Clint: So, you and Nat had an early night last night, huh, Cap?
Steve: Oh, actually we didn’t go to sleep until after midnight.
Tony: Yeah, we know, Capsicle. We heard, loud and clear!
Clint, Tony, Wanda, Yelena, Sam and Bucky all chuckle.
Steve: Oh, yeah, walked right into that one. That won’t go away any time soon!

Freddy's Soundproof Tickle Trap
Gregory climbs into Freddy's stomach hatch just like normal. Only, Freddy had recently gotten a new upgrade. When Gregory is encouraged to try it out, he is quite taken aback by the new upgrade. Is it strange? Or is it rather fun?
This fanfic was suggested to be by 🌺 anon! 🌺 anon, I hope you enjoy! I also wanna dedicate this fanfic to my boyfriend, @frickin-mikie. Love you, Mikie!
Gregory walked beside Freddy, holding his hand. The two boys were walking around the pizzaplex for a while, allowing Gregory the chance to walk off the pizza he had just eaten. The boy looked up at Freddy, feeling himself growing tired. “Freddy…” Gregory muttered. “I’m getting tired.”
Freddy looked at Gregory. “That’s okay.” Freddy replied. “Would you like to take a break inside my tummy?” Freddy asked.
Gregory smiled and nodded. “Sure.” He replied, letting go of his hand. Freddy opened the stomach hatch, allowing Gregory to hop inside his stomach. Gregory settled himself inside the stomach hatch before the doors closed. Now, Gregory was able to see what Freddy was seeing as he walked around.
“Where would you like to go, Superstar?” Freddy asked.
Gregory thought for a moment. “I…think I want to go to the Fazcade.” Gregory replied. “I have some high scores I want to beat.” Gregory told him.
Freddy nodded and walked himself and Gregory to the escalators. He stepped up to the escalators and stood there while Gregory watched as the escalator raised them up. “Are you feeling better, Gregory?” Freddy asked.
“Yeah, I feel better already!” Gregory replied.
Freddy smirked to himself as he reached the top of the escalator to the second floor. He walked past the entrance to the Roxy Raceway, and past the Bakery, with Carl the cupcake and the words [Let’s Eat!] imprinted on the wall.
Gregory smiled as Freddy walked by the bakery. Even though the bakery was closed, the bakery was still emitting smells of cupcakes, icing, and cupcakes with icing. And all the smells were moving its way through the stomach hatch cracks, and right up to Gregory’s nose! They smelled so good! Gregory could feel his mouth start to water at the smell alone. Maybe when it’s morning again, he can get himself a cupcake.
Freddy walked up to the next escalator, and headed up. He stayed still on the escalator, feeling it raise them both up. Gregory smiled and watched as the escalator brought them up, and up, and up to the third floor.
“Hey Gregory. Did you know that I got a new upgrade recently?” Freddy asked.
Gregory tilted his head. “You did?” Gregory clarified.
“I did. I got some new parts two days ago.” Freddy told him.
Gregory smiled. “What did you get updated?” Gregory asked.
Freddy smile. “Take a moment to look for the blue button on the inside of my stomach. When you find it, click it.” Freddy told him.
Gregory nodded and looked around. Located on the right side of the stomach, was a light blue, brightly lit button. Gregory pushed it and waited. “Now what?” Gregory asked.
“Now sit back and let the arms take over.” Freddy said.
Right at that moment, a group of four mechanical hands emerged from the back of Freddy’s stomach. Gregory stared at the mechanical hands that were glowing in the dark with neon stripes moving down the steel arms. Gregory brought his hand up to one of the hands, and touched it with his small finger for only a second…
And then, the mechanical arms all moved themselves to Gregory’s sides and armpits, quickly tickling him. Gregory squeaked and tried to wiggle around, but he couldn’t really move much. “EEEEhehehehe! Whaahahaha?” Gregory asked, confused.
Freddy smirked as he walked through the third floor. “Ticklish, Gregory?” Freddy asked.
“Yehehehess! Ihi’m very tihihicklihish! Hahahaha!” Gregory told him.
“How many tickles do you think you can handle?” Freddy asked curiously.
