Episode one: What a silly idea.

Lightbulbs POV:

While cleaning out my room, i felt my phone buzzed. I picked it up my phone and checked who it was. I hope it’s painty!!! Oh. Oh! It was some unknown number. Maybe a scammer..? Fan told me to never answer them because of some tracking crap or whatever. He’s just a little anxious when it comes to things on the internet.. I open the text.

“Hmmm… Huh..” I thought but i wasn’t even reading it. I looked away thinking to myself. It said something about helping someone study some new medicine…. Sounds like something Test tube would ask. I looked back at the text and saw the words ‘Reward.’ OH!! I do like rewards..

Some time later.

I called up Fan and he came right over so my room. “What’s up?” Fan walked into my room. “Oh hey! Oh ya wait…” I said pulling up the text. “Look!!!” I shoved the phone into fans face. “Agh!” Fan flinched. He grabbed my phone gently and started reading the text. Mid way through reading he let out a sigh. “Lightbulb.. what did i tell you about…wait..” Fan locked his eyes on the text. “So…? What do you think!” I said with excitement. “Well… ok let me explain this.. what this ‘unknown number’ is basically telling you is if you wanna participate in a group project where you basically test out certain types of meditation for small illnesses for things like the flu or a small cold, and most the time at the end of all the testing you get a reward like some cash.” Fan said, but i don’t think i was really listening. “OH!!! Ok i have a good idea!! Us, the bright lights, SHOULD SIGN UP!!! And when we get that reward we throw a huge party for everyone at the hotel!!” I yelled. Fan stared at me, then an idea popped into his head. “Wow lightbulb! That actually sounds amazing!! Really kind of you since it’s almost the hotels 3rd anniversary since Oj got it! We should totally do that!” He snapped back with excitement. Oh right.. that anniversary thing IS soon. “Y-ya!! that’s exactly what i’m saying!” I replied nervously. Fan just stared at me. He totally knew that wasn’t my plan. “Well alright then i’ll call everyone up and we can all meetup at the address they sent!!” I happily said. Fan nodded and left to go get ready. This is gonna be great all of us get to get together and have fun and talk and it’s all for a good cause. We’ll surely get to know each other more! Then again. What a silly idea.

A lil chat about my Pinkie’s senses AU:

Imma be real. The story is so clustered up.

I be trying to world build and tell a story at the same time (take notes, artists, do not do multiple things at once like me, and flesh it out before you post about it, no matter how excited you are to share your story)

A lot of story elements here that I’m throwing in isn’t supposed to be random, but instead tie into things that I would later draw out (which I haven’t yet, I’m on hiatus)

I’m well aware the story is poorly constructed, I was excited to make a story with details I wanted drawn in (which can make or break a story, and in my case, it’s kinda breaking it (plan out and organize details and stuff, focus on developing the plot before you throw in side stuff, you’ll confuse your audience if you’re still establishing the main plot))

A lot of artists loooooove details, sometimes to the T, but sometimes focusing on useless details you like or aren’t important to the main plot should be moved to the side until you have gotten the important details and plot worked out.

Yes, I could make the excuse that it’s incomplete, that I hadn’t even gotten started yet, but people are right about it being clustered, confusing, and out of order lol. I still love my AU, I enjoyed making it, and it’s taught me a lot about writing through first hand experience.

And yes, commenters are right about it being shit, it sucks to hear, but I can’t deny that I made the story absolutely confusing as cluck.

Also yes, I’m on a big hiatus, sorry fellas, the AU is gonna remain shit until I save it or make it worse lol

The kids are finally here, yay. I promised I'd show you them, and I finally stopped being an asshole and followed through. Almost got 200 followers and I'm very grateful for it - really, I'm nobody. I'm just some clown who says dumb stuff and makes dumb memes and writes cringey stories, and yet I convinced almost 200 people to tune in. Thank you all so much, users on here and anons in my inbox alike. As a token of appreciation, you can all endure my rambling about my OCs and witness a person in their early 20s draw like a 12 year old.

The boy is Pepper Jack (or Pepper Jack Cookie). He's the firstborn and older than his sister by a few years. He takes after his mother in a lot of ways, primarily in her appearance (save for nabbing his father's red eyes). He's incredibly bright (and a smartass lol), preferring to think his way out of conflict rather than fight his way out... not that he's above violence at all, if that glaive doesn't give it away lol. He harbors a deep sense of love and loyalty towards his family and his peoples, and carries the weight of his responsibilities and heritage with as much confidence and poise as he can muster. (There are/will be times where he stumbles, of course. He's not perfect. He struggles a lot more than he lets on, really. But he tries his best, for everyone's sake.)

