Y/n was trying to convince herself to turn back around, lose the nerve she got after the girls had convinced her to talk to Max but now that she was in front of his room, she felt like the world was closing in on her. She had to take a deep breath before raising her hand and knocking on his door before she really did bolt.

She couldn’t believe why she was there, over a kiss nonetheless. She thought she had it under control, it started causal. Staged smiles, holding hands at team events, exchanging playful banter for the cameras. But..then months passed and the line between fake and real blurred real bad. She found herself looking forward to her time with Max, laughing a little too hard at his jokes, and feeling a warmth in her chest when he smiled at her.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when the door opened up a few seconds later and Max stood there. “Hey…” she said, figuring it would be better for her to say hey first.

“Hey” he said and they stood outside his room for a few seconds, just staring at each other before he snapped out of it and opened the door wide enough for her to step in, “uh..do you want something to drink? I have soda”

“...sure” she said as she went and sat down on his couch and watched as he went to the mini fridge and grabbed a soda to hand to her, and together they popped open the cans and took a sip.

She took a few sips to make sure her throat was clear before she looked up at him, lowering the can before speaking, only for them both to speak at the same time.

“Oh- sorry you go first” she said with a head shake

“No, no you go first” he said and she stared at him for a moment before sighing and going first

“I- um..well firstly I’m sorry for being such a dick the last few days….I kissed you and I was just so scared that I had ruined our friendship that I just bolted…” she said in a nervous sort of stutter, trying to put her thoughts together to create a actual meaningful apology. “I promise, it won’t happen again”

He turned to face you, his eyes searching yours. “ruining our friendship? I kissed you back, y/n, i couldn’t help it and I remember kissing you at the party a month ago but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to make anything awkward”

Your breath caught in your throat. “Max, what are you saying…?”

“I’m saying I don’t want to be just friends or just fake partners anymore y/n” he admitted, his eyes glancing over every part of her expression. “ I want this to be real- us to be real”

You were silent for a moment, a rush of emotions causing your heart to beat like crazy. Relief, Joy, Anxiety, all mingling with the realization that he did feel the same. “I don’t want this to be fake anymore either…” she admitted as she looked at him.

Max's eyes lit up, and he moved to close the distance between them, cupping her cheeks so she’d stay looking at him. “Well…you’re going to break your promise then” he said and she laughed as she realized the promise she had just said maybe five minutes ago was already broken.

“I don’t think I’ll be torn up about it” she said with a smile and he smiled back at her before pulling her in for their third kiss, but this one was different. It carried all the unspoken emotions they both felt that they couldn’t put into words. It was no longer for the cameras, or part of an act and contract. It was real, and it had everything she didn’t even realize she needed.

As she pulled back, he rested his forehead against hers, both of them breathing heavily. "So," he said with a grin, "how about we start this thing over? For real this time."

She laughed, nodding. "I'd like that, Max. I'd like that a lot."

LaDs' Rafayel rambling — "Oceanic Nightfall" tender moments

!!!!!slight poilers ahead. I also made a comparison with Caleb after his return (*cough*, coming back from the dead - it's written in a small font if you wanna avoid reading it)

This man is so special to me, to be honest. Last night I watched one of his limited Tender Moments card, Oceanic Nightfall — and when I tell you that I was absolutely flabbergasted with how angsty it was. I saw the card's image and thought "oh, this is gonna be spicy". I was so mistaken, oh Gods 🥲

That card is anything but spicy; sure, there's a lot of tension between them in the second half of the card, my heart was doing gymnastics when she entered on him being ass naked in the bathtub with a paintbrush in his hand. I hadn't expected him to be so shameless, considering I don't think at that point they were exactly lovers (or probably just at the delicate line between friends and lovers). Not that surprising, because it's Rafayel, after all; he does act strange a lot of the time if we take into account the usual standards.

I adore the fact that MC didn't walk away and the fact that she didn't give in easily. She told him square in the face that his manipulation tactics don't go unnoticed by her and I absolutely adore that, lol. Yes, gurl, say it out loud for everyone to hear.

Also, she calls him annoying and he seems to be pleased by that. Rafayel is so pleased with the fact that she does view him differently than others.

I have to admit that his tantrum with the glass had my jaw drop to the floor because I absolutely despise such behavior — I am hater through and through of that gesture, especially since she hadn't done something deserving of such a reaction.