“Ihihi dohon’t knohohow how to ahanswer thahahat!” Gregory told him.
Freddy chuckled. “Answer in minutes. 3 minutes? 5 minutes? 15 minutes? 45 minutes?” Freddy clarified.
Gregory closed his arms around the mechanical arms, hoping and praying it would stop them from tickling. But the tickling didn’t even slightly lessen, let alone stop. They just kept on skittering, and dancing on his vulnerable armpits.
“Kitchy kitchy koo.” Freddy teased.
“Whyhyhyhyhy?!” Gregory asked.
“Because it’s funny! That’s why!” Freddy reacted. “Now tell me: what are some other tickle spots I should tickle?” Freddy asked next.
Gregory shook his head. “Ihihi dohohon’t know!” Gregory replied.
“You don’t know your own tickle spots?!” Freddy asked. “Or are you lying to me to get out of the tickles?” Freddy asked next. “Because either way, I’m determined to find more tickle spots on you.” Freddy told him.
Gregory squealed and tried to pull the mechanical hands off himself. But that was like pulling on a chain! It was super durable, and therefore impossible to break.
“Don’t think about breaking my new mechanical hands, Gregory. You will have to pay for them if they break from your pulling.” Freddy told him as he walked by the Mazercise area.
Getting the hint, Gregory paused his pulling and struggle. He started to just sit back and laugh as the mechanical hands slowly tickled him to bits.
“If you ever need a break, please let me know. I would be happy to let you rest.” Freddy told him.
“Ohohokahahay.” Gregory replied.
As Freddy reached the escalator again, the mechanical hands had switched to tickling the belly and the boy’s hips. Gregory was laughing a bit less now, but still laughing quite a bit. And despite all of Gregory’s laughter and squeaks, no one could hear him. The belly, as it turns out, is completely soundproof. Whether this was intentional, no one knew.
Gregory didn’t really know this yet, but Freddy’s stomach was soundproof, meaning Gregory technically couldn’t really call for help. But that didn’t mean no one could hear him. Freddy was still able to hear him perfectly well. So, Gregory wasn’t completely alone. But whether Freddy would actually listen to him, that’s another story.
Gregory was able to look up at Freddy’s point of view just in time to see where Freddy was going. He watched as Freddy walked off the escalator and over to the Fazcade. Freddy walked through the entrance, using his hand to open the gate doors. Then, Freddy headed to the arcade area.
As Freddy overlooked the Fazcade, he made the mechanical hands stop tickling Gregory inside. Gregory let out breaths of relief as he took in the cold air that vented through Freddy’s door hatches. “Alright, Gregory. We’re here.” Freddy told him as he opened up his stomach doors.
Gregory lifted his head and his index finger up. “One sec…” He muttered before dropping his hand and his head down to the floor of the stomach hatch.
Freddy let out a few chuckles at Gregory’s reaction, before looking inside his stomach. “You okay, Superstar?” Freddy asked.
Gregory was breathing somewhat heavily. He huffed a bit. “F…Fine.” Gregory replied eventually.
“Good.” Freddy responded, looking up at the Fazcade. There were literally hundreds of games to play…And Gregory was quickly growing excited. Gregory hopped out of Freddy’s stomach hatch and ran to the different games.
“Hey Freddy! What’s your favorite arcade game here?” Gregory asked. Freddy thought for a moment and looked at the different names. BB’s Air Adventure…Rad Rmoda…Space Caddy…Dino Shock…
Then, Freddy smiled. “I think my favorite arcade game here…is either Tower Tippers, or Zombonnie.” Freddy told him.
“Oooooh! Cool!” Gregory reacted. He ran up to a specific arcade game and stood in front of it. “My favorite game is Mega Duel.” Gregory said before looking at the beginning screen. He pulled out his wallet, put a quarter into the slot, and started by selecting his character. Without even a thought, Gregory chose the viking-looking guy.
With the game screen open, the countdown started.
[3…2…1…FIGHT!]
Gregory quickly began to fight the character on the screen in a 1-on-1 duel. He used his character’s giant axe to hit his opponent with. He would also kick the opponent with its booted feet…and as a special move, Gregory’s character would grab the opponent, lift him up by his shirt, and headbutt it 5 times in a row with the viking helmet before dropping the opponent. It was awesome! It looked awesome too!
