CWs: mentions of sex but like. nothing too bad mostly just vague sex drives and that sort of thing, really!

Slenderman;

honestly i think he might be on the ace spectrum, or maybe thats because i dont think he really knows what sex /is/

okay well he does know what it is but he only understands it on a surface level, but otherwise he doesnt really care much for it in an everyday setting

yeah i think hes on the spectrum; i also think he might be on the aro spectrum!

only really initiates intimacy if you want it (reminder that not all aces dont have sex! attraction stuff is the main thing) but otherwise i would write him the same way as i do with a non-asexual reader!

extra headannon since his is kinda short but really hes probably the most supportive out of any creepypasta simply because i like to write him as this entity that doesnt interact much with others but is still. curious. this man does not know what lgbtphobia is (and thinks its dumb when he does find out!)

Trenderman;

very similar with slenderman but more in tuned with identity stuff and things like that

personally i hc him to be greysexual, or demisexual! i think trender is like. the only one out of the 3 brothers (that i claim) that i dont see being ready to get down and dirty? like unlike slender he KNOWS what it is and understands attraction and all that but just doesnt. feel it

so he gets it! he interacts with people more than slender but like. not openly, i mean like not as himsef?! this is kind of a side tangent but i like to think that slender beings can create false human bodies and trender is the main one who uses it

anyways! im kind of getting off topic

he understands the stigma and hate ace people can get so out of the four characters today i think he would be the most likely to offer an ear when youre getting flack

i wish i had more for trender as well but this is genuinely the first time ive written for him so im still all OWOWOOOUGH!! with how i wanna portray him

okay so! the two above characters are fine with it because theyre on the spectrum above but i feel like eyeless jack just outright doesnt care if your ace or not since he has a fairly low sex drive 99% of the time

rudy never was one to sleep early, in all honesty he seemed to do the complete opposite. he would always go to bed hours later after you. you never understood why.

it wasn't anything that made you suspicious, he wouldnt go far, most of the time he would still be at home, just outside. it was just odd, but it didnt seem like anything bad?

one night you woke up and there was an unfamiliar emptiness beside you, rudy wasnt there next to you like he was right before you fell asleep

its the middle of the night what else would this guy be doing at 2am??

so you're panicking a bit, you wake up and your boyfriend isnt next to you. sure maybe hes just pissing but you're tired and logic isnt the first thing that comes to mind

you call out for him, your throat a bit dry after you've just woken up and it comes out a bit more panicked than you intended

you sit up, eyes scanning the room looking for him- any sign of him

a sigh of relief leaves your lips, he's there. he's in your bedroom, back turned to you as he gazes upwards, out the window.

as soon as he hears his name his head whips around, why are you panicking?? whats going on?? did something happen? did you have a nightmare? most importantly, are you okay?

but he hears your sigh and you mumble something under your breath. he closes the curtains and walks towards you, gently cupping your cheek

"qué pasa?" "sorry i just- you weren't next to me and i just panicked" "nothing to be sorry for."

his voice is soft, barely above a whisper. he runs his thumb along your cheekbone, holding your cheek so tenderly it feels like you're about to melt

"it's okay. im right here."

"what were you doing?" you ask him, its about damn time he tells you anyways and you're getting curious about his strange nighttime habit "you'll find out tomorrow. its better if its a surprise." he kisses your forehead and climbs back into bed with you. "what if i dont want it to be a surprise?" "well thats not up to you. now go to sleep, cariño"

one his arms snake around your waist, the other making its way under your head, like a pillow but better

the next night, as soon as it gets dark he finally lets you in on his not so secret secret.

he grabs your hand, your fingers intertwining with his and leads you outside to a picnic blanket

"its a bit late for a picnic." you say with a yawn

he rolls his eyes as he walks over to the blanket, lying down flat on his back. you do the same, curious to what his next move was.