Let's take another scenario as a comparison: when MC throws a glass at Caleb for what he's done to her, for locking her in his apartment and being an ass with his overprotective, obsessive tendencies. I completely understand her point of view and I think he deserved it, to be frank (as someone that appreciates and loves him as a character overall). I think she should've done worse, if you ask me, but that's another story (I am a hater of controlling behavior, sorry not sorry)

Actually, Rafayel's gesture triggered me. It took me several seconds to process what happened because I couldn't believe it — to the point I'm not even sure if the glass just slipped from his hand or if he really threw it on the floor (I'll do a rerun of that card just to be sure, but I don't think I misinterpreted it).

Despite it all, that made me fall for his character even more. This is a card from the beginning of their relationship, since before they even got a chance to kiss, so I think that makes it even more interesting. In later cards and events, it is shown how complex Rafayel is; he is deeply in love with her and stops his manipulative tendencies. The only people he's cruel with have nothing to do with her. Their begining seems very abrupt and he does act like an absolute menace, like a pitiful crybaby sometimes.

Later on, these moments just end up being part of who he is as a person. I know I kind of bullied him in this post until now. Truth be told, he's very mature and he's shown as being a very wise person, regardless of his childish tantrums — and they're not even exactly childish, they're just part of a very troubled personality. He's shown taking care of MC, protecting her, giving her wise advice in a way someone very old would. His soul is, indeed, old, especially since he remembers his past lives. He's watched the world change and crumble before his eyes and he's still there, in Linkon.

Rafayel can be a child in a good way, like the time when they ran in the rain together because he never did that (he's a Lemurian, it doesn't rain underwater); in several tender moments, he encourages MC to be kinder with herself, to find herself in the small things of life, to pursue her little dreams and the bigger ones. His devotion to her is undeniable, and as time passes by, there are less and less tantrums from him. It's almost as if he's found his own emotional security and stability once she appeared in his life.

Even in this card, Oceanic Nightfall, Rafayel tells her that he's changed since she appeared in his life. She questions his strange behavior and it seems like he's a bit self destructive — that makes him such a relatable and real character.

Rafayel is full of flaws and insecurities and they make him so much more beautiful; he's perfect because of his own imperfections and I love him that way. He shows that he tries to change for the better, even if it's shown as a slow process. Also, he does that for her alone. He doesn't care about other people and I think that's very interesting. I like him a little cruel, a little heartless; he has all the rights to be, considering his life (or lives) as a Lemurian.

Also, if anyone has some thoughts about this, you can share them <3 I'd be happy to hear some more opinions on this (I know that the Rafayel girlies are down bad for him exactly because he's got a twisted personality and I wholeheartedly agree 😫)

You never liked peaches growing up. They were too sweet for you.

That was until you learned your crush, Yang Jungwon, loved peaches.

You started doing everything possible to get his attention, using peach-scented shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions, and perfumes. 

It never seemed to work.

Still, you persisted. Then came that fateful day when he finally gave you his attention.

“You smell good, like peaches,” he said, smiling at you with adorable dimples.

You thanked him, smiling enormously yourself.

After that, Jungwon started to talk to you more.

You were ecstatic. Your plan was working!

Jungwon started learning more about you, as you did him, and you two hit it off.

As you sit underneath the peach tree in your backyard, your doorbell rings.

You get up excitedly. Jungwon was here!

You invited him over to your house for the first time, and butterflies erupted in your stomach.

He looks dashing as you answer the door, his beautiful smile being the first thing you see. 

“Hey! I'm so glad you invited me over. I've been wanting to see your house to find out we only live like 10 minutes apart.”

You laugh, “I know, it's crazy.”

You give him a small house tour before leading him outside to your backyard.

“You have a peach tree? That's so cool. Can I have one?”

You extend your hand upwards, picking one off a branch and handing it to him. “You can have one whenever you want.”

He rinses it off with the garden hose before biting into it. He sighs in delight, “It's perfect, just the right amount of sweetness.”

Jungwon then looks between you and the peach before reaching his hand out to you, “Do you want a bite?”

Shoot, you didn't think he'd offer, you think to yourself. 

“Can I be honest? I don't like peaches.” You give him a sheepish smile.

He makes the cutest confused face, “I could've sworn you did. You use peach-scented everything!”

You sigh, “The truth is, Jungwon, I only started using peach-scented stuff to get your attention. I like you, and when I learned you liked peaches, I took it as an opportunity.”

It's silent for a moment before Jungwon begins to laugh.

Oh god, he thinks I'm a loser.

You pout, lightly hitting his chest, “It's not funny!”

He stops laughing after a solid minute before looking at you with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“Y/N, if you wanted my attention, you should've just talked to me!”

“I wanted to! But I was nervous, and I thought you'd blow me off.”

His face softens, “I wouldn't do that. Besides, why would I blow off the girl I like?”

