Sexuality Headcanon: Pansexual!!  Gender Headcanon: Cis male A ship I have with said character: SHIKAMARU. SHIKAMARU. SHIKAMARU. SHIKAMARUUUU, my god...just, everything about their dynamic makes my heart melt, the way they’re both people who are easily dismissed by others and how they have such UNFALTERING FAITH in each other. chouji knows how much of a genius shikamaru is, knows very well the fact that despite his laziness, once he commits to something he’s in it for the LONG HAUL, the way shikamaru just believes so steadfastly in chouji, considering him stronger than NEJI FOR FUCKS SAKE...they like. get one another, the kind of relationship where you can be yakking away one minute and then just sitting in contented silence the next. they can just laze around. maybe play video games and snack. and sometimes...kiss. and it’s so chill even with that latent tenderness their later relationship develops and they both just feel so safe and KNOWN and familiar like. love your best friend. anyway everyone slept on shikacho and y’all should be ashamed the naruto fandom is enormous and finding pretty much ANY content for it is almost impossible aside from the small (if lovely and amazing) tag and i’m pretty hyperfixated on it if you couldn’t tell holy SHIT.  A BROTP I have with said character: i’m really not a fan of ino taking potshots at him for his weight and outright shaming him, but once she grows out of that i absolutely love their friendship. listen, you know that post thats like--hold on

A NOTP I have with said character: i have nothing against karui but canon is fucking dead to me and my opinions on p much all the “endgame” ships range from utterly neutral to absolute loathing. their relationship is on neither end of the spectrum, but. eh. definitely not into it. A random headcanon: he keeps nursing injured animals back to health because he’s just that fucking sweet and bringing them back to his house to keep them warm and safe while they recover and his team knows vaguely about this and ino and shikamaru like to poke fun at him for it but since they don’t tend to encounter said animals, it’s not really a huge deal.

of course they stop by his house one day bc he hadn’t shown up for training which is annoying and frankly a little concerning and finding the house mostly empty ino just bursts on into chouji’s room only to immediately have the opossum he’s been caring for latch its little paws on her face and cling.

it’s a bad morning. General Opinion over said character: literally one of my absolute favorites of all time and it really breaks my heart how overlooked he is in the fandom (seriously y’all...). i think kishimoto is kind of a stupid hack and the Fat Jokes are really grating and it sucks to see that so intrinsically tied to his character (like. just let him be fat. jesus christ) but his kindness and overall relaxed, loyal and lovable nature has me just melting. i adore him. 

Shikamaru

Sexuality Headcanon: He’s gay, scoob. (I could also talk a lot about how his earlier misogyny is both a product of being a whiny tween and also some internalized frustration of like WHATS SO GREAT ABOUT GIRLS. UGH. I DONT. STOP TELLING ME IM GONNA FALL IN LOVE WITH ONE ONE DAY DAD JESUS. and let’s be real, thats frustrating, even if it aint an excuse)  Gender Headcanon: he uses he/him pronouns because it’s just what he’s used to and comfortable with but man gender is such a drag... A ship I have with said character: SEE ABOVE SHIKACHO RANT A BROTP I have with said character: naruto! he and naruto have a really adorable friendship and i love love LOVE that he and chouji were shown to be kind and accepting of him even when most people were shunning him. also he’s so fucking dumb i love seeing shikamaru meticulously plan out something only to have naruto shriek into battle and ruin all of it. love those guys. stupid bros.  A NOTP I have with said character: ok. im sorry i just. loathe sh*katema i really do. i haaaate the way kishimoto writes this whole “ew a GIRL” “ew a MAN” vibe with the like OOOH BUT THEYRE GONNA LIKE EACH OTHER vibe like. 

don’t get me wrong i adore them as friends, i think they’re fantastic scathing and witty pals who bitch about anything and everything including each other

but they’re also both gay and kishimoto can suck my nuts byeeee A random headcanon: sometimes pakkun just fucking Shows up and chills with him. shikamaru wants absolutely no part of this but is way too lazy to like. do anything about it so it’s just this guy and a dog sitting in a field chillin and occasionally him piping up like ‘hey kid. remember when i bit your hand? yeah? haha, man time sure does fly.” while shikamaru is just. go aWAY.   General Opinion over said character: if you told 9 year old me watching naruto for the first time my favs were gonna be a three way tie of lee, shikamaru and chouji i never would have fucking believed you but here we are. i love him. i absolutely love him. he’s such a whiny bastard and a really good depiction of burnout genius who doesnt want to do ANYTHING, but his intellect is an absolute DELIGHT to watch. i love him very much. 