“Yes…YES! YEEEESSS!” Gregory shouted as he beat the opponent! The opponent visibly passed out, and the words [FINISH] came up. A side character came up to the dueling area, and raised the viking’s hand up. “ØDGER WINS!” The strong, mighty voice declared.
Gregory cheered and threw his fists up in the air. “WOOOO! ØDGER IS THE WINNER!” Gregory yelled.
Freddy laughed and watched as Gregory ran to another arcade game.
[an hour later:]
Gregory ran up to Freddy, visibly annoyed. “I’m bored…” He complained.
Freddy chuckled. “There are hundreds of games here, Gregory.” Freddy told him. “How could you be bored?”
Gregory sighed. “I played most of them.” Gregory told him. “I wanna do something new.” Gregory said. “Like your stomach tickle thing. That’s new and fun.” Gregory admitted.
Freddy looked down at his stomach…before looking at Gregory and pointed to his stomach. “You think the mechanical arms upgrade is fun?” Freddy asked.
“It is.” Gregory replied. “It’s 10 times more fun than all these games combined.” Gregory told him.
Freddy blinked and pointed to the Mega Duel arcade machine. “...You were screaming out of excitement when you played your first arcade game.” Freddy reminded him.
“I know. But did I show that much excitement for any of the other games?” Gregory asked.
“...Not really.” Freddy responded as he lowered his hands down. “So…you wanna try it again?” Freddy asked.
Gregory’s lips grew a great big smile almost immediately. “Yes.” He replied with pure confidence.
Freddy smirked and opened his stomach hatch for him. Gregory climbed into the stomach hatch and got comfortable as the doors closed in front of him. Gregory smiled and watched as the mechanical hands left Freddy’s spine and started to wiggle its nimble, tiny, metal fingers.
Gregory couldn’t help the nervous giggle of anticipation that left his mouth. It was going to be a little bit difficult to stay still with those four glow-in-the-dark hands wiggling its fingers at him. Gregory then opened his arms as much as he could, to allow the arms free access to his armpits.
The mechanical hands happily took the offer and shoved themselves into Gregory’s open armpits. Gregory instinctually closed his arms against his sides and bursted out giggling and laughing right away. “EEEEHEHEheheheheheheeee!” Gregory laughed. The other two mechanical hands decided to go for his belly near his belly button, squishing it in and out like his belly button was a tiny mouth.
Freddy smiled and started to walk out of the Fazcade. He headed to the down escalator, and stepped onto a step. He slowly went down to the third floor, taking almost the same route as they did getting to the Fazcade. Freddy soon stepped off the escalator and walked through the Monty Golf catwalks.
Gregory was giggling and wiggling around like a little wiggle worm the whole time he was being tickled. Even though the stomach hatch was a bit of a tight squeeze, it was still big enough for Gregory to move his hands, his head and his middle around a bit.
While Gregory was still being tickled, Freddy had stopped moving. He silently used his mind to bring out a camera that was secured inside his stomach, with night vision automatically on it. He mentally clicked the record button, before going back to walking through the third floor of the Pizzaplex.
Freddy headed past the Mazercise and prize counter, past the Superstarcade and past the little El Chip’s joint. Then, Freddy headed to the next down escalator. He stepped onto it and rode down, watching as more of the second floor came into view.
“EHEhehehehe! Ihihihit’s sohohoho cohohohool!” Gregory reacted. “Ihihihi lohove thihihihis!” Gregory admitted.
Freddy smiled, mentally looking at the camera’s view. “That’s great, Superstar! We’re almost to the second floor.” Freddy told him.
“Ohohokahahahay.” Gregory replied.
Freddy stepped off the escalator and looked around at the Bakery and the Roxy Raceway.
“Wahahahait! Cahahan wehehe stohop ahat the bahahahakeryhyhy?” Gregory asked.
Freddy froze in place and turned to the bakery. He smirked. “Sure!” Freddy replied. “I bet there’s frozen cupcake mixes in the freezer right now, that we could bake and frost for you.” Freddy told him. Freddy walked up to the bakery and stopped the mechanical hands inside his stomach. Gregory physically relaxed inside Freddy’s stomach, breathing slightly heavily. He wasn’t really tickled for very long, thankfully. Freddy was surprisingly fast getting through the Pizzaplex considering how heavy he really is.
