1- Then why is it whenever a country tries to implement communism, they directly go off of Marx's checklist as listed in the communist manifesto?

Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. Abolition of all rights of inheritance. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

To the point we can see these in Soviet Russia-

Abolition of private property? Check, the Soviet Union only recongized two forms of property- Public and Public Collective.

Abolition of inheritance? Check, It was actually done within five months of the Soviet Union's collapse.

Centralized credit? Yep, Gosbank.

Centralized communication and transport? Yep, in the existence of the ministry of communication and how automobiles, a very PRIVATE form of transport, only made up about 14% of traffic in the USSR.

The state owning factories and production? Yep, no private property remember?

Equal liability in work AKA you work whatever the state says so? Yep, through the job distribution project.

Literally the only part that the USSR doesn't follow is the tax part. All other categories they hit. As if Joseph Stalin was reading from the manifesto and using it as guidelines. Meaning that even if Engels is theoretically an equal to Marx in communist theory- in practice he seems more like the supplementary material. Meaning if there is something Marx didn't cover, go to Engels. But Marx's manifesto is still the primary source.

B. Because of said authoritarianism, there will ALWAYS be a system of classes as the governing people will always occupy a higher position than the governed people. A situation that communism, through its design, will ALWAYS facilitate and create.

C. Money is just a tool, a tool that makes the trade between people for goods and services easier. Why would a bunch of despots decide to make their cushy lives harder by eliminating money because of some ideology they violated when they killed all those farmers who wouldn't shut up and give them their food while the farmers starved?

'B-but the USSR wasn't communist! The Soviets just pretended to be so until Lenin achieved power!'

Completely ignoring that the USSR was using the Communist Manifesto as fucking guidelines-

How, exactly, is this idea contradictory to communism? Your theory maybe but that's the thing-

A theory is a hypothetical that must be tested to see if it is correct. And ever since the man who made the theory, it has failed. Because Marx was not a man who tried to add value to other people's lives through hard work- he was an abuser who mooched off his father and then Engels. Under communism, Marx would lose nothing and gain everything.

Suspiciously similar to Lenin. ... And Maduro. And Castro. And Zedong. And Sung. And this is only including the people who openly followed Communism because if we included both Communism and its right-wing offshoot Fascism, we'd be including Benito Mussolini and fucking HITLER.

Your theory is so broken that it can only ever lead to a violent dictatorship.

B. You yourself got all pissy when I criticized communism and lumped both ideologies together when asking me to talk about 'theory'. You even used 'fruits of your labor' in your original reblog above which you now say you don't care about.

You already said you're a communist. You're just sliding into the more benign sounding 'socialist' position. Otherwise, you would have just said 'I'm not a communist but whatever' at my first reblog. To say nothing of how the communists hiding in socialism would just push any implemented socialism into the later camp anyway.

And C. What was that about people pretending to be socialist for personal benefit? Unless you operate a business, I don't think you have anything to lose by preaching that ideology, thus it's entirely possible you are simply preaching for what profits you the most.

They would also be guaranteed things to fulfill their needs, along with stuff such as education and a occupation.'

Because communist governments have such a great track record of economic stability. Not like five medium to major sized countries have collapsed after implementing the ideology.

Also not like since the ideology is authoritarian, it's far far FAR more likely that the workers will be exploited even more because the people above them will have even more power and care less about them. Precisely BECAUSE they have more power than the 'capitalists'.

Oh and said countries from before? Prone to famines and basic necessities.

All of this ignoring how certain jobs are more necessary and/or labor intensive than others and yet your system would not account for that and compensate them appropriately since they would theoretically be given enough for their 'needs', not 'labor'. You never did answer my question.

After all, if the state is the only employer in a communist (or whatever derivative you want to dress yourself up as)- Where do the workers go if the state starts abusing them? There's no one else hiring.

Try to petition the government to stop? They're either so corrupt that they don't care or so utopian that they consider your suffering a 'necessary evil'. Usually both.

Try quitting? Nah, your labor is owned by the state """the people""" so you quitting and being a lazy fuck is depriving """the people""" of their steaks. Time for the firing squad.

My position is to free up the market more so smaller businesses can challenge bigger businesses, spreading the demand for labor across numerous businesses thus increasing its value and scarcity so the workers can demand better benefits in exchange. If this doesn't work then we take the data, analyze it and attempt to implement changes accordingly. Not go hog wild on some 'solution' that can't be reversed if it fails...and has a history of CATSROPHICALLY failing.

Where they increase the price of labor so much that only larger companies can afford the costs which the recuperated through the loss of competition through smaller businesses? There's nothing Jiang Cheng wouldn't do to have his siblings back. And when Nie Huaisang comes to him with a proposal to save them by changing everything, he doesn't even hesitate to agree.