Lee

Sexuality Headcanon: he’s pan!! this is a boy that crushes easily and crushes hard on just about anyone!!!! Gender Headcanon: cis male A ship I have with said character: ok i ship him a lot with neji actually? what with how neji grows during the course of the series to regard lee with the respect he deserves is really sweet and there’s just something so infinitely adorable about him going around being the hammiest, most ridiculously earnest, kind and enthusiastic person and neji, now that he isn’t constantly bitter and angry at the world can finally really see that? lee is always happily dropkicking his way into his life, like he wouldn’t have it any other way, and i think that’s just...so sweet A BROTP I have with said character: SAKURAAAAA. oh my GOD do i adore their relationship. ever since lee saved her and basically just gave her a glimpse of his...lee-ness, the fact her negative opinion of him IMMEDIATELY flipped and gave her such a strong admiration and fondness for him kills me DEAD. she always treats him with so much respect and the fact she’s quick to rag on anyone making fun of him melts my HEART!! and on lee’s side, his little crush on her is adorable of course, but the sheer strength of the friendship that comes from it is more than infatuation could ever offer him. i want them to hang out together and talk about their troubles...i want them to make each other laugh and be so very kind to each other...i want sakura to storm over and throw him over her shoulder to TAKE A BREAK ALREADY when he’s been training too hard for too long. god. A NOTP I have with said character: honestly i’m pretty happy with a lot of lee ships! the only ones i view with obvious disdain are the ones with creepy age gaps honestly. A random headcanon: out of everyone in the leaf genin, he’s probably the closest anyone’s ever come to someone who EVERYONE is at least distantly friendly towards. like god have you SEEN how warm and inviting and concerned he is the SECOND he sees that naruto is feeling down? i get the sense he’s immediately inclined to provide that kind of support to any of his comrades, even the ones that Resist it.

you think sasuke is the most popular among the leaf genin? puh-LEASE. everyone looks on rock lee with at least a LITTLE bit of warmth. thats just fact. General Opinion over said character: since my first viewing of naruto he has been my Absolute fav, and while chouji and shikamaru are veeery close to stealing that spot, one look at him and i feel he’s gonna be on top forever. probably the best written character kishimoto’s ever produced that’s remained in  the main cast (tho i dont speak for shipudden onwards who fucking knows, but the truth of it is is i adore rock lee)

Gaara

Sexuality Headcanon: Panromantic Asexual Gender Headcanon: kind of like shikamaru, i feel like he uses he/him pronouns but also doesn’t particularly....Care? A ship I have with said character: ok so it wasnt until my naruto rewatch that i really started falling into this but i think him and naruto are super cute? while i loathe kishimoto for ruining so much abt this show he really is good at creating good foils to naruto, and gaara is no exception--and the way naruto changes his life by just kicking his ass (and proving he’s not just a Simp or smth) and then just, extending genuine empathy and a REAL sense of truly relating to where he’s coming from re:his upbringing? the EFFECT it has on him, bro!!!! my god!!! i feel like they’re that opposites attract ship that don’t clash constantly but instead fall into this adorable synergy and understanding? and i think thats so sweet A BROTP I have with said character: ...is it cheating to just put temari and kankuro here? bc they are literally his siblings but my GOD do i love their relationship. there’s something so deeply sad about their initial situation??? like having siblings that either are deeply fucking afraid of you or clearly don’t care for your well being whatsoever, it’s such a tragic scenario, and the times where they really do show legitimate care for gaara just breaks my heart...but the GROWTH. THE DEVELOPMENT. THE HEALING. i love the sand siblings so much, i am a STRONG advocate of seeing the development from estranged family to loving, occasionally bickering siblings who absolutely Love Each Other A NOTP I have with said character: uhhhh same with lee in that i don’t really mind most of the ships i’ve seen him in? while i don’t particularly ship gaalee i think its also Very Cute, and really it all just seems pretty valid as long as people aren’t being creepy? A random headcanon: i’ve been wracking my brain for one for a good 20 minutes and i just don’t have one he’s such a mystery to me/????? i love him but he is an enigma?? General Opinion over said character: oh my god he’s such an edgelord in the beginning. i’ve been doing a lot of this naruto rewatch with my friend @drashseed (a simply phenomenal fella 10/10 follow him) and every single time he talked the only valid response just became “ok gaara”

but his backstory? utterly HEARTWRENCHING. and his growth is just. absolutely divine, i adore him. thank you mister sandman for doing so much for us all.