Freddy then opened up the doors to his stomach, allowing Gregory to get out. Gregory pulled himself up and hopped out of Freddy’s body. Freddy turned on the conveyor belts and put a single batch of frozen cupcake mix into the bakery conveyor belts. Slowly, the belts cooked the cupcakes, cooled down the cupcakes, decorated the cupcakes, put sprinkles on the cupcakes, and revealed the finished cupcakes out of the large mouth of the large pink cupcake statue. Freddy gave Gregory a cupcake on a paper plate. “There you go, buddy. Some sweets for your tickles.”
Gregory giggled and took the plate. “Thank you!” Gregory said.
And with a proud smile, Gregory removed the bottom half of the cupcake, placed it onto the top half, and ate it like a cupcake sandwich with the icing in the middle. His big smile and his hums of pleasure told Freddy that the cupcake was delicious and worth the wait.
I just wanna take a moment to say the following: Happy Valentines Day to all the single-pringles, the dating babies, the engaged soon-to-be's, the married couples, the fammy-jammys, the grinchy bitches, and the platonically shippable BFF's! Love, whether it's platonic, sexual or intimate, is in the air and ready to make even Charlie Brown come out of his shell for once! But of course, love is not for everyone, and I completely get it. So I also wish those who just hate Valentines day, a good average Tuesday.

Hello *waves* Since you wanted asks ... I'm curious, what are your top 3 Joseph Mawle characters? And what makes him so special in your eyes? Cheers!
Those are awesome questions! I suck at explaining my thoughts, sometimes I feel I don’t even know what they ARE exactly and I tend to give too much of a backstory, but I'll try my best.
May be the second question first; What makes him so special in your eyes?
I'm from Germany, and though there are some good shows, I always find the actors performances lacking. I can 'feel' them acting, instead of 'being' the characters. No matter how good and experienced an actor is. It must be the German acting and directing culture, or may be the language, because when German actors are in international productions, they are so much better. Therefore, I tend to be very sensitive to people’s performances being natural.
I think Joseph Mawle is one of the most 'naturalistic' performers that I've ever seen. I can feel him 'be' that character. I think his 'disability' is what has let him grow into this, being hard of hearing and dyslexic. I think he's a master at non-verbal communication, and he conveys so much emotion through facial expressions and body language even in very fleeting moments, and it gives his characters so much depth. I think he's also forced to be very conscious of intonation, so every word carries very thought-out emotional meaning. In both cases you might not even catch it, but unconsciously it influences you. He's said himself that he takes longer to read and learn lines and I guess also to do research into a new character. I would also guess he therefore has to additionally use all other senses available to him very intensively to do so, and I think that can force an actor to get even more emotionally involved. I think that is reflected in the performances that I have seen so far, and it makes for an even more immersive experience of that story. It seems that he completely melts into his roles. It's so intense, you can't look away when he's on screen.
I also think the fact that he seems to avoid the limelight intentionally nowadays by more often than not choosing side characters or main ones in very niche genres, shows that he chooses his vocation for the sake of the art of acting itself, of wanting to tell and also experience that specific story arc of that specific character. He does not want to be side-tracked by anything else. This of course applies to many performers, but coupled with the above element, it makes for a very potent mix.
Therefore, I also think it is imperative to include many, many more people with 'disabilities' in any kind of art. It will make art bloom in full and reach its inherent potential of giving a unique kind of life to society.
I could say many, many more things about this unique individual, but I'll shut up … for now.
Now onto the first question: What are your top 3 Joseph Mawle characters?
HARD!!! So UNFAIR!!!
So far I've seen him in: Sir Gadabout, Soundproof, Silent Witness, The Secret Life of Mrs. Beeton, Persuasion, Merlin, Sometimes the Moon is Velvet, Murder on the Orient Express, Made in Dagenham, Women in Love, The Cold Light of Day, Twelve, In the Heart of the Sea, Ripper Street, A Winter's Tale, Game of Thrones, Troy - Fall of a City, Mr. Jones, Land's End, the music video to 'Behold the Hurricane', the TOYOTA commercial, the documentary 'Words of the Titanic' and The Rings of Power.
