“Not when the puzzle is how to keep you.”

Leonard blinked at him a moment. “Keep me?”

“Would you not wish to stay?”

“I—” but if Leonard knew what he was going to say, he immediately forgot it. He held his breath; The gardens became a blur; The word echoed in his ears: Stay.

This is my contribution for the @sponesrbb 2020 challenge (please watch in larger size or on Pc for the details and less darkness), which is also the first time for me participating in such a project. This A2 size drawing, which I started in October with a shabby sketch at work, took me forever. It is far from perfect or physically correct, but I hope you can see the effort I put in, my love for my two bois and their love for each other. I wanted them to have a perfect date amidst a beautiful alien planet, no matter the circumstances.

Talented @lovethistoomuch wrote the really amazing and captivating fanficion A Perfect Date? fitting to this pic. Please check it out, read it and give her a feedback, you won’t regret it. I still feel really lucky I got her as my assigned partner. <3 Thank you for your great story and co-work on this project, I enyojed it a lot.

As soon as I saw the first draft of this picture, my mind went wild with ideas and I am totally in awe by how beautiful the final work has become! I am truly fortunate to have been paired with such a wonderful, talented artist and working on this together was really amazing!

Since it was my very first time participating in such a project as well, I am truly happy that my first experience was such a wonderful one <3

Feb. Announcement

All right. Here we go again: another announcement post. Last time it was what… August? And I promised I was going to start a webcomic in September which never seen the light of day. Except it did, I just never posted it. Episode 1 of the Joy of Treks was created on September 8th, 2017. Why didn’t I post it? Because like an idiot I scanned it in at 600 dpi. It was meant for Tumblr. Yeah it was ugly. REAL UGLY. So, I fiddled around with Smack Jeeves a little bit and I really liked it. This took until October.  Then, let’s say, the Fire Nation attacked: my health problems arose ( I’ll go into this later) and suddenly it was January. So I sat down and really thought about what I wanted to do and decided to make a schedule for the year and what projects I want to  do:

March 15th- I am submitting art to the Star Trek Reverse Big Bang and am currently working on it. It’s so much fun.

April 3rd - I am going to start the 100 Days of Comics Challenge. Which is: work 30 minutes a day on a comic and then post a video. You do this for a hundred days and promptly die afterward. This will be a prologue to The Joys of Treks and about six pages in total. The videos will be on YouTube, but will shared here. I would just use Tumblr but their video system is garbage.

July 12th - I will be starting to actually work on the Joy of Treks, or Joyt for short. It will definitely have its own website on Smack Jeeves, but I will post updates on Tumblr. I’ll need to do a lot assets for this so I will posting those also. The Joy of Treks is going to be a parody comic about Star Trek. I know there’s thousands but I want to add my own personal touch to it.

September 8th- I post the first strip of Joyt. Huzzah.

December- There’s another challenge I want to do of my own design this time focusing on filling a sketchbook.

During this I will be posting sketches and single illustrations as I need to work on my style for Joyt as well as posting a monthly Spones fic or drabble.  Eventually I want to start my own webcomic about magical girls. There’s a lesbian cowgirl starship captain involved who is my favorite thing ever. I know this is a big update but I wanted to get things done. I am going to post smaller updates in the future.

As for now, here’s to 2018 and getting productive!
