i don't want spook the nervous filly that is Maybe This Show Wont Suck by saying anything but after being extremely unimpressed with season two (THE CREEPY OLD MAN CHAINED TO THE WALL WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO TELL YOU ANSWERS ABOUT WHO PUT HIM THERE BOYD WHY DID YOU SHUSH HIM??????? and then tell no one about it for half the season UGH lack of communication that is of obvious mutual benefit in order to keep characters pointlessly confused/at odds with each other is such a lazy writing pet peeve of mine) I think From is really getting back on track this season. An interesting horror-mystery premise with effective creepy-ass monsters that we're seeing a fascinating escalation of this season. Now just don't drop the ball!!! 🤞🤞

In school I did this thing where I put as much effort as I could into assignments when I had the energy, so that later in the term, if I really didn't want to do something, I didn't have to. Taking a 0 wouldn't hurt my grade enough to matter. Like, in my senior year economics class, I would do a retake on any test I didn't get an A on at the beginning of the semester, but I only did like half of the homework. I got a B in that class.

It's all about spoon theory to me, as a term went on, I knew that the amount of spoons I had decreased every day. If I can afford the spoons to go in for a retake at the moment, there is literally no reason not to in my mind. It means I'm preserving my future spoons. I can afford to use less spoons at the end of a term because I invested spoons at the beginning, which in turn means I just have more free spoons. Even if I only end up saving one spoon in the future when I spend 3 spoons to do better in a class, I still think it was totally worth it. If I wake up with 50 spoons, spending 3 spoons is a much smaller deal than spending 1 spoon when I woke up with 10.

I know it's hard for a lot of people, including myself sometimes, but you have to think about the future when you choose not to do something. It's annoying at the time, but I have been so eternally grateful to my past self for just doing the extra little things so that I don't have to do something else.

sum. he's easily the top most handsome guy within his job. his relationship status is unknown, so what happens when his co-workers ship him with a female worker?

nanami is well known within his company. tall, insanely fit, and an attractive voice. it's not uncommon for men and women alike to find themselves thinking about him often. what's not common is knowing about his love life. no one knows anything and he would've kept it that way. but when push comes to shove, and you're shipped with someone who's not your beloved, nanami will make it known that he's not only taken but married.

in the coffee-break room there are three guys. now, there's nothing unusual about this — no, no. they're just three guys that are co-workers... except there's a twist. they aren't your regular co-workers, they're your uncommon trio of male gossipers and nanami just so happened to be their newest victim.

"shh, shh! he's here," guy one, tichi, whispers to the others, raising his eyebrows and pointing his chin to nanami's position.

the other two take a quick glance, nodding their heads when they've seen nanami's back faced towards them. it's a perfect moment to strike up a conversation, especially since it's just four men here.

guy two, tacho, shuffles his feet to the empty space near nanami. he pretends to open a sugar packet, fiddling with it as his eyes peep over nanami's shoulder. his heart skips multiple beats when the man himself turns around.

"morning to you, tacho," nanami greets, nodding his head before he turns his attention back to his cup of coffee.

"y-yeah, morning!" he stutters, awkwardly smiling in return. he turns his head to the other two in the background, mouthing the word 'help' to them. unfortunately, they do not give the aid to their friend. instead, tichi fakes a series of coughs and guy three, toeny, gives him a confident double thumbs up. there's no hope, tacho sighs.

it's a silent moment between the men — only the sounds of coffee brewing and a spoon coming into contact with the mug can be heard. tacho's mouth itches him, he happened to remember his group's recent conversation about nanami. he must ask — even if it costs him a mutual co-worker.

"so, nanami," he begins, waiting for nanami to give him the undivided attention.

nanami doesn't face him, but he hums in response. tacho doesn't mind this as an answer, so he continues, "i was wondering if the rumors of you being with the new worker, yeri, are true?"

there is one big lie in that question: there are no such rumors. it's just a theory the trio has been gossiping about every night. nanami's been helping out yeri for quite some time, one can only think that they have a special connection going on.

"that is bullshit," nanami gives a firm answer. nothing more, nothing less.

tacho's stunned, he blinks a few times to recollect himself. "oh — so you're not with her?"

nanami doesn't answer yet, but the two in the back give their unwanted reactions. tichi clicks his tongue three times, shaking his head in disappointment at tacho's second question. it's obvious dumbass, he thinks. toeny, on the other hand, presses his lips in a thin line, pretending to read a magazine that's been on the counter.

nanami reaches into his pocket, whipping out his phone. the trio's confused until nanami speaks.

"i am married man. this is my wife," he educates, pressing the power button to show you as his lockscreen.

he collects three gasps, internally nodding at their shock. that's right, i'm gladly taken.

"all this time you've been... MARRIED?!" tacho's voice heightens, he drops his spoon in shock. it's unbelievable yet somewhat believable.

nanami breathes out a 'yes', raising his arm to show the wristwatch. "she bought this for our five-years anniversary recently. it's quite expensive, going over four-thousand," he brags, emphasizing on key words.

he's been waiting for the precious day where someone indirectly asks for his relationship status. the day has come and he will spend it bragging about his beloved.

nanami doesn't give them a chance to speak, he carries on with his bragging, "she's a very lovely woman. all my bentos are made by her and she writes little notes for each. some may think it's childish but that's bullshit! they just haven't experienced the love of a woman. matter of fact, her most beautiful moments are when she's freshly awake. the smile she gives me is nothing but angelic."

his speech doesn't stop there, but it did for the trio. his words went in one ear and out the next. nanami's blabbering about his wife immediately set a blank face upon tichi, tacho, and toeny. they're jealous and also surprised.