Hinata

Sexuality Headcanon: Bisexual Gender Headcanon: cis woman A ship I have with said character: listen. i think kibahina is........Really Really cute. he cares about her so MUCH??? and there’s a certain tenderness to his interactions with her that’s just really evident whenever you see em together? i really love that you get the sense hinata is COMFORTABLE around him!!! like! i feel like hinata really deserves to have a partner who sees her when she ISN’T blushing and stammering? when she’s like? legitimately comfortable and being HERSELF? (dgmw the blushing is adorable i fucking love her but its one of the gripes i have with naruhina that so much of it is just naruto being oblivious and her having a small panic attack) the comfort she and kiba have make for a chill, adorable relationship i just cry over constantly A BROTP I have with said character: so i was GONNA put naruto here, but technically i already put him there for shikamaru’s so i’m gonna say neji!!! uhhh OBVIOUSLY they got off to a. very rough start but the way their dynamic changed (or perhaps in a way reverted back to the times they interacted before neji’s father died and temporarily killed his Human Decency) into this respect and fondness that’s just...such a delight to watch? i’m a SUCKER for slow and mutual reconciliation and there are just so many sweet moments between them. they are FAMILY, BRO!!! THEY CARE FOR EACH OTHER, BRO!!!!!!!!!! A NOTP I have with said character: ...at the risk of sounding like a broken record, i think a lot of hinata ships are quite cute? i guess i’m gonna have to say sasuke. because like.

has. he ever even looked at her. please. jesus christ. she deserves so much better. A random headcanon: she is a LOT physically stronger than she looks!! a lot of her combat techniques rely on taijustu after all so it’d make sense that she puts a lot of effort into physical training alongside chakra control.

i’m trying to say she’s strong. not as strong as sakura but. she can lift her bf up over her head (he’s dying hes dying he’s dYING he lOVES HER SO MUCH). it’s pretty fuckign badass

General Opinion over said character: i LOVE her??? honest to god i really really do--honestly while i dislike the direction they went in canon with her, i really loved seeing her be motivated to grow and change the parts of herself she hated to become a stronger person.

Fav thing about them: i think google irl was one of the first sketches of mark’s that i watched way back in middle school before i was actively involved in the fandom. it was one of my favorite sketches that he did and later on i watched google gets an upgrade which is what prompted me to watched the rest of his sketches and join the fandom lol. but about the character himself, i think…i dunno he’s just a really fun character to play around with. the robotic/glitchy aesthetic, his personality, his design, etc were all really fun elements to play around with whenever i drew him and bing. plus i liked mark’s voice and acting in his videos :3

Least fav thing: while i respect that google is technically matthias’s character, i am kinda bummed that that means mark can’t just do whatever he likes with him and thus he prob won’t have the freedom to include him in content as much as his other egos, like him including bing in the calendar but not googs even tho i feel like google is more popular. i mean im just assuming that’s why he doesn’t use him much. that and the fact that i know he just doesn’t wanna do content with him, compared to dark/wil. which again i completely respect his decisions.

Unpopular opinion: he’s the defective one!! not bing!!!! he’s literally glitching constantly right up until he updates himself in ggau!!!! bing is “default” but he’s not defective, at least not anymore than his search engine is. google only said that bc ppl irl prefer google (the search engine) over bing. that was the joke. bing, as an android (or whatever they are in universe), is fully functional, unlike google who couldn’t even complete his primary objective (the thing he was made to do!!) without completely breaking down. he just uses this to his advantage to make himself seem intimidating (like dark and his screaming), so maybe ppl see it more as a feature rather than a bug, yknow?

Scott: He’s very protective of his brothers. He’s a good leader and learning to be a better one, which I hope is a thing that continues.

Virgil: I love him. He’s so confident in his brothers’ abilities. He’s such a dork. Also, he looks like he gives really good hugs.

Alan: My FUCKING boy, dude. He’s adorable, he’s capable, he’s smart, he’s such a little brother. He’s actually matured a lot. He’s a good pilot and a little shit.

Gordon: This boy is great. He’s the jokester, but obviously still competent, he’s a good big bro to Alan, an obvious little bro to Virgil for sure, which is so funny to me. Also, he’s so kind.

John: Okay, first of all, he’s so smart. He’s a good, calm voice. This is gonna sound cheesy, but he’s like the lighthouse in a storm, when you need help he’s the voice that finds you and helps you to safety. The point of first contact, if you will.

Least favorite thing about them:

Scott: His temper. I get it, but yeah. Still love him though.

Virgil: Mmmmm I don’t know. He’s felt weird in the most recent episodes, kinda?

Alan: When the narrative has him act too childish in order to emphasize his age or something, I don’t know.

Gordon: ALL I WANNA KNOW IS HOW HE GETS IN HIS DAMN UNIFORM

John: That he doesn’t use EOS as much as he should. That’s really the writers’ fault. EOS is great and should be used a lot.

Favorite line:

Scott: This might sound like a cop out but it’s “See you in the sky.” He’s said it a few times when heading out to Thunderbird One. It’s just a good line, I don’t like, I like the way he says it, confident and ready to go.