Wait, what?

“You like me?” You ask, pointing to yourself.

“Yes, Y/N, I do. I have for a while. I started liking you a few months ago. I always thought you were pretty, but when you lent me those chem notes, I knew.

Then we started talking, and I fell more in love with you. And I know love is a big word, but it's genuinely how I feel.”

You stare in shock, processing his words in your mind.

He begins to shuffle his thumbs, waiting for your response. 

“Jungwon, I love you too. I love everything about you. I'm sorry I didn't come forward, but now, I feel relieved.” 

He steps forward, putting down his now-finished peach core and taking your hands into his.

“Will you be my girlfriend? My little peach hater,” he says affectionately as you giggle.

“I will! Kiss me?”

His lips meet yours, and believe it or not, you don't mind the taste of peach. It's sweet but not sickeningly so. 

As you pull away, his hands meet the sides of your face, holding it delicately.

“I know you hate them, but to me, you're like peaches, soft and sweet. I'm so lucky.”

You pull him into a hug, wrapping your arms around his neck as his wrap around your waist. “I'm the lucky one.”

warnings: hurt/comfort. i used they/them pronouns for bella (bc i see that it's what pedro uses) and it was kind of difficult bc english is not my first language so if i got anything wrong i apologize. also bella said that they don't rlly care abt pronouns so i guess if i use she/her or he/him is ok right? idk let me know in the comments.

this was based on two requests: "hi babe can you write bella ramsey x reader where reader and bella are in a relationship but reader believes bella will leave them and bella reassures reader that they love them sm" / "bella and reader have a massive fight and reader thinks it’s a breakup but then bella comes and they makeup?"

You and Bella had been together for three years and not even once you doubted that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with them. Bella was everything you’ve ever wanted. They were kind, funny, beautiful, and most importantly, they always made sure to make you feel loved. 

You knew how important their career was to them and you respected that. The Last of Us was a huge success and Bella was out a lot, doing interviews and even getting new jobs. You were so proud of them and just seeing that sparkle in their eyes was enough to make you forget any problem you had going on. 

Well, you had a few problems going on. You just released your second book and the book launch was awesome, except for a little detail. Bella wasn’t there. 

It’s okay, you thought. They were busy with work. It happens. But just because it happens doesn’t mean that it didn’t hurt a bit. Especially when you found out that they didn’t show up because of an interview. Interviews can be rescheduled. Especially when it was someone like Bella. Pedro rescheduled an interview two times a while ago just because his sister needed some help with the children. He said that family always comes first. 

It was your second book. You had been writing it for two years, working every single detail of it. It was a big deal. Maybe she didn’t see you as family, you thought. That was when all the problems became to appear. All your insecurities, all your internal conflicts. You spent the whole book launch overthinking every part of your relationship. 

When you got home, you knew Bella would be there. They had your key and asked if they could go to your place after the interview. You said yes, of course. Didn’t matter if you were slightly hurt, you just wanted to be with them. 

“Hey! How was it?”, Bella smiled when they saw you walk inside the apartment. 

“It was good”, you smiled back and gave them a big hug. “I missed you so much.” 

Bella laughed at how muffled your voice was because of the way your face was hidden on the curve of their neck. “I missed you too, darling.” 

You let them go and they gave you a quick kiss. “I’m hungry. And really, really, tired.” 

“I know. It’s why I ordered some pizza”, they pointed to the box on the center table in front of the couch. 

“Oh, you’re the best!”, you throwed your body on the comfortable couch and sighed. “Is it pepperoni?” 

“Yes...”, they sat next to you and grabbed one piece, giving it to you. 

“Thank God... I mean, I know you’re like, a hater of meat eaters, but...” 

“I’m not a hater!” 

“You are kind of a hater. It’s why I appreciate this”, you grabbed the slice of pizza. 

Bella grabbed one slice of the other pizza, the one without meat, and looked at you. You two smiled at each other and toasted the slices before eating it. 

The time went by and considering how hungry the two of you were, it didn’t take long for the pizza to disappear. Between one bite and another, you told Bella about the event. You told everything, like you wanted them to see it. You really wanted them to see it. And when Bella realized it, they felt terrible for not being there. 

“I’m so sorry I wasn’t there.” 

“You already said that”, you laughed and held their hand. 

You were with your head laid on their shoulder and you felt them kissing your hair. 

“No, I mean it.” 

You raised your head to look at Bella. “It’s fine, you were working.” 

“You’re not mad at me?” 

“No!”. 

You were a little mad, but it would pass. There was no reason to ruin that moment with a stupid argument. They were sorry, that’s all that mattered to you. 