"stop looking at me and look up" he says with a chuckle

you listen to him and look up, hundreds of stars scattered in the distant sky. its calm, the sounds of the crickets chirping, his hand in yours, your back flat against the picnic blanket, its so serene you almost forget to breathe

"i used to do this all the time when i was younger." rudy says, breaking the silence "i would set up a mat outside and me and alejandro would lie there for hours until my mamá would yell at us to come back inside"

you look over at him, just for a second and catch him smiling as he reminisces

"i like to look at the stars when i get overwhelmed. reminds me i how small i am in the universe" "thats a bit melancholic, dont you think? the idea that we're so much smaller than the universe. like we dont matter as much as we think" you say, "i dont think of it like that. its like the world is bigger than my problems, it continues and theres so much more than just my troubles." he replies, eyes fixated on the stars "well when you put it that way, it sounds pretty nice"

the next few minutes are spent with rudy teaching you some basic constellations like the big and small dipper and then moves onto the more complex ones like ursa minor, andromeda and orion.

each constellation he points out comes with a story, as great as they look you cant help but watch him as he tells you all about them. its something he loves so deeply, you can tell from the way the corners of his mouth turn upwards as he describes them to you, the look of amazement in his eyes even though he's seen the stars hundreds of times. you cant help but fall more for him with every word he says

"i wish we met earlier. before when i was younger you could see so much more than just ...this. i wish i could've shown it to you" his tone becomes slightly bittersweet.

you don't exactly know what to say, you just wrap an arm around his torso, you mutter a soft "i know" right before you press a kiss to his cheek

the next time you two go stargazing its when you go camping together, although sure its not just in your backyard its as close as you can get with just enough clarity in the sky to see everything rudy wanted to show you :]

“Has anyone seen Nymphia today?” Jane wondered aloud to her coworkers in the break room, at half past 10, Nymphia still hadn’t come to see Jane or pull her away for a secret kiss.

Dawn shrugged, eyes fixated on Amanda pouring coffee across the room. “Shouldn’t you be the one to know that?”

Jane huffed, swallowing down the brief worry that Nymphia no longer wanted to see her, that she’d finally pushed her away and replaced it with the reminder that Nymphia had texted her just this morning with a string of about 100 yellow heart emojis.

“I’m sure she’s in her office,” Dawn offered, “it’s audit season so she’s probably just too busy to come down to your cubicle and ogle you.”

“Says you,” Jane muttered, eyes shifting between Amanda and Dawn.

Dawn rolled her eyes. “Just go check, you’re gonna be bitchy and mopey until you see her and I don’t want you bringing that energy back to our office, capeesh?”

Jane downed the rest of her coffee and tossed the paper cup in the trash before she left the break room, heading down the hall to Nymphia’s office.

She was surprised to find the door shut tightly. Usually, Nymphia always kept it open, never one to turn down impromptu chat sessions with anyone that walked by.

Tentatively, Jane knocked on the door. “Nymphia? Are you in here?”

“Come in,” she heard quietly from the other side.

Jane opened the door and was met in near complete darkness save for the blue light from Nymphia’s computer, lighting up her face.

“Hi Janey,” Nymphia said, trying to hide the way her voice cracked.

“Nymphia.”

“What? I don’t get a ‘hi’ back?”

“Why are you here?” Jane demanded to know, she hadn’t meant to come across so harsh but her protective instincts flared up realizing Nymphia was sick. As she stepped closer to her, heat radiated off of Nymphia and Jane noticed to trash can under Nymphia’s desk was halfway full of tissues.

“I kinda work here,” Nymphia laughed, trying to play it cool.

“You know what I meant. You’re clearly sick, baby.” Jane said, softening; worry tugging at her.

Nymphia felt no use in lying about it, Jane already gathered enough evidence to debunk any excuse she might’ve had. “I’m planning on leaving once all these reports are done.”

Jane shook her head. “Nope, we’re leaving now and I’m gonna take care of you.”

“Jane, c’mon, it’ll only be a few more hours,” she whined, followed by a coughing fit.

“You’ll never get better if you keep pushing yourself,” Jane said matter of factly, taking a seat on the edge of Nymphia’s desk and pressing her hand into Nymphia’s forehead, “you’re burning up.”

