something else I wanted to point out in my post abt misogyny behind the scenes on the dsmp is how, when Niki first came forward very shortly after the dsmp ended to say there was a lot of misogyny from major male ccs behind the scenes, dt fans quickly accepted this as true because she didn't mention any names so it was easy to point fingers at wilbur or other men on the server and pretend her allegation didn't also very much implicate the dt, now that Connor, Sophie, Andi, and others have backed up Niki's claims of misogyny and confirmed that the dt were very much perpetrators of it as well they've suddenly stopped believing her

like idk I feel like nobody has mentioned Niki being basically the first to come out about the misogyny behind the scenes at all and how much of what she said lines up with what Connor said at the beginning of his stream, I just feel like it highlights the hypocrisy and contradictions from dt fans trying to justify why their faves couldn't possibly be perpetrators of misogyny

i think that Tired Eddie Kaspbrak is a completely different person from Sleepy Eddie Kaspbrak,,,,,, and it's quite soon into their relationship that richie meets and grows to understands both of them.

tired eddie kaspbrak comes home from his third overtime shift that week, grumpy because his boss doesn't know how to run a business and if eddie were in charge, maybe things would actually get done around there. tired eddie kaspbrak huffs and puffs about everything and anything and rants about his idiotic coworkers for 10 minutes straight or until he's run out of steam. tired eddie kaspbrak does not want to hear a joke about his mother, which richie learns the hard way, but learns nonetheless. the only place that tired eddie kaspbrak wants to be is in bed, and he falls asleep with his face all scrunched up and somehow, to richie's amazement, keeps the look on his face all through the night.

sleepy eddie kaspbrak on the other hand,,, richie usually meets him on the couch after eddie has insisted multiple times "yes, i'm still watching the movie, no i'm not falling asleep". sleepy eddie kaspbrak has attachment issues in that, once he has attached himself to richie's arm koala style, richie has issues in trying to get him to let go (i mean, not that richie wants him to let go, but sometimes it can be a real problem if richie needs to piss). sleepy eddie kaspbrak is the silliest to have conversations with, because even when richie says ridiculous things like "oh by the way, i signed us up to be foster parents for a whole family of guinea pigs from the animal shelter. all 12 of them are getting delivered on friday", because sleepy eddie kaspbrak will just cuddle up more and respond with something like "oh that's nice...." (the next morning he wakes up like 'WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE'RE TAKING IN 12 GUINEA PIGS' bc it took all night for him to process) as he dozes in an out of sleep. sleepy eddie kaspbrak also sometimes makes an appearance in the morning, when richie wakes up and tries to get out of bed and sleepy eddie kaspbrak will wrap his arms tighter around him and mumble a soft little "5 more minutes?" and richie has to remind him that he already asked for 5 more minutes, 10 minutes ago, and sleepy eddie kaspbrak just shrugs and nuzzles his face against richie's shoulder and mumbles "two more minutes, then" and of course richie can't argue with that. when richie does manage to get out of bed, sleepy eddie kaspbrak will wrap his arms around richie's waist from behind and rest his head against richie's shoulder, not before giving richie a soft kiss on the back of his neck, and stand there while richie makes coffee for them and richie laces his fingers with eddie's as sleepy eddie kaspbrak slowly wakes up.

I have a theory-----

So it always bothered ne how despite there being so many witches in Mitakihara, there only seem to be Mami (and kinda Homura) as magical girls in the city at the start of the show, like surely these witches come from an equivalent amount of magical girls right???

Welll what if- magical girls and witches cone in some sort of "waves" of despair- basically, kind of like highs and lows in stuff like market economics

Heres how i think it might work- Kyubey reveals himself to a girl, and there are 2 options-

1- She is a lonely person and has therefore a higher likelyhood of witching out or dying without a support network, or-

2- She has, to some kind of degree, close friends she can talk to about stuff like being a magical girl.

If option 2 happens, then even if the girl herself is the only one out of her friend group (or out of whoever is eligible in it anyway) who becomes a magical girl, then eventually when she inevitably enters into a dangerous situation, Kyubey will manipulate any eligible friends she has into making a wish for her (which constantly happens in the show)

Then, if a wish wasn't made, a new witch or at least dead magical girl wouldve been created without any friends joining as magical girls

The more likely situation i suspect though, is that a wish DOES get made, and then, when one of the friends gets into a dangerous situation again and none is there to make a wish to save them (which will inevitably happen because being meguca is suffering)-

One of them will die or witch out, starting a chain reaction because well, your friend just died in front of you, probably brutally, or instead went the non gorey (if nothing else) way of becoming a witch- both highlighting the futility of your cause AND making you use energy to defeat a new witch in an already bad for you situation.