"the way a woman can change a man will never not be amazing," toeny whispers, blankly gazing at nanami's ongoing speech.

-“PACIFICA” tells us that the northwests still keep tapestries of bill, perhaps they could/would have something to do with his return??? pacifica and a “friend” destroyed everything with bill’s triangle symbol on it though, she’s a real one.

-“PLATINUMPAZ” is a code you’re given discreetly upon entering the aforementioned “PACIFICA.” This document is written like fan fiction, but obviously it’s canon, and details pacifica’s experience following northwest mansion mystery. It’s a longer document but essentially pacifica SIKES bill cipher like the girlboss she is when he tries to make a dream deal with her.

-“PINES” just says “a good family tree” lmao

-“SIXER” case file on Ford’s hand, written by (?) someone in the us government, apparently even as far back as when the Stans were 18, the government was working on cloning, so there’s that. Also, Ford is a finger donor!

-“BLINDEYE” gives one of those eye doctor letter tests, VERY blurry. if there’s a code here my blind ass hasn’t been able to decipher it. EDIT: it’s not blurry when you first try it!!! if you click on it it becomes blurry and i no longer know what the letters are.

-“MATPAT” and “GAMETHEORY” matthew patrick i am in your walls. it’s a video of beloved internet dad, Matpat from the Theory channels, saying we’re on our own for this one. Mathew if you don’t make a retirement special when this is all over, spoon-feeding me the answers i will do something illegal. Also, one of the notes on his board seems to read “abigail northwest,” but it’s not a code you can enter, so i’m not sure what it means.

-“GRAVITYFALLS” says ‘never heard of it’, alex hirsch when i catch you alex hirsch

-“MABEL” adds stickers and stars to the screen, eventually saying ‘lab now fully mabelized’ they stay there forever even if you relog the website.

-“DIPPER” tells pine tree to stare at the page for thirteen hours. spamming it changes the note, telling dipper he’s getting closer, but eventually the whole thing blacks out.

-“STANFORD” and “FORD” brings up the same page as “SIXER”, they are one and the same after all.

-“MCGUCKET” and “FIDDLEFORD” link to Cotton Eyed Joe by Rednex

-“STANLEY” and “STAN” links to ebay listings of brass knuckles

-“BILL” links to a sesame street video from 1969, jazzy triangle meets a square square. BillFord canon??? meanwhile, “CIPHER” and “BILLCIPHER”leads to the wikipedia page for the Eye of Providence, or the eye that watches the work of mankind.

-“GIDEON” leads to a google search of sweat-resistant bolo ties

-“LOVE” opens a book called ‘the love triangle”, tapping on it starts an audiobook of the first page of this book, detailing the narrator falling in love with bill cipher in a romantic period-piece. 10/10, but too short. give me the whole book.

-“GOD” links to a video of an Axolotl swimming in front of a submerged bill cipher statue. upon entering “GOD” again, the video does not play, some of the other videos behave in the same way such as “MATPAT.”

-“BLENDIN” responds with ‘time agent lost and presumed incompetent’

-“WEIRD” plays a video of Weird Al Yankovic yelling about how he’s trapped inside of the computer, and he calls for bill to help him. imagine my shock and horror coming across this the vanilla way, by just trying codes until something happens.

-“WEIRDMAGEDDON” is a newspaper clipping that shows nothing happened yesterday, soos got his head stuck in a honey pot and promptly said ‘and i’d do it again.”

-“TOBYDETERMINED” leads to a google search of ‘restraining order’

-“ROBBIE” pulls up AIM messages between him and thomson, detailing their experience ghost hunting for bill because robbie thinks bill will have to grant them three wishes. included is a great drawing in camcorder style of them running away from an eldritch-looking bill. included, but seemingly not sent, are messages in the text box, and it seems we’re reading from thompson’s perspective. it vaguely alludes that bill may be operating inside of thompson??? erm what the sigma?

-“SKIBIDI” “RIZZ” “FORTNITE” and “GYATT” revokes ur life privileges, but “SIGMA” does nothing.

-“QUESTION” responds with ‘answer’ and vice versa.

-“SCIENTOLOGY” responds with ‘suppressive person detected,” don’t ask why i tried scientology, i was going through science-themed inputs and it came to me like a vision.

-“ALEX” and “ALEXHIRSCH” link to a google search of ‘flannel.’ alex hirsch is lumberjack???

-“JOURNAL 3” responds with ‘the journal for me.’

-“JOURNAL 2” responds with ‘the journal for you’

-“JOURNAL 1” responds with “the journal of fun”

-“MASON” brings up a note about anagrams, assuredly written in-part by Dipper. idk if mason is even canon i always just assumed it was tbh.

