"The Model 840 Reverbalux is the first independent tube delay effects unit offered by Standel. It features a single “Echo Volume” control with an effects bypass switch on the back panel. When engaged, the delay works and sounds great: when bypassed the tube preamp colors the signal in a very pleasant and harmonic way. The Model 840 is the predecessor to the Model 841 which features 3 controls on the face plate, though otherwise looks the same."