“At least you read my book, it’s more than what my own mother did, so...”, you joked. 

But Bella didn’t laugh. In fact, they gulped. 

“You read it, right?” 

The response was the silence. All the walls you used to hide how disappointed you were collapsed right there. 

“You didn’t even read my book?”, you dropped their hand. 

“I was going to...” 

“I gave it to you, like, a month ago.” 

“I was going to read it, I swear! It’s just that there were so many things going on that I...” 

“Oh my God”, you stood up from the couch. “You really don’t care, do you?” 

“What?”, they stood up as well. “Of course I do!” 

“Yes, of course you do, but never as much as you care about your own work!” 

Both of you were angry now. Bella was feeling offended. It wasn’t like they were terrible all the time, Bella was always doing the best to make you happy. 

“Are you kidding me?” 

“No, Bella, it’s just the truth.” 

“Imagine if I told you that every time you say no when I invite you to an event, how would you feel?” 

“It’s different, Bella. You’re great at what you do.” 

“And so are you!” 

“It’s not the same thing!”, you yelled. “People love you. You’re successful.” 

“So what? You want me to not be good at my job?” 

“No, damnit! What I'm trying to tell you is that we’re different. You’re on, like, a thousand tv shows”, you pointed at her and then at yourself. “My biggest achievement was a book written three years ago and after that, all I do is sit and watch while the world around me continues to move.” 

Bella stood silent, waiting for you to finish with tears in their eyes. 

“The one thing that kept me going was this stupid plot I had in my mind during a shower, a stupid plot that I worked so fucking hard for two years. You were there, you saw it! I fucking cried myself to sleep wondering if I would ever do anything good again”, you dried your tears with the sleeve of your sweater. “And I finally did it! I did it, and it’s so good, and I wanted you to be there so you could see how good I am. I wanted to give you a reason to be proud of me!” 

When you were done talking, Bella didn’t say anything. They didn’t even look at you. 

“I think I should go”, they said. 

“You’re going to leave? Really?” 

“I just...”, they sighed. “I need to be alone now.” 

Bella gave you no time to say anything. They grabbed their bag that was on the corner table next to the door and left. 

“Yeah, that is really fucking mature, Bella!”, you yelled before the door was closed and they were gone. 

The morning after that night was awful. You and Bella never had a fight like that. You tried to call them 2 times since you woke up, but it was useless. At first, you thought they were asleep, that’s why they haven’t answer. But the day went by, the night came again, and they still gave you no answer. Talking to their mom, you found out where Bella was. 

“Locked in their room”, she said through the phone. 

“Okay, can I talk to them?”, you asked nervously. 

“Did you guys have a fight?” 

“Ah...”, you were not sure you wanted to talk about this. 

“Alright, you don’t have to tell me”, she calmed you down. “Bella asked me to say that they’re busy, if anyone called.” 

Shit, they were going to break up with you. 

“I though Pedro and Bella were supposed to be on a tv show today.” 

“Bella rescheduled.” 

Okay, so whatever Bella was doing, it was more important than you, apparently. 

“Oh...” 

Bella’s mom sighed. She knew the two of you enough to tell that something was off. 

“Honey don’t worry”, she said. “I’m sure you guys will figure this out.” 

It didn’t feel like it. 

“Okay”, you agreed. “Thank you, I'll try to call them again later.” 

“Bella loves you very much, you’ll be fine.” 

You thanked her again before hanging up. Not a second after that, you got a message from Pedro, answering one of your texts asking about Bella. 

“They didn’t say anything to me. Just that something came up and that it was urgent, so we had to reschedule the interview.” 

You couldn’t stop a tear from rolling down your cheek as you typed. 

“I think they’re gonna break up with me” 

Pedro was fast to answer that one. 

“Bella is crazy for you. Shut up.” 

You let out a sad laugh. Pedro was so sure of it that you were a bit jealous of that confidence. Bella never did that before. Honestly, it felt like it was already done. You could imagine them coming to your apartment to pick up their stuff and you could see yourself begging for them to stay. Were you being dramatic? Maybe, but it felt real. 

You laid on your couch, curled up in a ball of blankets that smelled like Bella. It was funny how much you missed them, considering that you saw each other last night. But this was different, this time they didn’t say the ‘I love you’ that they always said before leaving. No, they said ‘I need to be alone’. 

That was it? Three years of relationship thrown away because of a book. 

The sound of the doorbell brough you back to earth in a flinch. You stood from the couch and stared at the door. What if it was them? You didn’t want to hear it right now. You couldn’t handle it. Not now. 

“I know you’re in there, the lights are on.” 