-“DADDY” “BABY” and “MOMMY” (listen i was trying anything that came to mind) responds with a pop-up of a baby-bill cipher in an ultrasound, and a message that says ‘congrats! guess what’s growing inside you right now? see you in nine months, papa!’ NEW SEASON IN NINE MONTHS CONFIRMED???? Okay, okay, okay, I have so many thoughts about this. In two different contexts! (also I love the theory/idea/whatever we're calling it that Buck is struggling financially because it makes a weird amount of sense and I'm fascinated by it)

First of all, the obvious: friends to lovers roommates AU

Because yeah, it would start with Buck staying on the couch (because it's just temporary, until he can find a place he can actually afford, and then he'll be out of their hair and not a bother anymore), and yeah, his back hurts and it makes his bad leg act up more often, but it's nothing he can't deal with. It won't be for more than like a month, tops, right?

But then he has a bad pain day, and Eddie offers to let him use his bed for a night or two so he's not in constant pain for the rest of his life, and yeah, Buck takes the offer because he has a few apartments he likes and he's going to apply to, so it'll only be a few nights. He won't be there forever. He won't always be in the way.

And then a few nights in the bed becomes a week, and Eddie points out that there's more than enough room for the two of them (he knows this from when Christopher used to get nightmares and take up more than half the bed, Eddie can absolutely adapt to another body, even Buck's) and then they just...

idk, I love the cliche of them waking up spooning and not wanting to move because they're warm and comfortable and why would they want to change that???

Option 2: platonic Buddie my beloved

As an aroace person, who lives with my platonic partner, and our dog...

Buck and Eddie coparenting and moving around each other while living parallel lives and carpooling to work (Buck already helps Chris make cookies for his school events, that is canon), and existing together in this super strong relationship that's not inherently romantic or sexual.

It's just this unbreakable bond, and they share responsibilities, and they're each other's emergency contacts, and Buck is on the list of people allowed to pick up Christopher from school and, and, and!

Just... the more intense focus on their friendship and how important they are to each other outside the idea of a romantic ship? 10/10, it's my favorite thing in the whole world.

Summary: Just a theory about how Agatha actually killed Nicholas.

Agatha stops stirring the cauldron once she hears the hurried little steps of her boy coming down the basement of the cabin. She smiles softly, waiting to hear whatever Nicholas has to say – Rio had been teaching him how to take care of the plants in their garden, and the boy had been doing a wonderful job; Rio just could not stop praising him all the time. Her little brilliant boy.

“Mama! Mama!” Nicholas walks to Agatha, waving his chubby hands at her, smiling at her. Agatha drops down the spoon, placing it neatly beside the cauldron, and gets down on one knee, the boy running to hug her tightly. Agatha always had said to Rio that Nicky liked her more, and Rio always scoffed and rolled her eyes – ‘he probably does, beloved, since you are both too similar in every way’. The boy pulls back from the hug, looking at Agatha with his eyes sparkling. “Mommy showed me how to take care of the carnations this time! She said I’m doing well, but she had to go out for a while… Can I stay here?”

“Of course, my love,” Agatha says, smiling softly. She gets on her feet again, walking to the corner of the crowded basement and pulling out a chair for Nicky to sit. He sits down, swaying his feet back and forth, making gestures with his hands. Agatha laughs, going back to stir the potion in the cauldron. A healing potion, since Nicky had been getting sick lately. “What are you doing, Nicholas?”

“Oh! I saw mommy doing this when she was taking care of the flowers,” He answers giddily. Agatha looks at him and notices a small spark of dark blue magic on his fingers. She tilts her head, looking intently at NIcholas’ hands. The boy lets out a surprised yelp, and Agatha jumps from the noise. “Look, mama! I have magic just like you and mommy do!”

Agatha lets go of the cauldron. She walks to Nicholas, putting herself on her knees again and looking at him, proud but scared. The magic on his fingers had the same tone from his eyes – a dark tone of blue, but also soft; childish and free. She ruffles his hair, his giggles echoing in the basement. “You’re powerful just like me and your mommy, my love. But you need to take care.”

“Why?” Nicholas asks curiously. Agatha sighs softly, looking away for a moment, before she feels one of Nicky’s hands on her shoulder, pulling her back from whatever feelings she had at the moment. “Why, mama?”

“Well, my love…” Agatha whispers, her hand caressing Nicky’s plump cheek lovingly. “When you are a person like us, with magic, people want to harm you.”

“But why would they want to harm us? We haven’t done anything wrong…” Agatha feels her eyes welling up with tears, but she holds them back, not wanting to seem vulnerable in front of her son. Not wanting to seem vulnerable in front of anyone.

Agatha Harkness… You have practiced the darkest of magics.

You were born evil. I ought to have killed you the moment you left my body.

Agatha coughs softly. “We haven’t, darling, exactly, but people like us are outcasts. We’re… hated by others who do not understand us, who do not understand our history.” She explains, and Nicholas smiles, understanding. Agatha ruffles his hair again, and the boy giggles. “But… It can’t hurt to teach you how to use your own magic, my love.”

Nicholas’ eyes sparkle, and he smiles so big that Agatha has to laugh, his smile contagious and toothy just like his mommy. Rio says that he is most similar to Agatha, but Agatha can’t help but see some of the woman’s characteristics in him, too. His feet sway front to back, almost kicking Agatha as the boy couldn’t hold his enthusiasm. “Really, mama? Can you teach me?”

“Of course, my darling.”

Agatha shouldn’t have agreed.

She shouldn’t have agreed to teach him magic. Her boy’s screams still echo in her head– ‘mama, stop!’ – every time she has to look at his corpse, stashed away in her bewitched basement as she searches and searches and searches for a way to bring him back before Rio finds him. 