WOW! I did not realise how much I already HAVE seen. And still there is SO much to STILL see!
Special mentions beforehand: Captain Harry Harville from 'Persuasion' (2007). It was the first role I ever saw him in, back in ca. 2009. He has a special place in my heart. Sir Tificate from 'Sir Gadabout - The worst Knight in the Land', because I just LOVE the fact that he was part of a children’s show, and I'd found it, unexpectedly, VERY entertaining. AND Michael from 'Land's End'. That performance. The eyeliner. Bronski Beat's 'Smalltown Boy' is finally a permanent fixture on my favorite songs playlist.
In no particular order … or … may be yes … or no …
Detective Inspector Jedediah Shine (Ripper Street Seasons 2 & 5)
While only the first season existed, I'd loved Bennet Drake, such a sweety, but the MOMENT Jedediah arrived on screen when the second season came along I was HOOKED. HOOKED I tell you! He was SO fascinating! Such a bastard, so self-assured, so confident and stylish. He also had some of the best lines I ever heard in any series. He seemed vulnerable and such a hard ass at the same time. And he TERRIFIED me! I'd never been terrified of any fictional character THAT intensely before. I just didn't know what he would decide to do next. I wanted him to lose and win at the same time. SUCH a roller coaster ride of emotions. An amazing performance. - And I am SO not a fan of the bulky kind of man, but DAMN…!
Dean Whittingham (Soundproof)
What he managed to do here is special. Not only to him, since it was his breakout role, but his execution of the depiction of the 'disability' of being deaf. He was praised in an article written by a deaf person who saw the movie. That is a feat. This story was also a roller coaster ride of feelings. Is Dean the murderer or not? Experiencing WITH him the frustration and helplessness of being dependent on another person translating while being accused and interviewed by police. There is a scene where he does suddenly verbalise his frustration because he is SO desperate, and the way he was able to produce that 'sound' was AMAZEBALLS! I fell in love with Joe’s talent all over again.
Adar (The Rings of Power)
I've loved the design of the Uruks ever since I saw 'The Fellowship of the Ring' back in 2002, but to feel FOR and identify WITH them took the appearance of Adar. I think it was only at the beginning of last year, that I read that Joseph was a part of The Rings of Power, and I'd been excited about it long before that, but this information just increased my excitement by a MASSIVE amount. I was not disappointed. Adar is by far my absolute favourite character of the show, and it's in no small part because of Mr. Mawle’s embodiment of him. The moment he was on screen and I saw those tears in his eyes when 'saying' goodbye to Magrot … I was IN LOVE! I KNEW that this storyline would be something special and unique, and I am so happy that Joe was a part of that. There is still so much mystery around who he used to be, and so many interesting theories about what will happen to/with him, that I am still HEARTBROKEN about the recast. The coming together, the amalgamation of THAT character with THAT artist was a chemical reaction that resulted in a unique and very impactful experience.
There you have it.
End of my two-and-a-half page essay. Ooops … sorry, not sorry.

how to make a room soundproof
how to make a room soundproof
how to make a room soundproof how to make a room soundproof How to Soundproof a Room for professional musicians and dubbers who need perfect room soundproofing environments. Soundproofing is, in many cases, a must: to get along with the neighbors – and avoid disturbing them with amplifiers, fitness equipment, and other annoying sounds – and to find the right concentration in the home office. What are the affordable and efficient methods for room soundproofing?
Find out if and when you can opt for DIY.
Soundproofing techniques.
how to soundproof a room Multiple solutions exist to shield an environment from external noise and prevent the spread of internal sounds. The choice depends on the budget and the specific need: is the goal to protect privacy or avoid neighborhood disputes? Shield the sound of the electric guitar or the vibrations produced by the DJ set? Let’s explore how to soundproof a room and the required materials, depending on the specific case.
Insulate doors and windows- Pay attention, first of all, to the fixtures and try to “plug” every possible crack. For the door, you can use a simple draft excluder or a wooden shim. If you want, you can use sound-absorbing curtains to insulate the windows or, even better, install high-performance seals and glass.
