Year: 3 Blood Type: O+ Hobby: Stargazing Favorite Food: Mooncakes Favorite Subject: Astronomy Proficiency: Sharpshooting Magical Medium: Twin jackalopes Apollo and Artemis are connected to Alune and Aphelios respectively. Artemis' fiery spirit balances out with Aphelios' cool demeanor. From dealing with fighting monsters, training their new team, interacting with new people, or even cramming before an exam, Aphelios and Artemis are able to put their heads together to achieve their best results.

History: Hailing from one of the many adjacent Star Clusters of Targon Prime, Aphelios and his twin sister, Alune were a part of a team of Star Guardians years ago that swore to protect their home from the forces of darkness.

Aphelios and Alune worked alongside their team- consisting of Diana, the twins, and Briar- for years. Briar, being their newest member, was still unsure of her power she had as a Star Guardian. One day the team had found themselves standing off against Morgana in order to defend their home, and that was when tragedy struck. Briar, being seen as the weakest, was lured in by Morgana's dark power. Easily, Briar became overwhelmed by it and lost control. Her power corrupted her and turned her to evil. Almost instantly, she began attacking her comrades in her frenzied state.

Without much time to act, Alune tried to figure out a way to stop Briar while Diana and Aphelios worked to hold her off. The two struggled against their corrupted ally and were both on the brink of being defeated. In a desperate attempt to protect her allies- especially her twin brother- Alune channeled the power of the First Star to banish Briar to the darkest depths of the cosmos to ensure she could never hurt anyone again. However, such a great burst of power came with a cost. Such an act tore holes into the stars around them, transforming into portals . The surprise of such an event gave Briar a moment to strike. She lunged to attack Diana, the leader of their team, in an attempt escape.

Aphelios did not know how to react. He could take the chance to rescue Diana, or use this opportunity to escape with his sister. He found himself frozen.

But Alune took action. To protect him, Alune rushed Aphelios to one of the torn open portals. Aphelios protested, fighting back against his sister, but it was too late. He found himself on the edge of two worlds. He gripped onto his twin sister, attempting to pull her to join him, but Alune felt herself get ripped away. The last thing Aphelios saw of his world was Diana collapsed on the ground and Briar pulling Alune with her into the depths of space.

Aphelios fell from the portal and crashed into a park in Valoran City, completely unsure of where he was. All he knew is that he had to find some way home. He had to find Diana and figure out where his sister had ended up.

Though he couldn't do it alone.

Now, Aphelios has found himself taking the lead of his own team of new Star Guardians in the hopes of reuniting with his former allies by any means necessary.

Guess who's sick agaiiiiiin (tip: its me and I'm mad about it)

In lieu of the usual digital art, I played around with some traditional concept work taking place in the recent star guardian au. Fortunately I've had star guardian centered aus in my brain for a good while (I think from around star guardian rakan, xayah, and zoe's release?) So I have a solid enough idea of the aesthetic of the monsters (my star guards lore predates star guardian fiddlesticks, hence why such a huge difference from canon) but never really had a specific springboard to design critters around?

Top was more or less inspired by a video dissection of the 'Mimics' from 'Edge of Tomorrow' and was more of a test drive of the aesthetics I wanted out of the dark star's beasts? Bottom, however, may be loosely familiar if you've seen the last few posts

i’ve started thinking about enemy types for my au.

i thought it would be fun to start by redesigning the patra from zelda 1, there’s a lot of potential in the design since it doesn’t have any modern appearances.

AU Idea -w-

Stanley Pines was not doing so well right now. He was in a motel room sniffing up the last of his cocaine when everything went black. Before he knew it, he found himself in space with a giant Axolotl floating in front of him.

The Axolotl told Stan that he died but they will give him a second chance at life under one condition. The Axolotl explained how they had a precious little daughter named Luz. Long ago, she tried to bring enlightment to the multiverse but was trapped in a magic amulet. If Stan frees her and takes care of her with his “partner” for an entire year, he will be given all the riches in the world. Stan was pretty sure the riches thing was hyperbole but before he could ask who his partner was, he awoke in the motel room, where he quickly ran to the bathroom to throw up.

After that, Stan sat on the bed all alone. He thought about the encounter he had with the Axolotl. How the hell was he supposed to find a god and free it? And apparently he had to babysit it with someone else that the Axolotl didn’t tell him about? Who is his partner? At that time, he got a knock at his door and is given a postcard from Ford that says “PLEASE COME”. Stan hasn’t seen his brother in 10 years. What if he was the partner the Axolotl was talking about? He wasn’t sure but couldn’t take any chances.

Stan found himself driving to where his brother resided, a cozy town called Gravity Falls. On the way there, he was chased by Rico and his goons. The chase led him to a club and as he scurried around, he bumped into someone. He looked like a man, but had shoulder-length hair and…was that lipstick? And eyeliner? It was probably one of those drag queens, since he was wearing a dress. Stan didn’t care. What he did care about was that he accidentally pushed the man’s drink out of his hand. Since he seemed to have lost Rico, Stan quickly picked up the cup. “My bad, dude!” He yelped. As he looked into the man’s eyes, he noticed he was wearing a necklace.

And it radiated a lovely purple light.
