(Side note: Soul Cards use an unique touch painting technique developed by Deborah. I recently took a painting course, taught by one of her students where we got to learn this technique. It was a beautiful experience where we got to explore art from a different place within the Soul - allowing only your intuition to paint - Thanks Jenn and Elaina for hosting!). . Today’s message: There is trust that needs to be placed in the unknown. If you look at the Soul Card, I see a woman on the right holding her cup up to the universe. Is she replenishing her cup or is she releasing her manifestation to the universe? I feel like the collective is doing both! You need to fill your cup first before you can release it. To the bottom right on the Soul card, I see a woman with her arms bent and hands holding her face. Almost in despair. I feel like this is the worried and stressful energies we carry about not knowing how a situation will play out. This is where you need to release control and trust in that unknown. Focus on filling your cup to feel whole again and soon you will be able to manifest those desires and see the universe filling in the details. I planned on posting my “Temperance” tarot study today but spirit/intuition/whatever you want to call it compelled me to write this post instead.

What does it mean to fully come into your power? To (and as much as I hate this phrase, it applies) live your best life? I am a libra, raised by immigrants who did the best they could with what they had. This means, as a child, I barely spoke and was on constant damage-control mode. It also means that, as an adult, I am now unlearning decades of trauma wrapped in the guise of tradition and social mores.

I have *almost* always taken the middle ground, very conscious of everyone else’s needs and emotions and never wanting to rock the boat. Naturally, this left me with a mixed bag of overall shitty feelings. Sadness, resentment, guilt, feeling unfulfilled, all of that. Until now.

I had a very long, very candid conversation with my favorite #bruja in the entire world, @thesolerebel the other day. We discussed seemingly innocuous experiences that we each had, which quickly turned into an epic phone call of discovery and self-realizations (because let’s be honest, what kind of friends do you have if they’re not helping you becoming the absolute best version of yourself and vice versa?).

This is our time. This is a high-energy week. That doesn’t necessarily mean “exciting,” in this case I’m referring to the amount of information being transmitted and received. This translates to emotions, epiphanies, healing, all the nitty gritty good stuff setting us up for our future. There’s a full moon coming up on Thursday so be prepared for even more harsh truths coming your way, if you haven’t gotten the message already. This is the last stop before we jump on the transformation train. If you’re not ready to let go of bad habits and all the shit that’s holding you back, you’re getting left behind. #sorrynotsorry but this is a real-life tough love scenario, and we gotta rip the bandaids off ourselves.

With this new information, with this clearer sight, you cannot doubt yourself; that’s why it is imperative to strengthen yourSELF. You are your first ally, and your greatest strength. Do the work! Use this time and spring energy to work on your game plan. Our habits now decide the direction our lives will take for the next 20 years.

All this to say, be your truest self. While that’s easier said than done, it doesn’t make it any less true. You got this 💜
