Is there a list somewhere that has the way the character calls another? Like Toya calling Akito just 'Akito' but Kohane 'Azusawa-san'? I want to write a fic accurately lmao
the only one i could find was this slightly outdated fanmade japanese one, so I made a more up-to-date English translation of it

(click for better quality)
I also made some ones for the individual units + virtual singers but I'll put those below the cut

The farrier just left.
Seamus had an abscess. It's already blown out, which explains why he's been feeling better.
He checked the bottom of the hoof and found nothing wrong with it. He suspects the abscess was in the coronet band at the top of the hoof. It's still warm, and his other front hoof feels a bit warm as well. Farrier thinks he might blow another one on his other foot soon. He told us it's not unheard of to get one every so often that blows out the top of the hoof.
We talked it through and figured that Seamus might have a cold, which triggered the abscess. We've noticed some clear snot, but chalked it up to the cold weather we've been having. We will keep an eye on him. If the snot gets worse or turns colors, we will ask the vet for a round of antibiotics.
For now, Farrier has suggested to let him out so he can move around at his own pace. No need for more stall rest!
Picture of the blown abscess under the cut. It's not gross or gorey, but hidden just in case.

Specifically I think the vibe I want to capture with my Underfell is like. Genuinely scary and fucked up at first glance, but the closer you examine it, it's like thin ice, and you can see all the chips and cracks. It's only surface level. When you squint your eyes and tilt your head you see the misery underneath the anger, and once the infection begins to clear, once the thorn has been removed, they weren't really all that vicious after all

coconut pineapple, cherry and chocolate fudge for the ask game >< // if u want //
HII RAVEN HIII sorry I got to this a little late :'D ANYWAYZ TY FOR THE ASK YAAYYYY (link to the og ask game post!)
🥥🍍do you have any nicknames? and, is there anything you’d want to change your name to?
Yes I do! :3 I have a lot actually xD ppl usually call me koka but sometimes ppl call me kami. It's kinda funny but also kinda weird bcz kami means god/hair/paper in Japanese BWHSHWJS oh and uhmm there was this one person who nicknamed me koko which was kinda cute! Uhh ppl also call me kira bcz of another username I go by and a few specific ppl used to call me kir which I always thought sounded like an invader zim name so I loved it :]
Annd back when I was active on quotev one of my old friends on there gave me the nickname Sunberry bcz my name was Strawberry Sunflower and I think that nickname sticks out to me the most. Like I just thought it was super super cute and a nice way to shorten the name. My username actually used to be PrettySunberry on Pinterest before I changed it xD I miss them I kinda feel bad I can't remember their name but they deactivated their acc so I can't check now :[ but I MISS YOU IF YOU READ THIS THEN YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
(Also abt the last question no I don't think there's anything I'd change my name to..maybe if I had to I'd pick my old username I used on manga sites bcz it was super pretty imo but that's only if I had to. I'm content with the names I have now :3 unless this meant irl name--if so then maybe. I don't like my irl name that much but idk what I'd change it to so I gots to keep it for now xD)
🍒would you rather be gifted roses or baked goods on a special day?
Definitely baked goods!!!! I love flowers a lot but I've never been very good at taking care of them :'D I'd feel really bad if the rose someone gave me died :(( at least with baked goods it'll go to good use bcz I'll definitely eat it all! >:D
🍫would you prefer a stargazing date or a picnic date?
Hmmm... Well the best thing would be to mix the two of these together and have a picnic date under the stars! Buut if I have to pick one then definitely picnic date :3 I've always wanted to go on a picnic but I never got the chance so it'd be amazing to go on one someday! Stargazing sounds a lil boring SORRY I mean if one of us were into astronomy it'd be pretty fun but if neither of us were then uhm..it'd just be kinda staring at stars xD maybe if we brought a telescope it'd be cooler but uh still--it'd be cute if something happened where likee maybe someone was gazing at the other instead of the stars! (hopeless romantic in me hehe) But unfortunately that mostly happens in fanfic... 💔 at least with picnic it feels like there's more eating and conversing xD HOWEVER. I still think combining the two and going on a picnic under the stars is the best way to go <3

