hmm…since it doesn’t snow in sumeru, i think we’d only have reason to, when i bring up a trip to dragonspine ! because it DOES fall right into my field, as it used to be sal vindagnyr, so he accompanies me on my field work — helping me decipher ancient carvings and frescoes and such (& also perhaps because he is a little worried ? ^^;; since it’s not the safest place in the world…)

i don’t think he would be very good ! but i also don’t think dragonspine would be a super safe place to learn….so we practice a bit before hand: i take him out to one of the little oases in the desert, maybe write some runes into the sands...something something infuse them with cryo energy (via my vision ofc) so we have a makeshift frozen pool to skate on ^^

he can read all the books he wants, but theory without practice is empty Lollz i giggle at how clumsy he is at first, but ofc i help him — tbh it is nice to have him rely on Me for once, and i think he can tell, so he feigns helplessness a little longer even though he actually picked it up pretty fast via applying physics ;p ueue skating backwards while holding his hands so i can lead him and once he gets it on lock, maybe we can even waltz a bit under the stars c:

and then once we DO go to dragonspine, perhaps we can skate around starglow cavern while exploring because i keep thinking about this scene from barbie magic of pegasus lol !! jfalsd;jf that bit with "stay close to me and you'll be fine."  + "I hope I can handle it." is soooo jadetham to meeee