Shit. It was Bella. Trying to be silent, you reached for the light switch and turned it off. 

“Did you just turn the lights off?” 

“No...”, you answered, soon closing your eyes and hating yourself for being so fucking stupid. 

With no other options, you walked to the door and opened it. 

“Why did you kill him?”, Bella asked. 

They had dark circles around their eyes and on their hands, was the book you gave them. Your book. 

“What?”, you were still trying to process it. 

Bella entered the apartment without even asking. “Why did you kill him? Do you know how sick and twisted this is?!” 

“What are you talking about?” 

“Your book!”, they pointed at it. 

You closed the door and continued to stare at them without having any idea of what was going on. “You read it?” 

“I read the first two pages last night and just couldn’t stop”, they said, gesticulating every word in excitement. “Why did you kill him? Do you know how much I cried?” 

And then you realized. She was talking about the main character on your book. 

“Well, I...” 

“I mean, do you have a problem with happy endings? This is the best book I've ever read, and you had to kill my favorite character?” 

You didn’t know what to say. “How did you finish it so fast?” 

“I was up all night.” 

Oh, so that’s why... 

“And you didn’t even think of, I don’t know, check your fucking phone?”, you yelled. “I thought you were going to break up with me!” 

Bella finally stopped talking and looked at you with confusion in their eyes. 

“Why would I break up with you? I love you.” 

You breathed in relief and closed your eyes. “You dumbass”, you whispered before wrapping your arms around their waist on a tight hug. 

Bella was still confused, but they hugged you back and ran their fingers through your hair. “I’m so sorry I made you think that.” 

You raised your head to look at them. With all the tenderness in the world, Bella touched your cheeks and kissed you on the lips. All the worries, all the sadness, it was all gone. When they pulled away, their arms were still around your neck and your faces were still close. 

“So that's what you were doing?”, you asked with the smile on your lips that Bella loved so much. They nodded. “And you cried?”, Bella nodded again. “Good.” 

Bella laughed and gave you another kiss. “I should’ve been there. And I should’ve read it the same day you gave it to me...” 

“It’s fine.” 

“Shut up, let me finish”, they interrupted, and you let out a laugh. “I am so proud of you. You’re so good at everything you do and this book...”, Bella sighed. “This book is just heartbreaking, perfect, sad, beautiful, thrilling...” 

“Yes, I got it”, you giggled, already blushing from so many compliments. 

“Exciting, original, sensational, fantastic...” 

“Okay!”, you covered their mouth with your hand. “You loved it, I get it.” 

Bella tried to say something, so you removed your hand. 

“Are we good?”, they asked. 

You answered it with another kiss. 

“Okay, I think we’re good”, Bella smiled.

You attended one of the Barça events with Pablo after you finally went public about your relationship after five months of being together in secret.

Most of his fans were very kind to you especially since you weren't trying to use his fame for yourself but lived a normal life even when everyone found out you were his girlfriend.

You were glad that Pablo put his phone on silent when he drove so that he didn't read any of those comments cause he would go crazy if he knew.

You didn't really care much abut branded clothes or shiny jewelry but when you arrived to the party, that's all you saw.

All the guys were in expensive suits, just like Pablo was and it looked so freaking good on him! All the women were either wearing Dior, Channel, Versace or some other brand I didn't even know about.

"You okay?" he asked snaking his arm around your waist and pulling you close and you just nodded faking a smile not wanting him to worry about this.

You were next to take photos and you never felt more uncomfortable. Everybody was looking at you smiling but all you thought was that they thought your dress was cheap and that you didn't belong here.

"Um..I'm sorry Pablo..I need some air" you said after the photos walking out to get some fresh air suddenly the whole room feeling stuffy and heavy. Pablo of course followed after you worried what happened.

"You feeling anxious princesa??" he said kissing your head and you just nodded your head looking at how beautiful Barcelona looked a t night from the balcony you were at.

"I'm sorry Pablo.." you said tears spilling down your cheek obviously not because you were anxious but because you felt like you didn't deserve him, like you were embarrassing him.

"I..don't belong here. I'm not rich enough..and I shouldn't have came" you said unable to keep quiet any longer really wanting to go home right now.

I chose you because even in a simple white dress, you look breathtaking to me princesa.." Pablo spoke with his hands on your hips and you smiled blushing a little.

