If Jedi had TikTok

So I was imagining a TikTok trend that would basically just be the Jedi/Padawans looking all presentable and perfectly Jedi perfect ™ saying “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” and then immediately cutting to whatever chaos they are currently engaged in, for example:

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Qui Gon says, immediately before being shown adopting another ‘pathetic life form’ that may will cause them trouble later

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Obi Wan says, before decapitating a battle droid behind him without even looking at it

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Anakin says, as he replaces all of Windu’s regular caff with decaf

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Ashoka says, as she helps Fives and Hardcase balance a bucket of glitter above Rex’s doorway

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Plo says, as he forces encourages C3-PO to tell Wolffe his latest tales of woe™ and R2 drama

• “Jedi, we are; keepers of the peace, our responsibility is.” Yoda says, before telling several younglings that if they keep copying the Temple Guards they’ll freeze and get stuck that way

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Quinlan says, then just… you know, exists how he does

• “We’re Jedi, we’re impartial peacekeepers” Plo Koon says, sprinkling ‘How to Unionize’ pamphlets around the barracks like confetti

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Obi Wan says, before arguing politely engaging with every political figure in the room just for the heck of it

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Leia says, before teasing the man breaking her out of a literal cell in the middle of space about his height

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Luke says, before replacing Han’s hair gel with glue

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Kanan says, calmly to the camera, before proceeding to promptly turn around and scream “SHUT THE KRIFF UP I SWEAR TO FORCE I WILL MURDER YOU ALL IF YOU DONT GO TO SLEEP RIGHT NOW”

• “We’re Jedi, we’re peacekeepers” Ezra says, as he sprints away from Zeb who is quite suddenly and mysteriously COVERED in hair dye (thanks, Sabine!)

I had so much fun with his tattoos, if you couldn’t tell. After Fox’s depressing ones and Cody’s cute but simple one, I needed to go all out with Wolfy boy’s tat. Honestly, this man deserves a cool tattoo after having to deal with the torture of interacting with C-3PO. I could FEEL his annoyance through the screen (that sassy fucking eyeroll I swear you could feel it though his helmet)

Chopper Base was named after Chopper, not because Chopper had died, but because he played an important role in helping the Phoenix rebel cell locate it.

My point? I subscribe to the idea that Echo Base on Hoth was named after Echo, and further headcanon that it was named thus because Echo was instrumental in helping the Rebel Alliance in many ways including establishing the base, not because Echo died.

Kallus's Eyes

So, I made a connection, Kallus is likely very light sensitive.

Our guy has Amber eyes.

Thought it was kind of neat information to share about how Kallus likely interacts with his world and now I completely headcanon that he's very light sensitive. 💛

you know what tales of the jedi arc i want? ezra training jacen. i don't care what the plot of said arc is but i want jacen as ezra's padawan and at least one scene where ezra is sitting on his own and he's pretending like he's speaking to kanan and acting like he's updating kanan on jacen's progress and jacen overhears him as ezra is saying "you'd be so proud of him, i just know it"

OH MY GOD YES ITS FINALLY TIME FOR ANYA TO SHINE

Okay heres her lore:

She was born to two young, but loving and financially stable parents in Coruscants mid-levels.

When she was 16, her mother became pregnant with her baby brother, Alexsandr. She graduated high school two years early, set to go to a prestigious university in the upper levels.

Shortly before after she graduated, her father died in a work-related incident. Her mother couldnt handle the stress of a newborn and a dead husband and prompty fucked off after Alexsandr was born.

Anya, the kindest, most hardworking, and tender soul to ever have lived, took it upon herself to raise her baby brother.

She dropped her university acceptance to pick up jobs (THREE OF THEM) to support them. Coruscant isnt kind, and eventually price-gouging and ever-increasing rent forced them down to the lower levels just before Alexsandrs fifth birthday.

So Alex grew up with a half-mom half-sister who dedicated her life to raising him. She sent him to a mid-level school, refused to let him get a job until he was 16 so that he could focus on his studies.