Virgil: “Want me to pick you up anything while I’m out?” He’s. Such. A dork. This joke while in a very overwhelming situation to calm a woman down is good. Also really speaks to his character. Also, his interactions with Alan in Inferno? Hell yeah.

Alan: Oh, no. Oh man. So many. I think nearly every line in Deep Search. And Ghost Ship. Two very good Alan episodes. Long Haul, also a good Alan episode. His conversation with Conrad? Best thing ever.

Gordon: Same problem as Alan. I really like him in Weather Or Not, Escape Proof, and Lost Kingdom. He’s fantastic in Up From The Depths part 1. He’s good in Bolt From The Blue, and Attack of the Reptiles. I think, though, his conversation with Aiden in Extraction is probably the best.

John: It’s definitely a cop out to say “International Rescue, we have a situation” but it’d also be kinda true. Anytime he talks to EOS is good. I’m a big fan of Thomas Brodie-Sangster, so like. Anything he says is good. But “The code is ‘EOS let them in or I’ll swap out your processors with a pocket calcuator.’” is pretty high on the list.

Gordon: He’s a marine biologist and I will hear nothing else. Also, this boy has definitely done the whole star thing. He’s been in a few movies, guest starred in a crime show where he was the murderer. Has a huge following online.

John: Wrote textbooks. Specifically one that when Alan goes to college, he ends up using. Has definitely been propositioned to more than once, both while on duty as Thunderbird Five, and on the ground, giving lectures or being dragged around amusement parks by Alan.

Unpopular Opinion:

Scott: I want more Good Leader moments.

Virgil: Okay, don’t hate me, but I still have mixed feelings about the whole Virgil-and-John-age thing. I liked him being the middle brother.

Alan: I think my unpopular opinion about him is just ‘I want more of him.’ Which isn’t really like. Bad. He’s just my favorite and I love when he has screentime.

Gordon: Needs a meatier storyline. A good thing to grasp onto. He’s often the one in the most danger - he’s nearly died more times than his brothers, and that’s some SHIT.

If we’re talking the whole MCU now that all the main characters have met in Infinity War, then my fav character is Lady Sif, though we haven’t seen her for a while. (She shows up on Agents of SHIELD! Twice!) Talking strictly about the Avengers though, my fav is Black Widow. Thor is a close second.

I was slow to take to Thor - I missed the movie when it first showed, and my friends all went to see it at the drive-in cinema while I stayed at home and did some washing up. But I liked how the first movie was a fairytale, how much work the costume designers had done on his various outfits, etc. He’s such a nice, easygoing person mostly, and he matures over the course of his movies. Comparing him to, say, an inhuman (since Agents of SHIELD exists in the same universe but they never acknowledge that in the movies) he has several powers - lightning, flight, weather manipulation, midgardian strength, you get the idea - he’s like worth 5 inhumans, and I wouldn’t put it in terms of how well a character can fight BUT that’s all avengers infinity war was apparently about.

Anyway Black Widow is my favourite because she’s been an avenger for as long as Thor and longer than Clint (who had a bit of a vacation). But - she’s just human. Everyone else (apart from Clint) is enhanced or has a super suit in some way, but not her, and that’s just impressive and slightly terrifying. Plus, she was voiced by Alison Brie in the Avengers Academy mobile game, which has since been discontinued, sadly, but she was very cute in that.

Skyrim: Serana!

Mass Effect: Ashley and Kaidan are very dear to me. 

2. What is your latest fandom?

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. For all my followers who found me through fallout, skyrim or borderlands - I’m sorry for the Kassandra spam.

I have the first three games on my PC but haven’t played more than five minutes of the first one. It’s an entirely uneducated opinion but I think I could sense that like AC: Odyssey sometimes, there isn’t as good a plot and definitely not as good music as some other games I’ve played, like Wolfenstein The New Order or Skyrim. I’m open to being proven wrong, but I haven’t gotten round to sitting down and playing through them, or watching a let’s play. I’m very partial to a good soundtrack for a game not to mention enjoying it as soon as I understand the controls. 

I am very inexperienced when it comes to games overall and I usually start every new game on easy or very easy difficulty; I completed Shadow of the Tomb Raider on easy and I’m playing AC: Odyssey on that level too. But Tomb Raider (2013) and Shadow of the Tomb Raider had so much muddy jungle that looks all the same; dodging wolves and falling down slippery slopes; and next to no memorable soundtrack that I really didn’t enjoy it. Rise of the Tomb Raider (the second game in the reboot trilogy) has GREAT music and I listen to that soundtrack still sometimes. Often when I’m doing sidequests or just exploring in AC: Odyssey, it will actually be so depressing from the lack of music that I’ll watch something else like Would I Lie To You or listen to something else like one of my chillwave songs.

