The church thing confuses me. God forgives all sins. So, why does Yolanda assume because she trauma dumps in the confessional booth. That she's forgiven but Cindy isn't. Like God forgives whether you go to church or not. I don't.. how is she going to church every Sunday but she doesn't believe in forgiveness for others.

stargirl is great because the morality of whether or not killing is okay depends solely on how cool it is. artemis can kill icicle because he killed her parents, which is not cool, and because she set him on fire with petroleum jelly, which is SUPER cool and both of these things mean we should root for her. mike killing icicle is also cool, because it was funny, and because he was making passes at mike’s mom, which is super not cool. killing the gambler wasn’t cool because he just learned what morals are & that he has a daughter. but also killing on the whole is morally wrong because that’s what villains do and we’re not villains, which means murder is something you have to stumble into via circumstance
