I need more scary space hazards that are based on sea creatures.

Giant Angler fish with lights that mimic the nearby space station.

Massive space jellies with the wreckage of ship caught in its drifting tentacles.

Space squid that have an ink that scrambles scanners and blots out the stars.

Just, creatures living out in the ether. I think space is more terrifying and wonderful that way.

It's April 1st and ever since 2017 instead of some prank or joke I decided to draw a picture to celebrate Aprio's creation. I experimented a bit more with pose here as well as colored lineart for this drawing.

This is an early Cthulhu piece I made way back in 2003.

I've been a fan of Lovecraft and his seafood anti-passion for ages. My grandmother introduced me to his work when I was about thirteen. I've branched out into all kinds of related weirdness since then, from both HPL's contemporaries and modern horror/thriller/weird fiction authors. Occasionally, somebody plants the art bug in my brain, and out pops something fun like this.

This is Prismacolor pencil over India ink, I think. The ground might be a mix of ink and watercolor/salt. But the color work is definitely all Prismacolor.

you have GOT to remember when watching the new doctor who that the question is not is this good. doctor who is only ever actually 'good' once a season at most. THE ONLY QUESTION IS is it fun, camp, and has aliens. also remember the worst doctor who showrunner is always the current doctor who showrunner. now go watch the new episodes as god intended like you're ten years old and still remember how to experience joy and whimsy.

Aprio was feeling kinda left out since some of his friends had cool suits, so he begged Eclipex to make him one too. And dispite the fact that Aprio powerful and sturdy enough he didn't need a suit, Eclipex decided to humor the little space squid and made him what ended up being a human sized Mech suit.
