#squid game crochet pattern

Sometimes I get too excited about crocheting and I have a little urge to create something… So I'mma introduce you 3 projects I’ve created myself.

The first one is this Flying Nimbus mobile… It was the first one I made as a commission to my one of my friends who was about to become a father. Honestly, this looks pretty ugly, and ai am owing myself a redo of it. When I find time to reshape it, I will start working on a pdf version. Let me know if you’re interested.

The second one I am really proud of it even though it looks pretty simple. This is Mr. Potato from Peppa Pig, made as a commission for my childhood friend. I do like this one and I’m still owing myself a pdf version of it.

And last, but not least, these lovely Squid Game Pink soldiers. They are definitely my pride and joy. I do have a full pdf pattern of them, but I need to translate it to English still. If you’re interested on purchasing it, don’t be shy and message me!❤️

I am eager to keep trying and creating new patterns, but its a long and arduous road to follow and I’m still organizing things around here. I’ll keep you updated of these babies patterns whenever I can.

okay so like, now that the Tiktok ban is happening basically for sure, I would really like to nurture this space I've abandoned and bring all my new interests that I've gained since I was last a regular user on this site lol. So if anyone posts the following, pls interact!

-Arcane -Julien Solomita (howdy dinks) -Sapphic books/LGBTQ+ books -Video games (Farm sims, coop games, life sims, survival crafting, horror) -small businesses with pink/brightly colored ecclectic products, i.e. funky earrings or clothing or house decor. Same goes for goth versions of the same things hehe -crochet!! mostly patterns cuz I wanna learn new things to make hehe -TV shows (Yellowjackets, Squid Game, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, etc.) -Sapphic media! (photography, poetry, shows, movies, books, art, MUSIC, etc.) That's all I can think of off the top of my head that I feel like my dash is lacking. I just wanna find cool people and content to make me wanna come here again lolol. ty!

Finally completed the rest of the Squid Game x The Woobles collection. Took a while due to my busy job. I wasn’t too thrilled in crocheting the coffin since the pattern was a bit advanced for me. But I tried my best.

Works in progress - my first human-shaped crochet projects! I started on Hetch first (the poor little faceless blob behind Ranboo) based on the Squid Game pattern from Knot Bad. (Do links still not show up in tags? I'll put the pattern in the comments just in case. VERY beginner-friendly... obviously!)

Then I started making tweaks and I'd already bought Baby's First Beginner Yarn in gl!Ranboo colors in case I ever felt confident enough to try, and then I just couldn't stop. I'm making up most of this as I go along. As soon as Wrist Injury goes away, I'm going to try to do something fun with the button/Showfall logo on the back of the mask, see if I can make the jacket collar, and maybe eventually give the poor guy some hair. And Hetch will get limbs and a face someday too. I unravelled some of him when I realized I should give him flesh-colored hands instead of little black blobs, as cute as the blobs may be.

They both have little beanie bags to add some weight to their bodies also!

Side note, shout out to @ranboolivesaysstuff for having posted the most eerily convenient image results when choosing their eye color that I ultimately ignored. I don't know my own eye color without checking but at least I know Ranboo's!

I haven’t been feeling well which is why I haven’t posted often. But I feel better today.

I went to the library this week and they were selling used books for very cheap so I got some that had sewing patterns. And I checked out a Hozier CD and renewed a Panic at the disco cd and Les Mis cd. I went with a friend so after we went to Barnes and noble to look around and we got lunch together.

Yesterday I did a bit of cleaning and folded laundry.

Today I vacuumed and put clothes to wash and I washed some dishes. And I started crocheting a gift for my friend.

The day before I went to the library I hung out with my partner and we were able to play some videos games together and after went to get some food and chatted for a bit.

Still miss them though lol.

I’ve been preparing for classes to start. Although I didn’t prepare like I had wanted to. Hopefully this semester goes well and I’m able to bring up my gpa.

I’ve got to improve my makeup skills as well with a new cream makeup palette my friend gave me since classes are starting again.

Been watching squid games with my family and this new season is crazy and so much is going on. It’s cool to see more focus on side characters.

🍓 Do you have a dream project? What would you craft if you had infinite time and money?

Oooooh, tough one! I think I have to sort it by craft Knitting: there's this shawl that is the entire reason I joined Ravelry years and years ago. It's a star map of the night sky with all the visible stars as either yarn overs or beads. I'd want to knit that, but turn the circle shawl into like a dress or a skirt or a cardigan or something? Crochet: I...don't think I have a dream crochet project? I pretty much crochet anything I want to crochet. Hm...maybe the chameleon music box that plays "the lion sleeps tonight" that's by the same person as the UFO music box Sewing plushies: - Giant Toothless the dragon. Hands down. There are some AWESOME Toothless patterns out there and I will make one eventually. Kind of hoping one of my nieces ends up loving HTTYD so I can make the giant Toothless and then inflict it on my brother (like Toothpaste the Giant Squid I crocheted for them a while back lol) Sewing quilts: I have a few! I want to make an "Exploding Heart Quilt" (its rainbow triangles but a heart, and it's for my mom), a dachshund quilt (for my grandma), and I really really want to make my remnants quilt a whole quilt. For a while, my dream quilting project was the "Postcards from Sweden" quilt (rainbow triangles), but I made that one! Well. I still need to actually quilt it. But the quilt top is done!

Chain mail: something with scale mail. Anything with scale mail. I have the scales from knitting dragons, I just need to figure out a thing I can make with scale mail lol. Also a chain mail shirt for a plushie

My newest addiction is Squid Game. I guess I’m not the only one, lol. Or, at least, I don’t hope so🤣😂. So needless to say that I am now crocheting one of the guards, following a lalylala pattern.

Now, as most of us are aware the guards have shapes on their masks, which I would have to crochet and I just didn’t know how to do that. So, I went on YouTube and found the most amazing tutorial by Naztazia, for surface crochet. She explains really well how to do it and I thought I’d share with y’all. Enjoy!

He looks harmless… right? This little guy has a removable hood and took about two hours to design and make (from start to finish)!
