Midas, accidentally rebuilding Icarus’s house from season 2: “woah! I didn’t even realize I was doing that!”

Me, frantically trying to remember which tower was which material so I can match it:

I used to believe (and still do) that Midas always went radio silent around Fable to spite him and out of hate.

But now mix it with a little fear...

Midas had a /pos Fable (his name slips my mind) and - like other characters- I imagine they look pretty similar. So Midas having to see a version of their father being this manipulative, evil villain and what's more so, Midas started to experience life through Icarus and having to see their dad do what he did both to others AND Icarus may be a bit scary I'd back off too

This is my first post here and I am really nervous, but-

I want to post some of my edits here because I don't know what is going to happen with TikTok :(. The first time I heard this song, I was thinking on a Sherbverse edit because, Idk. Quixis not being sure if they are doing a good job? Just think about it-

But in all seriousness, the difference between Reo handing off the title vs Midas handing it off is so interesting to me. Like Reo just wanted the hell out of the world port and actually had the opportunity to go back and see his brother and continue like nothing happened, he kinda gave it to Midas, didn’t care that they were a teenager, immediately pulled them, practically said “hey! This job sucks! Thanks!” And dipped

Midas however, saw Icarus was a kid and couldn’t pull them. And once they did pull Icarus they were careful with how they passed on the title, gave them the explanation they needed and have been wanting, and then when they left they were lost because there wasn’t a world for them to go back to

I know the circumstances were much different for Midas becoming Quixis vs Icarus becoming Quixis, but Midas still very much could’ve been like “get me the hell out of here,” and leave without any more conversation, but they didn’t

Thinking about the parallel of Midas contacting Icarus to try and get them to take care of/protect themself and now Icarus contacting Midas to try and get them to take care of themself

Considering that Midas' hair would be incredibly long if it grew I'm the world port, I am now of the personal belief that their hair didn't grow while they were Quixis, they are so skinny and have long hair because of not looking after themself since they stopped being Quixis.

They don't know how to look after their body because for so long they didn't have to.

it’s nothing too crazy- but i went through a bunch of outfit tests for midas and very happy with the fit i landed on :D

The gods said because it's Fables 6 month-iversary I get to be a little decent at drawing today....

It's obviously not finished (I hope to finish it eventually) but here's a vision that came to me in the car lol

AU Where Mixis wasn't done with Fable before he "left the game" so they glitched him in to have some final words...

Hi I’ve returned from my time forgetting this app exists to not only remind the fable universe that Icarus solely listens to Jack Strauber, but also raise you the thought that Midas cannot stand the type of music Jack Strauber is. With where they’re come from, Midas is not used to such original and sporadic sounding music, making Jack strauber’s type of music overstimulate them anytime they heard Icarus listen to it from the world port. That being saiddd.. I feel like Icarixus still plays Jack Strauber music in the world port and it drove. Rael. Insane.

Midas compaires everything to things in other worlds, because those other worlds are all they know

They call us chat, because that’s what Rina calls us,

They say they know what not to do when making a world because they wouldn’t want it to be like Ripley’s,

They compare the first world they made to Sherbert’s,

They say that their world could be anything and then use Cedar and Helix’s worlds as examples,

Even when they were given the chance to make their world however they wanted, the ability to create their universe from scratch, all they did was make a mini worldport, because at the end of the day, that’s all they really know

Those worlds are all they’ve known for an infinite amount of time, the time they spent in their actual world minuscule compared to their time in the world port watching the others