Both cases are highly likely to make the entire friend group witch out this way, because of the collective downward spiral.

And again, lonely girls are known to be preyed on because they do not last long.

In short i suspect the show takes place right after these kind of "chain witchification" happened to many magical girls in Mitakihara, which Mami was not affected by because she is a lone veteran (despite her efforts)

Basically, I think Gertrude, H.N. Elly, Elsa Maria, and maybe one of the other less significant witches (not Charlotte tho we know what happened There...) were part of a magical girl squad that fell to despair

Heck, this chain reaction is even shown to happen in alternate tinelines the Quintet was together, Sayaka witches out, Mami breaks down bc of it and kills Kyouko and then dies (to Madoka), and then Madoka becomes a witch, and so too would have Homura if she could not time travel most likely, resulting in net 0 magical girls and only witches for a short amount of time.

Mitakihara could also just actually be really small and all the witches immigrate from Kazumino or something. idk. that would be boring though

dropping my whole au / rewrote of season 3 below

uh preface is im sleepy and its almost midnight, so like sorry if some parts dont make sense or whatever

uhh basically, instead of cass trying to like reach her destiny or whatever as like her Main motivation and the only reason to why she Evil and Malicious ive changed it so its more mixed in with her desire to protect rapunzel. i think moonstone cass is cool and i like the idea of her but i really just think her execution was poor mostly because it wasn’t built up as much as it shouldve been.

rewrote cass’s character slightly just so there more empathize on her idolization of her mother, and so when she learns the truth of why mother gothel left her, the knee jerk reaction to blame raps makes a little more sense.

Anyways, Season 3 cass deals with a lot of her issues, i think on the journey to get the moonstone something something happens and cassandra is told that if rapunzel comes in contact with the moonstone she will Implode. Like die. Return to being the sundrop. and cass is like oh fuck, shit, balls, I need to Protect her from Dying. So out of her intense Need to protect Rapunzel she yoinks the moonstone, and (still slightly pissed at raps for stealing her mom but not really she’s just trying to figure out her emotions + rapunzel needs to get away away from this rock) she goes into Evil mode.

Her villain arc is partly fueled by her anger at her own situation, always in second place. her desire to feel love and cherished and important rather than being the 2nd option. However, it is also fueled by her need to provide safety to her friends ,, even if it’s not the smartest choice. Moonstone Cass devotes her entire identify to being the cliche villain, so no one feels bad if like the solution to destroying the moonstone is killing her. she knows that logically the Zhan Tiri is manipulating her but 1. she idgaf and 2. she needs to learn how to control the moonstone’s power so she doesnt hurt her friends.

Tbh boiled now, it’s just cass isnt obsessive with mother gothel and mother gothel leaving her to kidnap a baby because it made like no sense for her character. like instead, moonstone cass grabbles with her identify and place in the world, who she is outside of rapunzel. Also she wants to learn more about her past, yknow, who mother gothel was and is she Worth getting upset over. spoiler she figures out that no, her bio mom sucks booty

Anyways, throughout my version of season 3, cass is trying to figure out a way to destroy the moonstone. She visits Rapunzel often too and pretends to be evil just so she can check in. She angry at her mom but not so much on rapunzel, maybe a little bit but probably more to with simply trying to crave out her identify outside of rapunzel. Same general plot beats happen in s3, but shes more grief driven than anger driven i suppose.

Theres probably a lot i forgot to like, reformulate in this especially w s3 bc i havent had the time to rewatch it and collect my thoughts that well. But, uh, hope u enjoyed. might yap more about my personal gripes with the show and how i think it shouldve been written.

also to add on i suppose, at the end of the series she gets exiled from corona officially, but lowkey comes back to hang out and after like a year every1 is like yeah okay i guess.

I don’t really know where I’m going with this, it’s kinda just a hunch I had.

There’s a difference between being called hot and being called beautiful.

