ah, don't worry, anon, that is on us. ace attorney is something we enjoy, but struggle to edit. so we removed it from our fandom list, but forgot to remove the characters from our whitelist. we'll probably remove it, but we won't get too pissed if someone requests something we've edited in the past that we removed from the list. it'll be case by case. its something we did when we came back, because somethings we love, but don't like editing, or that we haven't been in too for a second. we also should update our whitelist completely at some point.

The original post is about percabeth, I'm assuming you know percabeth cause that's like the only thing in the tags that you could have found the post with i think, and in general it's more vibes over accuracy than rooted in canon. But that specific line is based on a headcanon of mine. I firmly believe that tartarus was dark, semi-dark at best. Maybe a bit red tinted even. So my headcanon is that it could trigger flashbacks to being in tartarus if they saw each other in similar lighting. Especially after waking up from a nightmare for example when they're already feeling off-kilter.

Without that context tho it definitely sounds incredibly unhealthy you're 100% right

I think he’d be pretty brainwashed by Ra’s in that scenario and if Ra’s was smart, he’d keep Bruce far away from Gotham. Just in case the city brings up any old memories or causes the Pit’s hold on him to weaken. So if he did turn up in Gotham, it would probably be as a representative of the League of Assassins, right? As the Demon Head’s General?

I was explaining to a friend (who only kept up with F1 through her dad growing up and left home in 2018/19) last night something about F1 and Max and she went "oh he's world champion? I just remember him being like really aggressive and only a big name because his dad drove with Schumacher" and like...massive reality check for all of us. Max was regularly called overrated and washed and now he's arguably one of the top 5 GOATs in the sport. Media and people's perception of drivers is fickle, which is why I trust paddock sources or past/current world champions on who they think the next WDC will be after Max (they all say Charles).

it’s basically that but i think there is a bit more of… nuance in that. they became friends around 2007. and because they were of similar age they grew very fond of eachother. besides, novak at the beginning kind of idolized nadal which was pretty cute, and they complemented eachother’s sense of humour, which helped so much

it’s commonly acknowledged that when novak started winning rafa started getting a bit mad at him because of that, because if anything rafa is a bit (glazing my player let me have this) prideful. but there’s also the shift that their relationship instead of being a friendly one became, as most sports friendships do, a rivalry

while i think novak starting to win more was a factor in their distance, i do think that the nature of the game also drove them apart. like. this was them in 2010 what happened

2011 i think is the shifting point because it’s when novak got REALLY good at tennis. which, obviously, with tennis being such a competitive sport turned things for the worse really fast because novak suddenly started winning everything. they weren’t on equal grounds anymore. it turned sour and weird for rafa

and then 2013 happened. a rollercoaster of emotions. novak’s dad chiming in and accusing rafa of ruining their friendship because he was bitter BUT RAFA actually replied saying that they were still friends which is crazy if you ask me

then the infamous rafa hits novak with the ball and apologizes instance happened (montreal btw!). i think a lot of people talk about that moment because it was when the tensions between them were so bad but at the net hug rafa started to apologize even more which i do think is very important

the remaining years were and still are so weird because of novak’s statements. one day he might say he and rafa are not friends but then do exhos together, smiling and having fun, being close. which, weird, right? but i do think adds to the drama of rafole. you never know what’s going on between those two, like, novak once stated that the big three were not friends and then the six kings slam happened and he invited rafa to dance like. what

anyways. i do think there is an underlying amicability in rafole only when rafa won matches, but it’s just. so much more than that. novak’s interest to have this “no friends persona” during those years because he needed to be strong and rafa who was so bitter at novak for always winning but also leaving him behind, changing him for the glory of winning, and what can you do about that?