"Mhm..now come with me and let's enjoy the party princesa!" he said and you nodded walking back inside spending truly a magical night together.

other than that, razor also feels a little unreasonably aggressive for someone who is 23. even her packmates don't seem like the type of people to immediately threaten a random person's life because her silly little best friend is fucking dead and they also have nothing to do with it. the safety tunnel survivors' situation is dire, their literal only choice to stay completely safe is camping around in the tunnels and eating people. other food sources? probably all consumed by now and they would risk their lives dearly (they are DELICATE OBJECTS mind you, just adds on to the risk even just with the parasites) by going outside. ("it's our only food source" -lava lamp) "those people can't defend themselves" NEITHER CAN THE FUCKING DELICATE OBJECTS. THEY HAVE TO BE COWARDLY OR THEY WILL DIE. they probably know that it's unethical, but they would also have 0 clue on if this apocalyptic event will ever end so what's even the point of worrying about those people's families from their perspectives? it's hopeless for them. sure, wanda COULD go outside to get food. she is a trained assassin. BUT WANDA IS BLIND. Looking back, i think one the things that brought the hater out of me the most during qsmp (regarding the players themselves and the story) was how so many decisions made, and arguments defended, based on ooc criteria.

Like, ok. I love bagi. I adore bagi. I recite prayers for bagi every night before i sleep. I am not saying bagi — or anyone else that wouldve been invited if other ppl won — shouldnt have been invited to the qsmp. But my GOD the opportunity for the election winner to chooses someone to send to what's essentially an open air PRISION is insane to me. No islander fucking WANTS to be there so WHYYYYY would they subject a loved one to the SAME TORTURE??????? (except like bbh inviting skeppy cuz whatever they have going on is kinda weird and they're both old as fuck so who cares)

It is a fun decision out of the rp. It gives the players a nice prize if they manage to win. And it could've stayed at that, an ooc prize. But NO they had to mention it canonically. More then once. So much that some players (cof cof) argued bbh shouldnt win bc he would invite skeppy in a non democratic way. That was a CANNON ARGUMENT. MADE BY A PLAYER.

I cant stress how much i hate this decision. I can't stress how much i adored the story and these little things broke the immersion so much for me.

How did NO ONE go against inviting someone to basically be a little lab rat???????? Not even like cellbit. Or baghera. Or anyone else.

This time it wasnt even Qstudios' fault (which sounds insane considering,, well, the array of poorly analyzed decisions). It was the fault some of the players that decided that "in meta this doesnt make sense!!!!! they wouldnt do this!!!" is a valid argument to bring into an IN CHARACTER DISCUSSION.

All the things tubbo said abt the cursed team were in character. All his arguments were perfectly cohesive w the things qtubbo was supposed to know, and all the times he talked to them he was playing the character. Just for them to reply w "i think ur wrong bc qstudios wouldnt do this in meta bc there HAS to be a winner"

NO THERE DOESN'T????????? Purgatory was a poorly planned and poorly executed event that id argue shouldve never existed but oh my GOD.

This is gonna sound corny but if you look at the cursed team in a completely meta perspective, the objective wouldve been very clear — force the teams to unite so that the cursed team would win (remember that if the cursed team won they could get all the eggs back instead of only 1) .

The moral here wouldve been that friendship is magic ✨ (< sorry)

And to be honest, that would've been a much more tolerable event. I wont elaborate; u all know why.

Idk if qstudios shouldve been more clear abt it, or even if they thought as far as i did — considering, well, everything that we know today. I just think not listening to someone saying things w proof bc "in meta they wouldnt do that" is dumb and breaks the immersion so much for me.

They couldve discussed it like that in their ooc convos. But they did it during rp and thats what i dont like.

Anyways sorry for this rant i woke up a hater today,, i hope this makes even a little bit of sense. Also this is not a hate to the ccs, still adore (most of) them. Sometimes ppl make mistakes and thats totally ok!!!!!!! Regarding the elections i think it was mostly a poor decision and direction from qstudios then the players' fault. Purgatory was the players themselves (in this specific case) tho..

least favorite thing about them - also on a meta level. look. im not a nasty little hater (except when i am), but i have to admit that the writers are CONSTANTLY shoving him to the side in favor of the rest of the cast. even in his own game, Monster Roadtrip, a majority of the events tend to lean on polly being the center-focus with scott acting as her sidekick. this was esp apparent in the End of the Road ending where Polly was basically the main character while Scott was also There (sort of). ill admit i partially understand this since polly is generally a more active character while scott is more reactive, but still, id love to see my boy get his kudos

favorite line - there's so many good ones but im just gonna with one based on a recent screenshot i took: "I really like macaroni, but I'm not allowed to boil water by myself, so I just eat the noodles raw."

brOTP - DA PRANK MASTERZ BABEY!!! Scott is my fav MP character and Polly is my second fav, so you it's only natural that I'd be obsessed with their dynamic. canonically bimbo and himbo besties.

