It's literally 4am and I'm watching a youtube video and they pointed out that Curt sings the line "If you fall, you know I got your back" during one more shot and now I am back in the spies are forever brainrot so while I'm writing this I should mention that ages ago I noticed Curt that before he goes to tell Tatiana about Chimera when she says "no more little birdies to worry about" he looks so worried about her and just ahhhh this show is just so good.

Curt singing "doesn't even matter if I killed my best friend" and the most dangerous man alive aka Owen sings "To show you the horror of staying alive" at the same time then on top of that Curt has been feeling guilty all thos years and started drinking because of it and then when he reveal his true identity to Curt he's fucking heart broken, he thought he died and had been mourning him and had just decided he's gonna give it once more try at saving the world only to find out the person behind it all was Owen.

Also in one step ahead Curt has another line that's literally "you know you broke my heart" Curtwen deserve the win and yes this is Curtwen propaganda 😌😌😌

The bit in Spy Again where Curt is asking Owen for advice hurts because if there had been anything else that caused Curt's depressive spiral --- had a mission gone wrong in literally any other way --- I have no doubt that Owen would say exactly what Curt thinks he would. But it was exactly that inciting event and so the tragedy somehow intensifies 😭