The girl is Matar Paneer (or Matar Paneer Cookie). Again, she's the younger one by a few years. She was all but made in her father's image, save for inheriting her mother's eyes. She's a little firecracker: lively and fun-loving and stubborn as a mule. She doesn't ask "can I have/do this thing", she tells you "I'm going to have/do this thing". Golden is proud as anything to see her daughter be so greedy... until that greed comes into conflict with her and Spice's authority lol. But she's a good kid, despite being such a handful. She has an enormous heart and is not afraid to stand up for others/what's right, and she loves her parents and brother more than anything in the world. She might doubt her own capabilities, she might secretly fear that she's not strong enough to do what she needs to... but she keeps pushing anyway, because she'd honestly choose death over quitting.

Your eyes are not deceiving you, Pepper Jack's wings are blue lol. There's an actual reason for that. And that USO (Unidentified Sitting Object) in Matar Paneer's hair is a lotus (the cheese one in the GCK decor set lol). There's a reason for that, too. I thought it would be cool to give Jack a glaive and swap out the normal blade for that of a khopesh sword (glaives are not Egyptian, they only saw use in Asia and Europe, but I just HAD to give him a glaive), to add that Egyptian touch. Paneer's supposed to be wearing a pattu pavadai, it's a traditional Indian dress for young girls. It's a blouse plus a skirt. She's holding katar, Indian knives (Cilantro Cobra has them, too). And her hair's supposed to be in a low ponytail.

Merchant thinks that if they explain what their terrible drawings are supposed to convey, people will understand their intended vision and the pain will stop

I sat down and did research into both Egyptian and Hindu mythology for the sake of drawing inspiration for them both. I'll explain in detail in another post, but basically: both of them take after one Egyptian god and one Hindu god each. Golden takes after Ra and Spice takes after Shiva, so I figured I'd follow along that line.

Please flood my inbox with questions about them now. I've really been dying to talk about them for ages now. I've drafted extensive character sheets for them both, I even made up in-game descriptions for them lol. They're my little fankid blorbos and I love them :') I hope you all come to love them, too

(Also, I'm sorry they're on lined paper. I'm visiting family rn and that's the only paper my grandmother has in her house. I'd have to drive to a stationery to get printer paper and I'd really rather not drive in this particular country lol (shit roads, even shittier drivers). I'll doodle them on printer paper whenever somebody remembers to bring me some)

Velvet and Veneer Redesign!

I absolutely LOVE them, but the outfit of the movie wasn't giving it enough you know? It looks plain. Where are the colors, the glamour and the fashion the Trolls franchise have?? Since I looked at some concept art from them i couldn't forget about it , guys we've been robbed like what?? The concept arts are amazing 😭

Veneer is supposed to have star shaped glasses on the main drawing but I forgot them sorry, poorly drawn at this one but they exist 🥺 anyway here are some more things my empty mind thought about:

-VENEER:

◉ Is as cocky and vain as he appear to be. Veneer it's a total attention seeker, being arrogant and proud of his fame.

◉ Sometimes will play dumb or innocent, but in reality he's very aware of he's doing, only being manipulative to get away of some situation (At the final scene where he confess to everyone of Mount Rageous, Veneer would only be doing that to appear innocent at the moment and gain the favor of the public. But as he proceeded to get arrested anyway, he would get mad as he was dragged out of stage) .

◉ When training his dances, purposely would bring Floyd with him to bounce him around, or only keep him on the corner to watch his rehearsal, asking how he did when finished.

◉ Contract song writers to write the lyrics of their songs but don't even pay or give them credit.

◉ More gay than never 💅

-VELVET:

◉ Their PR team wanted them to use similar outfits but they both refused to it, instead they go to the opposite. Mainly with Velvet saying she didn't wanted to look the same as Veneer.

◉ They were famous for some time before the movie events, only recording songs and selling them. But as the fame grew, the public wanted shows, and as they only used auto tune (lol) they couldn't do them. As a result, Velvet came to the solution of using Trolls to help them sing when doing shows.

◉ She's the one who keeps Veneer in check to keep the mask of the "nice guy" when he gets stressed or irritated with something to not taint their reputation.

◉ Velvet likes to sing more on the songs, but Veneer also likes to do it, so frequently they fight for the highest notes or song time.