OTP - Scott howl x ME!! i like him and brian a lot, i think they're cute. im a sucker for jock x jock and golden retriever x constantly tired so the two of them manage to hit a sweet spot for me.

nOTP - the game keeps trying to push scott x vicky or scott x amira and like, im sorry, but trying to get me to ship Bara Icon Scott Howl with women? im calling homophobia. besides im more of a vicky x vera and amira x damien guy so on all fronts those ships just dont really appeal to me

random headcanon - for reasons i cant disclose this has been canonically refuted but i always pictured scott's grandma as one of those very classic horror movie werewolves- all fangs, all carnage, very little sexy (unless you're into that sort of thing, in which case, hey. you do you). she used to be the alpha of the pack back in her day and was an absolute menace to monster society, until she got a little older and settled down. still, she secretly craves the old days when monsters could be monsters, and keeps trying to convince scott to embrace his more animalistic side, even though he keeps telling her that murder isnt actually really mean and you probably shouldn't do it.

unpopular opinion - the monster prom fandom doesnt really have that much discourse so i dont know whats an unpopular opinion vs what isnt. uuuh i think scott should have won that popularity poll back when monster prom was still getting updates and gotten the new secret ending instead of damien's "punch the sun" ending

Laughing so hard because in a tweet of unpopular opinions about 1D someone had the nerve to say, receiving dozens of likes, that harry achieved more success because he released solo music before the others… in reality he was the fourth out of five members. This is just another small example of how so many so-called ot5 have built up ideas that have nothing to do with the reality of events and continue with lies calling them opinions for the sole pleasure of diminishing the achievements of those they love less because for some reason the resentment they feel has obscured everything else. I will never understand wanting to define yourself as OT5 when it's clear that you don't feel the same affection for the five of them, in order to call yourself an ot5 you should show the same treatment to the 5s and if you don't feel like that, you know, it's fine to be a directioner, to love the band, their music, the old videos etc. and not appreciate them all as soloist; the important thing from my point of view is not to put yourself on a pedestal pretending to still love all 5 of them in the same way and attacking those who have the courage to admit to preferring one/two/three of them and then be anything but supportive. Many think that admitting this is synonymous with malice because in their heads the boys are "sold" as an inseparable package but it is NOT like that, they are 5 individuals who make completely different music and have completely different personalities, and this thing of always and only throwing shit on the same person knowing that you have hundreds of people supporting you is extremely toxic and hypocritical. I shall again be brutally honest and say I really don't care at this point what brought you here: sincerity or elicitation of shippers' reactions on this very meh week-end. It doesn't really matter, either: but since Mordor is regularly accusing us of spoliation of evidence, I thought your submission deserved a careful answer. I know that annoys the shit out of them, too - not gonna lie, I am always pleased to oblige.

For our readers that have a normal life and were not here for Marple's midnight stalking session, here goes a summing-up of the facts (I hope you don't mind):

A video snippet of what is probably a more extended FaceTime conversation between S and Amanda Tutschek ( https://paintedpeachla.com/), a topless artist and painting tutor (100 USD/hour/class) from Vancouver, BC (but currently active in Venice Beach, Ca.) surfaced on Marple's account, supposedly dropped in her DMs by a good Samaritan. It is a nine second snippet ("... yeah...I was gonna put this one up here... but so funny... I was literally doing this yesterday and I was thinking about you...") with the comment: "Pimping out @samheughan's walls in Ireland (IE flag emoji)". It stayed on Tutschek's Instagram account for about four hours and then was promptly erased.

You start by telling me "S is playing the narrative with" the #silly calendar girls crowd. Is he, in this instance and if so, how can you (or anybody) be so sure?

Two scenarios are at play here:

First scenario: S/his people leaked this on purpose. Therefore, S is a troll.

Second scenario: Tutschek posted it as an Instastory on purpose. Therefore, S is a victim.

If S is trolling the fandom and I believe he is (only not now and not like this), why would he leak this on purpose? To emphatically let us know they're 'obviously not together'? To stir the pot between Queen *urv and Marple? To consolidate his man whore image, just when he was taking part in a critically important event in New York? I can understand the Lord of the Rings rigmarole (grinned for days), but assuming he is behind this strange snippet would be stretching the fabric of facts a bit too much, to my taste.

