Y'all is there gonna be a spn reboot??? I keep getting notifications talking as if there is and I'm so confused and quite frankly, worried. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S A CHANCE FOR A REBOOT? THEY'RE DEAD. PLEASE. they're happy and in heaven please don't do anything else to my boys they're happy for the love of the gods. I'll take a reboot of the anime with Jensen actually voicing his character for more than two episodes but the SHOW??? y'all cmon.

I saw this on Reddit the other day. Oh my gods, this would be a hilarious reboot! I thought these Sam and Dean AU were a riot, and I can almost guarantee Jared and Jensen had a ball playing such different versions of their characters.

Like a mini-series. That would be fun.

Amazon needs to get their ass in gear and pick up Supernatural for season 16. they literally have Kripke, Jensen, Alex, Jared, Rob Benedict, and Jim Beaver probably Misha too if we're being honest already on their payroll so it really wouldn't be that big of a leap for them to take on the SPN revival.

Misha already said that they all want to do a reboot, so clearly that's not an issue. it's almost certain that they will make time to film it. and if it's a matter of buying the rights from the CW (if they even still own them), you cannot tell me that Amazon doesn't have the money for it. honestly they could probably buy WB as a whole if they really wanted to.

@primevideo what do you need from us? more reassurance that a Supernatural revival is highly anticipated and will be very successful and make lots of money for you?? bc lemme tell ya, it'll do numbers big time. i mean look at how popular the SPN conventions still are to this day, even 4 years after the show ended, and tickets for 2025 conventions are already selling!

Yes spn is a terrible show that went on for far too long but it’s also the best thing that happened in the history of television and it should get 15 more seasons. What’s so hard to understand about that?

How possible do you think a Supernatural reboot is looking? Just wondering if something might be secretly in the talks, considering how the official Supernatural YouTube and social media stuff has sort of "reawakened" recently.

I often wonder if execs involved in Spn are grinding their teeth these days, seeing how successful shows with queer leads (like 9-1-1 for example) have become recently and even on network TV. They could have had had it all with Dean and Cas; like it could have been grand, and yet they all chickened out. If it wasn't for Misha we might have not even gotten the love confession.

My list of non negotiables for the reboot:

Dirt! Actor men who need therapy. Gore. Season one contrast or saturation or whatever. Intentional framing and shot composition a la kripke era. (lmao shit was aweful most of the time after that). Swear or curse words. American Gothic vibes, like, why did the shows aesthetic become so CWafied? make me sick. Unknown talent because istg if Cole sprouts or some Netflix actor who's not mentally ill enough to make this role his whole damn life get these roles, it's gonna be a tragic loss. No cheesy writers! Literally ashamed to say but queerbait me. Like give me years of subtext, edge me with the meta God defiant romance of it all, then hit me with it. Stg If they fan service us queers with a slap in the face... it's about the nuances, baby!