Anyway I have a sideblog for posting Kassandra pics and I’m writing snippets of fic here and there as the fancy takes me.

Is Alexi/Emily obscure? It’s definitely not canon since Wyman exists. I strongly feel that Alexi and Emily have history.

I also like, uhh, Ashley/Kaidan.

In the MCU? I know that Daisy and Robbie haven’t really done anything at all romantic but I felt that there was at least some romantic undertones in there. 

32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?

I don’t often listen to music when I write because I’m very bad at scheduling time to put away other distractions and write, and in fact, I often think of new ideas while I’m doing other repetitive tasks like driving back and forth to somewhere I know, or while running.

But when I want a calming and quiet atmosphere to write, then I usually play my “quiet” playlist which is the four main soundtrack themes from Sanctum 2, “Leaving Earth” from ME3, “Rage and Serenity” from X-Men First Class, and a bunch of longer orchestral tracks from the doctor who soundtrack, mostly 2006-2009, when they ran a few specials which were longer episodes that allowed the composer Murray Gold to write longer and more contemplative tracks. For example, “The End Draws Near” literally sounds like home to me, and as such, it’s calming and helpful when I need that sort of mood.

Also I’m inspired by good trailer music (”Children of the Sun” and “Final Frontier” by Thomas Bergensen for example) and dramatic music from movies like the dramatic bits from Thor or The Winter Soldier. Mostly these are, again, orchestral or electronic or both. I’m classically trained in piano and violin (and I’ve forgotten 80% of what I’ve learned haha) so I often lean toward good orchestral scores.

40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?

Plot. I very easily come up with cool concepts or amusing, endearing conversations and scenes between characters but I struggle to link things all together in a compelling long-term way. Which is… exactly like my life.

Let's go with something interesting: Seiya

yaaaaay! thank you for playing, love!!

So, Seiya!Why I like him (Yes, I’m gonna go for “him”. The Seiya I grew up with referred to himself as “he” in the 90s anime, so that’s what I’m choosing, too): So, first off - Other than many of you guys who live in the US, I met the anime Seiya much earlier. The german dub didn’t censor the episodes. So when I was 9 I grew up with Haruka and Michiru as a lesbian couple, with Fisheye as male, and with a Stars season. And Stars was my favorite season of all - the animation was better cleaned up, the fillers followed a narrative, and to 9 to 11 year old me Seiya was never a threat to Usagi’s and Mamoru’s relationship. And he isn’t now, either. So … I like him a lot. He is a person who has just survived a war - he’s one of the last of his entire species and has seen horrors and now fled in his duty to search for his princess. And all throughout these heartbreaking things, he is still a very happy-go-lucky person. Someone quick to smile and tease. In fact, personality-wise, I see him as somewhere in the middle between Usagi and Minako. A flirt, someone who represses bad stuff easily, someone who can switch that smile on - and also someone quick to trust, and quick to love. Also, he, like I do, loves the shit out of Usagi. And in my books, that doesn’t make him a bad person, and neither is it a threat to Mamoru. Because well, it wouldn’t be a very strong miracle love if it’s shaken simply by the fact that there are other people who love Usagi? But yeah, I basically wrote an essay defending him a while ago which you can find here xD

Why I don’t: Doesn’t apply, lol. He’s in my top 5 fav characters. I wish a lot more people were more like Seiya!

Favorite episode/scene: Episode is hard. But I love several scenes with him. I like that scene in the soft ball episode, where Usagi and Seiya sit with Chibi Chibi under the Stars, and he tells her she’s a brightly shining star. I also love that scene right in the end battle, where Usagi sees Mamoru’s golden crystal in the sea of Galaxia’s stolen star seeds and realizes he’s been dead - and Star Fighter’s heart BREAKS for Usagi, crying out how Galaxia could have done that to her. That’s a big and pure gesture to be so deeply compassionate about your beloved’s grief over her beloved. And yeah, also all those instances where that guy is willing to die for Usagi and stays her friend regardless of the fact he knows full well she will never return his feelings for her.

Favorite line: yeah… I don’t have those xD And the only one that comes to mind is the one so many of you guys hate. The “Why can’t it be me?” line. Because that broke my heAArrT.

OTP: Seiya and his unrequited love for Usagi.

BROTP: Seiya and Usagi. He’s there for her as much as the girls are.

Headcanon: If they would have had the chance to get to know each other, I think he and Mamoru would have gotten along. Mamoru - kind and gentle as he is - would have maybe been irritated with Seiya’s feelings for Usagi, but not felt threatened. Plus, he can relate why people would love Usagi. Also, Seiya is pretty open and trusting - things Mamoru likes about Usagi. Just the Minako side to Seiya might be a bit much for Mamoru, lol.

