Its absolutely no coincidence that the people being sent baseless sexual assault accusations against predstrogen have, from what I've seen, been young transmascs.
The terfs behind the harassment campaign are so brazenly trying to prey on anybody they reckon might have any transmisogynist tendencies and are trying to use that to sow discord in the trans community. They see transmasculine people as potential avenues for recruitment (and eventual detransition) and it's extremely fucking important that the people being sent these anons do not fall headfirst for the bait. They want you to go 'uh oh, guess trans women are sex pests after all' and that to stick with you and fester, and turn that seed of prejudice into the continued harm of transfem people.
If you want to be a meaningful ally to transfem people right now you have to be vigilant for this shit, and correct it where you see it. If you think being used as an angle of recruitment by bigoted harassment is gross, imagine how it would feel to be the damn focus of the harassment.

Little things adults and older people can do to help younger people and children feel included, safe, and respected as an equal individual:
Ask before touching the young person - even for hugs. Ask before you take pictures of them, and let them see photographs of them before they are printed or sent to others (even family).
Apologize when you are wrong
Ask for a young persons thoughts on a subject, then engage with them after they have spoken
Demonstrate behaviour you want to see from them (see: apologizing). Say "excuse me," say "thank you," say "please" to them
Validate their feelings, even if they don't know how to express them just yet
Remember that this is the first time they've been alive, and that you've had way longer to "figure it out"
These are some things I wish other adults remembered when engaging with young folks. We so often forget what childhood felt like and how unfair it all was because we were often awarded freedoms as adults that we never had as children. These kids are equal to adults, and they deserve the same courtesy, respect, kindness, and understanding we give to other adults.

Hi everyone,
It’s been extremely hot this month, so I wanted to share some information about autism and heat intolerances. Here’s an excerpt from one article:
Beyond common medical conditions caused by extreme heat (e.g., exhaustion and heatstroke), individuals with autism often have sensory sensitivities affecting their ability to regulate temperature; their heat intolerance may be part of sensory difficulties. Our recent interviews with parents and professional care providers suggest, after exposure to high temperatures, children with autism are significantly more likely to have rapid and unstable mood shifts and present strong behavioural, emotional, and communication challenges. In addition, limited outdoor opportunities greatly affect children’s routines and space for daily activities, further intensifying their stress and anxiety.
The full article will be down below if you’d like to read more:
I found another article talking about heat tolerance. Here’s an excerpt from that article:
Autistic people face multiple challenges during heat waves. They may have difficulty understanding why they need to wear a hat, coat, or sunscreen. They may struggle with finding comfortable places to sit or lie down, and they may find it difficult to keep themselves cool and safe.
Some autistic people suffer from hyperthermia (overheating) and hypothermia (underheating). This means they don’t always respond well to changes in temperature. For example, some autistic people may become agitated when they get too warm. Others may become anxious when they get cold. If this happens, it could lead to sensory overload and an outburst.
Also, children on the autism spectrum are more easily triggered when dealing with hot weather. They may become very upset by the increased body temperature, which makes them less able to control their emotions. An autistic child may also be at greater risk of overheating because he has trouble regulating his own body temperature.
(I know this refers to children, but I think this could be applied to teenagers and adults).
This article from this excerpt will also be below if anyone wants to read through it:
I hope many of you find this helpful. Stay cool, hydrated, and safe.

you know one thing the internet has taught me? to stick up for myself. now if a creepy guy messages me i don't waste energy trying to be nice. i tell him exactly what i think of his behaviour and then i tell others. if someone tells me i suck i laugh and make sure i have people that care about me surrounding me. so you know. the internet's a bad place, but not all bad <3

Some quick thoughts on the current news letter!
Tumblr media
According to Toby, chapters 3 and 4 combined are longer than chapters 1 and 2, which is ABSOLUTELY insane like we are getting SO MUCH in the future. And console ports... no wonder this is taking as long as it is!
(For good reason! Game design from what I've seen is a long process...)
Also! I'm very interested in the new game maker changes to the chapters, Toby said to keep an eye on the official twitter account for updates on that, I think i might have to replay the first two chapters just to see how it works. (I hope my laptop can run the new versions at least...)
There's some unique stuff happening and honestly even if we still have to wait I glad things are getting closer for the next chapters!
That's all I wanted to say. I leave you all with the cute and fun sprites from this newsletter!