“O mors, reduces eos in planum, nam rogo te…” Agatha whispers the spell, hoping that Death would hear her, but at the same time, hoping she wouldn’t. Necromancy wasn’t her best skill. She had to get better – to get better takes time, but she does not have time. She needs her son back now. “Please…” Her sobs echo down the basement, tears dripping down on Nicholas’ face, gray and dry, just like Evanora.

Agatha pulls back, scrambling on her feet, her knees scraping against the floor. She sobs desperately, hands covering her face as she couldn’t look at Nicholas’ corpse anymore. She could only see every single life she took because of this damned ability – what Rio saw in her as something good, worthy, was actually the motive of her doom. 

Her old coven.

Evanora.

A thousand unknown witches.

And now, her baby.

Agatha’s sobs were unstoppable – but she tried to get back on her feet, to mumble the same spell over and over; necromancy wasn’t her best skill, after all.

She looks at the corner of the basement mid desperate whispering – a black, thick book floating away in a mysterious aura. The Darkhold.

Agatha swallows back her cries, finally finding what could be the solution of her demise, and runs to grab the book, leafing through its pages quickly. She had read the Darkhold before in Rio’s presence, but it had not taken the toll it was taking on her now; maybe because of Rio herself. But now… each word she read, the weaker she felt, like the book was siphoning her energy away.

“Obsecro, o Chthon, adiuva me in hac resurrectione, accipe me, sed reduc eum–” Just as Agatha whispers the spell, that sounded more like begging, she faints on the floor, a numbing feeling on her fingertips.

When she woke up, Nicholas was nowhere to be seen. Death had finally taken him from her grasp, from her protection, from her love. Death, after so many centuries of loving her, cherishing her… betrayed her. Left her. 

Left her to rot.

Spending the holidays with King

Hello everyone! Sorry for being inactive for a while since I was busy with my family during the holidays 😭😭😭

Marius informed you that his family is inviting you to attend their Christmas banquet that was going to be held on the weekend. You happily accepted the offer since it wasn’t your first time meeting them. The Von Hagens welcomed you with open arms, they were happy to meet Marius’s beloved girlfriend, they were concerned for Marius due to the trauma he experienced when he was a young boy. 

The days have gone by so quickly, today was the day to see them again, you were nervous to be honest since it has been a while. Marius drove to your apartment to pick you up and called you through your phone to tell you that he was already here. You hurried to the door and went down to the elevator. Once you got out, Marius rolled down the window and gave you his signature smirk, you playfully rolled your eyes and giggled at the sight of it. Marius opened the car door and you went in. “Thanks Marius” You joyfully said with your lips spreading across widely,  Marius then steered to the estate. 

The car ride was long since it was about an hour and half distance from the area you live in. You and Marius exchanged talks between each other, ranging from paintings to theories to song recommendations and more. Time has passed by and you were already in the estate. Marius parked the car in their underground garage while you admired the interior that was decked out on Christmas decorations. Marius unlatched the car door and held out his hand, you accepted it and he gently pulled you. “You look beautiful as ever, Missy” He complimented you, the two of you walked to the door that was connected to the main room. The doors were huge, they were just like the ones you see in movies. The door suddenly swung open and Payton warmly welcomed you and Marius, he then led the two of you to the banquet. 

The entire Von Hagens was waiting for the two of you’s arrival. “Oh my gosh! Marius you simply have gotten more handsome since the last time I saw you” Marius’ aunt exclaimed loudly and the other aunts started to swoon over him and give a compliment or two. Austin walked towards your direction while holding a glass of champagne in his right hand. “You look stunning as always, Ms. Y/N” he praised and you sheepishly thanked him. Marius’s aunts then came to your direction and flooded you with praises, you were starting to get overwhelmed by the compliments. Marius cleared his throat and pulled you to his side. “We are thankful for your compliments but it seems like we are both starving so please excuse the two of us” Marius stated. The two of you walked away and headed to the buffet area. 

You were in awe at how many cuisines they had lined up. There were Chinese, Western, French, Italian and many more. You couldn’t decide which dish to pick from. “Which one do you want?” Marius questioned and handed you a white porcelain plate that had the Aquarian Serpent at the side of the plate. “I think I’ll have one of each please” You responded and took the serving spoon then placed fare from different countries. 

Once you were done with grabbing your food, Marius too was done with his plate. “Let’s sit there” Marius pointed at a table that was on the last. The two of you headed to the table and began chowing down the delicious dishes. The waiters stopped at your table with a tray full of drinks ranging from non-alcoholic to alcoholic drinks. You chose apple juice while Marius chose champange. 

The two of you had just finished eating the food, it was simply exquisite. “Your family’s chef deserved a raise” You praised. Marius hummed in agreement. “Wanna have some dessert with me” Marius offered and you nodded then got up from the table and walked back to the buffet area. 

The moment you and Marius arrived at the dessert section, you were over the moon by the amount of high-class desserts displayed in magnificent three tier trays. It had red velvet brownies, coffee-flavoured macaroons, custard, strawberry mousse, lava chocolate cake, and many more. Each of the desserts were bite-size, perfect for the party. You took some lava chocolate cake and macaroons, since you were nearly full but there’s always room for desserts. 

