"Oh my gods, agh, I’m sorry!" Nancy quickly covers her eyes and Stephanie scrambles to get off Riley. "It’s okay, what happened, nooboo?" Stephanie asks. "I had a nightmare from that horror movie we watched at auntie Sophie's place. I know it's babyish but can I sleep with you guys just for tonight?" Nancy asks. Riley feels a pang of frustration, they'd wanted to woohoo with Stephanie so badly. But then they look at their daughter, standing by the door and looking so unsure and scared and their heart melts. They glance at Stephanie, who nods. "Sure, nooboo, come here," they say and Nancy speed walks over to her parents.

I have been a lurker for the longest time. But the amount of updates you have for us is mind-boggling (in a good way) I can't resist but send you this ask.

So for a lost follower like me, can you share a summary of status of all your WIPs (i am looking at you side WLGYL commissioned single parent angsty wip)?

Haha. I think you're kind of lost track too, because that side WLGYL commissioned single parent was completed and delivered to its owner, and then the concept was fully implemented in the full game after the readers were kind enough to support me through a Kickstarter.

But to answer your question.

When Life Give You Lemons: I'm hoping to submit it to Hosted Games by the end of April. They will then decide when to publish it.

Insert Rich Family book 2: the demo is out will have an update at the beginning of May. This one will not be finished this year.

The Wedding: Steam page is up. The next update will be at the end of March but for Patreon only. I'm hoping to release the game in full by the end of this year.

It's a mystery/romance/erotica VN, and there will be explicit artwork in it.

Prepare the lotus seeds* let it soak in water a little. Wash some rice** and put it in the pot covered with water up to half the pot, add the lotus seeds when the water is boiling. Let it stew on low heat. (Play with the dog a bit, weed the plants some) Add some dry chili, goji berries and rock sugar. Gulu*** a little and it's ready!

Personal Notes:

*I you use dry seeds, soak in water for the night, save the fragrant water for the soup, open the seeds to remove the sprout otherwise it will give a very bitter taste to your dish.

**just a handful, or it won't be a soup. I'd suggest using glutinous rice, it taste better for sweet soups, or at least round rice ("sushi rice")

***when it's boiling again

- Traditional Chinese Medicine would recommend serving this hot but it should be tasty as a cold treat as well.

- The title says 麻辣 so it implies the use of sichuan/mala pepper 花椒. You can try if you enjoy the taste. (I personally dislike it and that's my main issue with ShìChuan cuisine, I can't have the 辣🌶 without the abundance of 麻.)

- If you don't trust HuaHua's bìchá-poison-damaged eyesight "creativity", replace the chili with dry red date/jujube 紅棗 to make this dish more traditional.

Kleo's GG Mini Cheesecakes

Hello my dear followers and random visitors of my blog.

As you know, some time ago I shared with you cakes I came up with that were inspired by the personalities of Kihyun (Monsta X) and Felix (Stray Kids).

But you know I could never stop there, right?

So yeah, you've guessed it. I made another dessert inspired by a person's characteristic traits. 😎 Yes, Kleo ain't just a decent tarot reader, she's also a goddess of baking... okay... maybe not that high. Sorry. I'm just really proud this time because it just came out so well.

Anyway!

This time I was actually inspired by one of my favourite VAs. I have already mentioned him here in one of the posts - Gentle Geek (Reddit - Patreon).

What is it made of and how it reflects Gentle Geeks personality? Well, I think the ingredients will give you hints 😏

The base is made of coconut flour, shredded cashew nuts and almonds (plenty of nuts 😂) cocoa, eggs, banana (🍌), oil and sugar. The only part that got baked and it's both crunchy due to the nuts and like soft and moist thanks to the banana... Seriously people... It's just perfect! I'll use this batter for cookies next time. Add some chocolate chips and boom! And it's gluten free.

The mascarpone cheese filling is smooth, creamy and with a dash of vanilla.

And the topping is a Mango&Pineapple&Chili flakes jelly - gooey, juicy, fruity, spicy&hot! 🥭🍍🌶 🔥

Don't ask me for detailed recipe, I don't measure things. I improvise in kitchen and add ingredients how I feel like it 😂 Yes, people do hate this about me because they can never learn my recipes. 😎

Somtam ส้มตำ 🌶🍋 is made sour and spicy. By taking raw papaya that has been chopped, sliced or grated into strips and pounded in a mortar. Along with other ingredients are small tomatoes. Fresh or dried chilies, yardlong beans, garlic and seasoned with palm sugar, fish sauce and lime.

