美國常常舉辦一種拼字比賽，大人小孩都可參加。

有一次在電視台舉行全國小學生的拼字比賽。到了最後剩下兩個小孩，其中一個是從加州來的，父母是中南美洲的人，所以他講起話來有一點口音。拼到最後一個字，評審就問這個從加州來的小孩說：「你拼的那個字我聽不清楚，你中間有一個字拼的是A還是E？A是錯的，B才是對的，如果你對了，冠軍就是你的。」那個小孩站起來說：

「很對不起，我拼的是錯的。」然後就坐下去，當然冠軍就給了另外一個小孩。但是第二天所有的報紙都刊登：一個小孩為了誠實丟掉了5萬塊美金的獎金。他認為他的誠實比這5萬塊美金還要值錢；卻沒有人知道那次比賽的冠軍是誰！弟兄姊妹，誠實是你生命中間的至寶。

Starfire is a Halfa

So! We all know Starfire's backstory right? She was the princess of Tameran, sold off as a Slave by her sister, and experimented on giving her Energy Based Powers before she escaped to Earth and joined the Teen Titans.

What you didn't know, is that the Experiments were using a very specific Substance. Ectoplasm.

The Experiments done on Starfire turned her into a Halfa, the 3rd Natural Born Halfa in existence. Not that she knew anything about that, the records of the Aliens who Experimented on her were destroyed when the Ship crashed on Earth, so she didn't know the true origin of her Powers.

All this time she has been using her powers through her Mortal Body, never discovering her Transformed Ghost State even years after the Experiments. She has no idea that she is limiting herself, that she has a whole catalog of Powers that have never seen the Light of Day.

But Raven has noticed something. Her recent Divination Spells have detected the presence of a Powerful Ghost somewhere in the Tower, and she needs to find it.

So, I'm going to either make this joke more or less funny by explaining it, Colin Robinson-style:

Nandor isn't being an idiot by misspelling 'knowledge', he's spelling it phonetically.

Why? Well, it's probably not just that English is a horrendous abomination sent by god to punish us and an even worse trail for English learners either, but Persain is a (mostly) phonetic language!

This means each letter has a corresponding sound and words are phonetic in spelling (again, for the most part), unlike 'knowledge' in English where there are like...at least three?? unnecessary extra letters.

So, what's the phonetic spelling of 'knowledge' look like?

If anyone doesn’t know what Maladaptive daydreaming means, it’s a very intense daydream that can feel real and can be an escape from reality. You can even daydream about fictional characters(at least I do).

The foolish claim that Canto 6 does not have many direct references to Wuthering Heights.

Those among the wise recognize that the true similarities lie not in things like superficial plot or progression, but the depths of themes flowing beneath.

Nelly and Catherine, in this Canto, have read Wuthering Heights with that mirror, see the similarities, and then seek to leave it, to leave the cycle, through their actions bringing Erlking Heathcliff, the closest to 'book' Heathcliff, into this story, and ending up perpetuating the story, the story of Wuthering Heights. By seeking to escape the narrative, they have become one with it, Cathy literally becoming part of the titular Wuthering Heights (mansion), Nelly and the Butlers being bound by contract to the land. As they struggle against their binds, they become further bound and entangled, drawing all the others in.

What is the message here, then? It is hard to tell. Heathcliff is still bound and cannot, or does not, fully escape, because, as we see from the Erlkonig, that method of escape is not one at all and leads to further suffering. But there is still a defiance of fate, if not to change the cycle, then to rewrite it within its bounds. To pick up the metaphorical pen, and to see that the fault lies not with specifically Heathcliff, or Catherine, or the love and feelings that lies between them, but with their actions, and while the past cannot be changed, it can be reflected on and changed moving forward. Heathcliff can live, and he will not be the same as he was in the past, because of his love for Catherine and for others. That said actions, when you look into the book and the Mirror World, can give birth to the happiness of Hareton Earnshaw and Catherine Linton.

Heathcliff, our Heathcliff, will continue to search for Cathy, not solely for his own happiness, but for hers as well, that they might be together once more, free from the Heights, or even that they might be happy separately, separately but alive and existing.