◉ Prefers to do her nails and hair while Veneer rehearsal his dancing, not liking to "sweat without reason".

◉ Post dramatic reels on Instagram (or Rageousgram? Idk).

◉ Still the same brat as the movie, but the trouble is double now with Veneer.

Agnes: the refsheet is THREE years old but still holds up pretty well! main physical traits: big squarish nose, very long hair (usually tied up) and round glasses. too many drawings and doodles of her to count

Ryan: oh man, his hair. his hair. it's given me trouble from the very beginning of his conception. i'll spare you all the phases it went through lmao. main physical traits: broken nose, wide face and that little bit of chin stubble. a few drawings

Lisabel: one of my most recent OCs, so she only has these two official drawings. she uh, likes to squint a lot appearently. main physical traits: short hair, sharp nose and glasses. since i don't have a proper ref for her, i'm thinking of changing the glasses and make them a different shape to differentiate her more from her sister

Eric: i need to draw him more ;;;W;;; main physical traits: big, bald, graying beard. unsure about the scar

Léan: only this image of them exists, sorry 😔. main physical traits: short hair, braces (not depicted) and freckles (also not depicted)

Rask'r: you might recognise that werewolf form! :³ main physical traits: feathers sticking out of places where they shouldn't, red eyeshadow (natural skin color) and filed-down facial horns. another one of my go-to OCs to doodle

Raz: okay yes i like to draw men with long hair, sue me. these drawings are the very first ones i did and i haven't drawn him ever since. the fact that he looks too much like Ryan bugs me, so i may rethink his design from scratch some time in the future. main physical traits: unkempt spiky sideburns, hairy body and raggedy clothes

Donovan: another man with long hair, and another character i've only drawn once. planning on adding more undeadness to his looks. main physical traits: straight thin black hair, slightly translucent skin and clouded black eyes

Lee: oh my son! my child! my baby! my dearest boy! main physical traits: uncanny longness, very thin body, thick forelimbs, round head, hands on both arms and legs, no nose, big eyes and teeth. another of my go-to OCs to doodle :3

Vreytus: oh man. i have sooo much unfinished stuff of him. he's got these patterns on his fur that i'm never happy with, regardless of how many times i try designing them. frustrating. main physical traits: two pairs of wood-like horns, long proportions, the aforementioned patterns and a tail that's longer than his own body, ending in a tuft

Human form Vreytus: haven't drawn him yet so here goes a quick description: a tall black man with long black braids. haven't figured out his clothing but imagine something flowy with green earthy tones

Bug: another design in the oven. it's supposed to be a mix-n-match of different arthropods but i have trouble with busy designs. main physical traits: uhhh pretty much everything

Human form Bug: haven't drawn them yet, but i do have a general idea of their appearence. an androgynous short young white person with a buzzcut (not human hair, it's actually bristles lol) and black irises. dresses up very simply/poorly

Voirdity: mischievous thing. may or may not be related to unspeakable horrors. who knows! main physical traits: short, B&W palette, hidable arms, skull helmet, leathery robe, head with no eyes (ignore that one doodle), bristle mullet, zygodactil feet

Voirds (species): Voirdity's eyes. can take any avian shape. main physical traits: void-like black body with wisp/flowy elements, white legs, wings and tail feathers, skull-like head with black empty eyes

Chad: bastard. main physical traits: kept sideburns, balding, buff except for his badly scarred left arm (not pictured)

Lewis: softest man you'll ever meet. main physical traits: light-brown hair (usually on a ponytail), blue eyes, fat, unshaved stubble, frog mouth

favorite character:

okay you probably saw this one coming but. yes. the rumor come out. i enjoy yellow face immensely. and it's not just because hes a silly goober guy (even though he is that too); it's mostly because i think he fits my personal favorite character archetype of "morally dubious business guy who's at least a little bit mentally unstable" particularly well, specifically in the sense that he does it in a way that isn't the stereotypical "sophisticated mastermind bad-boy sexyman" schtick... like. he's weird. he's unapologetically weird. he's a very non-standard character design in a world of already unorthodox characters, and he manages to give off an ominous yet innocuous vibe without being too on-the-nose about it; and on top of that, the show doesn't even really take it too seriously, so it doesn't really overstay its welcome for me :) also i just think hes really cute lol

alright this is a really unpopular opinion.. i get why people like them, but i just. don't, personally. since x is in another entry i'm just gonna cover four here. for starters, i really don't like four's voice; it's the one "annoying" voice in the series that i just can't look past.. besides that, though, i feel like his redemption arc & sympathetic portrayal in post-split doesn't really make sense for his character? because he doesn't really seem to feel bad, and the rest of the characters just. instantly forgive him without any notion that he actually intends to improve as a person... and then he doesn't, because in tpo.t, he goes right back to hurting people the exact same way with absolutely no consequences or remorse; basically making that whole arc irrelevant. like.. something's not adding up here. either post split or tpo.t's portrayal is incorrect.

