You save the surprise for a rainy, cold day. You know, you won’t need to wait long

Daniela is lounging in her bed as usual, her head hanging off the side and her hands busying themselves with her stuffed giraffe

She beams at you, her face upside down, when you enter her room

“Hello my love! Will you play with me?”, she asks, hopeful

A bee, yellow with black stripes, a clownfish she has named, of course, Nemo. You don’t even need to ask her to know this. You know her

Lastly, a leopard, and a fly she holds close to her

She giggles as she rolls around in her not so little pile, marking them all with her scent and giggling at the softness

And so, she asks her mother for a room yet again

And Bela reaaaaally had her feathers ruffled when she attempted to pile her stuffed animals in her study

Why?, Daniela still doesn’t understand. It’s not like they’re doing anything!

With her sisters supporting her wish of a room for her stuffed animals- if only to have their rooms not infested with them- Daniela grins when Alcina grants her one near her room

Immediately, she wants to have shelves and cuddle corners everywhere for her stuffed animals

You eagerly support her, smiling as she, with a lot of care, places them everywhere with a toothy grin

She’s so happy, you can’t help but spoil her a little bit

And so, you indulge her

Daniela is head over heels when she is given minis, keychain sized squishmallows, as well as rare ones

A cat with a hat?! She must have it!

Alcina does put a stop to it once the room is full, much to Daniela’s dismay

Even her puppy eyes won’t do the trick!

Instead she is scolded by her mother! Daniela doesn’t mind. She knows the countess can never stay mad or disappointed with her for long

She’s her precious youngest, after all! A card you know Daniela loves to play

According to Alcina, she can only have as many as fit in the room

Naturally, Daniela attempts to hide some in her sisters’s rooms. With no luck, only glares and scoldings coming her way

You remember a particular day on which a very grumpy and moody Daniela returned to her room, three squishmallows she had attempted to hide in her arms, having just came back from a three hour scolding of Bela

As usual, her unhappiness doesn’t persist, though

Instead you find yourself tackled as she shows you her collection for what must’ve been the 24th time already

She’s frowning, however, upon noticing 4 are missing

Meet Salt! I got her at the same time as Strawberry Cinnamoroll :3 Her name is Salita for those who know squishmallows but baby brain didn’t like that name. So now she’s Salt!

Bowtie Cinnamoroll! I bought him on a band school trip to Wildwood New Jersey, first purchase I ever made all on my own and he was so worth it! He’s now a huge symbol to me of freedom, that I still have a life after what I have now, I just need to make it there

Onesie Cinnamoroll! I bought him at the same place as Strawberry Hello Kitty! They also had Onesie My Melody but blehh money (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥) (Can you guys tell I have a favorite?)

Keigo makes sure that this day is incredibly special for you! Not only do you wake up to him kissing your face, smooshing it as he pokes and pulls your cheeks. But he wishes you a loud ‘happy birthday!’ and a bed ready for you to eat (Don’t worry, he ordered it. Although he wished he would have cooked it :((!)

The entire home is covered with presents!! Everything you desire is in your ‘nest’. Including new clothes, blankets, and a bunch of items that you certainly will enjoy! To add more, Keigo specifically has two presents that are special ones; which he gives you the minute you wake up. However, you will have to wait for the other one at midnight :)!

He likes going out, but due to his fame, it’s sometimes hard. Because of that, he’d like the both of you to do mellow things; either go to a private restaurant, stay inside, or simply go for a flight, and watch the view of Japan late at night on a tall building while eating fast food.

If wanted, he will plan a birthday party with some of your friends and family members. Though, he’d like to keep you for himself to celebrate this special day of yours.

You get a huge cake!! It’s colored with your favorite dyes and flavors. It looks like a wedding cake! It also has a small Hawks icon in the middle saying ‘happy birthday’.

Because of his bird traits, Keigo always takes his time ‘creating’ and ‘collecting’ gifts for you. Throughout the months, he watches you and your body language to see what you like; peering over your shoulder while you admire jewelry, makeup, or just clothes that seem nice. And if he asks if you like it, whether you say yes or no, it’s expected to be in the pile of gifts he gets you!

Toward the end of the night, he ends up gifting you a necklace with a part of his feather; it’s colored a cherry red, with a pendant of a picture of the two of you. A slight reminder of how much he loves you.

He makes sure to prep your face with a bunch of kisses while whispering a small ‘I love you’. Keigo loves you so much, he’s so happy he gets to spend this day with you.

Dabi:

As per usual, he’ll wake you up with warm kisses. However, he will intentionally ‘forget’ your birthday. While he sees you a bit down later in the day (preferably calling Toga to hurry up!). He’ll suddenly come up behind you and whisper happy birthday!

While he won’t buy you a million presents, he will get things that are special to you. A few things that he thought you liked, or simply saw you admiring from the window of shops when the two of you went by.

A few things being is he actually gets you a new phone and custom-stuffed plushie that’s made out of him! He also made sure to get some cupcakes colored off his ‘theme’.

Dabi always plans for your birthday accordingly. He absolutely loves to cook for you, so you would bet that all the cooking is made from him, especially the cake! Although, Toga may have joined!

The cake is quite plain. But it’s made with love!! It’s preferably your favorite, with a bunch of frosting and a huge candle that he got from the dollar store. He made sure that the candle was your favorite color and lit it up with his flames.

If he ends up hurting your feelings by pretending to forget your birthday, he’ll make it up by buying you multiple squishmallows and making him your ‘personal maid’.

Whatever you want him to do, he’ll do (with the occasional groan and grumble). But, he never meant to hurt your feelings, he just wanted to surprise you with a day that’s supposed to be a bunch of fun and surprises!