Unpopular opinion: I think all my opinions on Seiya are one big unpopular opinion XD

A wish: I want more fanfic that don’t make Seiya into a bad guy. He doesn’t deserve that. Also please more Mamoru and Seiya scenes in fic, please? Of the good, friendly, slightly awkward kind?And another wish: Some of those shippy episodes? Like the doki-doki date? (which I loved, thank you very much) - I would have loved a bit of that in Season One. Why couldn’t they have given early Usagi and Mamoru some pining, chemistry-y episodes like that? So yeah - gimme some of that dynamic for my OTP. Huddled together in her closet? Oh c'mooon.

An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen: In a world where there is a Mamoru (and this Mamoru is not utterly OOC), Usagi would always choose Mamoru and not Seiya. Sorry, Seiya. My heart breaks for you, I promise.

Day 3/30 - What is your favorite OTP/BROTP?

oh honey it’s easily, without any doubt in my mind Yongguk and Zelo (as a brotp) this is a really long post so im going to put it under a read more!! but here’s my favorite thing I wrote in here:

Yongguk/Zelo is my fav brotp because I know that with them, there is a type of love that runs so deep it puts the ocean to shame

being someone who also suffers from mental illness and several insecurities that lead to have an immense amount of trust issues and fear of letting people into my life, it has always warmed my heart to see Yongguk’s and Zelo’s dynamic. The first time I saw this video a few nights ago I had to pause because this part made me cry

out of context, this is probably the stupidest comment to cry over but again, as a spoonie and as someone who was really effected by the sharing of Yongguk’s panic disorder, this comment hit my heart. if anyone is going to know Yongguk and understand how he lives with his disorder, its the boys and whereas this segment of the meet&greet was to just share some wishes, Zelo could have picked just about anything to wish for. Hell he couldve wished that Yongguk bought him food or something. but instead all he wants is to spend time with his friend. To just sit around, shoot the shit and just genuinely have fun with him. And the fact that he wants to just do it in a place that Yongguk himself is comfortable in and feels safe in is the absolute best thing about this. Because again, Zelo could’ve wished for anything. Could’ve wished to go traveling, to go o an amusement park or something but no. And while I don’t know his actual intentions for wanting this specifically, I would like to think it’s because he knows it’s what would make Yongguk the most comfortable 

This is also my favorite brotp for the small fact that Zelo came into this group as a literal child. He was 15 when he first came out in Never Give Up and was basically raised by his members. As the group leader, it’s only obvious that Yongguk would take responsilibty over this kid and that’s clearly shown through a birthday note Yongguk wrote to Zelo where he said:

“I hope you become an artist that inclines your ear to words that challenge you rather than to [compliments]. I need to be a better role model, and I’m always sorry that I haven’t been. But to this hyung, you are the best. Let’s become even better adults.”

Yongguk gives a lot to his members. He sacrifices a lot of himself to give them the best opportunities and outcomes possible and that’s an even stronger statement for Zelo. And this isn’t one sided either. The amount of love Zelo has for Yongguk is absolutely insane.

During one of their concerts in Osaka, Yongguk literally told the audience:

“Please love the members a lot. As for me, you can love me even just a little.”

And yes this hurts my heart to the core because Yongguk isn’t able to see all the love we have for him he can’t see past his own insecurities to see how much love and appreciation he gets or how much hope and inspiration he gives but then I remember that on a different day, Zelo also said:

“For all the love I received from everyone, I will take 50% of it, then I’ll bring the remaining 50% to Yongguk Hyung.”

And for that reason Yongguk/Zelo is my fav brotp because I know that with them, there is a type of love that runs so deep it puts the ocean to shame

PSYCHO PASS Questionnaire

First of all, thank you @white-queen-lacus (and @whatsyourcolor) for tagging me. Sorry if I answer so late but work has been really demanding and season 3 announcement has been the last straw to my gastritis, so I’ve been out of myself for more than a week.

Anyway, this has given me the chance to read all of your interesting opinions and I must say that I share a good part of them. Soooo, here we go!

Top Three Favourite Characters:

Kougami Shinya & Tsunemori Akane (I like each one of them at the same level for different reasons, but they always come together for me)

NO ONE. If there are two people on the top, the second place is empty.

Karanomori Shion, Kagari Shusei and Sasayama (btw, Kagari and Sasayama are on the top of my “You shouldn’t have died” list, even if, Sasayamakun, I’m sorry but your death gave start to Psycho-pass so it’s unavoidable)

And here I am, breaking the rules, because the title said 3 fav characters. 3 is reductive when speaking of Psycho pass.

Five Favourite Ships (Canon or Not):

Shinkane, there’s no doubt about it. They are perfect together, in every possible way, in every possible feature, in every possible direction you look at them.