didn't like at first:

this one was kind of a tough choice for me because i don't remember ever genuinely disliking a contestant when i initially got into this show? but i can say that i did find gelatin to be kind of. annoying. and the best part is that it's for a really silly reason that, in retrospect, doesn't even make too much sense? like. okay i first got into this show in middle school, and my first ever season was b.fb, and when i first saw it i was a HUGE donut stan (part of me still is LOL); so when i saw him yelling at gelatin all the time i just sort of. inexplicably started disliking gelatin for absolutely no reason. literally that's it that's the whole reason i initially didn't like gelatin. anyways hes one of my favorite characters now and honestly i couldn't tell you why (also sorry hes. very poorly drawn in this image. it was my first time drawing a lot of these characters)

would like to know more about:

golfie!! i like her a lot; i related to her a bunch when i first watched the show (especially since my best friend at the time was basically a carbon copy of tennis ball), and i'm really intrigued by her need for constant control over everyone on any given team she's part of, and how she began her career in science/inventing! it seems interesting that more recent bfd.ia seems to make this dichotomy between her and tennis ball, suggesting that she's more skilled than he is and/or has been inventing things for longer than he has.. also ofcourse there's the whole science museum "bozo" debacle from i.dfb, which shouldn't come as a surprise in that it intrigues me just as much as everything else about her character... maybe that's why she's so obsessed with being in control? also who the hell was after her in that scene?

least favorite character

people are really not gonna like me for this, but i genuinely hate x with every fiber of my being LMAO.. while it is mostly for personal reasons, it's also because 1. much like four, i find his voice really annoying, and 2. he kind of. never really does anything. he's sort of just a plot device at best, and at worst he literally just stands there and does nothing. even when he's the host in b.fb 9, he's tragically inept and does nothing of note at all. he's barely a character without four around (he literally sits down and gives up in the last few episodes of b.fb), and it's really disappointing because he could've been an interesting character foil to four! but he just. wasn't. all he really was is a "cute uwu cinnamon roll".

like the design, dislike the character

okay this one's a little biased because i'm still mad that bomby was partially why yellow face got eliminated in bfd.ia 9, but besides that, i think a bomb character is a really good concept!! a contestant that's both useful in a practical sense and useful in terms of themselves as an individual!! ...too bad bomby is basically just 2 running jokes in a bomb-shaped trenchcoat. literally, as far as i'm concerned, the only time he's ever actually done anything is when he explodes; and besides that he's just sort of. there to fill up empty space (and also get yellow face eliminated that one time in the stupidest possible way). i get it, it's an object show, but i really would've enjoyed bomby a lot more if he had a distinct personality instead of being. well. little more than an object.

like the character, dislike the design

this one i also struggled with but i eventually settled on naily! in terms of her character, i think she's an absolute delight to watch, and she's one of the rare instances of a running joke not overstaying it's welcome and actually seeming charming and witty!! i think she's a good example of a quirky and cute yet mischievous character, which i see a lot of people attempting to do with characters of their own and missing the mark just a little bit. in short, she really does nail it in terms of characterization!! the only gripe i have though is her design.. something about how her legs are kind of. behind each other. and how her face/head is just. flat. it really doesn't sit right with me.. and i don't even really know how i would change it! it's just.. slightly offputting to me.

similar personality

ironically (due to my previous entry), i think that the character i'm most like in terms of personality is price tag!! i consider myself to be pretty expressive and upbeat (or at least, i try to be a lot of the time; if i get too stoic i tend to get sad and that kinda results in a Not Great Time™), and as you might've been able to tell by the things i do here on this blog, i'm just a bit mischievous. a little bit silly. one might even say devious. but what you don't know is that in most situations where there's a bit of a problem, i tend to try and think of the most creative but rational solution (doing so, as far as i'm aware, results in a higher chance of compromise among others)! (also, yes, i can indeed do the :3 face)

