Learning that Chakotay’s actor is a complete scumbag makes me realize that the Star Trek’s writing team can disguise even the worst attributes. Makes me feel a little sad that a character that I really liked turned out to be the type to make fun of me for even writing this blog post. I feel a little gross cheering him on at the beginning of the show.

LORD just been thinking about how much I’d love a Data, Vic Fontaine and the doctor support group so they can discuss their struggles (non organic discrimination, dehumanisation, lack of freedom etc) and also how their situations differ. Such as Vic who is more comfortable, but cannot leave the holo suite, and has the ds9 crew who (despite being limited by the station and having so many issues to work through) went to the effort to improve his situation n love him dearly.

Or the doctor w his holo emitter and position as CMO, going on away missions etc.

And data being a physical being and his ranking etc.

Even just all of them discussing their love of music. Maybe I want them to have a podcast.
