"Come on, you beautiful bastard, show yourself!"

Cross legged in a circle of candles, Klaus Hargreeves held court with the dead. Or, he was trying to. Beer cans and liquor bottles littered the attic floor around his circle, flickering in the candlelight. Another handle of vodka, half empty, sat beside him, the source of his ghostly dysfunction. But Klaus hadn't planned on summoning a ghost tonight--rarely ever, in fact.

After far too many drinks, Klaus has decided it was time to practice his powers. Five and Luther always got on him about training, since they were kids. Emotionally stunted by sixteen, Klaus had rarely taken the time to purposefully use his powers. The ghost-vision was always on, until he drowned it out with drugs and booze, but who knew what he could do when he was trying.

Unfortunately, what had fueled this motivation was also his power's undoing. The only spector to show up clearly was Ben. His dead brother watched skeptically, leaned against the windowsill nearby.

"This isn't going to work," Ben pointed out, decidedly unhelpful.

"Yeah, I heard you the first five times, Benny," Klaus shot back, glaring back at him. "Are you gonna make yourself useful, or are you too comfortable in the Peanut Gallery?"

"Oh, warm and cozy." But the sarcastic smile quickly dropped, eyebrows raising at something behind Klaus. "You've got a visitor."

Little Luther Hargreeves headcanons

warnings: !!season 4 spoilers!!, talk of canon events, swearing, classification au

doesn’t start regressing til season 3

it’s hard for him to get used to the feeling of being small since he’s so physically big but eventually he grows to like it

the first person he regresses in front of is Viktor and he immediately clocks what’s going on and starts to take care of Luther

he’s a big teddy bear when regressed!

so happy and giggly

the only time he gets upset is at night as it can remind him of his time isolated on the moon or nights spent in the academy as a kid after a bad mission when he felt lonely

he doesn’t like being alone while small and clings to just about anyone around

Sloane is his favorite caregiver but when she disappears he spends a lot of time being looked after by Viktor, Diego & Allison

him & Klaus play together while little and it’s always chaos

even more if Diego is small too and gets involved

Viktor & Allison have to separate them at times if things get too out of hand

but in Luther’s defense, he’s usually not the starter of the problems just a bystander or instigator occasionally

lover of forts & playing battlefield with nerf guns

him & Diego fall into their old competitive habits while they’re both regressed and Allison definitely has to make them cut it out

soooo gentle when he’s regressed, he’s so big and his strength is so much that he’s nervous of breaking something or doing something wrong on accident

makes Allison tell him bedtime stories almost every night

bonus points for Claire coming to listen too despite being a teenager

Luther & Claire are actually fairly close while Luther’s regressed or not

Claire’s a teenager but she’s a natural caregiver like her mother and loves to spend time with the family’s littles, Luther in specific

they’ll go to the park with Klaus & Allison and have picnics and play soccer or whatever game Klaus comes up with

these are some of Luther’s favorite days while small (Allison has pictures to prove)

when he’s small he always tries to include Ben in things but especially after Sloane disappears

he’s scared to lose another person but also feels he owes it to Sloane to get closer to Ben

Ben is… reluctant.. but goes along with it (mostly cause he knows Sloane & Fei would kick his ass for being a prick to a little)

Luther beams anytime Ben agrees to any activity

eventually Ben becomes more okay with it and starts to prompt Luther to go do things - he does always bring Viktor along though cause he’s not too confident in his solo caring abilities

Luther always tries to include everyone anyways but if he notices someone’s in a bad mood or being distant he’ll try extra hard

Life of the Party - Open RP

They say he's the life of the party. There's irony in there somewhere, if Klaus's foggy head could process it.

Stumbling out of alley, flashing lights and thudding base in his wake, the Seance--Number Four--grimaced in the light of dawn. Why did it have to be so damn bright? His body ached from a night of mindless clubbing, reeking of the sweat and smoke of not only himself, but a hundred others in the night. Where to go from here?

Despite the liquor warm in his belly, Klaus shivered in the early morning air. Now that he's down the block, everything just seemed so...quiet. Peaceful. Only a few cars on the road. Only a few spirits following him. One of whom was being particularly annoying for a six AM walk of shame.

"Oh will you be quiet?" he groaned as he wandered the street, tired of his dead brother's nagging. "I'm not--I mean, not like that. Besides, don't you ever get tired of--of henning me?"

Not going in any particular direction, Klaus found himself passing a few early morning joggers. They gave him wide berth, considering he was slurring at thin air beside him. When he caught his own reflection in a parked car, Klaus didn't blame them.

Dark circles smeared with eyeliner, a sickly grey to his skin, and glassy, blown out pupils stared hazily back at him. He might as well be a ghost himself. Ignoring Ben's insistence that they go home, Klaus pulled himself away from car with a shiver. At some point in the night, he seemed to have misplaced his shoes, and the cold sidewalk was making his feet go numb. Maybe Ben had a point.

No sooner had the revelation cross his mind, when Klaus looked up, catching sight of his one and only savior: a busted up sign reading "GRIDDY'S DONUTS".

"Perfect--we'll get some coffee, warm up our feetsies, and be back before Luther's pre-breakfast work out," he was saying, seemingly to himself as he pushed through the door. A charming ding! sounded somewhere in the building, and Klaus gave a wave to the waitress behind the counter. "G'morning Ms. Rofa, just the usual tonight--aw shit..."

Of course his favorite booth was the only table occupied, this early in the morning. With their back to him, he can't see their face, but it doesn't matter. Fueled by an astonishing amount of liquid courage, Klaus stomped his way over to the table. His table.

"Hey, who do you--who do you think you are, buddy?"

in reality, they would 100% all go see it but i’m doing this with more of a “girls night but not really” vibe for tonight. the victims? allison, viktor and klaus for starters. they’re already the OG girl’s night trio- though it’s actually more of a girl night (singular) (allison).

to make it a girls night (plural) (also cus diego wants her to feel like “part of the family”) lila joins. she brings along sloane cus they are the duo istg i will make this canon.

allison actually has a part in the movie, but somehow holds out on telling anyone… just for klaus (and everyone else too tbh) to freak tf out and start screaming “OH MY GOD!!!! FUCKING ALLISON ITS YOU!!! YOURE BARBIE!!!!!��. (btw i loved seeing ritu in the movie she was great <333)

they all dress up in pink outfits btw (just like me and my friends :D) such as hot pink suit for viktor and the most fucking insane outfit for klaus ever. he finally dresses for the occasion!!!!!