fav ship

i've been a fries/puffball enjoyer since day 1, i'm not even gonna lie here LMAO.. to be fair, i enjoy a lot of other ships very immensely, too, but something about the fact that they seem to respect each other as equals and be on the same page a lot of the time just really gets me... like. they give power couple vibes; instead of trying to gain some sort of leverage over the other or reveling in the leverage they might already have over the other, they seem to decide to be strong together and sort of. combine their strength. and yeah i know people are gonna argue "b-but c.oinpin!!" well what about the bfd.ia thing from tpo.t 2. they never actually resolved that. dont even get me started on f.ireafy (someone else made a really good post on them) or t.engolf ("gb always said it was handy to treat your friend like a tool!!!") p.uffries forever lol

oh this one's biased as hell because. you know how i am about yellow face. but i actually have a legitimate reason to dislike y.ellowclock besides that!! okay so i made an analysis document that i've never released here regarding yellow face as a character, and while making that document i noticed that. during tpo.t 2, when clock is bitching about winner leaving to go recover bottle, yellow face backs away, which, to me, implies that he's. kinda sick of clock's shit. he doesn't wanna deal with his and winner's drama. and then in tpo.t 3 he straight up says clock is a boring person. and yeah people cite that episode as like. y.ellowclock genesis or whatever. but then if that was true then what the hell is up with yellow face in tpo.t 10? he still doesn't seem to care about clock and winner!! honestly it just never made any sense to me..

would befriend irl

okay im gonna be honest. i really like two as a host.. i liked them from the beginning!! even when they were kinda snarky and condescending, they were a lot nicer than four, and were even willing to give up their power as a prize for a silly little contest!! and that's not even mentioning their dynamic with gaty and their sympathy towards clock in tpo.t 7.. just. they genuinely seem really generous and caring and i think they'd be really cool to hang out with and talk to... coincidentally they're also one of my favorite characters (and my favorite host as well) so that's a plus also; 10/10 would help them plan the next beefy die season

would never befriend irl

even though i love blocky with all my heart as a character, i don't think i wanna be involved in potentially lethal pranks... it would either end in him killing me or both of us going to jail forever.. or, alternatively, if i tried to go the "i can fix him" route, i'd end up paying an ungodly amount of money for his therapy bill (i doubt he'd pay with his own money, even though his show probably makes a lot of money lmao) and then just never get paid back... or, alternatively, i'd end up in the same boat as woody when he joined the blocky corporate conglomerate (at least, prior to b.fb 29.. actually i feel like i should mention that i'm talking specifically about blocky pre-split and back, he actually seems pretty okay in post-split)

Sorry for the ramble in your inbox incoming- I'm a really huge fan of your analysis type posts like the ones about Cathal and recently Flint ;A; So I hope its ok to maybe throw in my own 2 cents about Cogs/their society- (Sorry this gets rambly I thought about this last night and writing this like an hour after waking up lol)

I think what alot of people kind of (I wouldnt say ignore- more of:) don't really get is that I dont believe characters like Cathal or Flint have bad tendencies because they really want to in a way, (I kind of worded that poorly but point is) but because their society rewards and encourages that type of behavior. I think you said something kind of similar on Cathals post- But especially for Flint, whose a Bossbot (Who are literally the embodiment of a toxic workplace and elitism. I believe a old snippet from the TTO magazines says "They have no real skills of their own, just the ability to push down others and stay on top!" Or something to that nature.) he has to be demanding and imposing. There is no benefit to him in being kind. (Like looking at Misty for example) And don't get me wrong I don't believe that if Flint and Cathal were removed from Cog society they'd be better/objectively nicer (Like Flint not being condescending to Toons and Cathal not making people do things for him and being encouraged to try) But I do wonder how much of it is pressure, or how much of it is egged on and rewarded. Atleast in the aspects it relates to how they treat others.

(..And also I wonder what happens to Cogs that don't get jobs and are seen as ..not functioning. Since Graham was freaking the hell out in "Meeting Of Two Minds" over the possibility of not getting the job. I have a whole thing about this actually in my oc lore but thats another thing entirely I'll write about someday I swear)

Also I gasped when I saw the doodle of Graham in the MSI shirt finally a MSI listener Graham truther. I think he'd like the album "How I Learned To" and of course "You'll Rebel To Anything". I associate him mainly with the songs "Lights Out", "On It", and "You're No Fun Anymore" :p (This has been my favorite band since I was like 13 and now I get to spill all my opinions xD) I always imagined him doing the guitar backbend their bassist does! And my final hc is that Flint plays bass and Graham plays the main guitar. I think it fits them .. some people overlook bass when its actually pretty hard to learn from what I hear and vital to the song. (Like heres Feel Good Inc w/o the bass.. feels wrong x_x)

THe biggest issue with Cogs Inc is that it REWARDS and ENCOURAGES these poor behaviors, worsening these characters as people. ESPECIALLY cathal considering the position of power they’re in. I’m sure it applies to a ton of other cogs too, but unfortunately I haven’t gotten to them yet bc I’m not as insane abt them . LMAO

And yeah since cogs are literally built for work, it’s a wonder what happens to those who can’t find a job as easily as others. Hoping that gets built on since it’s clear in MOTM that these cogs have to actually apply and go to interviews and probably face some trial and error to land a job, just like people IRL.