“Okay, I’ll go,” Nymphia relented, “but you don’t need to take care of me. I don’t want to get you sick.”

Tucking a strand of hair behind Nymphia’s ear, Jane said tenderly, “Right now, the only person you need to help is yourself. Don’t worry about me, just let me take care of you.”

Nymphia sighed. “Okay, fine.”

Jane smiled and kissed the top of Nymphia’s head, letting her soothing touch linger for a moment. “Good, now let’s go. I’ll take you home and make you some soup.”

Packing up Nymphia’s things, Jane led Nymphia out to her car, hand out waiting for the keys. If it were any other day, Nymphia would’ve never allowed Jane behind the wheel, but with the way her head pounded, she handed over the keys.

They drove home in a comforting silence, Jane gently rubbing her thumb across the back of Nymphia’s too warm hand until Jane was pulling into Nymphia’s apartment complex and helping her up to her apartment, letting go when Nymphia was safely curled up on the couch.

“You get some rest, baby, I’m gonna make you some soup.”

Nymphia shook her head, reaching for Jane. “Not hungry,” she mumbled, “I want-“

“What is it? Do you need something to drink?”

“No, cuddle? Please?”

Jane smiled softly, pulling her feet up and tucking Nymphia against her side, unable to deny her girl anything. “I guess soup can wait. Still get some rest though.”

Nymphia rested her head on Jane’s shoulder, sighing contently. “Thank you for taking care of me.”

there are many things wrong with this ep (like derek existing, and also his lines, and also yul existing,,, and the stuff ive pointed out) but its ONC. i'll throw them a bone ig. i'm okay with what we got, it obviously wasn't a masterpiece and it felt fanservice-y in parts (yk that one post or ask or whatever that says season 1 & 2 DSVC was a show a fandom was built off, but season 3 is a show built off the fandom? yea some scenes reminded me of that. coigh cough krystal mildly breaking the fourth wall.) but i'm glad connor only got like 2 seconds of screentime, fiore and alec got along, and the jajames crumbs oh my.. <3

overall, an 8/10 and if my memory isn't failing me this is probably the best rating since ep 13?? but yea it was a good episode i'm fine with it. im surprised they didnt ruin.everything. bc yk its ONC. so yea!!! yay yippee yay!

author's corner/first thoughts.

firstly, to those of you who know what it's like, and those of you who don't, i hope i did these themes justice. i'm not sure if this is an entirely accurate representation - i tried to take some of my own experiences and exaggerate it into what fit for my vision of the story. i apologize if i have trivialized any aspect of it. also there is like. negative actual romance like the tension is not there bc i imagine them to be pure balls of sweetness and fluff and like. it will probably happen? but like 5 years down the line. i called this story shutter-click partially after the sound of a camera, and partially because when i think of pictures now, i think of the importance of the memories present in them. it could be the ugliest picture you have ever seen, and yet it still means something to someone, because it reminds them of something they might have forgotten once upon a time. that's also why the reader names the first collection shutter-click - in part in reference to the title, but also the importance of these 'pictures' that are carried on throughout life. i.e. nanny's grin, the first person to ever believe in them, which also helps them overcome a great many barriers. ngl i didnt think about the rest of the art. maybe the rest should also be smile-inspired. but i am not going to call it the smile collection. this was also in no way sunflower caliber LOL sorry. genuinely have no clue i feel like the pacing was really fast. too fast. shouldve probably spent more time with the growth era. i will very likely revisit a similar concept eventually ok now that that's over - rant time. this was the brainchild of a discarded mc concept for another of my works. i couldn't quite get her character to fit with my vision, and then this was born. i wrote all of this in a day. i said i would take a break. well, i didn't. lowkey a hiatus time now <3 sorry. really wanted to get more work done on porcelain but then i was like WHAT IF and then i thought of a kiri fic. and then u know what i realized? mc is literally just katsuki like. i am in despair like now i really want to make porcelain a coming of age fic too. discovering oneself, forging yourself anew. what if it was a whole collection. oh my god. please send me some katsuki asks so i can brainrot over him instead (please) mentally i feel like the clown meme music and a thousand bouncing balls in my brain all at once. i have been listening to the same song for seven hours. this was also partially inspired off the prompt 'tragedy of a spare heir' but really reader is neither a spare nor a heir so ? ? ? dunno man i wasnt lying when i said i was tired seriously though, thank you to everyone who commented + liked shared my first work. i genuinely never expected to receive such a positive response, and i hope that this one is up to the same caliber. i still think im a god btw im genuinely on 4 hours of sleep and just churned out like. 10k? in less than 12 hours HAHAHA #if i don't laugh i am going to cry #i want to carve my brain out and examine it. these last few hours were such a blur but it's over. i feel both defeated and glorious at the same time. this was also significantly harder to write than sunflowers. that one was so nice. so easy. i miss it. im never hitting that peak again i think seriously though i think it's temp hiatus time i am emptied of thought will continue updating as i think of things i guess

