He screams an unpredictable lover. Like I could see him getting mad at you over something small but then being literally the sweetest person ever next time you see him. Like the passion and anger he has when on the race track could become a problem in his relationships. I feel like a relationship with him could involve a bit of “do you love me, want me, hate me?” Especially Max when first started f1 fits this, I think he’s matured a lot since then and Max today doesn’t apply as much, but early Red Bull Max 100% gives the energy of this song imo.

The first driver that came to mind listening to this song was Charles. Like I hate to say it, but I see him reusing all of the romantic things he did with his exes with a new girlfriend. He would not be creative enough to come up with new ideas lol, like “everything is all reused.” Also I can see him doing “car rides in Malibu” like in his latest YouTube video and also telling “her you love her in between the chorus and the verse” since he likes music so much. I hate to say it, but I see him leaving to focus solely on his career. Which would lead to lines like “I watched as you fled the scene.” He would be the one to leave and would be blunt about it, leaving you feeling like a crime scene. Also come on, the line “I crossed my heart as you crossed the line,” is honestly so formula 1 coded and I can see Lewis crossing the line both physically while racing but also crossing the line in a relationship. This man would be so hard to leave and you would have been trying so hard to hold on while he was pulling away from you, like “all the things I did just to call you mine.” Ugh it hurts to say it but that’s what I’m imagining for this song :(

It’s giving Danny Ric being dropped by McLaren. “All I did was try my best, this the kind of thanks I get?” Like Danny definitely suffered at McLaren and this song screams the angst that must have come from that. Just imagine him blasting this in the car leaving his last day there. He’s “got a broken ego, broken heart” after all that. Could also relate to his hand injury, like with “ego crush is so severe, god it’s brutal out here.” Had to have been brutal for him to get his dream back just to have it kind of crushed again when he hurt his hand. Danny Ric and brutal just fits so well imo

Ok because if Yuki ever moved on, he would be the ex I would want to be happy. But like look at that man, I would be hella jealous but want the best for him in life. Out of the 2019 rookies, Alex has got the worst deal. I can imagine that he would constantly be comparing himself to Lando and George who have both have a lot more podiums than he has. Also having a teammate like Max at Red Bull also must have led to a lot of thoughts about him not measuring up. The line “comparison is killing me” just screams Alex Albon. Out of all of these drivers, he gets the most compared to teammates and the other drivers who joined the grid when he did. If anyone here is jealous, it has to be Alex.

Logan Sargeant

Logan absolutely embodies this song and I will die on that hill. He fits the physical description for “blond with eyes of salt.” I feel like Logan has had to “unlearn all of their hatred” more than a lot of other drivers, as he did have a not so great season and received a lot of negativity. I actively hope Logan is ok and that he is able to be happy despite his bad start in f1. He deserves so much better and that is exactly what this song is about.

Hi! I’m so glad you enjoy their designs! I’ve been working on that drawing for so freaking long lol.

Their favorite music genres would be mostly punk rock or just in general rock.

Bendy and Boris preferring some of the older rock music dating back to Elvis Presley to current. They appreciates some of the grunge from the 90s too. Bendy also listens to a lot of more modern techno and pop music. Especially ones that are strong with the more computer created sound effects, heavy beat drops, and bass. I’m not sure how to describe it but songs that aren’t only instruments but also includes computer created sound effects, that sort of thing.

Cuphead listens to a wide variety of music depending on his mood. He listens to general rock genres but he also appreciates songs about things he relates to on a personal level. It doesn’t always matter the vibe, but if the lyrics strike a chord with him he’ll add it to his listen playlist (this is also in my Cyberpunk AU lol, Cup just has the same music taste throughout my AUs) He also loves indie and alternative rock.

Mugman seems like the kind of guy to listen to musicals. He’s a romantic, so of course he’d listen to a lot of Hamilton, Justin Paul and Benj Pasek; Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Disney songs. And I guess in general any songs about love, romance, and that have a good vibe.

No competition so far that I can think of. Idk… maybe the butcher gang??!?!? I dunno!?!? There’s not a whole lot of groups that aren’t taken in IM that I can turn into a band.

okay. ok. its fun to make fun of lmm but im going to try to be serious here. the thing about hamilton, and the Woke Left may cancel me for this, is that lin manuel miranda is pretty undeniably the rightful inheritor of sondheims legacy. him and jason robert brown are the only two people working today (or barely working) who write lyrics that are as complex, character and setting-specific, and delightful on the ear as sondheim’s. hamilton uses leitmotifs in an almost peerless way in the modern musical theatre. show-off triple and quadruple rhymes galore, all of them warranted. i was def part of the initial hype (i was 14 and obsessed with aaron sorkin give me a BREAK) and tbh i probably wouldnt even care abt its politics if it werent so popular and profitable and long-running.

