This folded card has images of the Hermitage museum in Leningrad (St Petersburg). Glued inside are two bits of stock paper with 4 stamps tucked inside. The stamps are from the Spanish Fine Art in the Hermitage series published in 1985. (It's not the full issue, it had 5 stamps.)

Nigerian Newspapers: 10 things you need to know Wednesday morning

Good morning! Here is today’s summary from Nigerian Newspapers: 1. The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has suspended the nationwide planned protest slated for Wednesday. The NLC and other related unions commenced nationwide protests on Tuesday over the high cost of living, inflation, insecurity, and hardship in the country. 2. The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has increased the benchmark interest rate by 400 basis points to a record 22.75%. The CBN Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, disclosed this while reading the communiqué of the first MPC meeting of the year on Tuesday in Abuja. 3. The Senate has asked the Federal Government to introduce a food stamps programme as a measure to cushion the effect of hunger and food crisis in the country. It also urged the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to liaise with development partners and other relevant stakeholders, especially the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, which introduced Temporary Food Assistance Programme,a few years ago. 4. A pastor in charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Grace of Comfort Parish, Omitoto, in Osun State, Moris Fadehan, has been reported to have been murdered inside his church by one of his assistants, Lekan Ogundipe. According to sources, the suspect drew the attention of the people to the presence of the partly burnt remains of the pastor inside the church on Monday. 5. A 29-year-old man, Joseph Yakubu, has been arrested by the Plateau State Police Command for allegedly killing his father, Yakubu Dalyop, with a pestle. Yakubu was said to have picked a pestle and hit his father during a disagreement. This led to the victim’s unconsciousness and eventual death. 6. At least 20 students of some boarding public schools in Potiskum, Fika, and Fune local government areas of Yobe State have died from a suspected Meningitis outbreak. It was learnt that the deaths were recorded in Government Science Technical College, Government Girls Science Technical College, and Federal Government Girls College. 7. The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Olayemi Cardoso, has distanced himself from the economic hardship Nigerians are currently experiencing. Speaking on Tuesday at the first Monetary Policy Committee, MPC, meeting under his leadership, Cardoso said he and his team were not responsible for the prevailing economic challenges Nigerians were facing. 8. The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has commenced sale of dollars to Bureau De Change operators. Announcing the development in a statement on Tuesday, the apex bank said $20,000 will be available to each eligible BDC operator across the country. 9. Barrister Chris Agidy, the Senior Legislative Aide, SLA, to the lawmaker representing Delta North, Senator Ned Nwoko, who was kidnapped by bandits in 2023, has been killed. The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed this on Tuesday, said the body of the deceased has been recovered. 10. Kaduna State Government has confirmed five deaths following lassa fever outbreak in the state. This was confirmed by the state’s commissioner for health, Hajiya Umma Ahmed, on Tuesday. wait there are hidden bosses in persona 5

Yes! I won't spoil too much, because IDK if you've finished the game, anon. But there are three hidden bosses in P5 Royal, and each require specific circumstances to unlock. They're required for the Thieves Den achievement, and I'm mostly sure you have to be NG+ ("new game plus", a mode you unlock by loading a completed save file that carries over some of your data) to unlock two of them. To unlock two (but not the same two, I'll explain) you have to be in Royal's third semester (achieved by maxing out the Counselor confidant before November 17th).

Potential spoilers under the cut!

The Twins - As far as I know, there's no special condition for unlocking this fight, besides being in NG+. I'm pretty sure it has to be done in Mementos, but any time between 5/9 and 12/17 (though I could be wrong?). This is what I'd consider to be the second hardest of the bunch, but as long as you come prepared you should be fine. There is a turn limit on this, I believe 50 turns, before they auto-defeat you. My biggest tips are: 1. don't let either twin get a 1-more, as they are capable of Baton Passing. I waited until my third playthrough to give my party each the Ring of Vanity accessories, as it nulls weaknesses and otherwise you'd be relying on evasion. Make sure Joker's personas don't have weaknesses. 2. Down both twins at the same time, because they can heal/revive each other.

Lavenza - This is the hardest of the bunch. You must be in NG+ AND have defeated the twins. This is only available in Mementos in third semester. I cannot stress that this is the only boss fight in Royal that I've had to retry. Save before going in. I mean that. She consists of 4 unique phases with conditions that MUST be met. I have so much I can say in way of tips for this fight, but I'll keep it short: 1. same as before, do NOT let her exploit weaknesses. 2. Bring Yoshizawa and continually remember to use Brave Step, because you will need it come the crit phase. 3. My winning party was actually Haru, Ryuji, and Sumi. Haru is great for the technical round, Sumi for crits, and Ryuji is just... good to have. You will probably be using Joker mostly to buff and heal until the final phase. 4. Stock up on charge/concentrate items and make sure to get items that lower enemy defense. I'll make a comprehensive guide if anyone cares but I'll stop here.

Jose - Easy fight. As long as you have SP restoring items, this one is very easy. To unlock this, collect all the stamps and meet Jose in the bottom of third semester's new area in Mementos. He will only use magic attacks, and I think resists physical, so bring good magic users and just hit him a lot.

Again, I'll make a Lavenza guide if anyone wants, but yeah. These are the hidden bosses in P5R.