i'm not sure if social anxiety disorder/selective mutism is necessarily something you are born with. i am aware that you can develop it as the results of past traumas, but in this case, there is very little explanation about that - it's left unexplained in the fic. could both be from hatred of cameras (ik i hate having photos taken of me lol), but again, a lot of this is entirely exaggerated and fictional. sorry. the nanny was supposed to die, but i am tired. so tired. i did not want to write an angst scene that had no relevance to the happiness of the plot. so now u guys just have the most tooth rotting fluff i have ever written in existence. she doesn't appear again in a lot of the later scenes, did i write her in alive? if i did: she actually lives forever. literally immortal idgaf more about the nanny: i imagined someone who also had difficulties in communication, and i hope that translated in the way her speech was very often broken? idk if that was accurate i wrote all of her dialogue at 3am and passed out right after. probably definitely isn't in japanese. my english was not englishing at this time. i hope it was made clear in the fic: everything that the reader that thought about herself and her relationships was wrong, with regards to the parents/sister. idk if this is accurate, but in my mind, and from my experience, my social anxiety at least is that i overthought a lot of things, misinterpreted a lot as well. soooo actually guys you DO have a loving family! i am saving the trauma for porcelain! honestly, i thought about this fic, and when i think of midoriya i just think of pure innocence lol. does it reflect ? similarly to sunflowers, the themes were childhood friendship and growth. i once again skip out on my proper kiss scene bc i think it would suit them even less than the ones in that one. but at least she kissed him on the cheek. it felt pretty ooc to me though so i think she shouldve just hugged him. at least there is also that the thing is though: you're the one to do everything first. he's really hesitant, because he still remembers you as you were, before you were out of your shell. he doesn't want to push you, overwhelm you in any way. you definitely have to be the one to initiate everything -> i just didnt think the hug + cheek kiss together was in character for me but whatever i wrote it i hope u enjoy you kiss him and hes an absolute fucking dorky mess . but honestly this is like every step in the relationship originally, the all might figurine you gift him was supposed to be a birthday present in return for the camera. this is just a fun fact. also i know both of the characters were both supposed to be insanely socially anxious but that would never have worked out so i took some liberties with it/midoriya's character. hope it still makes sense? also hope that his ramble was in-line with canon oh yeah there was supposed to be a side plot with the dead brother. i cannot tell you what it was, seeing as how i do not remember. probably some form of traumatic thing i removed from porcelain reader doesn't have a described quirk cause i am on negative brain juice and couldn't think. you can imagine that it is something art related if you'd like. but i didnt wanna yap more so.

synopsis: he's on the verge of dying. you're the hq nurse who healed him. you saved him,but it seems he wants something more from you.

content: miguel x gender neutral reader (though fem reader was in mind), reader is hq's nurse, mention of dying, hospital talk, ooc miguel? injury and angst

“Lyla, do you have any tips for migraines?” asked Miguel,

- I don’t, she replies with a smile, but I have to remind you you have to go to the nursery for your weekly check-up.

