This game is cute and it makes me happy. I wish my friends on tumblr knew about it too. I made a trans beastie girl and put her in situations but the situations are chill, soothing, and productive. I mainly use her as my knitting buddy. But I know folks who could use a writing or a drawing buddy too.

Idk if this would be as useful for anyone else as it is me but I wanted to mention it here, there's a game/productivity tool coming out in a couple months on steam but it has a demo until then and it's super chill and cool. I only found it cause it was part of NextFest but I'm a little obsessed It has built in lo-fi music if that's your thing (and a built-in youtube browser if you want to search out different music), it has four different activities your character can be doing, different times of day and background noises for atmosphere (and visualizations for some), cute character creator, built-in to-do lists and timer functions Also you can pick your little study companion. I love fire hedgehog

It's a demo rn so it's missing some stuff that's obviously intended for the final version but the demo is completely usable (it's clearly meant for study-type things but you can see I'm using it with pop-out video to watch things without getting distracted so much bc it just helps to have a slight barrier to wandering off as a reminder not to)

💖 Made the best purchase from the steam sale. Using spirit city lofi sessions as an aid when doing things like tidying my room or putting away washing [aka all the grown-up tasks my brain goes NOOOOO at- thanks audhd]. (Week of Spirit City: Lofi Sessions - 4)

you HEARD ME I did a game jam, i had a menty b last week, fell down a hole, and dug my way out in the form of a little 3 minute game that i did the art of!

I had to do so much animating within the span of a week, and really I spent about 3 days total.

When I animated the main character's walk, I realized that at 8 fps it matched my fav song from Juno.

Every game is a fashion game, so say hello to the Petals For Armor skin.

I was obvs inspired by Hayley Williams for this idea, and I almost didn't finish the animation in time. In-game it's a little janky, because I'm not good at making sprite sheets yet. But I can confidently say that my janky petal animation is the worst part of the game. I'm really proud of everything we made in a week!

Finally played enough to have my dream room in Spirit City. If this was a real room I'd probably keep the walls a single color or just one accent wall with the small skulls wallpaper. Or I will get sensory overload.

But this is a digital world. :) So I cluttered everything.

Currently part of the Steam sale until July 11! I love Lofi beats and I was looking for something to help me be more productive with my writing since Camp NaNo is about to start. This looked like a fun thing to try, plus I like supporting a smaller game dev company!

It's more of a productivity tool than a game per se, kinda like if you imagined being able to customize the Lofi beats Youtube video you were watching, and you could add a timer and checklists and open a journal right there and write in it, and you could add in sounds like rain or typing and adjust it all together and set the time of day and have a cute little animal with you that you can pet (and collect more and different kinds)!

I'm looking forward to really trying it out!💖💖💖

After each fanfiction writing session, we’ll vote on which of our super talented streamer friends gets to lend their vocal talents to our masterpiece. 🎭

Our cast will read and voice act chat's masterpiece fanfiction in a separate but equally fun and chaotic stream, bringing the fanfiction that sparks joy for you to life.

Picture this: cozy fireside vibes, a cup of virtual cocoa, and the soothing sound of our tale unfolding. Bliss! ☕

Whether you’re a seasoned scribe or a first-time storyteller, this is your chance to let those creative sparks fly!

Chat will have a chance to vote for a VA for certain characters for each stream, and I will cast any additional characters as needed.

Any interested, to voice/read in the final fanfiction that is written by chat in these streams, is welcome to be a part of the pool!

You do not need any prior experience voice acting as this is meant to be a very adaptive fun project with chat. (Common stream courtesy will be expected.)

All interested VAs cannot be guaranteed a role for every fanfiction stream, but you will be part of the pool for voting and casting.

I will reach out before every stream to confirm any roles, and you can also be a part of the writing process.

Discretion advised though if you don't want to be spoiled. 😆

If there are any specific roles you wouldn't want to be a part of the pool for, please feel free to DM in discord me.

The goal in the end is for everyone to have fun and freely express their creativity.
