Hidden among the other relics outside of Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities at Disney's Hollywood Studios is this stone foot. This foot originally was a part of one of the large Anubis statues found on The Great Movie Ride!

The Disney Lightning Lane / Genie+ / app thing is just godawful, this is by far the worst Disney experience I've ever had.

Working in Batuu can truly make you feel like an other-worldly being. Anytime I say "bright suns" or "rising moons" (which is our phrases for good morning/afternoon or goodnight) I get stared at by the guests like I'm a crazy person

There are exceptions where guests will play along and say it back to me, or just acknowledge that it's a normal saying in the area. Just 8 times out of 10, it's the other way

It's 2004 and you can spot many trash can designs from the DCA 1.0 era, stockpiled behind Disneyland in an area that would eventually become Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Can you identify all the lands represented? And who owns that bike?

Jenny Nicholson’s new star wars cruiser video and her experience reminds me of when i went to star wars land with my boyfriend. Im the one who actually cares about star wars and loves it, he was literally just tagging along to spend time with me and we’d have a good time riding rides while i geeked out. Characters all went right to him to interact with his phone, and a stormtrooper literally told me to go away because he wanted to do soundboard lines to my bf’s camera.

I was really sad at the end of the day, like i felt like a bad person and like i did something wrong for wanting to interact with the land as someone who loves star wars. My bf had a great time tho. Good for him.

The BD-X droids in Galaxy’s Edge were the absolute cutest! I hope they keep them around after Season of the Force

Personal head canon is that Ezra would be seen as this super chill, super awesome, super handsome Jedi Knight by the New Republic citizenry EXCEPT for his deranged attachment to using ‘Jabba’ as an alias.

You search his name on the Holo-Net and Jabba’s pic comes up. That’s how often he uses it. (Ezra is delighted by this; Sabine decidedly less so.)

Next time you visit Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities at Disneyland, keep an eye out for a crystalline model that resembles the buildings found in the concept art for Discovery Bay! The proposed land for Discovery Bay is now being utilized by Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

On a trip to Batuu

Felt like finally drawing a variation of "Jedi Survivor Goes to Disneyland," but as "Cal, Merrin and BD-1 go on a trip to Batuu." I have been waiting to do another one of these "fandom goes to Disneyland" drawing things, and I finally got the chance to take some pics in Galaxy's Edge the other day during a recent Disneyland trip.