He would like to stay inside all day, rather watching movies or cuddling. But, he’ll make an exception for going to the public. Where you wanna go, you can! Wanna play laser tag? He might cheat a bit and jump to a high place, surprising you.

While he planned everything, he doesn’t really plan… the aftermath. He sorta just stands there while staring at you. The two decided to order pizza, your favorite, and watch some old sit-coms as he cuddled closer to your form!

Dabi makes sure to show that you’re extremely special to him, not only is he glad you’re in his life but you deserve this special celebration.

well since you need a distraction and want to hear from others-

I’ve been working on my recent TGAMM fic and I’m at one of those chapters where I’m all ‘oh I’ve had this stuck in my head for a LONG time and eager to write it out’ but of course I can’t say much since it’s top secret.

Also I’m going to a family birthday party and some little child is going to get one of those squishmallow plushies from me-it’s a cupcake cat. It’s super cute and I got to hug it a few times before putting it in the bag-it felt nice to hug and I’m sure she will love it too. (She’s also getting stickers).

Also I have too many drawing ideas to choose from, which is never fun. I have some ideas for that RE Village AU I want to draw out but half of them are depressing or border on dark humor.

The Hackeeteers Celebrating Valentines Day

Dylan- He's not a HUGE holiday person, but he promised Ryan he would help plan a party for Sarah, so he bought some fun little pokemon valentines (the kind where you get the little stickers or something). He also bought Ryan a couple roses and asked him to be his valentine :)

Ryan- HAS BEEN HARD AT WORK. He's a little dead inside but he tries to go all out to help give Sarah a good holiday experience, so he decorated their apartment, made little valentines day boxes, and chocolate-covered strawberries! (He really loved Dylan's roses)

Kaitlyn- She's not really a relationship person, so she spent the whole day running up to random couples shouting "HOW COULD YOU! I THOUGHT WE HAD SOMETHING", then cackling as the chaos ensued

Jacob- loves valentines day, he asked Emma on a valentines date like six times, and had a four-course meal prepped and a fancy rose bouquet purchased. What can he say? He's a romantic, all he wanted to do was shower Emma with gifts. But we all know how that goes, so he ends up staying home, crying, and eating chocolate all night.

Emma- She had a very busy day, going on several different valentines day dates, and collecting all of her gifts. At the end of the day though, she's back at Abbi's house, drinking wine and watching romcoms

Abbi- She also likes valentines day! She handmade her own little cards and gave them to all her friends! She always ends up buying herself a treat too, like one of those valentines squishmallows and ends the day watching romcoms with Emma

Nick- Listen. He tried. The holiday just kinda crept up on him.

Laura- Max loves valentines day, so she made sure to bring him plenty of flowers and bought him lots and lots of gifts. She even took him out to a fancy dinner.

Max- is a fiend for romance, and was VERY happy laura treated him to the perfect valentines experience. After their dinner, he probably gave Luara a very romantic gift, like jewelry. (in my mind I'm picturing the promise ring necklaces they wear in the game)

Happy Ayyám-i-Há! We had our Family Ayyám-i-Há party on Sunday! And I neglected to take any pictures, aside from the pictures of what I brought home. Lol. I was too busy stuck on the couch with an adorable sleeping chihuahua on my lap ^_^ So, my aunt had me for our Gift Exchange, and she got me these owl planter things, because everyone knows I love owls. Lol. Also some aespa photocards, Taylor Swift stickers (evermore & folklore themed), a bookmark from a store in China Town, and a big bag of Sour coke & cherry coke bottle gummies! My grandmother brought some knitted gifts for everyone to choose from, I got a scrunchy (made from alpaca), and I picked out a scarf, and a little bowl (that I thought would be perfect for one of my Squishmallows and it is! Miss Holly looks so cute! Lol) My aunt & uncle also gave me this set of postcards from Galveston, b/c I love postcards lol. It was a very fun party. I had my cousin for our gift exchange, and they loved their gift. gift for a 5 year old girl: coloring books and crayons, or a kids art set! i had one when i was that age and i loved it. calico critters toys are always fun gifts. or any kind of squishmallow stuffy!

ahh tysm! her mum gave me super vague suggestions and i feel bad bc i’ve got her brother a ride on excavator (they’re doing a joint party bc his birthday is a week later) but an art set would be super cool! she’d love it so much ♥️♥️

Today, we spent the day in Las Vegas. Some things that happened:

• The Miniso in the Fashion Show mall there didn't have Balala the Fairies stuff, but they DID have Love Live! Superstar!! figurines, which I didn't see at any other Minisos.

• The same mall also had a Hello Kitty Café which had half the items sold out, so I didn't go there (CityWalk, which is near my next hotel, has a location anyway...)

• We walked 20 minutes from our hotel to Circus Circus, where I saw claw machines with everything from Pokémon and Naruto plush dolls to animal and food hybrid Squishmallows. I also noticed they added a new SpongeBob ride, and one of the gift shops had a ton of SpongeBob merchandise as a result, and that the anime store that was mostly bootleg stuff the last time I was there now only sells official merchandise.

• We had dinner at Grand Luxe Café, where I had my usual choice of mashed potato spring rolls and rice. Fun fact: I first had this dish at this restaurant on my last trip to Las Vegas in 2021.

• I noticed very weird T-shirts with adult jokes and/or strange puns being sold there, mainly for kids. One of them read "Potty like a rockstar" (perhaps the most innocent), one talked about a party at a crib being held at 3AM, and another was about an order request for the "bottle of the house white" (which the shirt depicted with milk bottles).

• There is such a thing as Betty White mints, as I saw at a candy store:

• I ended the night with a delicious chocolate tart and a bubblegum-flavored macaron.