Marius got the strawberry mousse and red velvet brownies. The two of you went back to the table and munched on the tasty desserts. When you took a bite from the lava chocolate cake, it exploded on the insides of your mouth. The melted chocolate was covering your tongue while you hummed in joy at how amazing the lava cake was. You did a little dance at how mouth-watering the lava cake is. You continued to devour the lava cake and didn’t stop. 

After your moment with the lava cake, it was the macaroon’s turn. You picked up the macaroon and inspected at how gorgeous it was, you took a bite from the macaroon and it was packed with espresso and a hint of vanilla in it. It felt like your energy came back alive, you continued to bite the remaining piece on your fingers. Your mind was in haze at how favourable the food that the Von Hagen’s served. 

Marius chuckled at your expression, he was spying on your reactions to see if it was up to the standards. ‘Anything what my girl, she gets’ Marius thought to himself and had a small smile plastered on his lips. Marius went back and finished the desserts he picked. 

Ailine approached the table that you and Marius were sitting at. “How does the food taste?” She said out of nowhere causing you to be shocked at the voice behind you. “It’s good, Ms. Weiss” You responded to her, along with a gentle smile on your lips. “Haven’t seen you in a while” Marius expressed with his eyes wide open. Ailine laughed quietly and playfully slapped his shoulders. Ailine turned to your direction and handed your a small wrapped present. She lowered herself and whispered “Open that later”. After that, she returned to her table. 

Marius looked at the small present that was in your hands. “What did she say?” Marius questioned. “She said to open it later” You replied back. A waiter came to the table and asked if the two of you were done eating, you nodded and handed the waiter the plates. The waiter took the place and effortlessly stacked all of it and carried the plates and cups in one go.

Shortly, another waiter came to the table and offered some refreshments. You and Marius chose the wine, the waiter placed down the drink of your choice. Austin walked up towards a small stage and held a mic. 

“I would like to thank the guests who took their time and attended the banquet for this night” Austin conveyed his gratitude. The Head of the Von Hagen proceeded to entertain the guest with his lengthy speech. You slowly become disinterested at the speech and take a peak at Marius. His eyes were bored and he yawned. It was obvious that the two of you wanted to do something else. 

“Cheers to all!” Austin said loudly while slightly raising his wine glass. You and Marius also held the wine glass and toasted alongside everyone. The two of you both took a sip from the glass. It was sweeter than the ones you tried before. You quickly swallow the remaining liquid in there. Marius studied your expression with each sip you took from, he took pride in choosing the finest and high quality wine. The night was still young and Marius grasped your wrist, dragging you away from the crowded event. He led you to the balcony that overviews the Zen garden. 

Marius cupped your cheeks and redirected it to his face, pulling you into a soft kiss. You wrapped your arms around his neck while Marius’s big hands crawled its way to waist, deepening the kiss. The night is young, of course.

can’t stop thinking about gojo and his infinity and how he lets it down when he feels safe and comfortable but sometimes he can’t even do it then but sometimes he lets it down because he desperately craves human contact like,,, he let yaga put him in a headlock when he could have easily gotten out of it / not let him touch him. he let itadori and kugisaki hug him. not only that, but his infinity represents his love and trust and care. he trusts yaga wouldn’t hurt him and he cares about the kids and the fact that they are kids and it’s not like gojo probably got hugged much as a child,,, and how he probably let it down whenever he was with little megumi,,, and he never had infinity up around geto because it was geto and he trusted him and he loved him and he cared for him. and thinking about how it was probably up for awhile after toji brutally murdered him, but how he still let it down around geto, and eventually, shoko and yaga,,, and how it’s his own form of a love language, it’s the only way he knows to express vulnerability without it being perceived as weakness. if he’s not doing well, infinity goes up for awhile. and only those who know gojo satoru are able to catch it…

Why Aquamarine was chosen as the March birthstone?

The origin of birthstone dated back a long time. Theories suggested that 12 stones originally symbolized the 12 tribes of Israelites, but those 12 stones are not the same as what we recognize today. Modern birthstones were revised by the National Association of Jewelers in 1912. The revision aims to adept modern aesthetic while maintaining original meaning. Traditionally Bloodstone was chosen to represent March, until the opaque color of Bloodstone falls out of favor to the modern taste for bright and glittery. The NAJ crowned Aquamarine as the replacement attempt to attract customers. The reason behind why Aquamarine was specifically selected to represent March is unclear. Most convincing theory suggest that the gemstone is the symbol for Pisces (Feb 19- Mar 20). Since the ancient believed aquamarine is the mineralized form of water, Pisces being a fish zodiac naturally have strong ties to the ocean. Aquamarine is a great stone for Aries (Mar 21- Apr 19) too, because the smoothing nature of the stone balance out the fiery energy of Mars, Aries’s ruling planet, thus achieving a state of perfect balance.

Rather or not the decision is based on astrology, the refreshing blue color of aquamarine matches spring vibe perfectly. To me Aquamarine reminds me of the refreshing water of early spring. A light blue with a slight hint of turquoise, this is the still chilly spring water from melted ice.

Young Sheldon is coming to an end after seven seasons, and with shooting on the series finale wrapping up this week, the cast is already feeling nostalgic.

In exclusive interviews with PEOPLE at PaleyFest 2024 on April 14, the cast reflected on the years they spent together filming the beloved CBS comedy.  

