagi got punished by running 5 laps for every argument, Aryu was forced to tie up his hair in a bun, Bachira was called for a time off every time he went above what was needed for the exercise and Gagamaru... well he couldn't take any more criticism on his stance at the goal, since it was the most comfortable one for him.

"This is unbearable... When is (Y/n) coming back?" Chigiri whispered as he untangled his hair.

'I miss (Y/n)'s way of tying it."

"I don't know, but I can't do this running for too long." Isagi groaned along with Rin. The two already had 2 arguments.

Kunigami kept on sulking, as the new man kept telling him to slow down at certain times, Yukimiya and Karasu got scolded at least 3 times for joking and not taking anything seriously. Hiori by now was the only one who was on the new manager's good side.

"No! That new guy just trash talked (Y/n) to a staff member and said he will ask Ego-san to get a new manager." Niko and Hiori yelled at the same time. An eerie silence fell on the group and they snapped their eyes at the duo.

"What?! What do you mean change managers?!" Isagi yelled out, being the first one to get out of the shock, followed by Chigiri and Bachira.

"Alright, I am throwing hands then if that's what he wants." Bachira said, but got held back by Yukimiya.

"Did you two hear that even right? (Y/n) does a great job." Gagamaru asked as Niko nodded his head.

"We heard him talk about it outside. We need to talk with Ego-san or Teieri-san!" Hiori exclaimed.

"Hmmm... Isagi, Baro, Kunigami and I will go talk with Ego-san. The rest of you stay here and cause as much ruckus for that bastard as possible." Rin spoke up as the others nodded their heads. As much as the boy tried to keep his calm, he really couldn't. Rin held (Y/n) to a great standard and anyone who tarnished her like that man did deserves at least to lose his job.

"Your fever went down! Maybe one more day of rest and medication, and you are free to go!" (Y/n) exclaimed as Reo nodded his head. He was happy that he was getting better, but he will miss these past few days where (Y/n) gave him her full, undivided attention.

'Man... this day is both good and sad.'

"Ya know! I am happy to see you play again!" (Y/n) suddenly said, causing the girl to look up at her in surprise.

"Really? My skills are nothing special though. Far away from Nagi, Isagi or Rin." Reo said, and he really meant it. Although he had Nagi on his side while playing, he was far from his genius best friend when it comes to talent. That alone caused a flood of insecurities to enter his body whenever (Y/n) would watch the team play, as he knew she probably had her eyes more on the skilled players like Isagi or Rin or Baro.

"What do you mean? Not everyone can copy as fast as you can, basically make themselves invisible. Just because you aren't like Rin or Isagi or anyone on the team, doesn't mean you aren't a great player." (Y/n) started speaking, and Reo's full attention was now on her. The boy could feel his heartbeat quicken and his cheeks started to turn a light pink shade.

"Y-you think so?"

"Of course! You survived this long because of your own skills, not Nagi's. Don't put yourself down. I for one, find you great!" (Y/n) said, giving him a closed eyes smile. Reo felt his heart nearly leave his chest at the last part.

He was about to answer back when the doors to the medic room opened rather quickly, startling the duo.

"What?"

'Not now... we had a moment!' Reo groaned as he made the voices of Chigiri and Bachira out.

"(Y/n)! Please come back, this is getting unbearable!" Bachira said, running to Reo's bed where (Y/n) was.

"What do you mean?" She wondered.

"What Bachira wants to say is... this substitute manager sucks." Chigiri said honestly.

"He is strict and yells at us for no reason most of the time. Aryu even has to wear his hair in a bun." (Y/n) winced a little at that part, knowing Aryu hates that a lot.

"So I am guessing you are disappointed in the arrangement Ego-san and I came up with..." The girl laughed nervously as the other two nodded their heads.

"Well not really. Please tell us you are coming back soon." A pouting Bachira said as he tugged on (Y/n)'s shirt. The girl looked between the duo and Reo before sighing.

"Well, Reo should be up on his feet and training tomorrow, we are just waiting for what the nurse has to say." (Y/n) grinned, patting the said boy's back.

"Ahh that's good then." Chigiri and Bachira said in unison as Reo pouted a little.

'Well, at least I got compliments and care from her these past few days... It felt really nice to hear all that.' The purple-haired boy thought as he smiled softly.

'He really got all that care and attention from (Y/n) alone to himself... how do I make myself sick?!' Chigiri wondered.

'Do I need to take cold showers or pray for a flue now?' Bachira thought, trying to stop himself from glaring at Reo.

Meanwhile on the other side of the building, Ego was looking dumbfounded at the four boys in front of him.

"What do you mean fire her? She is the only one who could put up with you idiots."

"That's what we said! So you won't listen to him?" Rin questioned as Ego nodded his head.

"I won't. Now get out of my office, I will deal with that man."

"Thank you, Ego-san." Isagi said, genuinely feeling relieved that the man was on their side.

