I used a Woobles bee pattern to make a pufferfish. I haven't done a ton of crochet, so I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. 😏

The Woobles kits are pricey, but they are extremely beginner friendly with their gently paced videos (in left or right handed versions) and use of cord instead of typical yarn.

I have made A Very Wobbly T-Rex! He uh. Is very adorable & has personality & makes me laugh every time I look at him because his eyes are off center & he's not very well balanced and only stays upright because of the tail 😅🤣🦖

Speaking of Fred, here he is! This is the first and only Woobles I've done so far, but I plan to get more of them. He worked up in less than two hours and I have more than enough yarn leftover to make him a twin. The party hat is also a Woobles pattern.

The pattern was easy to follow, and each step had a video to go with it. Plus the pattern used all the special tricks you see online for amigurumi, which I thought was really cool! I definitely recommend these dudes for learning, and it was fun as an experienced amigurumi maker, too. (Plus I love that I got a hook, a needle, and some stitch markers included, you can never have too many supplies.)

I added the eyebrows to give him a little more personality haha

9/13/24 | Aiden joined us for therapy today. petting him calmed us down, after the panic attack getting there, and used him during therapy. petting him as a stim. plushies can do so much!

and we're starting our The Woobles Kit today! we really want to learn to crochet. we tried by self and it was so impossible. so hopefully this kit will help!

Hi! There's a very popular brand that advertised themselves as a pre-started learn-to-crochet kit company, which I'm sure you can take a quick Google guess as to who. They, however, don't sell their crochet patterns in a gimmick to force you to buy their $40 crochet kits so you can't make/distribute the pattern on your own. No need to worry about that because this is a master post meant to share as many of the crochet patterns that I know, entirely for free! They could have gotten some revenue by selling the pattern themselves, but that's a bAd bUsIn3sS mOdEl so oh well 🤷🏾‍♀️

9/29/24 The Woobles Kit.. a real crochet attempt.. gonna try again hopefully tomorrow and get somewhere.. we were blurry at first, but grounded after while and Allison and Kuromi did it while a lot we're cocon. we want to get good at crocheting.. so we'll try again soon!! we've stopped cause our mom made us but we've been fixating on it for hours... redo and redo and redo and redo. we still hate what we have so far.. we gotts try again. now our thoughts are full our future service dog AND crocheting lol