Liam is beautiful, not hot. He has that classic prince look to him. He has that glow and that energy where you can tell he’s healthy, like he has a good diet and keeps his grooming in check and probably snacks on fruit. Like there’s Lana del Rey playing in the background whenever you look at him. He’s the guy that is so beautiful that he isn’t sexualised. Everyone looks at him from afar as this like being that’s so ethereal and classic that he isn’t on the same level as all of the ‘hot’ Instagram model types. It’s like comparing some guy from today to an actor from the 90s, the latter being Liam. Like he’s too angelic in his facial structure. So delicate like he belongs to an old painting or something. And people notice that and don’t put him in the same light as a guy they’d hook up with on a night out or some hot guy who’s passing on the street. His look is too pure and too beautiful, almost regal for that. He definitely smells very clean as well, like a shower almost. But then when you get him alone, and his hair has that bedhead tousle or he is sleepy in the morning, it’s sinful. Like seeing someone so pure and majestic crack a little.

Theo is hot, not beautiful. This may sound brutal but he’s the kinda guy you’d see and call him hot or sexy like a pornstar but he doesn’t have that regal, princely, from a painting vibe to him at all. He’s the guy you sexualise. His look isn’t pure or ‘beautiful’, it’s hot, and sexy. There’s a big difference. He’s more rugged and has a more dirty vibe, like he isn’t angelic or pure or delicate. He is more dark circles messy hair vibes. His voice is probably a little hoarse from smoking. He has that Instagram model vibe and you can tell his look is more ‘put on’, like he gels his hair and tries with outfits and wears a leather jacket and jeans that are a little tight and definitely oversprays with some dark smoky cologne.

I don’t know if this is a weird post or not, I could be chatting total shit so sorry if I it is but it’s just a hunch I had.

i do kinda see where you were going with this, yeah! i definitely think that there's a difference between how people perceive them. im not gonna go into much detail how they actually look, bc thats kinda just their actors and me personally, im not good at pointing out what people find attractive about them since.. i do not find either of them attractive (they're just random men to me and id say sorry but actually.. im not sorry) anyway!

liam does feel like this, for lack of a better phrase and at the risk of sounding cringe, good boy. like. he isnt very tall nor is he buff (yeah he has muscles but hes not like. Huge or anything bc of it) so at first glance he doesnt feel intimidating at all. i feel like his personality adds to this as well, bc hes very nice and gentle all of the time. and he can be a bit silly, too! i know that ppl often reduce him to his anger issues (the writers, the characters in the show and the fandom...) but we actually see him be sweet a lot. with hayden, with his friends, with his dad. he has this calm presence to him. i do feel like this adds to this aura you described, how people dont look at him and think "hot" but rather just, hey, thats a sweet guy.

and that he takes care of himself makes a lot of sense since hes a lacrosse player. do i think that everyone who plays sports at school automatically has a good diet, etc? no, obviously not. but lacrosse is extremely important to him and hes so fit due to his training, that scott & stiles mistake him for a were-creature. that he'd watch what he eats, gets enough rest, etc would make a lot of sense and we literally see him lifting weights and going on runs in the show. so him having a healthy look to him, definitely.

i do want to add that for me, his introduction plays a role here too. hes so young in s4 like. quite literally a child. and as someone who watched that as an adult, i obviously didnt even consider thinking of him like that. like his appearance quite literally doesnt matter to me bc thats a kid. (this is also the reason i dont feel comfortable writing explicit-rated fics that take place during s4-5. i only feel comfortable doing that for s6/post-canon.) so in my mind, hes automatically not anything even close to "hot" bc of the way he gets introduced.

theo, on the other hand, gets introduced in exactly the opposite way. some of his earliest scenes include malia commenting on his body, calling him "hot", him being naked multiple times... that scene of him undressing in front of malia is literally called "thirsting for theo" on the official youtube account. like. cant get much more obvious than that. and ive talked about theo getting sexualized and even sexualizing himself in another post (here) so i definitely agree with that. he uses his looks like a weapon. he counts on other people finding him attractive, he knows that he has every reason to be confident about it. he uses it to his advantage. and he has to unlearn that he doesnt have to seduce/intimidate people anymore and that hes allowed to be soft and gentle, too. that being vulnerable doesnt have to be scary, etc.

