Huh...in addition to headcanonning that Ford is aroace...I can see him also nonbinary.

Because here's the thing...he's been through many dimensions over the past three decades and I doubt that all of them has the same gender concept as we do.

(Say he appears in a Dimension similar to the Gems from Steven Universe. The Gems are nonbinary by nature!)

So, I have a hard time believing that he would have a problem with gender identity and the like currently (in the past, maybe. Filbrick doesn't seem like the pride kinda guy if you catch my drift)

I can see Ford seeing all of these gender identities and realizing a bit about himself.

Hell, maybe he actually read about it in college. Nonbinary has a vast and rich history in of itself and maybe Ford stumbled across a book about it at some point. Or something he learned from his studies at Gravity Falls. Who knows.

And of course kept it to himself because...well, he's got enough baggage.

Ford does see himself as a man...but doesn't feel that he 100% fit the mold of a man.

Soooo....yeah.

OK so I'm going to be straight up and say that Stan's fashion sense was doing him no favors and I finally hit the point where I had to do something about it

I will specify that I wanted to maintain his vibe while making his design a little more visually interesting, I thought the bun was the worst, it just elongated him more than he already was and so I opted for something a little more relaxed that actually does something with his red hair. I really didn't like his pink pants and originally considerd switching the colours around but then thought a darker red on the pants would be nice if I leaned into a reds/autumn palette and then I thought "plaid blazer?" and was like, he could look so businessy but still pretentious/shady whatever, and something something turtle neck and he could do with way too many rings lol

What do y'all think at my alternative outfit?

Again this was a quick little symmetry scribble so I didn't spend too long on it but his outfit was an itch that needed scratching for myself lol