Alfred Burke puts on his best policing face as Parisian detective Inspector Maron, in Overseas Press Club - Exclusive!: The Billion Franc Mystery (1.6, ABPC, 1957)
#fave spotting#alfred burke#overseas press club exclusive!#the billion franc mystery#1957#classic tv#public eye#abpc#an obscure series‚ even by the standards of pre 1960s telly. OSPC was a coproduction between Ardleigh Films and Associated British Pathé#(they of the famous news reels‚ and themselves a subsidiary of Associated British Picture Corporation). a year or two later and this#would probably have been made in house by ABC themselves‚ but the franchise was only a year old at this point and still finding its feet#the concept is simple but promising: each week‚ a member of the Overseas Press Club of America (a real and still extant organisation) tells#a tale from their careers‚ an unusual instance or shocking event that makes for good tv. these tales are true! says the narrator in the#show's opening moments‚ and these ppl exist! frankly that's something i take with a large grain of salt; whilst some stories certainly have#direct factual origins (there's an episode about a catholic priest going undercover with a gang of street toughs which ends with footage of#the actual figure that inspired the ep) but others are highly questionable (the first‚ about a Norwegian resistance fighter who has plastic#surgery and takes the place of a relatively high ranking nazi officer; i feel like that's something that would be better known‚ yknow??)#this ep is about a nazi plot to destabilise the French franc just prior to ww2; quite believable and certainly the nazis did dabble in#producing counterfeit money‚ tho the examples i found online all relate to pound sterling or latterly the us dollar‚ not the franc)#our journalist of the week is played by Lee Patterson‚ a minor film star in british b movies at this point‚ with swooningly handsome Anton#Diffring (who had fled nazi persecution himself) as the villain. Alfie's part is pretty small‚ he's just the french cop keeping every one#in sight and letting events play out (cue some wonderful Alfie cheshire cat grins). Patterson (and maybe Diffring) got to fly out to actual#real Paris to film some location work and establishing shots (a benefit of making a series about the OSPC was that they arranged flights#for cast and crew). poor Alf didn't get a holiday tho; his scenes are conspicuously studio based‚ even when he's meant to be on the banks#of the Seine...#so yes‚ a fun little series‚ even if (so far) the wide scope of potential stories does seem to favour ww2 stuff. good luck finding a copy#tho; it took me months of trawling to find a reasonably priced 2nd hand copy (Amazon currently have a copy for £79.99 which.. for 2 discs#is kind of insane). a victim of the price gouging which seems to have affected some of the lesser known network titles since their#dissolution. sad times for the fan of painfully obscure old tv.. if I ever learn how to make things be on a computer‚ tho‚ I'll happily#share

Platonic sprace for the ask game!
(Card prompt ask game!)
Sorry for the delay! I drew the queen of diamonds and jack of clubs, which were royalty AU and horror respectively.

“I’m telling you, it’s not haunted,” Spot said. “Just because you’re a prince doesn’t mean you’re always right, you know.”
Race lifted the lantern a little higher. “Why else would an entire wing of the castle be abandoned?” he scoffed. “It’s definitely haunted.”
“Or they didn’t need all this extra space.” Spot took a few more steps forward. “Keeping all these rooms clean takes a lot of–what the hell is that?”
The way he stood blocked the light of the lantern, but the shadows were still moving.
“I was right.” Race sounded irritatingly smug. “It is haunted. Wanna keep exploring?”

Idk if this is just me, but most (art) tutorials make me want to gnaw on drywall. However, watching artists create in their natural environment is like drinking from a cool natural spring.

i set up a photo in an artwork using the spot pantones that i'm using in the rest of the artwork for flexo printing, just to avoid having to buy cmyk plates in addition to the spots, and the plate makers rang me like 'um....what?' cause apparently that's very much freak behaviour? idk it just made sense to me to make the image up out of the spots instead of cmyk? lmao but apparently they were really intrigued, but they've never seen that before so bohhh
i said lmao this is what you get when you get a self-taught weirdo setting up your graphics

I have to fight myself so hard to not be the world's biggest snob about oni lore, I think abt it and shake like a small dog as I remember that most ppl haven't read it all at least 5 times. Most ppl haven't even read it all once. Please please please please I know it looks like 90% is irrelevant to the main meat of the lore but actually a good 20% of that 90% is more important than that initial 10% and a good 40% of that remaining 70% is also vital to actually understand the lore and then that remaining 30% is also vital to the story and if you don't read it then I will crumble and die
#rat rambles#oni posting#but like for real oni is sooo sneaky with how it distribute its important lore tidbits its so easy to miss shit#its the glory of the silhouette storytelling oni has but it also means that its easy to not realize that the outline is there sometimes#the joy of it is finding the fragments and learning to spot the minor things that actually matter a lot only to be punched in the face by#one of the logs that you never knew existed before and have that shatter everything you thought you knew#I know I always bring up a seed is planted when I talk abt oni but straight up its probably one of the most important logs like. period.#like the way the biggest grain of hope this story has to offer is tucked away in one log that would otherwise be just sorta neat without#being necessarily groundbreaking is soooo fucking important to me like shit man#I love the duplicants theyre such a tragedy in their own right but one with a much more hopeful ending#well not ending per say but a more hopeful future#its a delightful counterpart to the main tragedy that is being told which ends almost completely miserably#the temporal tear is basically the only seed of hope olivia's story has to offer and I dont personally see it as a big one#and I Adore that abt the story especially in contrast with the dupes much more subtle underlining story#I was going to go on a whole ramble abt all the things I adore abt tragedy as a genre but its late and I need to sleep#rest assured tragedy is like my absolute favorite shit when done well#god knows it can be done poorly but when its done right it goes so fucking crazy