La squadra's spice tolerance, from highest to lowest 🌶🌶🌶

1) Formaggio 🧀

Cheese man has the highest tolerance among his teammates, can easily eat a whole chili withput breaking a sweat and actually enjoys spicy food. However he has to remember to control himself when he makes " Aglio olio e peperoncino ", last time he sent one of his friends at the er ( more on that later 👀 )

2) Pesci 🐟

I know it's surprising, but pesci actually handles heat like a pro! His nonna and mamma are very fond on heavily seasoned cooking and they taught Pesci that a high tolerance to spices means you have a strong and warm heart.

He may not handle coffee, but he can easily eat a whole jar of 'nduja by himself!

3) Melone 🍈

Now Melone is more fond on sweet and sour than spicy, but his tolerance is actually kinda high! He can't actually explain that to himself and other to be honest cause he rarely eats spicy foods but when he does, you won't hear him complain that much; just some " ooh, maiala scotta scotta!!" Or " Deh che gliè un piccantino sto troiaio?"

4) Illuso 🔍

Now we are reaching the bottom of the pit, and illuso's sensitive tastebuds get a real kick in the shins whenever he eats spicy! Which is weird since he really likes pepper, but put even just a lil pinch of chili powder more than it supposed to be in his plate and he'll complain all night about how is tongue is " ruined forever "...such a drama queen

5) Risotto ✂️

You want the big scary capo out of your way for 2 hours? Make thai food for dinner, or even just season his pasta with the blandest chili powder you can find; you'll see him caugh and cry in no time.

His iron deficiency and his low spicy tolerance are a deadly mix and the only thing it can help him in that case is a 2 hours nap after a good ice cream, poor capo he tries his best when he goes to resturants tho 🤣

6) Prosciutto 🍖

No. Just no, take that f*cking devil dandruff away from him. Not only he can't handle spicy food, he hates it from the bottom of his heart! This includes both ethnic and italian foods, his refined palate only allows sophisticated and delicate flavours inside his mouth....and then smokes Malboro but that's beside the point! You'll never even see Prosciutto eating spicy food...but if you do prepare to see him run to the bathroom to throw up.

7) Ghiaccio 🧊

Tastebuds of a 3 year old child? Y e s!

Ghiaccio can't even SMELL the chili powder in the air that he starts gagging and caughing like crazy!! Even pepper has to stay away from his plate, and no joke he'll straight up punch you if you even dare to put something like that nearby his plate. And yes, he is the poor guy who went to the ER after tasting formaggio's food; apparently the nurses were afraid cause he looked like a rabid dog screaming blasphemies, crying, salivating and spitting....not a good sight at all.

In conclusion, Ghiaccio will have " spezzatino e polenta " grazie~

Pesca has the highest tolerance of the group, the boys saw her eating whole chilis like popcorn and were kinda freaked out 🤣

Ah, Greek gods! The OG drama queens (and kings) of ancient lore. You think your life is dramatic? Wait till you read the modern-day saga of Persephone and Hades in "A Touch of Darkness." One moment you're at a nightclub trying to fit into your mortal shoes, and the next you've unwittingly signed up for a timeshare in the Underworld. Classic Tuesday night, am I right?

Set in the hip metropolis of New Athens, a city where one might bump into a deity sipping on a latte, this retelling has all the modern twists you'd expect. Our protagonist, Persephone (or Perri to her mates), is your quintessential student of journalism who enjoys the simple pleasure of baking. Probably whipping up ambrosia cupcakes on the weekends, I'd imagine.

Let's talk about the "Touch of Darkness" himself, Hades. The broody and magnetic owner of Nevernight is the very embodiment of "it's complicated" on Facebook. He's your typical misunderstood bad boy. Dark, tall, mysterious, and probably the type to leave you on read for a couple of hours just because he's ruling the Underworld or something. However, the depth he carries is akin to the layers of the Underworld he governs – intricate, complex, and occasionally a tad hot.

Now, for all you spicy lovers out there, prepare to fan yourself at Chapters VI, VII, XVIII, and XXIII. Let's just say if this book was food on a menu, it'd come with a little chili pepper next to it.

My favorite quote from the book has to be: “I have waited lifetimes for you, I know it." Now, if that doesn't make you swoon, you might just be a stone statue in Medusa's gallery.

While the book has a playful and electric energy, it's essential to note that it touches on some sensitive themes. Please be aware of trigger warnings, including alcohol, bullying, child abuse, drugging, sexual assault, toxic relationships, and sexual content.