-Do I really have to go? Asked Miguel with a pout. You know they scare me and -

-Seriously? You’re fighting anomalies all year long and you’re scared of a little check-up? (she laughs) you’re really strange.

- I know but-

-No buts! I booked you an appointment at 2:30pm!

-It’s no fair (he does the same pout as he did before) why don’t you have to go?

- That’s the perk of having no physical body! (she winks) plus I heard they’re super nice!”

While Lyla and Miguel waited for their appointment, you were doing some stuff in your office. Once 2:30pm arrived, you head a gentle knock on your door.

“-Hello! Is this your first time there? You ask with a smile. I don’t remember seeing you there. Lyla told me you’d come but she didn’t tell me your name. You are?

- I’m hum, I’m Miguel O'Hara. He stutters, uncertain.

-Nice to meet you then! (you smile as you wave his hand, check your files and notice he never came to the supposedly mandatory weekly check-ups.) No wonder why I never saw you there! You exclaim on a light-hearted tone. So-

-No need to worry about that! He hurries. I just came there because of my migraines, they’re pretty frequent and-

-Oh! You cut him off. It’s simple, you just have to take this! (you hand him a little box of painkillers.) But if I were you, I’d be careful as frequent migraines can be a sign of early stage brain cancer. So I’d recommend you to do a full body check up, so that we could notice (déceler) some tumors. But if you want to go, I’m not forcing you to stay!

The desperate look Miguel gave you made you understand he was willing to stay.

-Do we really have to do this? He uncertainly asked as you got him laying down on a dentist chair.

-Yes! You say as you put on a surgeon mask. A full body check-up isn’t a full body one if I don’t check your teeth too! Now open wide!

A few moments go by as you inspect his teeth, when all of a sudden you feel a sharp jolt of pain go through your hand.

-I’m sorry! Miguel hurried, I didn’t mean to do that!

- It’s fine don’t worry! You reassure him as you put a bandage on your hand where he bit you. At least I found the issue! If your head hurt so much it was simply because your teeth are moving.

- So the whole brain cancer thing was a lie?

-Partly, but I told you this because weekly check-ups are important! You say as you pout lightly. I was starting to think you never came because you hated me… Anyway, can you please fill in this? It’s a medical about me sheet! The more honest and accurate you will be, the better I will be able to heal you! I know I may look scary, but I mean no harm really! Just see me as a friend, okay?

“A friend?” Miguel thought to himself, and a strange warmth invaded his heart. He has been a loner most of his life, but it sure felt nice to know he could reach out to someone whenever he needed to.

- You WHAT? Lyla exclaimed as you were away to get some medicine.

-I bit them. Miguel admitted shamefully.

- Now they’re the one who’s going to be scared of you! Lyla chuckled between laughter.

- I like you a whole bunch but if you don’t shut up right now I’ll turn the WiFi off.

- Say what you want, I saw how hard you blushed when they got you sitting down!

- Aight that’s it I’m turning you off-

- You better not-

A few moments later, you came back in the room with some syringes and a plaster mold.

-Uhh, what is all that for? Miguel asked, unsure.

- It’s because you need braces! You say as you hand him the plaster mold. Instead of biting my hand, bite this instead please!

-I need… braces?

- Mhm! It’s because of your fangs! For some reason, when they grew they pushed back your other teeth and that’s where all your migraines came from! If you came more often, you would’ve not needed these!

-There we go! Don’t hesitate to come again if they’re too tight, but normally the painkillers should be enough!

Once Miguel was gone, you treated your other patients until the end of your day, and decided to check Miguel’s file.

-Lyla?

- Yes?

- Can you tell me more about Miguel’s past? I noticed a weird mark on his shoulder and he didn’t mention anything similar in his file.

-I love you a whole bunch sunshine, but you know I can’t do this.

-Please? I need to know if I want to heal him more efficiently!

-Fine, Lyla sighed. Before the whole spiderverse protection thing, he worked at Alchemax and found out some bad stuff happened, his boss found out he knew so he forced him to take some shitty drugs which turned him into an addict.