“It's been very bittersweet. It's not an easy thing to know that something that's been so wonderful for us is coming to an end,” Zoe Perry admitted. “But I think I can speak for everyone that we're all just really grateful that we've gotten to tell this story, tell it for as long as we have, get to experience the audience reactions and how wonderful they've been. I think we're just so appreciative. Truly.”

Montana Jordan described the cast as a true-blue “family,” even when the cameras weren’t rolling as they did activities together outside of work. Raegan Revord, in particular, bugged him “all the time” via text “to do stuff.  

“But no, I enjoy it, man. I really enjoy it. I got two older sisters in real life, and on the show I got a little brother and a little sister, so I got the best of both worlds,” Jordan, 21, explained, adding, “We've been a family ever since the first day we met — and we're still a family. Just because the show's ending don't mean we're not going to continue being a family. That's what kind of bond we got.”

While the cast was understandably tight-lipped about what viewers can expect when Young Sheldon’s series finale airs May 16, star Iain Armitage teased that fans of Young Sheldon — and The Big Bang Theory — will be pleased with how the show ties things up.

“It very much comes full circle, and I think we are trying to do our best to satisfy both fans of our show and Big Bang, and it's been so much fun to film,” Armitage, 15, said.

Perry, 40, hinted there would be “fun little” nods to previous episodes or Easter eggs loyal viewers will notice throughout the episode.

“I think what you could always expect from the show is obviously the levity, the humor, but also a lot of heart,” she hinted. “So I think people will be really moved by the ending of this. It's a big chapter closed.”

Once shooting wraps, Young Sheldon’s cast and crew will celebrate the work with a wrap party, according to Emily Osment. Several of the actors also plan on taking home small mementos from the set as reminders of their time on the show.

Revord, 16, plans on taking a tapestry behind her character Missy Cooper’s bed. She’d also love to take home some of the miniature spoons, which she collects.

“We went to London and I found one at a flea mark and I was like, ‘The obsession has started, and Zoe … has a holder of miniature spoons," she continued. "That's also mine. I'm running with it. I love them.”

Lance Barber, meanwhile, has his eye on an acrylic photo cube in George (Barber) and Mary’s (Perry) bedroom. “Back in when I was a kid, these were popular,” he said, adding, ”I'd love to take that home with me as a memorabilia for my time with Young Sheldon.

Annie Potts’ souvenirs, meanwhile, aren't material objects, but they're no less poignant.

"It's just incredible that I was walking around the set the other day thinking, oh, that, and then I thought, no, it's the memories. It's not an object,” Potts, 71, admitted. “It's the feelings that are treasures."

um sorry if this is a weird question but how do you deal with back pain? my back aches basically 24/7 but sometimes the pain gets so bad that i cant move a lot. and my parents dont believe me cuz im 'too young' to have it and they think im just making it up lol

i am not a doctor and this is not medical advice.

i don't know WHY or WHERE your back hurts, so even with my limited abilities, i can't say very much.

i have upper back pain. it's worst on my left shoulder. like. under the shoulder blade sometimes. if that makes sense. but it will spread across my whole upper back, and even to my lower back if i REALLY fuck up. for example today i am sitting in a gordian knot and i can feel that i am going to regret that choice because i can already feel it hurting way closer to my spine than on a good day.

also sometimes it spreads up to my neck.

the trapezius muscle is PART of it but i'm not sure if it's the root cause or if it's compensating.

so ymmv significantly with all of this, but:

biggest thing i do is lie on the floor for a bit. hips and back against the ground, but i usually don't have my legs flat on the ground. i've found it's more effective that way. probably something to do with the angle of your pelvis. i'm not a doctor or a physical therapist, i don't know. i just know that this works.

it sometimes hurts more at first, but i can like. feel my shoulders get drawn back? it's gravity working to pull you into "good" posture, which helps me a lot. if i can sit up straight, i deal a lot better with the pain.

i've fucked around with sleeping positions, but i think sleeping on my back would be the only thing that would help, and i can't typically fall asleep like that. because i tend to curl my shoulders in when i sleep, which makes it worse.

(temporarily relieves pain, makes things worse in the long run.)

so i've given up on that.

i also do some basic stretches: usually focused on getting my shoulders to not be so forward. running through uhhh how do i explain.

so i did years of ballet which is probably part of why my body is so fucked up, and when you're doing like. a plié or tendu exercise. you move your arms in a certain pattern. the thing that it's doing that's making me feel better is rolling my shoulders, but shhh.

sometimes i also do this thing where i just. pretend i'm trying to get my shoulder blades to touch. and uhh if you can clasp your hands behind your back. like one arm is reaching down past your neck, and the other is reaching up past your lower back. it's got a name.

my ex used to give me massages, which did help, but it was a pretty temporary fix. same w heating pads. they help release tension, which helps, but i'm pretty sure there's an underlying problem.

i also try not to carry heavy things on just one side. just carrying things doesn't make it worse, unless i have bad posture, but if i try to like. lug a generator up two flights of stairs with mostly one arm because it's awkward to carry any other way. i will regret it and have to stop before i actually get where it's going.

just ~your club's strong man has chronic pain~ problems

this is not intended to be advice. once again, i am not a doctor or any medical professional. all i know is what i do, and it's helped. yes i absolutely should talk to my doctor about this but every time i go i have more pressing concerns

so. best of luck my heart goes out to you. having chronic pain sucks. the people around you rarely understand. and. being in pain SUCKS. it sucks SO much. if you CAN find people who are supportive and understand, it's really helpful.

my ex was shitty in a lot of ways, but he also drove me home from school every day once he had a car, which was extremely meaningful.

and you're taking a GREAT first step by looking for ways to make it better. i cannot express how much i want to go back to me at 14 or 15 and just give that kid a good long shake like. what are you doing child. i understand you don't want to slow down for anything. but you are not helping matters.

can't blame a young teen for doing young teen things, including "pulling a cat and masking your pain and not modifying your activities to account for it," but still.