ALSO. THE BAND HCS. I love it and you’re SOOOO RIGHT about the backbend that is so grahamcore. And yes I’m pretty sure Flint does play bass, I think his creator mailman said smth abt that on their blog . AND IM SO GLAD YOU BROUGHT UP FEEL GOOD INC bc i did draw flint in a demon days shirt in that same animatic . And ive def drawn them in the same shirt a couple times in the past too . I’ve always imagined him to be a Gorillaz fan, maybe graham too

This day started so poorly with things from the past resurfacing, chronic pain being worse than usual, uni absolutely screwing me over

I haven't drawn in so long, I used to draw every single day for hours. When I saw this post today I just laughed, said "lol me" and went back to doing my stuff.

When I found myself almost having an anxious breakdown with no ability to memorize anything I remembered it, dropped everything and drew for a bit [tbf longer than I planned on]

Not only did I calm down and felt joy I also actually memorized things once I went back to studying

I have something silly. Nanami x demon!reader where Yuji, Nobara and Megumi summoning a demon arguing about it's validity when reader appears in the middle of the room when the ritual is finished. Reader just poofed out of Nanami's arms while reading before bed lol

warnings: not much with the exception of one suggestive line, still... MDNI; Canon divergence (Nanami is the trio's teacher); not proofreaded because I was lazy and just wanted to post something. wc: 2.2k a/n: this was supposed to be a short drabble, but I went a little bit overboard with it? 😬 ALSO, Here's a Nanami fanart to accompany the fic, because that's exactly what I imagine he looks like in bed, waiting for his wife.

"You're doing it wrong!"

"No, I'm not! I read this page over a hundred times! We did everything it says in here!"

"So you'll read a book on demon summoning multiple times, but five pages on the subject of our group project is too much for you?" Megumi interjected from his spot splayed on a couch that had seen batter days while his friends argued about the merit of an old book they had stumbled upon when they had gone scouring through a flea market earlier that day.

He was completely dismissed as both Yuji and Nobara seemed to be too engrossed into their own heated discussion.

"No, you're not! The circle you drew is crooked and I'm pretty sure you're pronouncing the Latin wrong." She pointed to the weird shaped drawing made on the ground where a rug had been haphazardly pushed to the side of the room.

"Weren't you the one who drew the symbol?" Megumi remarked again, hiding his amusement at their antics behind a well crafted poker face.

"Yeah! You even insisted on using the orange crayon to do it!" Yuji indicated the same poorly drawn symbol, "and why don't you do the incantation then?!" he challenged, chin pointing upwards and arms crossing in front of his chest.

Megumi scoffed at Itadori's evident selective hearing, but chose not to interfere any further. He'd rather let the two idiots sort that out by themselves.

"You know what? I will! Gimme the damn book!" Nobara almost ripped the tome from the pink-haired boy, her expression one of resoluteness.

"Hey! A 'please' would have been nice, Kugisaki."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Nobara dismissed Yuji with a wave of her hand, focus already turned to the yellowed pages of the leather bound book in her hands.

She cleared her throat theatrically before launching into a passionate monologue in also atrociously pronounced Latin, as instructed per said book.

The closure of her speech was followed by a hefty silence, the three of them holding their breaths in anticipation, even Megumi leaned forward in his seat.

...

"Huh. Guess this is just fake then." Nobara was the first to speak as her shoulders fell, the tension releasing from her previously tense muscles.

"I was so sure it was gonna work." Yuji's voice was small with defeat, a small pout forming on his lips, "Maybe demons aren't real?"

Megumi stood up and sighed, a bored look on his face. "I could have said that from the beginning."

"I always knew this wouldn't work." Nobara said matter-of-factly, throwing her short hair over her shoulder and swiftly closing the book.

"That wasn't what you said earlier." Megumi pointed out.

"You know what, Fushiguro?"