-But why didn’t he tell me?

Lyla raised an eyebrow and smiled.

- Well sunshine, you know how he is! She chuckled, Always grumpy and never wanting to admit his weaknesses! And probably because he wanted you to have a good first impression of him!

-Ohhh. You think out loud. That makes much more sense now.

-One last thing sunshine! (you turn your head towards her) You didn’t hear this from me,

okay? Don’t mention any of this unless he speaks about it first!

-Mkay! Thanks, you’re the best Lyla!

A few weeks later, you kept on meeting and healing random patients, but you had no sign of Miguel.

-Is there anything new today? You ask Lyla, feeling like boredom getting the best of you.

-Nope, still nothing sunshine. Are you okay? She asked with a hint of worry in her voice.

-I’m fine, you sigh as you laid back on your chair, it’s just… Not being a spiderperson is boring.

- You know, by healing all those heroes, it’s as if you save people as well!

- I mean, if you put it that way… You chuckled. Thank you Lyla, you truly know how to cheer up people! (someone knocked on the door) Miguel? What are you doing here?

- I came here uh… Because I ran out of medicine.

-Oh! Of course! There you go!

-Thank you, he mumbles. I also got you this by the way, he stutters, handing you a wildflowers bouquet. As an apology for uh… Your hand.

-Oh! Thank you, but you really didn’t need to! You thank him with a genuine smile. Did you need anything else from me?

-I’ll be fine thank you!

-Lyla?

-Mmh?

At this exact moment, Miguel abruptly came in the room, badly injured? He had a lot of cuts all over his body and was losing so much blood he was on the verge of passing out.

- Please… Need… Healing… he murmured.

- Lyla, scan his vital lifeline and tell me which ones need healing first! You hurried, trying your best to keep your calm.

- There’s a serious wound near his heart! Be quick, he’s losing a lot of blood!

- Lyla… Miguel said, barely whispering. Am I going to die?

- Of course! But not today! You say as you kept on pressing on his wounds, making a fortune bandage out of random fabric you found. Lyla, call Pablo and tell her to come here and put Miguel in intensive care.

-Lyla… Miguel whispered, his eyes closed, tell y/n I love them, OK? Thank you… For every… thing… Think I’m going… to sleep … a little now…

He then put his head on your lap, waiting for the robot to arrive, while you cupped his face, crying silently.

- It’s not your fault, sunshine, you did your best, Lyla tried to reassure you as you both waited in front of Miguel’s hospital room.

- Apparently, it wasn’t enough… you sigh, defeated. Be honest, do you think he’ll survive?

- I don’t know sunshine, I don’t know…

A few hours passed as you both nervously waited for any doctor to give you news of Miguel, but every person you asked didn’t know or simply ignored you. You then started to fall asleep on your chair, the exhaustion getting the best of you, when a doctor gently patted your shoulder to wake you up.

-Y/N? I have news for you. You brought Miguel… (he checks his files) Miguel O'Hara, right? (you nod as you feel your heart miss a beat). He got seriously injured and he lost a lot of blood, so we had to put him in an artificial coma. We don’t know if he’ll make it, but I’m sure he would appreciate some company. Would you mind following me please?

The doctor then led you to Miguel’s room before softly closing the door behind you.

- Hi, uh, I hope you’re doing OK wherever you are. The doctors said you would like some company, so I’m staying here for a while. I don’t know if you can hear me, but if you can, well, I’m sorry. I really did try my best to save you. And… if I failed… (a knot starts forming in your throat) if you joined your daughter, well, I hope you’re happy with her. And I hope what you told Lyla earlier, the ‘tell Y/N I love them, was true. Because, even though bringing a smile to your face is the hardest thing to do – you know I always like a challenge! You chuckle with a faint smile, I still want to see that grumpy, but lovely, face of yours. Anyway, I’ll stop talking for a while, but I’ll stay here until I have news from the doctors. Please don’t leave us. The multiverse needs you. I need you.