Use insulating panels- How to soundproof a room without spending a fortune? The cheapest option is to install acoustic panels in full view. Depending on the use – walls, floor, or ceiling – they will have different characteristics and costs.
Make a double partition- This technique essentially consists in building a double wall against the wall and is particularly suitable for soundproofing the bedroom. However, it is a rather demanding and expensive masonry work.
Use furniture to soundproof- A quick way to insulate a room at no cost is to place shelves, bookcases, sofas, and other furniture in strategic places. Creating extra thickness along the walls – and at the corners of the room – allows you to deaden sounds (of course, without providing complete sound insulation). I have had chronic migraines for eight years now. Other than head pain I regularly have extreme photophobia/light sensitivity and sounds sensitivity with my chronic migraine. I recently started using red tinted (FL-41 (the specific tint my neurologist suggested)) glasses to help with my light issues. They make a notable positive difference for me, woo!!
However, when it comes to my sound sensitivity, I get very overwhelmed and overstimulated by the simplilest and smallest of noises. For example, my fish tank bubbling or my ceiling fan being to loud. Not to mention any loud sounds (ie my dogs barking or watching any movies really) send stabbing/shooting pain through my head. I've tried earplugs (the squishy foam ones and the reusable silicone ones) and sound proof over the ear headphones, but both lead to too much pressure either in my ears (ear plugs) or on my head (head phones) which increases my migraine pain.
Does anyone have any suggestions or brands to try for noise cancelation that you think might work? I'll honestly try anything at this point.

Are Blackout Curtains Better than Room Darkening Curtains?
When it comes to choosing curtains for your home, there are various options available to suit your needs. Two popular choices are blackout curtains and room darkening curtains. While they may sound similar, there are notable differences between the two. In this article, we will explore whether blackout curtains are better than room darkening curtains, focusing on the benefits of custom blackout curtains and blackout noise reduction curtains.
Blackout curtains are specifically designed to block out light and provide maximum darkness in a room. They are made with thick, opaque fabrics that prevent light from passing through, even during the brightest hours of the day. The primary purpose of blackout curtains is to create a completely dark environment, making them ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, or any space where you desire complete darkness for better sleep or to enhance the viewing experience in a home theater.
Custom blackout curtains offer the advantage of being tailored to fit your specific window dimensions and decor. They can be custom-made to match your existing interior design and can provide a seamless, cohesive look to your space. By opting for custom blackout curtains, you can achieve both functionality and style, ensuring that the curtains not only block out light but also complement your overall aesthetic.
Another benefit of blackout curtains is their ability to reduce noise levels, making them blackout noise reduction curtains. The dense, thick fabric used in blackout curtains helps to absorb sound and minimize outside noise, creating a quieter and more peaceful environment. This is particularly advantageous if you live in a noisy area or have disruptive external noises that can affect your comfort or sleep quality.
On the other hand, room darkening curtains are designed to dim the room rather than block out all light. They use slightly lighter fabrics and may have small gaps or spaces between the fabric fibers, allowing some light to filter through. Room darkening curtains are suitable for spaces where you want to reduce the amount of light without completely eliminating it, such as living rooms or home offices. They provide a certain level of privacy while still allowing some natural light to enter the room.
The choice between blackout curtains and room darkening curtains depends on your specific needs and preferences. If you require complete darkness, maximum privacy, and noise reduction, then blackout curtains, including custom blackout curtains and blackout noise reduction curtains, are the better option. They provide superior light-blocking capabilities and offer the added benefit of reducing noise levels. On the other hand, if you prefer a softer lighting effect or want to maintain some visibility to the outside, room darkening curtains can be a suitable choice.
In conclusion, while blackout curtains and room darkening curtains serve different purposes, blackout curtains, including custom blackout curtains and blackout noise reduction curtains, offer distinct advantages in terms of light-blocking capabilities and noise reduction. They create a truly dark environment and provide enhanced privacy, making them ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, or spaces where complete darkness is desired. Consider your specific requirements and choose the curtains that best align with your needs and preferences to create the desired ambiance in your home.