Tips to keeping a planner for those who struggle with consistency

Don’t worry about aesthetics. As you can see in the photo included, I’m no instagram photograher. I don’t stick to a strict colour scheme and I don’t worry about everything or anything being perfect. I like to use dot paper because I like using a grid structure but sketchbook paper is often cheaper and more accessible. If you like the dot paper too many public libraries have printers available either for free or a small fee and the dots can be printed on any normal paper. Keep it simple. Bullet Journaling is really trendy and it’s very easy to get overwhelmed by all the beautiful photos and layouts on Pinterest, Instagram, or other social media, but remember that the people with dedicated blogs to journaling have probably been doing it for a really long time. If you’re just starting out don’t overwhelm yourself with layouts and all kinds of extra pages. Stick to what it is you need. For me, my main goal was to start tracking my daily tasks and responsibilities so I do mine one month at a time. For March, I started with an overview of the month with my important dates for the whole month. The next thing in my journal is space for each day of the week, so I can expand on my tasks each week. I try to only focus on the expansion of my tasks one week at a time, but I add to it each day, even if it’s just to cross one thing off the list. This brings me to my next point.

Carry it EVERYWHERE. If you’re anything like me, not having something in front of you means it doesn’t exist (sometimes described as a lack of object permanence in the ADHD/ADD world). I have two options for bags that I take everywhere with me: a backpack or an medium-sized crossbody purse depending on my outfit or where I’m going. My journal holds A5 paper which is about 5.5”x8.5” so it’s about the size of a novel. When I come home from being out and about I always take my journal out of the bag right away or else I may temporarily forget it exists. I usually leave it on the couch or coffee table most days, which works for me because it’s just me, my partner, and our two cats so I don’t worry about it being moved or in the way. If that’s something you have to worry about (like if you live with roommates or your parents) try to keep a designated spot for it wherever you spend the most time, like on your nightstand or even right on your pillow.

Use things that bring you joy. This might include gel pens, specific highlighters, fun stickers, or having a colour theme. Anything really. I love pink so I have a lot of pink things for mine. I also have little mini stamps, highlighters, and some brush markers that I use. Don’t worry about buying a bunch of things all you really need is paper and something to write with. I’ve built a collection of art supplies over the years so I really didn’t have to purchase more than the binder I use, but like I said before, there are lots of affordable basic office supplies at various stores. My tricks for when I’m shopping is to only bring the cash that I can spend and to only buy something if I connect with it and it’s purposeful for me. Don’t focus on what you’re told you need, brands, trends, or anything aside from what you deeply like. Imagine you’re the only person that will lay eyes on your journal, and you may be, so it should be something you like to hold and look at. Good morning! Here is today’s summary from Nigerian Newspapers: 1. The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has suspended the nationwide planned protest slated for Wednesday. The NLC and other related unions commenced nationwide protests on Tuesday over the high cost of living, inflation, insecurity, and hardship in the country. 2. The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has increased the benchmark interest rate by 400 basis points to a record 22.75%. The CBN Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, disclosed this while reading the communiqué of the first MPC meeting of the year on Tuesday in Abuja. 3. The Senate has asked the Federal Government to introduce a food stamps programme as a measure to cushion the effect of hunger and food crisis in the country. It also urged the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to liaise with development partners and other relevant stakeholders, especially the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, which introduced Temporary Food Assistance Programme,a few years ago. 4. A pastor in charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Grace of Comfort Parish, Omitoto, in Osun State, Moris Fadehan, has been reported to have been murdered inside his church by one of his assistants, Lekan Ogundipe. According to sources, the suspect drew the attention of the people to the presence of the partly burnt remains of the pastor inside the church on Monday. 5. A 29-year-old man, Joseph Yakubu, has been arrested by the Plateau State Police Command for allegedly killing his father, Yakubu Dalyop, with a pestle. Yakubu was said to have picked a pestle and hit his father during a disagreement. This led to the victim’s unconsciousness and eventual death. 6. At least 20 students of some boarding public schools in Potiskum, Fika, and Fune local government areas of Yobe State have died from a suspected Meningitis outbreak. It was learnt that the deaths were recorded in Government Science Technical College, Government Girls Science Technical College, and Federal Government Girls College. 7. The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Olayemi Cardoso, has distanced himself from the economic hardship Nigerians are currently experiencing. Speaking on Tuesday at the first Monetary Policy Committee, MPC, meeting under his leadership, Cardoso said he and his team were not responsible for the prevailing economic challenges Nigerians were facing. 8. The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has commenced sale of dollars to Bureau De Change operators. Announcing the development in a statement on Tuesday, the apex bank said $20,000 will be available to each eligible BDC operator across the country. 9. Barrister Chris Agidy, the Senior Legislative Aide, SLA, to the lawmaker representing Delta North, Senator Ned Nwoko, who was kidnapped by bandits in 2023, has been killed. The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed this on Tuesday, said the body of the deceased has been recovered. 10. Kaduna State Government has confirmed five deaths following lassa fever outbreak in the state. This was confirmed by the state’s commissioner for health, Hajiya Umma Ahmed, on Tuesday. I mean, it's already difficult to know what happens/happened when when you're living in a time zone different from the one the game's server uses (nevermind that the in-game clock and the time stamps from prizes or gem/SP usage are two different time zones as well), but have a look at these:

1. My in-game profile says I started playing on October 24.

2. A screenshot of my first pull in A3 was taken on October 25. (I wish I had rerolled btw but I didn't know that was a thing then)

3. And today it's October 23, both in my time zone and in-game...

Conclusion: It's an anniversary weekend then! 🎉

Anyways: It's been an exciting first year and looking back, I mostly had a good time (tries not to stare at Nocturnality Tasuku), but I wish I had started playing seriously sooner (before April of this year).