You then kept on telling him random details of your day, as a way to convince yourself he was still alive. You kept on doing so for so much time you ended up falling asleep with your head on his chest, listening to his slow and steady heartbeat.

- Y/N? Softly murmured Miguel after what seemed to you an eternity. He looked a bit taken aback seeing you like this, slowly waking up from your head on his chest.

- Miguel!! you happily exclaimed as you hugged him, wiping away your tears. I thought you were – you know- I thought you didn’t make it and it would be all my fault and-

- Hey hey, he reassured you, softly patting your back, secretly surprised someone cared about him enough to visit him in his hospital room. I’m alive see? I’m a big boy! (he coughs) can you please go ask the doctors for more painkillers please?

A few moments passed as the doctors gave Miguel more medicine. You and Lyla were now talking with the doctors to see when Miguel could go out of the hospital. By a shared agreement, it has been decided that Miguel could leave the hospital only if he lived with a near caregiver.

- There is my apartment! You say as both reached your doorstep. It’s not that big but it’ll -

-Thank you. You truly saved my life.

- That’s my job, silly! You replied with a bright and relieved smile. At least, by living with me, I’ll be able to heal you right away! However, I have a bad news: now, check-ups won’t be weekly anymore but daily!

- But -

- No but! Now get your ass on the couch and relax before I force you to, and r e l a x! You've been through hell today and you need some rest!

You then headed to the kitchen to make something to eat for the both of you, but to your surprise, when you came back, you found him asleep on your couch, it was truly an endearing view.

-Time to change those bandages, you say to yourself, as a way to give yourself courage.

You then got on top of him, putting your legs on both sides of his hips. You started to take off the bandages on his face, taking endless precautions to not hurt him.

You didn’t notice Miguel was awake until you felt his hands on your waist.

-You’re cute when you’re on top of me, he chuckled with a sly smirk, we should do this more often.

You firmly push him back on the couch before adding:

- Not now big boy, making me flustered won’t make this faster for both of us, now stay still, will you?

You then lightly push his hair back to not hurt him while taking off his bandages. You tried your best to stay focused, but the thing is he still had his hands around your waist, and you would be lying if you told yourself he didn’t look cute underneath you…

After a few moments, Miguel finally broke the silence:

- I didn’t tell you, but you look very cute, carinõ

You rolled your eyes, but your blushing cheeks betrayed you.

Once you were done healing him, you headed to the kitchen to make breakfast for both of you.

Your thoughts were racing like crazy. What if Lyla was right? What if Miguel did see you as more than a friend? Even worse, what if you reciprocated these hypothetical feelings?

A few more days passed as Miguel could now take care of himself on his own.

- Well, there you go… you sigh, your heart aching a bit from seeing him leave. I’m glad you’ve fully recovered now, don’t hesitate to come agai-

He interrupted you by kissing you, having you slightly pinned against the wall of your apartment’s doorstep. It felt like a relief to both of you, as if none of you dared to do it, yet it was like the physical contact was a life threatening need for the both of you.

The kiss was fierce and passionate, yet there was something – you couldn’t quite put your finger on it – you couldn’t help but find cute.

You mention ao3 and I can't help but remember the fact that there is already an Would You Love Me if I Was A Worm fic. (worm dorks) It is Cater's influence on Riddle but the other way around? Hm... Riddle's a very doting person to animals and the worm being his boyfie? yeah he'd take the question extremely seriously and swear his loyalty to worm-Azul. The orange peel test... yeah. Less of a 'test' and more 'Riddle's just not used to peeling his own oranges'. Like he gets a craving for them and royally messes up his first attempt so Azul does it in his stead. After laughing at how bad he is, of course. (But stopping right before he gets too upset about it. I think Azul would be very careful with boundaries, considering his past with bullying and his abilities to read other people's cues.)

Azul is bigger than Jade and Floyd in their merforms... tiny Riddle. I think he'd be shocked to see just how much bigger this previously only 5'9 slimy businessman is. and it'd scare Azul.