"I'm kinda hungry now." Yuji interrupted with a frown before Nobara could do anything harsh, which wasn't a far fetched possibility considering her aggravated expression and perch for violence.

"Oh! We should try that new soba place by the plaza! I heard they open late!" The seemed to work as she immediately perked up, beaming at Yuji.

"We could catch the late night showing of Human Earthworm 4 after that!" His reply was just as excited.

"Haven't you already seen that movie three times?"

"It's a good movie!"

"Right. Because it isn't just like all the previous ones."

"Hey! It's completely different! It shows a fresh view on the inner turmoil of the human experience from the perspective of-

"Guys!" Megumi interrupted their bickering, but he wasn't looking at either of them. Instead, he glared at the person standing right in the middle of the circle they had drawn.

"Hi." You waved timidly, unsure of how to get out of the circle uncomfortable situation you were put in.

。。+゜゜。。+゜゜。。+゜゜。。

You stopped by the threshold to your room upon the scene displayed in front of you.

Nanami Kento laying in bed with his back against the bedframe looking absolutely breath taking in his matching pajama set with his hair down, face unusually soft and eyes focused on the book on his hands.

He didn't even look up, merely patting the empty side of the bed, beckoning you into joining him. You grinned contently before setting into motion. Who were you to deny this beautiful man of anything?

You climbed onto the bed on your knees, lifting his arm closest to you so you could lay on his chest. He chuckled at your silly endearing demeanor, glancing at you briefly and placing a soft peck to the top of your head once you were properly settled, arms thrown over his middle, one leg over his and ear poised right over his left pec, his heartbeat a comforting sound.

"How did I ever get so luck?" You mused quietly, fingernails drawing random shapes against his covered stomach.

Kento hummed soothingly a soft smile upon his lips, "if anything I'm the lucky one, love."

Nuh-uh. I hit the jackpot with you, Ken. You're not only the sweetest man on this earth, but you're also so, so pretty!"

"Oh, I'm pretty?"

"The prettiest! And it doesn't hurt that you're willing to bend me over the table and absolutely ravish me when I visit you in your office at work every once in a while."

Nanami nearly chocked at your bluntness before he started laughing, the sound one not many had ever had the pleasure of listening to. Possibly your favorite sound.

"Anytime, sweetheart." He acquiesced as soon as his laughter died down.

"Don't mind if I take you up to that."

"You're a menace."

"I-"

And then you were gone: *poof*

One second laying snugly against the chest of your husband and then, the next standing inside a demon summoning circle in a poorly illuminated room along with three of Kento's students.

"Wha- what are you doing here?" Yuji questioned, brows furrowed in confusion.

"I was just... umm... oh! Kento asked me to check what you guys were up to."

"We weren't up to anything!" Nobara called, nervous over the thought of their strict sensei discovering they had been messing around with the occult.

"We were just, umm, studying?" Yuji threw in, also alarmed. He tried to subtly move closer, one feet sliding by the ground to reach the crayon dust so he could attempt and erase it without your notice.

Except you'd have noticed it either way, considering you were very much aware of the constriction the circle put on you.

"Wait. Don't erase it yet." Megumi blurted, also stepping closer but to stop Yuji with a hand to his shoulder instead. "Why aren't you moving? And where did you even come from?" He questioned you, protectively pulling Itadori away.

You winced, knowing there was no way you could come up with an excuse to the plight you found yourself in.

"I came from the door?" You tried anyway.

"We would have heard and seen it if that had been the case." Megumi was unyielding with his grilling, eyes seething, "tell us the truth."

"Megumi! What are you doing?! That's Nanamin's wife!" Yuji hissed at his friend, terrified that would get them in trouble with their stern teacher.

"Yes. And she's also appeared out of thin air into the room where you were performing a ritual and is coincidentally standing right inside the demon summoning circle Nobara drew."

"You can't possibly think-"

"You're a demon?!" Nobara finally clicked it all together, her voice shrill with shock.

"No, I'm-" You cut yourself off, glancing at each of the teenagers surrounding you before sighing in defeat. They were smart kids, there was no way you would be able to beguile them in this situation, "well, shit. Guess the cat's out of the bag, huh?"

"I know it would work!" Nobara whispered to herself, but it was still loud enough for everyone in the room to hear if Megumi's flat response was to be taken into account:

"You just said the exact opposite."