Kunikara     (Shion x Yayoi)..and same as shinkane for the reason. They are that kind of couple with different temper/physical appearance/ behavior that makes them just perfect together.

Gino X Risa. The ship that never sailed. I didn’t have the time to wink and say….hey 😉😉😉, what’s going on here? That the poor Risa was already blood spray on the floor. Dramatic!

No other couples…I’m not a shipper of non canon couples, I only ship couples     where I sense love.

If BROTP counts, I would ship Kougami x Sasayama, the best BROTP, and Gino x Sugou.

Character I find Most Attractive:

Ok, no game for anyone here. Kougami is the male most attractive character of the series, even if Gino, jealous of that title, must have ordered that new cool ponytail cut to the hairdresser. And Sugou, he is something for sure (and so sweet!!! 😆😆)

And for the girls, even if Shion is explosive and Yayoi is the ice princess, Akane is and will always be my queen. That short haircut, the slender neck that neither a swan would rival, the chocolate eyes, her beautiful face, the slim figure…in a word, the grace personified. There’s only one way we can call her: A GLAMOUROUS WOMAN. Does this recall you something???? 😉😉😉

Character I Would Marry: No comment here. I already have a wedding ring on my finger.

Character I Would Be Best Friends With: 

Akane and Kagari. Great cooking/drinking time and a lot of videogames.

A Random Thought:  All my thoughts are projected to the next year. But if we want to talk about the past….when I saw the images of the first episode in season two, the one with the bomber, seeing his blue eyes, I  thought it was Kougami come back to challenge Sibyl (and I have to admit my idea had been influenced by a fic I was reading at that time). That was obviously my inconscious-not-too-inconscious me who wanted to see Kougami again and was worried about him for all the second season. Every episode I was like…where is Kougami? Why he isn’t here? Why hasn’t he come back? Has something happened to him? Nooo, Tougane!!! Stay away from Akane (this wame while watching the gym scene. The damned authors used the same flirty music they used in season one gym scene)

An unpopular opinion:

I know that many like to ship Kou with Sasayama, but there wasn’t anything like that between them (you should read pp zero to see it), Sasayama was like a big bro to Kougami and vice, this makes them a perfect BROTP for me.

About unpopular opinions… @lefterstein like your theory very much. I take the liberty of quoting it here:

“I used to theorize about how we perceive Shinkane as not canon bc we haven’t seen them do stuff, but that for all we (don’t) know they might’ve been secretly doing stuff hahaha like I wouldn’t be too surprised if it were to be revealed that they have done stuff all along. hence my answer for the next 2 questions”

God knows if they did something or not, anyway, despite people treating Akane as a pure and innocent kid, she was WELL AWARE of Kougami’s physique, like we openly saw in the gym episode and we read in the final part of the psycho pass book, when she looks sleeping Kougami and the author indulges on his look described by Akane’s memory. I’m stills screaming inside.

A Pairing I’m Not A Fan Of: All the invented pairings, but the most illogical is Kougami x Makishima. Kougami moved earth and hell to be able to kill him and threw away ALL that he kept as precious and someone still ships them? Mm, ok….(I’m turning my head away)

A character that is screwed up: I partially share @whatsyourcolor idea that all people in PP are screwed up except Akane. Though I would say that all the inspectors and enforcers are screwed up in PP. Considering what enforcers went through before taking their place in MWPSB and the pressure the inspectors have to face to keep the enforcers at their place, resolve cases, etc. none of them is fully sane mentally. Even Akane, she hallucinates about Kou, she smokes just to keep Kou’s scent on her, she talks with the dead images of Yuki, Masaoka, Kagari and Makishima. None is safe, only the happy, unaware citizen with a healthy PP.  

Favourite Friendship: Akane and Kagari. They were so sweet to look.

I mentioned this in the tags under that specific post already, but I guess repeating it won’t hurt, so! It happened during the End of Term Exam! (this is gonna be spoiler if you’re only watching the anime) All Might put them in the position where they ended up being forced to try, but it lasted less than 30 seconds before they broke apart - to set in somewhere in the canon exam... after Deku pulled Bakugou away but before their combined attack. Like, when they were coming up with a strategy to take All Might out they first tried fusing, but it just didn’t work and their time was too limited to try and force it.

Anyway if they were to try again now they’d probably last way longer, but at this point neither of them has felt the need to give it a try just yet haha

For the same reason actually adopting Mako took longer than it would have taken in normal circumstances, and even after they finally managed to bring her home they still had social assistants coming around randomly to make sure she was safe and healthy and loved/cared for way more often and for way longer than other adopting couples did. They still come around now and again, just to make sure. Taiyou’s situation was way easier anyway, since all these kind of problems were already dealt with when they adopted Mako!