The pair were as close as they couldve been, even though Alex was a little shit.

Alex helped out where he could (pickpocketed the rich looking people during his commute home from school) but Anya worked tirelessly to give him a good life.

Just before Alex's 16th birthday Anya got sick, just like everyone in the lower levels do at some point.

They didnt have the money to get her help, and even if they did it wouldnt have stopped anything-- it would have just prolonged it.

She died shortly before Alex's 18th birthday. She was thirty four.

Alex didnt make enough money on his own to keep their shoebox apartment and turned to couch hopping.

It was no question for him to enlist in the empire; free room and board, and a near guarantee that he could get the hell off of Coruscant.

Alex never really got to mourn her. Not until nearly 18 years later after defecting and knowing that Anya would have been proud.

Proud of him for leaving Coruscant.

Proud of him for defecting.

Proud of him for doing the right thing.

So yeah thats the Anya lore. Lots of headcanon-y mumbo jumbo but we ball

New rebels headcanon that for his first few days on the Ghost it took Ezra an extra few seconds to respond to his name because he wasn’t used to hearing it. Like there were a couple people on Lothal who knew Ezra by name, like Mr Sumar, but really not anyone he seemed to run into frequently. He definitely wouldn’t be used to people just…calling his name to get his attention

Secondary thought that at first Zeb found it funny that Ezra reacted to “Loth rat” and “kid” a lot faster than his actual name until he realized what was going on

okay but imagine grown up omega and hera after the defeat of the empire and them meeting up with the rest of the bad batch and jacen is also there and they get to catch up with each other and then hera says something along the lines of "you know, you saved his father" because you can be damn sure kanan confided in hera about his experience with order 66, so she knows.

now, the only ones who were there when kanan escaped from them, were hunter and cross, but i think that hearing that kanan got to live a somewhat happy life with hera and the rest of the ghost crew, that must have been a relief for both of them. for hunter because of his Dad Instinct™ and probably having been worried about what happened to the kid. for cross because that's one less person on his concience.

also, hera wouldn't be where she is today if it weren't for them, helping her and her family on ryloth, and saving her husband from certain death when he was just a child. the batch helped the rebellion more than they were aware of. hera will be forever thankful to clone force 99.

Auntie-soka AU in which Ahsoka overhears the plan to separate Padmé and Anakin’s twins, and while extremely emotional about her friend’s death and her masters fall, she takes the twins herself and escapes off planet with Rex. She raised them making sure they knew how wonderful their mother and father was while training them both in the force. The twins would also have uncle Rex and a bunch of clone uncles, not to mention this would mean Leia and Luke would be with Ahsoka in Rebels as well. Cut to Ahsoka and Kanan sharing ‘what happened when my padawan/adopted child’ didn’t listen to me’ stories

Went with something a little fun I think. Behold: Formative Childhood Trauma Backstory Event Swap!

In this AU, it's Sabine's parents who speak out against the Empire and get taken away when she's seven, leaving her to scratch out a living for her and her brother in the wilderness of Krownest. There's not much time for painting, she doesn't have access to the forges so she grew out of her armor pieces, and she learned very quickly that brightly dyed hair tends to attract predators, lol. But she managed to keep herself and her brother alive until the Ghost crew picked them up.

Ezra, meanwhile, was the one who got sent to the Imperial Academy and was a promising student until he got a little too close to the truth of why students like Dhara Leonis were disappearing. He spoke out but the Bridgers couldn't stand with him, too cowed by the oppression Lothal had been facing for years. Speaking out also immediately put a target on his head and got him a trip to the Inquisitorious. Fortunately he wasn't there long before he managed to escape to where Kanan could find him.

Had a lot of fun coming up with their designs. For Sabine I basically gave her lots of furs and pelts (from hunting) and stuff to keep her warm and with Ezra I kind of had the thought that after escaping he would try to repaint his Inquisitor armor. Not nearly as well as Sabine might, so it's a bit crude in places. She fixes it up all nice for him later and also helps dye the bodysuit. :)