Also, despite *urv's delirious opinion ("he had a bedroom voice"), I think he just sounded tired and vaguely friendly: yes, I do think it's his voice. Not earlier than Friday evening, I received a video call on Fb from M, a (Taurus, hehe) former high school mate and one of my best friends. She always makes a point of telling me stuff like "I was buying grapes at the farmer's market and thought about you, how you absolutely hate them, so I called"/"I am at the Opera with Professor So-and-So, I told him about my brilliant friend in Athens, wanna say hi ?" That doesn't mean M wants me, the woman is happily married with two teenage boys. But she is a kind soul, with a superb understanding about what a friend really means (including being candidly obnoxious and immediately forgiven for it).

If Tutschek posted it out of her own accord on Insta, the reason would be simple: coat-tailing for clicks, shits and giggles. The insistent Ireland reference would point to that: I mean, the woman scrolled all the way down to the flag emojis to make sure we got the point (and in the process, more innuendo, mayhap). That would also explain why she promptly took it down: either because she realized somehow she pushed things a smidge too far or because she was strongly encouraged to cut the crap.

Seriously, whatever. This is just another episode of low-cost fuckery, irrespective of the two possibilities I just discussed. Her art is not as memorable as the bosom she generously shares with the world. It is borderline depressing and nothing to write home about, if you ask me. And the fact that the fandom quickly placed her in the same social circle with Quarantein Gia and Paparazzi Clarke, well... another major eyeroll, just here. The expected effect was exactly the one you described: to quietly gnaw at people's respect of S and also to chip a bit more of the fairytale.

This will happen only if you let them. These people, whoever they are, cannot challenge your reason, because there is nothing interesting or even logical about idiotic tidbits like this one. But they can and they are challenging and playing with your emotions, in order to instill doubt, insecurity, fear or disgust. I will not discuss Marple's editorial policy here (like her legally disingenuous use of someone else's material), simply because I do not want to give that derailed jukebox further space on my page. It is my sensible choice not to let these people in my world more than they deserve to be (very little). Maybe you should try it too, Anon. It could work for you as it did for me, once I came to terms with it.

1. Where can your Tav be recruited?  Are they first encountered on the Nautiloid, or in the Nautiloid crash region?  Or are they not recruitable until a later act?

we're going to go with tadpoled marigold for this, for simplicity's sake, which means that mari is in the nautiloid crash region! i think my beloved girl went a-wandering and with her amazing conflict resolution skills her recruitment event is you watching her enchant those bandits by withers's temple. they're getting hostile and trying to defend their score, mari (wizard) starts twirling her hair and going "oh i'm so sorry, i didn't mean to offend! listen, i'm really just hopelessly lost and i could do with some directions and protection, i'd make you a lovely cake in return!" and then when the bandits start gearing up to rob her she fucking wastes them in front of you & turns around with blood on her skirt like hey guys what's up :D and you can recruit her. astarion approves if you do this but all of their banter after a certain point becomes him going I Literally Fucking Hate You So Much. Gods.

evie (ranger) shows up as part of mari's personal quest, which is directly evie-centric <3 it gets weird and probably violent. evie basically begs you to recruit her as a party member and if you don't do it she will just become a camp follower anyway. you have to dismiss marigold to get her to leave your camp, and at any time while she's there you can recruit her.

thea (cleric of haela brightaxe) is recruitable in the last light inn. she showed up to confer w jaheira bc she's very stressed about her missing daughter, which means that jaheira basically shoves her at you like "hey can you take my situationship out for a walk so she stops semi hysterically propositioning me in war meetings." and if you agree: you have thea :)

TECHNICALLY ros and norie woulda come with thea, but we're spacing this out bc this is now working within bg3 party member game logic, so they're both recruitable in act 3 when you visit the tasty pastry! they're kind of redundant atp i think bc you don't REALLY need another fighter or another cleric but if you take one you have to take both.

8. Do they have comments on who the Player Character chooses to spend the night with? 

marigold makes like 200 really really really bitchy and passive aggressive comments if you flirted with her at all but chose someone else OR if anyone starts romancing gale and does not ever really get over doing that for the entirety of the game to the point where a few of the gale specific banters triggered by the PC romancing him are just him going "hey marigold can you please let it go." she does not. toxic hater girl.

evie, who actually probably propositions the PC at some point, will mostly just be congratulatory (a very "hey nice look at you getting some!") but asks a little apprehensively if you're sure about astarion. seems like maybe he needs a friend, not a lover. i also think if you're romancing wyll she asks you if you're sure he's safe. sometimes those hero-types aren't as nice as they seem when the doors are closed and no one is looking.

thea is just like for FUCK'S SAKE do you not have PRIORITIES??? we have BIGGER FISH TO FRY. which becomes super funny and stupid later because i do think there's a cutscene that's the PC walking in on her and jaheira having one of those swoony and very stupid romance novel arguments like the world isn't literally ending guys cmon