"I d-"

"Listen," you cut them off before they could start arguing further, you were literally in your pajamas, tired from the day and craving a night of sleep beside the love of your life. "I can explain. Just wipe off the circle so I can maybe move out of here?" You suggested, pleading eyes on Yuji (the most susceptible to your pleading).

"Yuji," Megumi sharply put a stop to his friend, "don't."

"But-"

"We don't know if it's safe." He continued, not once letting you out of his sight.

"Guys, I'm exactly the same person you've always known. Just... not human."

The three teenagers stared at you with different degrees of bewilderment. You threw your hands up in exasperation

"You know what? Just call Kento, please." was your suggestion. "If you don't trust me, at least you'll trust you sensei, won't you?"

"I... suppose." Megumi nodded once, still unsure, trading a glace with a shrugging Yuji.

"I'll call him." Nobara picked up her cellphone her glare settled on you. "Don't you dare trying anything!"

"I won't. I promise."

She huffed, narrowing her gaze and placing her phone at her ear. Kento picked up after two rings.

"Nanami sensei! Hi! So... we have your wife here" Nobara halted as if unsure on how to proceed. "inside a demon summoning circle," apparently, she decided to go for honesty.

There was a brief pause before you heard his voice from the other side of the line.

"Text me the address. I'm on my way" and then he hung up.

"He's-"

"On his way. Yes, I heard." You sighed, deciding to sit cross-legged on the floor to wait, in the limited space you had.

"You heard? I'm right beside Nobara and couldn't hear anything." Megumi seemed more curious than cautious then.

"Perks of being a demon, I guess. He's probably already inside his car by now. Send him the address please, Nobara."

She did as you told, finger flying over the screen.

"That's so cool! What else can you do?" Yuji sat down as well, leaning forward slightly, eyes wild in wonder and you couldn't help but thinking of how cute the boy was. It's no wonder Kento has a soft spot for the lovable teenager.

"Not much, really. I just have very sharp senses, maybe above average stamina too, but I've given up whatever supernatural skill I've had before the moment I decided to bind myself to Kento." You shrugged.

"That's still so cool!"

You smiled fondly at his excitement.

"Meh. That's lame. Did you seriously give up your powers for a man?"

And then you burst into laughter. Nobara truly didn't measure her words, but you enjoying her fiery, non-nonsense attitude nonetheless.

"Trust me. I would have said the same thing if I were in your place before I met my husband." You shrugged, still smiling.

Nobara regarded you for a second before deciding to sit down. If you were gonna be stuck there for while, she might as well.

"What else could you do?"

And that's how Nanami found you when Megumi opened the door for him.

"-and that's when I discovered demons do not mix well with chili." You finished, smiling proudly at yourself for being the cause behind their joy when Yuji fell back against the ground with a cackle and Nobara had to cover her mouth to muffle a snort.

"Ken!" You exclaimed once you saw him standing behind Megumi.

Kento had clearly rushed over, dressed in a crumpled beige long sleeved top, unironed slacks and a brown jacket thrown over the ensemble, hair still falling over his forehead.

He rushed forward ignoring his students until he was right before you, hand brushing away part of the circle on the ground before lifting you up and into his arms in a tight hug, "my love! I was worried."

"I know, I know, Ken. I'm so sorry." You murmured muffled against his shoulder and hugging him back.

"It's not your fault, love. Don't apologize." He carefully settled you back on your feet, hands carefully framing your face. Then his soft gaze steeled up suddenly and he turned aways from you and towards the three awaiting younglings.

"We're very sorry, Nanamin." Yuji started tentatively.

"You better be. Messing with things you do not understand, can you imagine what would have happened had you summoned other-"

"Ken. Ken, darling. It's fine. They won't do it again." You stopped your husband with both hands on his shoulders, dropping a kiss to his covered back, before joining his side and looking at the kids, "will you?"

"No."

"Never!"

"Nah."

"See?"

He huffed, but still agreed with a nod of his head, "well... it seems the matter is resolved then?"

"Yeah. I think we got the gist of the whole demoniac thing." Nobara spoke indifferently.

"Your wife is really cool, Nanamin!"

"I know, Itadori."

"Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, sensei."

"It's already been forgiven, Fushiguro. We'll take our leave now. Goodnight."

As always, Nanami kept everything succinct. To be honest, it was obvious to you that he just wanted to go back to bed for a good night of sleep after a tiring day of grading papers... preferentially cuddled with you.

"And kids,"

"Let's keep this between us, yes?"

...

"You guys think we can still catch the last showing of Human Earthworm?"

"Oh my god!"

"Shut up, Itadori."