"I still think we should beat him up."

Baro whispered to Kunigami, who nodded his head.

Just finished to read chapter 12 and I am glad they at least not actively trying to kill each other anymore lol THAT’S CALLED IMPROVEMENT TO ME(small mercy)but I also hope they got to talk after they finish to eat each other up(mostly Lucy but u know). It’s pretty obv that Al previous relationship with Vox has messed him up quite a bit and Lucy is very sweet to ask for permission instead of just touching him without asking(I adore how attentive Lucy is in regard of Al little change in his perfect mask and I love how he gets a little cheeky towards the end and makes Al say what he wants)

That’s a big step in the right direction for an healthy relationship(at least as healthy as it can get in hell)and I think we should give more credit to Charlie’s lessons, cause if they work even on the devil, I’ll say they should give her one of these certificates that Tik toker showcase to say that they have a degree in something, cause Charlie deserves that and more(thinking about the fact that she send her Dad upstairs to talk with Al and they are fucking) it definitely worked lmao

While moonvale isn't enough...I have a little theory, we know that Eric Briggs is mentioned by Alan in episode 10, what if he really is part of the police but as some kind of hacker? a programmer? Alan managed to protect himself from Jake twice, so there was someone who helped him protect himself from Jake and what if it was Eric? What if he played the role of Jake in Moonvale? being a new hacker who will help us but a "good hacker" who works in the police.

Of course we don't know if it's the same Eric, but it's interesting to think about.

In one of my last updates to Sunrise, I wrote I had recently suffered a loss in my family. My grandfather passed away from lung cancer and I just took so long to sit and write anything after. Early this year, my stepfather went under cardiac arrest out of nowhere and he could not be resuscitated. I was the person giving him chest compressions until paramedics arrived while my mom screamed for like ten minutes, and I am struggling mentally from that event still now—and everything I had to do after, because my poor mom was basically useless with all paperwork and legalities, she was so broken.

I didn't want to move out of the state for med school (which has always been my goal) and leave my mom and little sister alone after that, so now I'm in nursing school here in my town's university. It's an accelerated, intense program so it's sucking up all of my time.

It's just been a crazy 2 years and I literally have the next chapter of Sunrise outlined but I need to write when I'm ready again.

I guess I have to explain the lore now...

A vampeere is a subspecies of vampire that drinks pee instead of blood in case you haven't pieced it together already.

How do you become a vampeere?

There are some ways. I may not know all of them, this is only what I learned so far from others of my kind. For example you may turn into a vampeere when you are unfortunate to die when on a toilet or when peeing. There is a chance you become one when you piss yourself while being bitten by a regular vampire. You can also turn into vampeere when you die young but you have been a whiny pissbaby loser all your life (this was me). There is also some ritual involving drinking a vapeere's pee but it's complicated and I haven't researched enough to talk about it. Anyway, casually drinking vapeere's pee is safe (also it's sweet and tasty)

Powers/weakneses

So similar to vampires, there is some diversity when it comes to things that hurt us and how our powers work. The general rule is, a vampeere has to drink someone else's pee to stay healthy and strong, otherwise they dry up. Don't worry, we still can be revived from that state, just add water. The more pee a vampeere drinks the more powerful they get but only for as long as it's inside them.

How powerful are we exactly? Well, when it comes to strength we are one of the weaker types of vampires. It's not unlikely for a human who works out to overpower a vampeere.

Do we have some additional abilities? Yes, but...

Flying - we can levitate and soar in the air but it won't work too well when a vampeere uses their hands to hold their pee

Transformation - we can turn into bats and sometimes other animals but the volume of pee in the bladder stays the same so we turn into unnaturally big bats for that reason. One of my dad's childhood friends, remained unmarried into her late 40s. This is veryyyy unusual in India and she's not from a bougie artsy family where such things are chill or anything either. She, however, had a brilliant career and is a civil servant and rn she's in a veryyy high ranking position because she's worked her way up. Everybody around her pitied her (for being single and childless) but she was just out there making $$$ by the time she hit her late 40s people stopped pestering her because by that point, it's kinda "too late" to settle down. BUT GUESS WHAT HAPPENED??? she met a reallyyyyy cute Swiss-German man who was visiting our state/city and she happened to be the one showing him around?? (someone linked them up basically) and that wonderful meet-cute led them to marriage in like 2 months lol ,,, this lady who had been single for 47+ years found the right guy and married him in less than 2 months???? Isn't that sooooo romantic??? It's all about timing 💛💛 and now they've been together for a decade and spend most of their year travelling the world ✨and are very much in love

So different eras of our life will have us focusing on different things. Rn it's probably best to make that $$$ and focus on yourself. Love will find you when it needs to 💛✨💛

3. About flirting in non-English

JAJAJSJ yess I used to cringe 😬 hearing Desi flirting across languages 😭but now I feel like I've finally decolonised my mind to find it cute 😭
