I 110% agree with the autistic Miles Edgeworth interpretation (as an autistic person myself). Unironically I think he's some of the best autistic rep in gaming despite it all being accidental coding.
But I feel like people ignore the fact that Gregory Edgeworth was ALSO definitely autistic for most of the same reasons. He just isn't coded quite as strongly, but it's still there.
-He talks overly formally, possibly even more so than Miles does honestly.
-He takes comments VERY literally ("Detective, are you saying you have personally seen cherubs before?")
-He introduces himself to everyone in a very scripted manner (my brothers and I even made a joke about how it would be funny if he introduced himself the exact same way he does in his beginning monologue to everyone he met....and then he did)
-Noted by other characters to have a very serious expression, just like his son. To the point where he seems to be glaring at people when he is really just intensely focused.
-Barely ever smiles outside of being nervous. He has 1 smiling sprite that isn't his damage animation and it doesn't see a lot of use. He's even frowning in his photo with Eddie, despite the fact that, unlike the one Eddie took with Miles, it wasn't quite as spur of the moment and Gregory doesn't remark on hating having his photo taken like Miles does.
-Didn't seem to have any close friends, considering Miles was taken in by a complete stranger and his company and belongings went to his teenaged assistant.
-Very strong moral code and obviously a strong sense of justice
-Feels the need to correct Badd on random trivia and doesn't understand why he gets offended and defensive.

Honestly Two's character is very interesting because they're kinda the opposite of Four in a way.
They're very much a kind person however their flaws are a lot more hidden and insiduous. They don't seem to take into consideration other people's feelings when they try to do something they consider nice (The Winner/Clock thing for exemple). Not in a malicious way obviously.
I would say the Gaty stuff is the same. Two definitely thinks they're doing something good (ex : "Cool new gig I got you huh ?") not realizing that Gaty might not enjoy it.
It's possible this is Two repeating the cycle, I'll be honest the Winner/Clock thing also seees like Two projecting as well but I could be overanalysing.
Honestly all this screams that Two has abandonnement issues and if this is linked to their past in any way I will drink champagne

See, minecraft/mcyt is my special interest (cause autism) and I'm currently hyperfixating on hermitcraft, especially joel and etho (cause adhd)
So seeing joel and etho interact on hc....
My brain literally can't handle the dopamine rush i get when i see those two even MENTION each other. I need to pause the video and just run around my room like a feral animal. If i dont get rid of the excess energy i will simply explode into confetti.

I’ll never forget my counselor’s face when I said I used to secretly be really into aliens because I was worried that I was one. I thought I must not be from earth. But I must have known how weird that was because I never wanted anyone to find out. I would pull up the wikipedia page for dogs or trees or something, just to have a decoy tab to click to really fast so I wouldn’t risk anyone noticing what I was actually reading about or asking me why.
Anyway I’ve never attempted clinical diagnosis but if a professional ever tries to tell me I’m allistic I will laugh at them so hard and mock their career choice.

ok my OTHER reflection:
on the one hand its really frustrating to see the posts about docs and healthcare in general on here be so narrow-minded. bad experiences with certain providers have lead to a huge spread of misinformation and mistrust with the whole system. which can and HAS lead to people avoiding 'evil' doctors for perfectly treatable illnesses and dying from them (the vaccine bullshit, anyone?)
but on the other hand. it is TERRIFYING how some of these docs practice medicine. at times i think 'are you just burned out and don't give a shit or are you straight up just stupid?' and i work in critical care. where quite literally every case is life or death. even in the academic sector where there is supposedly a standard of excellence, some doctors i would not let touch my loved ones with a ten foot pole.
and that sucks. i know this is the no nuance piss on the poor webbed site but 'the medical system and people that work for it are fallible and aspects of it are morally questionable at best/unethical at worst' AND 'the field of medicine exists to help people first and foremost and mistrusting/avoiding it can be detrimental in the long run' can and DO co-exist
#also. folks i hate to tell you but 'doctors get big pharma kickbacks and they can cure you but just choose not to to get more money'#is a very tempting conspiracy theory. but it is SO UNTRUE.#hey listen. if someone is telling you they can 'cure' your disease magically if you just take x vitamin THEY ARE LYING#even miraculous cures like bone marrow transplants for autoimmune disease and CAR-T therapy#have such severe side-effects that they quite literally kill you#i can't tell you how many times i've taken care of people who#had their cancer 'cured' but the treatment ruined their kidneys/heart/lungs#or fucked their immune system so bad that a common bacteria could completely take them out#anyone selling you miracles is L Y I N G#i understand that a lot of this anger is around disability and chronic illness and psych and i get that. intimately.#its 100% accurate to say that a patient who researched independently about ehlers-danlos or POTS knows more about it than i do.#and its hard to see the profession as 'people who sincerely ARE trying to help' when you actively work with people who fucking suck#and you think like 'you went to school. you went through all this training. you (presumably) passed boards'#we should have at least around the same level of knowledge#but that is often not the case#still#making large scale statements about an entire profession (especially when its supposed to be a civic service) is just... not good#my two cents rec for this is:#if you think you have something rare or unusual try to find a doc that specialized in this i.e. go to an academic center.#trainees are less set in their ways and can think outside the box PLUS if there are new/innovative treatments they would have them#if you need pretty much ANY surgery. private is the way to go#you want surgeons with high volume and experience#surgical techniques do not change on the dime. most havent changed in 50+ years. a lot of other medicine DOES#(this of course does not apply to specialized surgeries like whipple or PTE or schwannoma resection - go to academics for that)#if its REALLY rare whether medical or surgical your GP will not know what to do with you#academic centers are referral centers. they are more likely to have the right tools to diagnose/treat#where was i going with this?#oh yeah i had an odd interaction with an ED doc admitting to me last night that was NOT practicing within current standard of care#and was just so casual and assured i started to doubt MYself. like. am I the crazy one?!?!#like i'm young i dont know everything SURE

Examples of how to accommodate autistic people in your life
Ask them! Don’t assume that you know best about what will help them
Don’t change plans last minute or expect them to do things at short notice
Let them prepare how they need to eg, giving the website of the restaurant you’re planning to go to beforehand so they can look at the menu and visualise where they’re going
Understand that familiarity and predictability are important to them, so they might enjoy going to the same places/doing the same things multiple times
Don’t make sarcastic comments or make them feel uncomfortable for stimming
If they ask you to stop talking to them for a bit as their senses are overwhelmed do not get angry at them
Understand that their social battery may be less than yours