It’s a little strange waking up without your heavy head laying on my chest, my t-shirt damp with your drool. I used to always joke that one day a spider would crawl into your mouth and lay eggs in there. Far-fetched, I know, but I loved seeing the look of panic on your face whenever I’d entertain the idea.

How are you holding up? I know it’s a shallow question, and I can already guess your answer, considering that prison isn’t meant to be like a summer camp. I miss you more and more every single fucking day. Some nights I lie awake restless, cursing God for giving me everything that I’ve ever wanted and then taking you away from me. ✗ The emotionally constipated blueberry <3 oh yeahh 😎

✗ Okay well first off he can barely process his emotions (*cough* evidently *cough*)

✗ When you two first started going out he was quite shy and unsure of what to do so you may have had to guide him a bit, but if youre equally shy then it just would have taken longer to get to where you are now; oh and if that was the case it probably took some random burst of energy/confidence from either one of you to make the first move. 

✗ He will buy you milk but uf you hate it (like me 🤢) he will buy you another drink - like juice :D

✗ I dont think he will be the most affectionate, it’s not his love language - and neither are words haHAH. His love language is most likely quality time and gift giving.

✗ He does like to cuddle though 😳

✗ In fact he really likes to :D his favourite is when youre sitting in his lap while he watches a volleyball game (at home - he hates pda). 

✗ This brings us to our next, short point. Kageyama absolutely despises pda, he just thinks its something meant for closed doors and he does not believe that he has to display his relationship for the whole world to ogle at. The most he will do is light hand holding - mostly just linking your pinkies though.

✗ When it comes to height he does not care if you're smaller or taller than him ← but bb, please don't tease him about his height if he’s shorter because he will blow a fuse.

✗ He alternates between small spoon and big spoon, kinda depending on his mood. 

✗ BOY O BOY does he get jealous. Uh please reign in your setter >:( 

✗ Its mostly due to the fact that he’s insecure about himself - he thinks you will leave him like everyone else (in middle school - yes, he is still traumatised from it.)

✗ When he does get jealous he might be snappy to the other person and glare at them or be snappy at you and glare at you. When this happens please give him space because he needs it to clear his head. When he feels better he will come up to you and hug you into his chest so that he can’t see your face and you cant see his, then he will mumble an apology.

✗ Ever since you two began to date he has practiced apologising and getting better at apologising, this is because his inability to admit to his own mistakes was a sour patch in your relationship that almost ended it but he really did not want to lose you so he sucked up his pride and worked on what he had to; of course you also worked in what you had to. God I love character development 😩

✗ Dates are mostly at home dates or dates revolving around volleyball. If you're not into volleyball, Kageyama would not date you, it's something he is so passionate about and loves with every breath he takes (like you) and he refuses to compromise one love for the other. 

✗ ooooh he likes arcade dates a well! He thrives in a competitive environment. If you're not competitive and don't want to compete against him then he’ll compete for you - against the machines lol. Of course you play as well! But i doubt youre as competitive as this blueberry, and if you are - well i guess at the end of the day youll both be stacked in tokens 🤠

✗ He is down for pda and does not care what others think - only what you think <3. 

✗ I mean he might make out with you in public if you ask nicely 

✗ Dates are very fun with him, he’ll take you to cafes, to amusement parks, to carnivals, to movies and all the like. He’s a cliche lover and he’s proud of it.

✗ Your first kiss happened on New Years Eve/Day. The two of you sat on the roof of his house and watched as the fireworks lit up the starry sky of Miyagi and chanted the count down together. The second ‘one’ left your lips he grabbed your face (softly!!) and pulled you in to crash his lips against yours. 

✗ Suga loves to cuddle, preferably face to face because he just thinks you're the most beautiful person in the world. 

✗ He is not the most jealous person, he definitely does get jealous but never of strangers. It's more when his close friends or your close friends get a bit too comfortable if that makes sense? He normally plays it off with humour and messes around because he acknowledges that he is insecure and that it is most likely him thinking of the worst case scenario; however if he really does start to worry and get jealous then he will sit you down and talk about it with you. To him, communication is key. 

✗ Ngl Kenma is definitely in my top 3 favourites.

✗ i love my non-toxic gamer boy <33 anywho: no matter what ANYONE says, kenma is definitely affectionate. In fact I'd say he’s one of the most affectionate boyfriends. As we all know, he is shy and introverted but he likes to hang around and spend time with people he likes. He also talks a lot to them. So I hc that he’s a bit of a chatterbox with you and it makes him really happy when you let him talk about a game or a theory he has. He’s a great listener so you can count on him to pay attention to what you say.

✗ if you didn't already have one, he bought you a switch. He loves video game dates especially when he can't see you in person (*cough* lockdown *cough*) 

✗ he loves when you sit on his lap when he plays video games. I know everyone talks about sitting on their partner’s lap as some sexual thing and yeah that can happen but most of the time he’s really soft with you and just enjoys being close to you. Loves when you cuddle into him while he plays so that he can place his head on yours or your shoulder. 