Yeah, might be because Kuroo’s been MIA in the manga, the anime isn’t airing, the fandom is sorta asleep in general, when one does post art for that ship either it gets no feedback or all it gets is #brotp #I don’t ship this but #best friendship ever tags which takes away from the fun of posting it a lot

1. When playing an RPG or any game with RPG elements, what class do you typically choose? (e.g. mage, warrior, etc.)

I usually go for the mage or arcane mage/swordmage of some sort. I like having the best of both worlds, but I especially like throwing fireballs or lightning. Sometimes I choose a rogue. Never a warrior.

2. Who is your hero/role model and why?

It’s changed a lot throughout the years. Like as a kid it would be a celebrity like Gwen Stefani, she was seriously my idol for a really long time. It was because I loved her unique fashion and thought she seemed like a really sweet person, and I literally wanted to be her - a stylish singer in a rock band. But now? I don’t really have a role model or a hero. She seems like a sweet & nice person, but if I were young again now, I would not look up to her. I kind of think that’s a dangerous way to look at people anyway, because you can’t put people on pedestals. We’re all human and we all make mistakes and no one truly wants to have that big of a role. But if I have to pick, I would say I admire people who fight to make the world a better place. People who try to make a huge positive difference in the world, like Bernie Sanders or Barack Obama. But, again, they’ve made mistakes and shouldn’t be idolized.

3. Let’s play Fuck, Marry, Kill: Kaidan, Thane, and Solas; for my non-ME or DA playing friends, I say just guess if not look up YT videos of their romance xD

Oh, that’s easy. Fuck Solas, he would be such a good lay. Marry Kaidan, he’s not my fav at all, but he’d be a good husband for sure. And... kill Thane. Sorry Thane! Haha I know this is terrible, but he’s going to die anyway, so...

4. Are you a coffee or tea person?

I’m a coffee person all the way! I’ve never liked tea.

5. What was your favorite toy/object/trinket as a kid?

Hmm... I liked hot wheels, action figures, trucks, Littlest Pet Shop, and Barbies. My siblings were all much older than me, so I played with their old toys by myself before I really got into video games. I also had a tamogotchi lolololol Guess it all depends on what age you’re talking about here.

6. What do you envision for your life 10 years from now?

I have no idea... Hopefully living sort of near the SF bay area in a house I own with my boyfriend and some cats. And both of us working in jobs we like and travelling to a new city at least once a year. If the world isn’t entirely shit by then, maybe that can happen.

Ok so I don’t know when I wrote that because now I live near SF lol. BUT I’ll reanswer that and say 10 years from now I have no idea what my life will be, but I hope I will be in a cool trendy marketing job, or working with animals in some sort of setting. And still living on the west coast, but either closer to SF than I am now, or in a more hipster-y location like seattle...? or portland...? Or maybe even back on the east coast but near friends and family in NJ/NY? I don’t really know, 10 years is such a long time man. I never even know where I’ll be 1 year in advance. It literally all depends on our jobs. In general I’d like to live somewhere progressive and diverse and not overcrowded, but it seems that combo doesn’t exist. 

7. What is a secret talent that most people don’t know about you?

I am incredibly good at giving massages, but I hate receiving them. And also I’m not a very touchy-feely person, so I can’t even bank in on it as a career

8. What is your favorite moment in the Dragon Age Series/Mass Effect Series (whichever applies)?

Oh maaaaaaan that is an impossible question!! I think my fav moment was in Mass Effect hosting the Citadel DLC party. I got so much joy and fun out of that scene. It made ME3 so much better.

9. Name your OTP, NOTP, and BrOTP from any series

Goddddddd I have so many OTPS. Let’s go with Shepard x Garrus in Mass Effect, they are like my ride or die couple forever ever since 2015 when I first got into Mass Effect.

NOTP: I can’t think of anything specific because I usually don’t really care what people ship. I guess pretty much anything incest/underage is my NOTP though, I’m #nothereforthat srynotsry

BroTP: Hawke x Varric from Dragon Age as bros for life (F!Hawke or M!Hawke). I really like their friendship and you can still be bros with someone if you’re a girl if you ask me.

10. What is your favorite fanfic trope? (if you do not consume fanfic, then any sort of TV or novel trope)

Oh my godddd I am such a sucker for stupid shit like awkwardly being forced to share a bed or pretending to be married and then actually falling in love. I think that comes from reading and watching too much anime as a teen lmao. I also love a good slow burn, but not an angsty or excruciatingly slow one. I can’t roll my eyes enough when it’s too damn angsty.

11. What is one piece of advice you’d give to lepetitchoucommie canceriancommunist commiemood?

Hmm.....I don’t know if I have specific advice? I’m better at situational advice vs general advice. But I guess work hard at achieving your goals, keep an open mind, and do what makes you happy. <3 That’s pretty much my philosophy
