Trail Rides

As I'm sure you've noticed this is a little different from my regular content! I wanted to share a little SSO content, and you may see more of it in the coming months with holiday things! But onto the actual post.

I took Vancouver out for a little trail ride in Golden Hills today! He was a very good boy, like always. We just went on a little fall hack to get ready for Halloween!

But of course, you guys have never met Vancouver! So, a little bit about him. He is a 4 year old project horse I bought a while back. He specializes in jumping but keep your eyes out for him in the sims 4! He may be arriving at a certain stable soon. Anyway, he's an English Thoroughbred and his show name is Blazing Fields. He very quickly became one of my favorite horses and has been there ever since!

HORSE DISCOUNTS!

★The Morgan is 549 Star coins

★The Knabstrupper is 399 Star coins

Head over to the Bazaar in Moorland to grab these discounts, or visit the horses' usual homes around Jorvik to get these discounts for a limited time. These special offers will be around until the Wednesday Update on September 4th.

SSH EXCLUSIVES NOW IN JORVIK!

All horses that were once exclusive on the Star Stable Horses App are now available in Jorvik! From this update on, all app horses (aside from the Texas Bluebell) will be permanently found in SSO. Plus, a few special coat variations that were once app exclusive are available at the Bazaar:

Variations of the Morgan, Appaloosa, American Paint Horse, and Knabstrupper as mentioned above!

Additionally, one Icelandic, one Gotland Pony, one Finn Horse, and two Fjord Horse variations are permanently in Jorvik and temporarily discounted at the Bazaar.

THE TRAILBLAZER TRACK!

The Trailblazer Track is live for one more week, rewarding hard working Star Riders with unique items for both rider and horse. Keep up with daily activities all over Jorvik, and earn Trail Points as you go! Every time you earn 1000 Trail Points, you'll reach Milestones that unlock rewards! There are 25 milestones in total, meaning 25 sparkling prizes.

If you aren't a Star Rider, you'll still earn the Trail Points, but won't be able to collect the rewards. If you choose to become a Star Rider, you will be able to collect them automatically.

Try it out and let us know what you think about the Trailblazer Track! It's available until September 4th.

MORE MOORLAND!

Ydris caught wind of the ongoing renovations around Moorland, and decided to give his circus tent a little glow up on his own! Penny and Polly are also excited to share their changes to the Pony Race, so bring out your small, but feisty steeds and check it out!

HORSE RETIREMENT

The next horse to leave us for greener pastures is the Gen 2 English Thoroughbred. During the Wednesday Update on October 23rd, it will leave Jorvik and not be available for purchase from then on. Find them at Ferdinand's Horse Market before it receives its well-earned retirement! You will be able to purchase the Thoroughbred for 400 Star Coins.

While we love each and every one of our old horses, we sometimes need to make changes to ensure the game can run at the best possible performance. One of these changes will be to slowly phase out our very oldest horses.

If you already have purchased these horses, no need to worry! The horses will stay unchanged in your safe ownership. Please note that they will not be further supported with is bug fixes, updates, or new tack.