✗ i think he is a bit shy when it comes to kisses but definitely warms up after a while. He absolutely refuses to sleep if he doesnt get your goodnight kisses. He loves to kiss you on your nose and your cheeks the most. He loves when you kiss him on the forehead and the nose <3

✗ kenma is not one for pda, it's just not his vibe. He prefers intimacy and privacy; his relationship is not a movie for the world to watch and gawk at. Especially timeskip!kenma. Though that does not mean he wont ever show you skinship in public, occasionally he will softly hold your hand and maybe press a light kiss to your cheek. 

✗ in terms of jealousy, he is moderate. Kenma, as we all know, has incredible people reading skills, so he understands the situation pretty clearly and knows when you’re uncomfortable/what you think of the situation. Most of the time you can deal with the unwanted attention and he doesnt get jealous, but he does get insecure. He shows this by going quiet and looking away when you look at him, you can cure this by giving him hugs when you get home. 

✗ Akaashi my beloved <3 he’s so pretty i can't even-

✗ ugh! Just imagine him in a dark/light academia aesthetic. 

✗ perfection. 

✗ akaashi is the sweetest most attentive boyfriend, he loves you to pieces and never fails to let you know. He tells you he loves you every morning and every night. He probably makes meals for you and leaves notes in that have a sweet comment like “i love you, you're the best <3” 

✗ he love back hugging you BUT also receiving back hugs 🥺✨

✗ akaashi is a booknerd and an introvert. Please cuddle up to him and let him read his book to you. 

✗ there are only 2 things that can restore his social battery: sleeping and you.

✗ which means he wants cuddles when he’s tired 😊

✗ he is not jealous. He just doesn't get jealous, maybe annoyed if the third party is being a bit too pushy and you're clearly uncomfortable, but he just never feels jealous. No matter how hard you may try to make him jealous (plz dont cause that's kinda toxic imo) he just won't feel that way.

✗ definitely the ‘mom/dad’ as he carries sinister, pads, bandaids → a whole first aid kit basically, everywhere. Bb must be prepared. 

✗ dates are so sweet with him, cute niche cafes and dimly lit libraries. Maybe the occasional abandoned building. He loves spending time with you, so really he's happiest whenever he’s with you; having coffee at McDonalds or a niche cafe won't change anything. 

✗ he’s hard to pinpoint for pda. I feel like he’s indifferent about it. He probably prefers to keep it indoors or to just small and sweet gestures (no making out in public sorry-). It definitely comes down to your preferences, if you don't like it then he won't and vice versa.

I think he might get snappy when he’s jealous, not directly at you but at the other person. He definitely gets a bit bitchy. Sometimes he acts that way to you so you've just gotta slap some sense into him. Say something like “what's your problem?” or “tell me what your problem is so i can help fix it.” ← that's probably the best thing to say.

✗ he asks for your opinion about his songs all the time, please be honest (but also praise them if you like them lol)

✗ when it comes to pda he loves it. Loves being able to show the world who his s/o is. If you don't like it then he will tone it down and only do what you’re comfortable with. If you're also into pda then he will happily make out with you anywhere (you're one of THOSE couples 🤢 /j)

✗ oikawa 😳 have i told y'all how much i love him? Oikawa is the best written character, no cap, he is so complex and real it's crazy. It's so fun to write about him because you can pick him apart, you know his flaws, his weaknesses, his nightmares but also his strengths and dreams. Anywho i'll stop ranting now but i just love writing for such a perfectly imperfect character-

✗ he puts up a cocky exterior but thats all false. He's as scared as you are, he's scared that you'll leave him like his exes because of how obsessed and focused he is on volleyball. However he is a changed man, he's learned to balance his priorities. If you ever feel like you're being sidelined please communicate with him. 

✗ he values communication above all else and wants nothing more in a partner than for them to also value communication.

✗ back to the point → if you feel insecure of your relationship and that volleyball is taking too much of his attention let him know. He will change that. To an extent → he may have an important game coming up which is why he is focusing more, but he will always find time for you. 

✗ he never forgets to text you good morning and good night. He also sends you wholesome memes and makes sure you're taking care of yourself - they're like reminders for him to also take care of himself. 

✗ he is both jealous and insecure. Everyone who gets too close to you or spends a lot of time with you, he is jealous of. Jealous because he wishes he could spend more time with you but he knows he can't - not without jeopardising his volleyball career. He's also insecure, because he knows you could just leave him for a more fulfilling, more attentive, more balanced relationship. You know that too, I mean, of course you could leave him but no one would be as good as him. No one could match up to your beautifully flawed boyfriend.

✗ he is affectionate, very, very affectionate. He loves you so much. And because he spends so much time on volleyball, anytime with you he's touching you - memorizing every dint, every curve, everything about you so that he won't ever forget. 

✗ Oikawa has trouble sleeping unless he's with you, he wants to sling to you in his sleep and be grounded and remember that he is loved and cherished and appreciated y'know?

✗ pda is not an issue for him. He doesn't care what anyone else says or thinks :P in this relationship the only opinions that matter are his and your’s. Tell him you're uncomfortable with something and he won't do it, and vice versa. But otherwise, like Semi, he won't mind having a good makeout session with you in the middle of the street ;)