i think that hygiene is probably something hes very particular about. obviously we dont see the full extent of his homelessness, but hes always very put together (i think this is due to lazy writing, but let me pretend that there are canon reasons for it.) despite not having a reliable way to take care of himself, its important to him that the pack doesnt get to see him at his lowest. his hair is always styled, he shaves, he wears different outfits. he doesnt want anyone to notice in what a vulnerable situation hes in. post-canon, when hes not homeless anymore (either living on his own or with liam) i think he'd probably struggle a bit at first. having been homeless 100% had an impact on him, so maybe he'd struggle with being casual about it. always savoring that he has an immediate water source, that there's always enough soap, etc. switching between indulging in getting to always be clean and almost obsessing over it.

about his voice: i personally dont think he smokes, bc im just not a fan of that (if you hc that he does, thats cool!) but i do think that he has a deep voice sometimes. his voice is deeper in comparison to liams already and theres that one interview where tyler posey comments on cody christians voice sounding sexy and cody explains it by saying that hes tired. so. theos voice being hoarse after he wakes up or when hes about to go to sleep is my personal hc.

i think their differences here are very interesting when it comes to their relationship. theo definitely looks up to liam, is impressed by him and maybe almost idolizes him a bit. getting to see liam "crack" as you said, would probably make theo feel a lot of emotions. yeah, he'd find it attractive but also just getting to see liam when hes vulnerable, being allowed to see him when hes raw. that'd mean a lot to theo. and at the same time, liam getting theo to lose his persona and slowly helping him remove those walls, would make liam emotional too. getting to see underneath, getting to see theo when hes soft and not putting on a show.

No I get it, I get it! And yeah I think option 1 is the correct answer here, I think he's always had this interest in the occult but couldn't pursue it because he wanted to keep Hina safe more. He prioritised Hina and the future over his own passions. I actually don't think he entirely hated detective work though, the whole finding clues/ problem solving and figuring things out aspect seems to really suit him. It's just that doing work looking into occult stuff and researching on it is his passion.

Ngl I'm not overly keen on his final timeline look but I do think it was rather clever of Wakui. Naoto's ending shows he got a happy ending too, that he got to pursue his passion and wasn't just focused on protecting his sister, he got to live his own life which instead of dedicating it to saving her.

There's nothing wrong with Simon expressing emotions but canonly he keeps his composure most of the time, and even when being on the roof top while his friends were deciding his fate, he tried to appear as calm as possible and didn't cry. I love the idea of both of them being SO in love with each other. Simon doesn't understand why Markus is head over heels for such an average man, but in Markus eyes he's art. He's perfect. He becomes a mess anytime Simon flirts with him (if he picks up on it that is, cause most of the time he's stupid and doesn't know he's flirting with him)

She is still a vampire ! Part of the time, anyway ! In her main universe/the main universe i write with her in she is a human but ! i do have an AU i poke around in sometimes w/stories where she's a vampire still bc its Very important to me that she gets to keep her vampirism somewhere u know x3

The Curse(tm) depends on the type/'rank' of vampire in most my universes that i write w/them.

Lillian, for example, was changed by a man who held a moderate amnt of control over her following the change. While under his influence/control she could only drink blood n was unable to go out during the day w/out it severely burning her.

Killing him herself n drinking some of his blood basically released her from him + buffed her vampy powers up a bit. She can eat normie human food sometimes w/out getting sick and sunny days just feel like when you go outside w/a not-quite-healed sunburn- warm, tingly, hurts a little bit but its bearable. some of this is due to alien tech given to her by her husband tho to help her deal w/negative side effects.

there are also...alien vampires in this universe which are responsible for introducing vampirism to earth many centuries ago. they don't typically come to earth themselves but lilly's daughter is friends w/a few of them =3

some of these alien vamps don't really suffer many negative effects at All and have more abilities ( can turn into various beasts, teleport, turn invisible, ect ) but others are weaker than ur average earth vampire. it just depends !

ooh also if u do not consume enough blood, even if you are able to eat human food n have been doing so, you can go into a frenzied starvation mode. when this happens, people lose control of themselves and seek out a food source indiscriminately.

lets see... what else... vamps can feed off other vamps but its not as effective/does not taste good... there are some alien species w/highly prized blood... holy water and the like mostly only effects lower tier vamps and only rly works bc of the strong emotional energy behind the process of making the vamp hunting items... silverware tastes extremely bitter and acidic to them... a weaker vamp could paralyze a stronger one if their venom was different enough...

i kno there is more but. sleepy....... sleepy... i am so VEWY sleepy so im sorry if this sounds rambly or doesnt make sense DX TY AGAIN a lot for the question ;w; i havent talked this much abt oc stuff publically in 500000 yrs no joke lol
