a friend is the director of a new hip bookstore in Montréal (Joie de Livres, check it out of you can), and he's very good at promoting local authors, like me. He's been doing an amazing job with Mrs. Victoria buys a brothel, and I'm very grateful.
I also needed to share this pic they posted on instagram. I wasn't part of that specific event ("Le 12 août, j'achète un livre québécois"), but he still took the time to show my book in *the most tasteful way*.

From now on I'll be comparing all future promotion of my book to this unhinged picture.

Microsoft Office, like many companies in recent months, has slyly turned on an “opt-out” feature that scrapes your Word and Excel documents to train its internal AI systems. This setting is turned on by default, and you have to manually uncheck a box in order to opt out.
If you are a writer who uses MS Word to write any proprietary content (blog posts, novels, or any work you intend to protect with copyright and/or sell), you’re going to want to turn this feature off immediately. How to Turn off Word’s AI Access To Your Content
I won’t beat around the bush. Microsoft Office doesnt make it easy to opt out of this new AI privacy agreement, as the feature is hidden through a series of popup menus in your settings:On a Windows computer, follow these steps to turn off “Connected Experiences”:
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options > Privacy Settings > Optional Connected Experiences > Uncheck box: “Turn on optional connected experiences”

developed a real fondness lately for characters who experience a horrific act of violence and come out the other side saying "ah. I don't think I get to be me anymore. they took out the part that was me, killed it, and put something else back in its place, and now I'm whoever the hell that is." love it when someone becomes a corpse and replaces themself <3

#stobotnik#I'm keeping that tag because Stone would ABSOLUTELY forge a marriage certificate in case something ever happened where Robotnik had to go-#-to the hospital

Now I can't stop thinking about Eggman catching Stone looking at him and pining over him until THIS happens and both of them being way more casually physical after that. Stone wouldn't be afraid to touch him from then on and Eggman would be pulling him onto his lap or pulling him in for kisses whenever he feels like it when he's working.
Eggman/Stone is PEAK Stobotnik, I can't! T-T
first kiss :0 I was just training how to draw my cartoon Stone, and it somehow became that lil story
#Your art style is so good! it's like perfectly soft?? like cozy in both lineart and colors? idk how to say it but it's PERFECT#stobotnik#agent stone#eggman#sonic fanart#digital art#art#fanart#arte#artists on tumblr#sketch

Heads up! A lot of things online are getting ridiculous right now! Watch out for things like this happening and always, always, ALWAYS question who actually owns the programs/sites you use!

here's the story. i know expressvpn has been recommended in some 🏴☠️ how-to posts but it is not trustworthy. the parent company, kape technologies, not only used to distribute malate but has ties to multiple state surveillance agencies. and be careful where you look for info about good vpns, because kape technologies owns a bunch of "vpn review" sites too
