Thinking about the AU where Midas stayed in the WorldPort - since they had no world to go back to - and became a mentor/teacher to the new Quixis'.
Icarus having trouble with a certain abnormality and struggling and panicking a bit. They don't want to mess up, cause they need to do this right, they *have* to do it right, but its hard. Midas calms them down and calmly talks them through it until they get it right, assuring them that they're doing great.
Which i, personally, think is a nice little parallel/juxtaposition to when Icarus was trying to use Creataion powers but couldn't - and even made a new wack spot - and felt like a failure cause they couldn't do it.
Thinking about the parallel of Midas contacting Icarus to try and get them to take care of/protect themself and now Icarus contacting Midas to try and get them to take care of themself
Considering that Midas' hair would be incredibly long if it grew I'm the world port, I am now of the personal belief that their hair didn't grow while they were Quixis, they are so skinny and have long hair because of not looking after themself since they stopped being Quixis.
They don't know how to look after their body because for so long they didn't have to.
thinking about how its not like Midas *doesnt know* what they like. they just forgot. after spending so much time in the worldport, after decaying for so long, they just *forgot* what they liked.
because they remembered they liked lilies of the valley, only after they started moving along, creating a world of their own. but they couldnt tell us what they liked before, couldnt come up with anything they liked.
they just completly lost themself and i think about it a lot
Midas compaires everything to things in other worlds, because those other worlds are all they know
They call us chat, because that’s what Rina calls us,
They say they know what not to do when making a world because they wouldn’t want it to be like Ripley’s,
They compare the first world they made to Sherbert’s,
They say that their world could be anything and then use Cedar and Helix’s worlds as examples,
Even when they were given the chance to make their world however they wanted, the ability to create their universe from scratch, all they did was make a mini worldport, because at the end of the day, that’s all they really know
Those worlds are all they’ve known for an infinite amount of time, the time they spent in their actual world minuscule compared to their time in the world port watching the others
