with valerie.. the signs are obvious LOL but not Overtly So. she tries to keep it all cool, but she'd start doing more things for you and generally just want to spend more time with you. slightly dote on you a bit. shes trying to make it known without Making It KNOWN, if that makes sense she primarily shows her affection through friendly fire roasting, and thats about it. shes not super confident in her ability to Show her affection, so she covers it up with banter and lets her actions speak for her

with yuna.. SHE. is a pretty stoic person. so there wont be many signs with her! the biggest and probably only one will be the music she chooses to listen to as an outlet for her feelings but shes great at Showing the affection. pretty much the exact opposite of valerie - she'll run your errands for you. she'll make mixtapes for you. she'll mix a drink to resemble you and pass it off as the night's special. she's all about the little things

🌱 - Do they have a green thumb or are they a plant killer?

valerie is pretty middle ground with plants! she just tries her best, and whatever happens happens. though if i had to pick, she's probably more leaning to plant killer.. ever so slightly. shes trying. shes Really trying

but yuna on the other hand has an AMAZING green thumb..... for one plant only. her pink syngonium! she doesnt understand it but she kills every other plant. her special bond with the syngonium must not be broken

valerie is more of a tea person, and yuna is more of a coffee person! i dont drink either really, so i cant say what they would and wouldnt like LMAO but i know at least that much is true:)

I won't say that they're a victim. They've had like One Bad Thing Happen To Them. The guy's completely lost where they are and they're stuck within themself and what to do and how to go back home. Things hurt but things get better. It's just how the cycle of life goes on, right?

But that doesn't mean that life for them continues without violence. It keeps happening. It keeps going and it gets worse, but somehow they'll make it out of here. It gives them a reason to leave this place, right? Right.

it does suck because i really love a lot of game mechanics and games put under the "cozy" label (puzzle stuff, farming, organizing, menial tasks, walking sims) but the actual marketing buzzword "cozy" makes my hackles raise up like im a feral cat. and if you say the word "wholesome" to me i am actively running away

I dig your hc for Kieran. I think thats probably the best way to approach him overall. I dont think its up for debate that hes autistic. Like the signs are all there. My baby brain looks at Carmine and sees an aloof person with pretty heavy communication issues (ie. hearing loss). Also like mini hc that Carmines autistic and probably secretly an early 2000s y2k girl (think like the type that used to gush over baby-g(i think thats the name?) In middle schools. Like completely pastel coded).
