now, we usually have someone from Scumport come and give everyone a trim twice a year! and in my case, a dye as well!

Been playing a TON of palworld and I am so autistic over it 😭 it's literally just me and my little goober animal friends that go around and explore just a beautiful open world map and build and try to survive 🫶 what more could I really ask for

I mean, you have a meditation studio with a lovely glass roof letting in the sunshine up-top; a yoga studio, two massage rooms, a proper workout space, and a whole boxing room on the second floor; and showers, toilets, a pool, a hot tub, and a sauna on the bottom floor! Isn’t that nice? :D Though admittedly, a little bit of this is my work -- after getting the lot and putting it in my game, I changed out all the treadmills, weight machines, and both the massage chair and the massage table for nicer versions, and added the rock-climbing wall in the workout area for interest. Because I was like “I never see this damn thing in gyms and I want it in there, darn it.” But the majority of this is all Maydussa, and you should thank them for their hard work. :)

Anyway -- with such a lovely gym on offer, nobody could resist the urge to get pumped:

-->Smiler started out in the boxing room, throwing a few punches -- I ATTEMPTED to have them join one of the yoga classes on offer, but after indicating that they couldn’t get to one of the mats for some reason, I had them instead just get in some cardio on the treadmill after they were done beating up the boxing bag.

-->Alice used her super speed to zip up to one of the weight machines and start pumping iron like a boss. She gave it her all, stopping only to take a vacation day from her job -- what, you expect her to work? She has fitness to gain! Poor girl ended up pretty sore by the end, but she really did her best to push the limits. . .

-->And Victor, after using the bathroom, ended up on the climbing wall! Easiest setting, admittedly, but he made ascending the continually-moving wall look easy. In fact, he liked it so much, he went for another round all on his own. :) I mean, it does make sense, canon indicated that he was an amazing climber.

So yes, this is how the trio spent the rest of their morning! But was it enough for Alice to fulfill her resolution?

This is how I felt the last few years since my current job took so much out of me. Then I stayed up for 24 hours partially making a game on stream.

Being able to sit and write, create and just have fun putting something together, doing something I wanted to do without any interruptions whatsoever helped me find myself again. I've started writing and drawing again, my depression has lessened and I just feel more awake.

When you have the time and ability take a few days off work. Get a rest day, then spend at least half the day doing something you love or something you've wanted to do for a long time. Make yourself do it, have someone hold you accountable, or have someone help you do it.

Remind yourself of who you are and what you're capable of without restrictions.

You'll find yourself again, or find someone new that's grown stronger without you ever realizing.

It looks comical, the way Mammon tries to fit inside your closet as well. There’s barely room for him, but somehow he manages to squeeze his long limbs into the small space. Once he’s sat, he turns his head slightly to look at you.

“Who are we hiding from?”

His blue eyes practically light up the place, and you can feel the heat radiating from him. Tentatively you inch a little closer and he opens his legs so you can slot between them, your back against his chest. You lean into the embrace, letting him wrap his arms around you. You can feel the beating of his heart next to your ear.

“I don’t know,” you mutter. You watch the wall of the closet, eyes trailing the curves and patterns of the wood. “Everyone,” you say.

Mammon hums. He presses a gentle kiss to your hair. You grab a hand from your waist, deciding to play with his fingers instead. In difference from his usual white, they’re painted the colour of your eyes. Yours matches with a mix of blue and yellow. All stolen from Asmo of course.

(He let you steal them. Mammon was not very discreet. You had to make up for it with a spa day the next weekend.)

Slowly you interwine your fingers with Mammon’s, leaning back to rest your head on his chest and closing your eyes.

“Were ya hiding from me too?”

adrien is absolutely the kind of friend you can never jokingly ask to buy you stuff. alya will sarcastically say 'you should buy me this €80 shatterproof phone case' and a week later he's like 'here you go :D' marinette will say 'i wish someone would just send me to a fully paid for spa weekend' and she'd check her email at the end of the day and adrien has booked it all for her. everyone tries telling him to stop but he genuinely just loves giving stuff to his friends. but this also means everyone now AGGRESSIVELY reduces the things they joke about wanting. nino will say 'you know i think i want these very affordably priced headphones from ebay', marinette will say 'i could really do with a loving, friendly massage right now'
