Imagine how hard it was for Genevieve to be talking to her beloved over the phone, all giggly and happy, and in an INSTANT suddenly she hears them running for their life and I expect at some point they drop the phone or hang up and she’s forced to spend who knows HOW long wondering if they’re okay and what they’re running from. My parents got a new car and I honestly can't stand it. There are no buttons and dials and switches. There's no cd player and no radio either. Everything's digital and screens and Bluetooth. There isn't even a key to turn, it's all wireless and touchless and awful. I miss my dad's rusty blue pickup truck with its cd player and visible ventilation and falling down ceiling and all the dials and knobs and switches and buttons and DIALS!! DIALS!!!!

Man, the thing about very twisty mountain roads is that sometimes you come around a bend and there's just an Unexpected Object In Your Fuckin' Lane, right there.

This happened to me THREE TIMES coming back from the grocery store.

The bicyclist was insane, speed limit is 55, there's fuckall visibility and apocalyptic grades that HAVE to make your whole entire leg want to fall off, lanes are narrow, there's no shoulder and nowhere to go if a car does decide 'fuck sharing the road'. The guy coming the other way who slowed down so I had to almost come to a stop to wait for him to pass before I could slide halfway into the other lane to go around said cyclist with actual clearance rather than running them over had me like 'sir why have you chosen to make my life harder and worse. FOOT OFF THE BRAKE. MOVE.' Cyclist was on my side of the road going my direction so I'm not sure what his damage was or if he was just choosing violence.

The turkey was cute but also I hope it moved because immediately after I saw it I saw a truck coming the other direction around yet another blind curve.

And then I came around a bend to the mail jeep half in the other lane and a goddamn hauler truck full of logs fully in MY lane coming towards me and I went,

'This is the universe telling me I should drive less and appreciate being alive more, huh.'

a bit late to the driving discussion but i cant even imagine the amount of road rage mine experiences everyday, i think being in a car with him would be terrifying

let me play contrarian and say the real stress of being in the same car as mine is that he probably does 80 in a 60 mph zone while talking on the phone

they built a roundabout near my house and it’s like the only one here and they’ve put up a bunch of signs that say ROUNDABOUT so u remember that it is a roundabout bc it is a new creature that none of us have seen before and we need to be warned of it’s existence before we see it or we’ll start crying and sobbing about it anyway we’re betting on how many accidents there will be before the end of the month bc it is also right next to a school so there will be soooo much school traffic going through that thing and if there’s one thing i know it’s that parent pickupers are foolish and want to cause accidents on purpose

I rewatched s1e7 and I find glomgold's development as a character so funny... he's very competent in the pilot (probably because he's more focused on stealing the jewel rather than one-upping scrooge?), and imo a bit more low-key compared to his later characterisation, so infernal internship is the first time the audience Really gets to see how his mind works, and like. I had one following me tonight so close that I couldn't see his headlights over the actual tailgate and only knew he was there because he kept sliding sideways enough to show up in my side-view mirrors. Sir, not only have you utterly failed to intimidate me into speeding up, if I stop suddenly my tow hitch is going to go through your front grill and straight into your engine. Please reconsider your driving choices
