i got bored, and, wanted to try and create the boys in Spirit City 👀 (i didn't change any of my decor defaults, cause i currently like the setup, so don't mind that ehehehe >w<)

i tried to pair them with spirits that i think would match their aesthetic c:

Gordon and Alan prolly look the least like themselves but! i did what i could, with the customisation i had, and i’m rly happy with it ^^ and i hope you guys like it too!! ☺️

this was a fun little thing to do!! (and i levelled up my spiritographer rank while doing this too, so, added bonus xD)

This game is cute and it makes me happy. I wish my friends on tumblr knew about it too. I made a trans beastie girl and put her in situations but the situations are chill, soothing, and productive. I mainly use her as my knitting buddy. But I know folks who could use a writing or a drawing buddy too.

the numbers in the to do list is for the chapter i need to complete studying (lowkey seeing light at the end of the tunnel for social studies haha) also dats my avatar and obv a black cat for my pet/spirit

mui full room, yeah ik its still empty but i dont have enough money earned rn to fill it up (they give me money everytime i level and i get to level up by finishing tasks from my to-do-list asdfghjkl i love) sza playlist on loop (the music player display is lagging) and i love myself some stormy weather bgm in the afternoon lighting

Idk if this would be as useful for anyone else as it is me but I wanted to mention it here, there's a game/productivity tool coming out in a couple months on steam but it has a demo until then and it's super chill and cool. I only found it cause it was part of NextFest but I'm a little obsessed It has built in lo-fi music if that's your thing (and a built-in youtube browser if you want to search out different music), it has four different activities your character can be doing, different times of day and background noises for atmosphere (and visualizations for some), cute character creator, built-in to-do lists and timer functions Also you can pick your little study companion. I love fire hedgehog

It's a demo rn so it's missing some stuff that's obviously intended for the final version but the demo is completely usable (it's clearly meant for study-type things but you can see I'm using it with pop-out video to watch things without getting distracted so much bc it just helps to have a slight barrier to wandering off as a reminder not to)

(Week of Spirit City: Lofi Sessions - 4)

you HEARD ME I did a game jam, i had a menty b last week, fell down a hole, and dug my way out in the form of a little 3 minute game that i did the art of!

I had to do so much animating within the span of a week, and really I spent about 3 days total.

When I animated the main character's walk, I realized that at 8 fps it matched my fav song from Juno.

Every game is a fashion game, so say hello to the Petals For Armor skin.

I was obvs inspired by Hayley Williams for this idea, and I almost didn't finish the animation in time. In-game it's a little janky, because I'm not good at making sprite sheets yet. But I can confidently say that my janky petal animation is the worst part of the game. I'm really proud of everything we made in a week!

Finally played enough to have my dream room in Spirit City. If this was a real room I'd probably keep the walls a single color or just one accent wall with the small skulls wallpaper. Or I will get sensory overload.

But this is a digital world. :) So I cluttered everything.
