Without counting the Garashir cameo because that was crazy and I still can't believe they did, you know which cameo was my favorite in the Lower Decks two-episode finale?
My girl T'Pol!
Enterprise is such a forgotten show, and while I understand the reasons some people never liked it I always think it's very unfair, because it grew a lot with time and even if it was flawed it tried. And I will always defend that the third and fourth seasons were really good, some of my favorite Trek seasons of it all.
But Enterprise is not remembered by the new Trek almost never - TOS is all over Disco and Strange New Worlds, The Next Generation was all over Picard (literally, in its third season especially) and Lower Decks mentioned it a lot. Deep Space Nine had cameos in Lower Decks too, and Picard remember it as well in its last season (remembered it very badly, I'm so sorry changelings). Voyager is extremely linked with the excellent Prodigy.
But Enterprise? The only thing I can remember is Archer being name dropped here and there.
So I loved that they brought back Jolene Blalock to play T'Pol one more time, and gave this alternate universe T'Pol the thing that the finale of Enterprise denied its characters...
... a lifetime of happiness in the relationship that they spent almost four years working on.

Yeah, so... The Admiral said at Broken Bow that if the Enterprise failed (the first) the Vulcans would not allow such a mission for at least another century. What if they had failed and thus the Federation had never been born?
Hey there! Apologies for the delay in answering - it's been a little hectic over here!
I think if the Enterprise had failed in it's initial mission, the course of history would have taken a rather sinister turn. Vulcans at that time were slowly being infiltrated and undermined by Romulan agents via temporal tampering, and I cannot see a version of events in which the Enterprise fails and Earth comes out with any kind of independence by the end of it.
Pre-Kir'Shara recovery, the corrupted Vulcan officials running things would have absolutely used Archer's failure to justify further restrictions and 'safeties' put in place, presumably to 'protect Earth and Humans' from themselves. Uncorrupted Vulcans might protest, and maybe even lift some of the initial restrictions with time, but I do have to wonder if the relationship between Earth and Vulcan at that time would ever recover. Most likely, I think, it would rapidly become antagonistic, rather than cooperative.
Humans were already chafing under Vulcan supervision, as we see from the very beginning of the series. The addition of further restrictions and prohibitions, plus whatever else the corrupted Vulcan High Council could get up to in the interim, would only worsen that.
And then we add in the Andorians, because of course we do. Andorians already have a history of supporting insurrection and guerilla warfare amongst species oppressed by Vulcan control, pre-Federation, and I don't doubt they'd be quick to add Humans and Earth to the list of agents in their proxy-conflicts with Vulcans. Andorians might genuinely like Humans, even under the circumstances, but I think we can all agree that a version of the world in which Humans find it necessary to import Andorian contraband equipment and weapons to overthrow a corrupt Vulcan overseer would not have Andorians seeing Humans at their best. Or vice versa.
Lord only knows what the Tellarites and Denobulans would be doing during this alternate history timeline, but it probably wouldn't be terribly supportive outside of the Denobulan participation in the Interspecies Medical Exchange. And even then...
Needless to say, it's a good thing Captain Jonathan 'I'm Definitely Not Concussed' Archer didn't fail.

Can’t believe there’s homophobic Star Trek fans. Like. Are we watching the same show. Because im watching the “in the future all of humanity will put aside their differences and accept everyone and everybody, to create a better future” show, you seem to be watching the “everybody hates each other and everything and people still all hate everyone else and this is very good and beneficial to humans” show.
“Gene Roddenberry wouldn’t have wanted Star Trek to be gay!” He also did want Dianna Troi to have 4 breasts but I don’t see anybody talking about that now do we