BUT while it may be good craft re: the conventions of musical theatre, its pretty bad craft re: the conventions of rap. its just too corny for anyone who enjoys good rap to take particularly seriously.

That Would Be Enough

Jake was coming home today, after months of not being home, and I had some big news. More or so my body had big news. My belly had grown a bit, and left me with a bump. We're having a baby. I know I should've told Jake when I knew, but the boys and I had this whole plan on how to tell him today. Danny made sure they got an early flight home, Sam made sure I stayed home for the most part, and Josh made sure Jake was clueless. I woke up to my alarm at 3:30 in the morning, went and showered and got dressed. Putting on some leggings and a t-shirt of Jakes he had left behind for me. My phone rang shortly after I had put on my shirt. “Hey Josh!” I said happily, “hey dear, we just grabbed our baggage, Jakes in the bathroom then we'll drop him off at home. Give my niece or nephew some love and we will see you soon” Josh replied. Nerves were setting in, Jake and I had been together for years now, but something in me said this wouldn't go well. But I know Jake, and I know he loves me and he wouldn't just dip after finding out. 

I heard a car door shut, followed by the keys jingling in the door. Taking a deep breath, I got off the couch and walked to the door. Jake noticed the lights on, which he wasn't too surprised, his baby always was awake when he got home. He walked through the door and dropped everything and pulled me into a hug, “god i've missed you baby.” Jake whispered in my ear. He let go and looked me up and down, “how long have you known?” he asked me. “I told your brothers a month ago.” “You should've told me baby-” I cut him off, “I knew you would’nt just end the tour, but look how lucky we are to be alive.” Jake smiled at me, “I can't believe it, a baby?!” I nodded at him. “God I cannot wait, do you know what it is?” I grabbed his hand and led him to the guest room, where he soon saw the walls were a dark blue, with a hint of sky blue. “Its a boy, Jakey. We're having a mini you” I said to Jake. He smiled at me, and pulled me into a gentle kiss. “That would be enough for me. You, me, and our son.”

The Doctor didn’t leave you alone in the console room very often, last time he did, when he had to grab his sonic that he left in his room, he came back to you pressing random buttons out of pure boredom. Today when he left you, he came back to an oddly familiar song screaming through the TARDIS in speakers he didn’t even know you knew about.

How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence impoverished in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar?

He furrows his brows when he listens to the lyrics pouring through his TARDIS and at the center of room was you, singing, bopping your head, and doing what the Doctor can only believe was dancing.

You don’t notice him enter or watch you for a moment with a goofy grin on his face before he turns down the music. You stop dancing and turn to scowl at the Doctor with your hands on your hips.

Before you can complain about no longer hearing your music, the Doctor chuckles. “You know that show is highly inaccurate.”

You blink at him, clicking your tongue against the top of your mouth at his statement. “What?”

“It’s inaccurate.” You thought he’d complain about you blaring music in his special little box but he’s talking about the accuracy about the musical Hamilton?

“It’s for fun.” You remind him. “It’s a musical.”

“That’s inaccurate.”

It didn’t seem like the Doctor was willing to let the idea of Hamilton being inaccurate go as you roll your eyes and stick your tongue at him. “Oh, what would you know?” There was no sass in return from the Doctor, there was a smirk, but no sass and you knew that could only mean one thing. You sigh and let your shoulders hang. “You were there, weren’t you?”

“Well, all of time and space, why not?” He shrugs.

You narrow your eyes at him, honestly unsure whether he would visit America in the late 1700s however you wouldn’t put it past him. “Well I still don’t care. It’s a good musical.”

You join by his side and turn up the music, much louder than you had it earlier. The Doctor frowns, watching you begin to sing along with the lyrics. “Y/N-“

“Sorry Doctor!” Your shouts were barely audible over Hamiltons voice. “I can’t hear you! There’s music!” You smile at him and begin to spin in place, letting out a small squeal when it changes to your favorite song.

At your excitement, the Doctor can no longer keeping frowning as his lips quirk up and the lyrics he’s somehow learned from you, slowly slip from his lips when he bops his head. Your eyes widen and you do your best to convince the Doctor to sing and dance with you and, in just a few short minutes, the Doctor and you were performing a duet, running and dancing around the TARDIS to the third song in a row the Doctor has dubbed his favorite.
